Tad ironic how OP has a Blight icon.

I don’t think that ever made it live.
Thus they completely reverted the change before it hit live.
-
Pyramid Head’s M2 inflicting Tormented.
-
Getting a grab. Can be done if you’re immediately behind them when they vault a pallet or medium-vault a window. And locker grabs, i guess, but a survivor forcing an Endurance hit isn’t going to enter a locker on purpose.
-
They'd need to significantly rework the status effect as a whole.
-
I’d still like to see Hellshire Penitentiary form Slinger’s lore some day.
Just any expansion on original 1-map or 2-map realms, really.
-
For aura's and scratches, I see no reason why not. They're supposed to stand out, after all.
-
Perhaps they could commissiom community artists to make banners and icons?
-
what?
surely you can spare a few seconds per match?
-
Did Pinhead have a lobby? I don’t remember
-
to answer the title, most likely yeah. The technology is here now, so they'd be squandering a lot of potential if they didn't do more with it.
-
Kinda missing one crucial gameplay detail there, bub.
plus how can you be surprised when it's a solo killer release
-
A new release.
A killer-only release.
are you really surprised?
-
They quite literally said they didn’t even have a design planned for Myers.
It’s obviously coming sometime after the anniversary.

Good point, fair enough. Problem: who said that killers are to be interpreted as "bad roles models" ? Some are even VERY humanized, where they kill just because the Entity says so but they'd be good people.
Says it right there on the tin.
Killers.
People that kill other people.
If that's somehow a role model to you, that's... disturbing, to say the least.

??

I mean, this stream was announced shortly after Chucky was revealed.
And a reliably source has told me GBK won’t be making a stream summaries anymore, so uh…
No excuse to miss out on this one, eh?
-
Calm Spirit has gained popularity because of it hard-countering Ultimate Weaon.
maybe that’s what is happening?
-
What Stockholm Syndrome nonsense is this??
-
Singularity is in an odd spot.
Without EMP's, he is hilariously oppressive, beating even Nurse with how quickly he can shut down chases.
But then, I also feel like Hux is more map-dependant than any other killer. He absolutely dominates on Midwich specifically, but struggles a lot on Rotten Fields, for example.
I'd say Singularity is the single hardest killer to play right now, but that's almost exclusively because of how much he has to fight his own EMP's.

There was a problem long before the visual heartbeat. The fact that the heartbeat sound comes from the exact position of the Killer has always bugged me. Just from hearing the heartbeat you know the exact direction the Killer is coming from. I always thought it was weird that the heartbeat wasn't more like Huntresses lullaby where it gets louder the closer they get but it doesn't actually pinpoint their location for you.
i am approaching 3k hours, and I've never noticed the TR itself is directional.
huh.
-
Yeah, kinda.
Just one of those things that affects the weaker killers more than the stronger ones, with practically no cost bound to it.
-
Did you know owls were considered an omen of doom? Should you hear one hooting, it supposedly meant disaster was imminent.
hooh…
-
I think it would be fair if you could shoot a survivor holding an EMP, destroying the EMP.
That way pickingn up an EMP on the fly is much riskier.
-
I'm not quite there yet, but I do kinda feel that.
To me, it's gotten to the point where as killer, it feels like I'm facing perks and even the map itself moreso than I am facing the survivors. Nothing is quite so exemplary of that as breakable walls. There's very few that offer interesting choices for the killer. Most of them are either "break this or it's an quasi-infinite" or "do not break this, ever". I'd go so far as to say that Midwich is the only map that does breakable walls right. Maybe Gideon too, even if those are for traversal reasons only.
New perks rarely break new ground, and it requires them being blatantly busted for them to see any regular use. Fair enough, but it does mean you see the same perks a lot. It also feels like there's simply too many of them.
There's also definitely a "new release fatigue". I've felt this since Dredge, I think. Too much, too soon after another. New releases are the lifeblood of the game, I get that, but it always feels like we barely got the Mid-Chapter before the next chapter is teased. It doesn't feel special anymore. Alien should have been a massive release, with a lasting impact, but now it feels like nothing more than "oh. cool." I fear the same applies to Chucky when he's been out for a while.
Lots of small touches are disappearing in favour of streamlining. The paint-blotch artstyle; strange, alien colour schemes in the maps; bland flavour texts (not just in cosmetics); the older killer models and portraits (old doc was way creepier); hell even the full on voice-acting. The latter especially never quite felt like it belongs, particularly on original characters such as Gabriel. It just feels like it's missing some kind of cohesion on an artistic level. Which can work, mind, but it just fails to, somehow.
I think a lot of the new stuff we're getting feels rushed, in a way. BHVR is an award-winning studio for their lack of crunch culture, which I have to admire. But then why do they have a release schedule that only feels suitable for a studio that crunches the manure out of their employees...?
Another addendum: I don't quite believe it started with the introduction of MMR, but the playerbase's attitude has definitely shifted as well. Everyone is at each other's throats quicker than ever before. Twitter is especially bad that way (which, admittedly, may just be twitter being twitter). I'm not innocent of it either, but man does it feel damn-near impossible to find a proper discussion that doesn't result in Whataboutisms or thinly veiled insults to the Side-I'm-Nots.
-
It won’t resolve tunnelling on its own, but it sure as hell doesn’t hurt. If nothing else, it hits the problematic tunnellers just a bit harder that way.
Provided that it’s still disabled in the end-game.
-
It isn’t. That’s the point.
The Killer needs to be an actual threat, and a slight bias in the killer’s favour is perfectly justified when you consider it’s supposed to be the power role.
This is not a matter of “balance”, this is a thematic matter.

