'Tis the nature of asyms, I suppose. You have fundamentally opposing goals, so what's seen as fair game by the one side can easily be seen as annoying by the other.
-
The idea is that it levels the playing field, so to speak.
Wouldn’t be against it turning the chances on its head, though.
-
Currently, I’d say Iri Heads are largely fine. They have a significant drawback, and you must get value from them to achieve anything.
InstaClown, on the other hand… I wish it had a drawback as well. Maybe have it not explode into gas upon direct hit? Just something, really.

i dont know. they dont allow people cursing at each other but they put a killer in the game recently that does nothing but curse at people
^ this bothered me from the start.
Obviously, we want to censor slurs. But there’s many examples of swears in DbD. Censoring them, when the characters themselves use them, seems hypocritical.
-
I got a hackusation…
over what turned out to be Off the Record.
beyond that, I’ve had someone absolutely fuming in chat over them getting caught in the basement because of Iron Maiden.
-
That's swamp's outer edges for you. Either you get the Pog Log, or you get Nothing At All!
-
From what I can tell, it's probs gonna be a size reduction. That long boulder in front of the main entrance has been shortened significantly, by the look of it.
-
Adrenaline proc'ing at every completed gen.
-
I mean, "acceptable" is subjective, but it's leagues more common than it used to be. In part due to people realising DS was never that good of a deterrent to begin with.
-
Given the January time-frame they gave, odds are the PTB is going live January 9th, with the Mid-Chapter hitting live around the 30th.
Just an estimation, though.
-
I mean, one is controversial, and the other is rather obscure.
The one's storyline is a right mess, and the other's a single game which hasn't even been finished after, what, 6 years?
Obviously it goes to the Dread Duckies.
-
I’m gonna wait with my guesses until the mid-chapter is here.
The last rift kinda-sorta teased Chucky with it being toy-themed.
-
If not the upcoming mid-chapter (late January) then they might come with the full chapter release (early March?)

hehehe just going through threads of medicines for research purpose didnt knew it will trigger alot of peeps sorry
what? that doesn't make sense
that medicine thing was an analogy.

Strictly speaking, the year starts with the summer release since Clown.
Of this, though, G4 is a very strong one. G5’s releases were rough across the board.
-
it’s still 2,5 hours away for me as of writing, but an early Happy New Year!!
-
My one concern with him is how he still gets to use Slice ‘n Dice immediately after a scamper. I feel like Scampering needs to eat a a significant portion of the active period of Hidey-Ho mode.

Have you ever tried this build?
Rancor, no way out, game afoot, noed
Slap that on spirit...
Pure evil.
See, Game Afoot was among the 3 that I do remember.
Haven't tried it, but I have faced it.
-
9/12 perks that came with ToT, tbh.
-
This is not the place to do it. Support doesn't work via the forums.
Seeing as you already submitted ban appeals through support, I'm afraid there's not much any of us can do.

how a medicine can be worse can you please explain the logic here
you revived a 2-and-a-half-year old thread.
-
Happy New Year!

Call of Brine came out after Artist, with Sadako.
Overcharge was buffed after PR released.
Eruption was buffed after PR released.
Pop got nerfed hard, then was buffed twice.

No not really talking perks wise I mean if you play 1/3 matches there's a good chance you'll see a Mikaela she's everywhere, that kind of impact
That's fair. Whoever they end up being, I would hope people enjoy them for the character, regardless of their perks.
-
It really is as simple as them wanting to allow players to show off.
Also, hard disagree with the suggestion of removing the pre-game lobby. For thematic purposes alone, it has to stay.

Hopefully the survivor will have an impact like Mikaela
Like CoH? Dear god no.
-
We got a mid-chapter first.
With an original survivor, I hear.
-
There's a few rather striking outliers there.
Clown and Freddy are hardly top tiers, yet are among the most disliked.

The "plus" side is the owners are retiring. So they're not shutting down because of problems or whatnot (unless not finding someone to buy your shop is considered a problem I suppose).
Love that for them (The fact that they were able to do this until retirement, that is.)
-
Ah. So that’s why the snowpile spawned there.
the gen spawn itself was scuffed
-
How very... Don't Starve-ey.
Articulating Forbidden Experiments...
Herding a Keen Sense of Despair...
Generating Wilson's Beard...
-
That sounds like a bug.
What map was this on?
-
Fun fact: It says “The Entity hungers…” now
-
Sadako’s, easily.
-
Knight's bug is far more impactful than not seeing Plaything's aura.
ICYMI, he could summon all three guards in a single use of his power, meaning that if they can cut the survivor off properly, they just die.
-
In a hypothetically perfectly played game, I think it goes to the survivors. Dunno how close it would be, though.
It's an unstoppable force meets inmovable object kinda deal, though.
-
DbD really isn't suited for competitive ladders.
-
Ngl, this sounds like a conspiracy theory.
why would they lie. Like, actually. Who benefits there.
-
I remember way back when, people discovered a bug with Hag traps with that one add-on that gave them collission, that landing on top of them shot you into the sky.
At some point during their testing, the survivor just disappeared. Shot way too high up to tell if they were even falling, they didn’t quite realise the model had simply vanished.
In the post-game tally screen, the survivor was marked as escaped, even though the player was still in-game.
-
They give more BP, and slightly increase the strength of the sway. The increased progress was removed when the feature actually went live.
-
Snowskull piles spawn in places of gens. There’s no way they could be blocking windows.
The snowmen spawn in places of hooks, I think. So again, they’re not gonna block loops in ways that are unqiue to them.
-
I forget about prestige the instant the match starts, so that should probably tell you enough.
-
This moreso raises the question whether our current queue is not casual mode already.
-
Assuming doubles aren't allowed...
Plague with just about anyone that isn't Legion or Trapper. She's the ultimate "Support" archetype here.
Doc is the best recon killer, so he's also pretty universally useful, if not directly lethal.
Trapper with Bubba. Bubba forces survivors through windows, so Trapper traps windows, and done.
-
did you make the same thread twice?

Not in my matches. Not once have I had a survivor blown up a generator or miss a healing skill check.
strongly doubt that.
Do you never hear a loud noise notif that can't be explained by a vault or an unhook?

I actually like the crows when I'm slugged. I have dozed off a time or two late at night to their cawing.
Ikr. Who could possibly hate crows??
look at them
-
Most likely a personal risk thing.
If it’s harmless, they won’t actively ban you. But if EAC does ding your account, they are unable to help you.

Hatch
Literally Just To Do Something
Crows Are Annoying (heresy)
Spite (as an immediate eye-for-an-eye thing)

I will say that the "years" thing rubbed me wrong as well, but at the same time... None of this is new.
I think, generally speaking, Otz really needs a break from the game, and many players with him. He's heralded as the DbD encyclopedia, but that's gotta eat at the man at some point. He's ultimately just a player with frustrations, just like the rest of us.
Familiarity breeds contempt, and all that. Proportionally, one can only be amazed how he doesn't loathe DbD at this point.
