35.How should Circle of Healing be nerfed further? And is Shadow Step fine?
Easy.
Once the killer removes the Totem, it cannot be used again. Shadow Step could use the same nerf.

34.Why we’re you opposed to them and how are they still too much?
I enjoy the concept of Totems being exclusive to killers. The root of evil from which the Hag's curses brutally punished survivors over and over again. The root of evil from which the Huntress sinister Lullaby echoed. The root of evil that unleashed the Spirit's wrath over the haunted trial grounds...You got the idea.
As for the perk itself, it grants 100% bonus to all healing speeds and survivors can bless it indefinitely. Remember that the healing action itself was nerfed in the past in order to give killers more time. This effect is too much.

33.Boon perks were introduced they were called OP and needed nerfs. They were nerfed and still some say they’re too strong while some say they’re fine. Do they still need more changes?
Honestly, I don't even like their concept to begin with. And yes, they indeed had a clear potential of being OP.
So I would say yes, further changes are required.
-
It really can't.

It would be my pleasure.

Without a doubt I will fully support you on your journey, because I believe that you can potentially bring back or add...
Old Freddy.
Old map Designs with a bit more polish.
Even though Nemesis is fun, we need Nemesis to feel like Nemesis.
Potential Map, perk, addon balance, etc.
Good Events.
A lot less paywalls and ways to unlock stuff for free.
Make exclusives free to everyone.
Old animations with a bit more polish.
Maybe the old Hud.
Making killers that need buffs gets buffs.
May be controversial but have an option to turn off end game chat for PC, and a way for console players (like me) to also have a feature that can turn messages that you get from other DBD players off as well.
A lot of Custom features like 2v8, insta end-game collapse, just weird stuff like that.
And hopefully the last thing I need to say is just overall new game modes, quality of life improvements, just stuff like that, and have there be easier ways to detect and ban actual cheaters and hackers.
So ya this is probably all I have to say, now I could have a lot more features in my head I haven't thought of yet, but ya I think that's all I have to say.
Edit: Sorry I forgot to mention this but if I ever got a job or role at Behavior Interactive when I get older is that I would love making killer concepts, I absolutely love doing that stuff on the forums because it easily expresses creativity I had in mind which makes me feel a bit more confident, so if I ever got a role along side you basically becoming DBD's manager it would probably be a killer concept creator.
You...nailed it. I am really impressed.
I would indeed make those things happen, make DBD actually feel like DBD again.
Your support is much appreciated, my friend.
-
I play some other games and watch Old DBD content.
-
I spoke about it here in the Forums, but that was about it.
I don't play DBD anymore, so I am not supporting BHVR in any possible way. But that is all I can do.
-
I would face Old Legion a thousand times in a row if it meant returning to Old DBD.
-
Not from 2016, but I assure you that you will never meet someone as old fashioned as I am.
I booted up the game for the first time in December of 2018, roughly around Legion's release. That Winter theme alone was enough to send shivers down my spine.
The old maps, old powers...Old DBD in general was the best game I've ever played. Everything was way better than the disgusting mess that DBD is now.

32.Guardian use to be quite a worthless perk but now the killer can’t see your aura. And the rescued gets haste. Is it a worthwhile anti camp perk now?
Well, I would say it is only worth using if you are having a really bad time where you get camped left and right.
It is not that bad perk of a perk per say, but other meta options can make it way easier for you to escape the trial.

31.For the People small buff 30 second reduction should they consider this other perks as well?
Small, numerical changes are always better than full reworks.
If the devs want to consider buffing a perk, this is the type of change that should be kept in mind.

I'd be down. At this rate, we'll probably have to make an entire other forum though, lol.
Precisely :)

I think the community would pull together a great game. I mean God just look at the completely ignored otz mid chapter patch where he pulled together some of the communities most requested changes and fixes. That post has some of the best balancing ideas I've heard and it came from a combination of everyone
That is a great example. One of many, to be honest.
We can do it better. We can fix the Fog.

Don't worry, I'll be with you every step up the way!
Honestly, I do unironically think you could do a better job running the game than the devs. At the very least, I know you won't sacrifice the environment for some crypto-currency bullshit.
I assure you that things like NFTs would never be an option.
And besides, you know me. What I would like to change and how to handle things.

This is a much beefier version of the destiny summit. Where all the top content creators and best players come together to preview upcoming content and give feedback that's used to change stuff that's coming down the line. It's honestly how destiny with all of its issues has pumped out some the best changes to destiny
Indeed, I've heard about it before. Now imagine, as you said, a "beefier" version of it where the owners of the game came from the community itself.
Imagine what we could accomplish.

I want to be a forum manager, first thing I would do is change the icons. Its almost like subtle hinting on BHVRs part that the perk icon for optimization is This is Not Happening.
I would most certainly grant you that role.

@Tr1nity said:
I think a secondary team made up of representatives voted from the community would be a cool experiment, these people would kind of work at the office, getting small pay for their existance there, and they can speak on behalf of the community, if the devs want to change something, this person can talk about how that might reflect on the community, or perhaps, mention straight to the devs what the community would want. (Freddy re-rework, Billy re-buff, and a bunch of other things solvable by a VCS)
That is actually a good idea, not gonna lie.

it would be nice to give the community more control over the game. besides just kinda seeing as bhvr runs around doing whatever the hell they do, while sometimes leaving you in the
fogdark about whats happeningVery true. We need more transparency between devs and community.

HOLY CRAP you should be in game design
Buffing the ability while giving it solid counterplay, making the freddy a nightmare to go against, while still keeping the originality
Thank you, my friend, it means a lot.
Freddy is my favorite character, so I aimed for a perfect power.

How would you feel if Freddy was reverted back to his original power but he kept his Gen teleport? I think the teleportation was great cause it matches Freddy’s character.
Way ahead of ya, my friend.
I already have the full concept ready:
Pull survivors into the Dream World
-Survivors who are awake do not see The Nightmare.
-Once targeted by The Nightmare’s power, survivors enter the Dream Transition for 7 seconds.
-The Nightmare’s Movement Speed Penalty for putting a survivor into the Dream Transition lasts for 1 second.
-During the Dream Transition Survivors can see The Nightmare intermittently and they suffer from the Incapacitated status effect.
-When the Dream Transition Lapse, the Survivor is pulled into the Dream World.
Once in the Dream World:
-Survivor’s auras are revealed to The Nightmare when they are outside of his terror radius.
-Survivors suffer an action speed penalty of 40%.
-To exit the Dream World, Survivors can find non-sleeping Survivors to perform a wake up action.
-Failed Generator Skill Checks can also wake up.
-Hooked Survivors wake up.
Special Ability: Dream Projection
-Teleport to a Generator in view. Releasing the button early will cancel the action.
-Survivors cannot interact with the targeted Generator.
“You have nothing to worry about. This won’t hurt one… little… bit.” -Freddy Krueger

30.Onto the survivor perks we have Vigil already part of exhaustion builds mostly. Now includes more status affects and 30% recovery. Was this buff good?
Yes, it definitely was.
-
Nah, I don't think. I imagine that a damage control post is on its way, but thats about it.
As for the second question...I left the game for different reasons, and different things would be required for me to come back.
-
I don't think the game is dying per say, but recent events will deal a massive blow, that is for sure.
-
I doubt it would happen. Probably the only thing we will get is a post for damage control.
-
Now, more than ever, I really want to return to the past and pretend that nothing has happened.
-
Honestly? No, I would not.
Old DBD will always be my favorite game, and even if the current state is atrocious...I refuse to simply get rid of the game.