Killer mains nowadays runs every possible broken and uncounterable perks (such as UW) and says: MfT is too broken 😓😭😭😭omg what is this FtP and Buckle up combo, pls nerf (they want stbfl buff btw) 😭😭😭😭😓 "I wish survivors would start to the trial on the hook with 4 percent unhooking chance 😏😑😤
Pretty sure there are plenty “killer mains” on here that say UW is overtuned.
nice Us vs Them tho
-
This doesn’t really seem a SM issue, tbh.
Remember you can just hold onto a gen and you won’t need to bother with the drones at all. They don’t scan you if you don’t move.
She still needs to push you off manually. And at that point… So does every other killer?
-
Twins are first, tho.
-
I'm betting on an original survivor.
Ain't no way they got that many high-key licenses back to back.
-
Both of these have always looked like that.
-
Aren't the protags of that series typically a teen? They'd need to age her up quite bit. Doable, I guess?
-
I mean, i can hardly consider myself a proper artist, let alone a DbD one.
But i’ve taken up drawing birbs in Microsoft Paint. What started as a guanopost turned into this
In order: European Robin, Atlantic Puffin, Mountain Bluebird, Common Raven, Australian Pelican, Barn Swallow

It says 21 at the end there, bub.

you guys love @me with empty messages, what is false champ ?
I will continue to report people writing "ggs <3", you can't stop me
You report people for nothing, and then you’re surprised your reports don’t do anything?
C’mon now. You can do better than that.

All reports do nothing in dbd tho, why not send it anyway it's free ? i'm not offended I just don't type gg if I win easily, very hard concept to grasp apparently
you never noticed most nurse/blight mains always type "ggs <3" after easy one sided games (with anime pfp 9/10 times) ? it's just taunting they dont mean it
That’s verifiably false.
in its entirety

You're entirely misunderstanding what's happening here.
In an online space, you cannot gauge how someone feels after an interaction. After a physical sports match, you can see it. You can feel the vibe, if you will. If you know you wiped the floor with someone, you're not gonna go "tough luck xxx". You'll shake hands or bow or whatever, and leave it at that. Nothing more. Which, might I add, is meaningless in itself. Because it's forced through the culture.
"GG" is the closest equivalent, but it's still nowhere close an implied social rule. There's no people looking down at you when you don't say GG. Especially in DbD, where there's 5 people max, most of which will have left long before it even becomes relevant, nobody gives a damn if the chatbox remains empty. Hell, well over half the playerbase can't even use it, period.
Why is it then that you're so hung up on someone not having the reponse you expect from them? They're under no rule, implied or otherwise, to return the gesture. This is not a sports match. You should be well-aware of that.
But it's you who is taking the time to write out the "tough map but you played well <3". Writing that out in itself is not the standard, so it stands out - it's going to be read as a meaningful phrase, and it will be read in whatever way the reader is feeling like. In an online space, where "<3" has taken on the meaning of an implied sarcastic tone, the message of "tough luck" then turns into a phrase of condecension.
Different cultures, different expectations.
Hello hi i am a person on the autistic spectrum with a fascination (and deeply rooted hatred) for implied social rules.

In those instances, I might, as previously stated say: that was a rough map but still wp <3
Yes, I even add a heart, if that's still condescending to people then GL in the real world jfc.
https://forums.bhvr.com/dead-by-daylight/discussion/comment/3585276#Comment_3585276
I thought that only hid it in pre-game lobby but not afterwards, but I might be mistaken. But thanks anyways.
Frankly, some people don't want your sympathy. Obviously it's impossible to tell if the person is gonna be like that, but you can't really be surprised that everyone has a different response to being met with "you tried <3" after a hard loss.
Since the phrase "gg" in itself has lost its meaning, it's often best to just leave it at that. Just a "gg", nothing more.
Or just leave quietly, so you don't inadvertently rub salt in the wound.
-
Saying “gg” on the winning side, especially after a landslide victory, can come across as condescending. Cause to them, it really wasn’t a “good” game.
Best to wait for the losing side to say “gg” first.
-
You can report anonymous players as per usual. Support needs the match ID and your player ID, so an in-game report is mandatory, and submitting a ticket significantly improves the odds of action being talen.
With video evidence, the rest can be inferred.

Again, almost like I said an option would be best.. So you know.. people with differing experiences can choose based on that. Nowhere did I say “This doesn’t happen to me soo it must not happen to anybody”.
But that doesn’t solve anything. It just moves the issue.
Because then those that hide their prestiges are gonna get dodged non-stop, regardless of their actual prestige level.
If you mean that the killer can choose to not see prestiges… those that dodge because of prestige are not gonna enable that, are they?
-
A third RE chapter would be a bit much imo. For SH, they kinda covered the main trilogy already.
ST has the most potential, I think. Provided Netflix lets them do another chapter.
-
I don’t like the trapper’s new default mask that he got with his model overhaul.
the left (his right) half went too far with the evil smile thing and it kinda lost the cold indifference the original had.

Some Jimmies will dodge for absolutely anything. This is nothing new.
just because you don’t get harassed that doesn’t mean others aren’t either. That’s silly.
-
Agreeing is not an interesting interaction.
-
Maybe? Hard to say, tbh.
Since Fortnite got to do more new skins for their ST collab recently, it’s not entirely out of the question.
It's a solid ‘maybe?’
-
Presumably the spring release will be original. Unsure about the solo survivor.
If patterns are to be believed, the summer release is also an original, followed by a licensed one. From there, it’s anyone’s guess.
-
Guess you'll be uninstalling then.
-
In theory, you can get them side-by-side when he goes live.
…you just gotta disable literally every paid dlc that released
