Elongated wait times are the byproduct of a less than acceptable product...
COD has a 100 tier battle pass that is no where near the grind of this game. The product is good and the rewards aren’t recolored garbage and 8 of the same charm. If the product was better more people would play, simple as that

Other games dont have a battlepass that takes 200 hours. Thats a ######### punchline it blows my mind that people didnt get as mad about that as the ######### hud.
And yeah a lot of people, yourself included im sure spends way more than that on this game. But, thats not why its so long. BHVR doesn't give af about you spending 1000s of hours on this game they care about about the people who can't because those are the people who spend more money unlocking tiers. I afk'd every single rift yet and i will continue to do so as long as it takes anywhere near 100 hours

I got it first try and I play on Xbox. Find a low number streamer on twitch who gives everyone time to type in the code and then they give out the last 2-3 digits. Easy peasy

You're kidding right? have you even played on the new ormond? They didn’t just add a few changes and update graphics, they completely broke the map. It's now terrible. Impossible to win as survivor and boring as killer. It's WAY too open, bright, and there's a HUGE dead zone. It's just disgusting. Hope they'll fix this issue.
I honestly feel this way about all the new maps. I think they’re beautiful looking but the shadows are gone, the grass doesn’t hide anything anymore, and a lot of them just look barren and incomplete.

On the most recent rift there’s the challenge of fall from a great height 3 times while being chased and it has to be done in the same match. I struggled with this challenge and was getting frustrated until I got Hawkins as a map; I ended up getting it within the first 5 minutes. Gideon meat plant would probably be another good one as there’s several drops all over the place.

I don’t understand why this needs to be reworked or nerfed. I’m a killer main and they usually get me with it once but after that I think it’s easy to bait them to waste it and down them. Are people suggesting it’s op? Survivors have no weapons, you can’t take away everything from them.

Every so often I get a bully squad like you described. I’ve found the best strategy is to tunnel and camp the ever loving hell out of 1-2 people and then their bully fun is ruined. Most of the time these teams will always go for the saves or try and get you to chase them vs doing gens.
may the end of the day it’s just one of those things that happens occasionally, just have a short memory at the end of the day and move on to the next game.

I agree that it’s not fair how they did codes but I also feel really bad for streamers who BHVR put in a really ######### spot with this. The few streams I have watched before I got the charm just seemed over it with people trolling and asking over and over again for charm codes.

This might be a stupid question, but I have a question around the next gen consoles. Would you lose all dbd progress/cosmetics on Xbox and have to repurchase the game or would everything transfer over if you purchased the game digitally?

Not a slinger main but I just got wrecked by a rank 1 running monitor and abuse, pop, nurse’s calling, and sloppy. You could also add in bbq if you wanted it for additional tracking and/or BP. Personally, I’m pretty terrible with him lol

Thanks! I currently have all survivors and killers at 50 and am contemplating starting to prestige now vs. continuing to unlock perks. I have 1 killer and 1 survivor with all perks unlocked for rift challenges, testing builds, BP farming, etc.
i guess I need to start using some of these offerings before I prestige some of these characters! Thanks for the info, really appreciate it!

Random question on prestiging. When you prestige you lose all perks, but do you lose all accrued items too? Once you prestige do bloodwebs start over where you can get through them pretty quickly at lower levels or do they continue like higher levels where you need to put 35-40k BP in to move to the next level?

I’m still going to play and I’m not someone who is going to say time for me to quit playing the game, etc, etc.
ive been playing for weeks on Xbox during this test and it hasn’t gotten more accurate with killer or survivor when matchmaking.
im hopeful this improves in the near future

To say rank doesn’t matter anymore is just absurd, survivor or killer.
It may not matter in matchmaking, but someone who knows the maps, understands loops, spawn points, has teachable perks unlocked, etc. is going to obviously play better than someone who just started out. In fact, I’d wager that a higher rank player could take any killer in the game and 3k or 4K against a lot of these survivors. Even if they’ve never really played as that killer before they understand the basics of how to play the game and shut survivors down. On the flip side, a high level survivor can loop a lot of these killers for days based on prior xp. These lower level killers or those just starting out don’t have a chance against these high level survivors and get bullied all game.
The old matchmaking system wasn’t perfect, but at least you went up against those comparable in skill level the majority of the time.

They just corrected it and actually I think gave me more BP than the missing 450,000. Happy camper!

Yeah, I logged a ticket and they told me to restart, I did...no BP or IS. I’m hoping this gets resolved quickly as I’ve never had any issues with this before. As of this morning the ticket is still showing as open.

I opened a ticket yesterday on this, thus far no resolution. I spent 8,000 IS and should have gotten 600,000 BP. However, it took all 8,000 shards and I only got 150,000 BP. Hoping for a resolution soon on this as it seems to be happening to quite a few people based on twitter comments. I’m so glad it’s not just me having this issue.

I agree it sounds crazy, but...with the current matchmaking (especially on Xbox right now) it's a mess trying to play as survivor. Games are an absolute rainbow mix of ranks and before you know it half of the team is on death hook and there's still 4 gens remaining basically ending the game for the 2 remaining survivors. I LOVE the idea for killer as it allows for someone trying to learn a killer to not get absolutely destroyed by survivors if they're playing at high level, but as of now it doesn't translate to the survivor side. I look forward to seeing what BHVR does with this and the ranking system as a whole moving forward.

The argument I made in another post though is that mixing lower ranked players with red, purple, etc ranks doesn't allow for survivors to win. Many of these yellow ranks don't have the experience to play the game and understand all the nuances like some of these players who have hundreds (or thousands) of hours in this game. Matchmaking had some quirks before, but it made WAY more sense than what it does now.

Yes, I had the perks. I’m working on prestiging so I was purchasing again as I’ve done in prior weeks for the 150,000 BP each. For some reason this week I only got 150,000 instead of 600,000 when I purchased all 4
