I love using it on Legion. Frenzy tears through them leaving everyone injured. No one heals because why would you heal against Legion. Then a Gen lights up yellow and you suddenly know you have Off Brand Ghostface coming for you. Suddenly healing against Legion is looking pretty good.
Then... the Build also has M&A and Nurse's Calling so you try to heal but then you just light up like a Christmas tree for me to come and stab. Seriously I love this build.
-
No more Killers who's power is just... "Here's an insta down". The most obvious examples of this are Bubba and Hillbilly, but I would throw Oni, Ghost Face, and a Myers played "normally" in that bucket as well. Powers like that are just... not interesting or at least not to me.
-
Definitely Legion. Frenzy is basically a M1 where you're faster and can vault really well but can't down and the Deep Wound usually gives you the time you need to get your bog standard M1 downs.
Also I very much disagree with Wraith being a fantastic M1 killer for beginners. The guy is very add on dependent and has some pretty terrible teachables.
-
It really depends on what I'm in the mood for. Stealth? Myers. Gotta go fast? Blight. Aggressively control the game? Legion. Want to wreck some fools? Deathslinger. Defensively control the game? Demogorgon.
Funnily enough not a single one of those killers are on the same option as another.
-
Real terror in this game is Scratched Mirror Myers on Lerys or some other close in indoor map.
-
NOED absolutely does not need to go.
I will admit that it has a telegraphing problem, but that can get fixed.
Meanwhile, NOED is (almost) single handedly keeping the basic killer perk set from being complete garbage. It needs to keep doing that for the forseeable future until the Devs get around to making a lot less of those perks terrible. Like for real... are you expecting New Killers to somehow get value out of Iron Grip? Unrelenting? Distressing? Insidious? Monstrous Shrine? It just ain't gonna happen.
-
My first few games were in a KYF with some friends who got me into the game. I had played the tutorial so I had some idea of what I was doing. I started off on Survivor, ran Lithe, Lightweight, Premonition, 4th perk I can't remember and 100% ran away every single time Premonition went off. No idea how that game ended.
During that same KYF was also my first killer match. I had not played the Killer tutorial at this point so I had no idea lunging was a thing. I played as Trapper. We ended up on Ormond so I could not see my extra traps on the ground. I placed the one trap I started with in a random patch of grass and ended up stepping in it later. I distinctly remember there being one of said friends who I straight up could not catch and eventually gave up chasing. I did end up killing one of my friends who had been playing for a while so I figured I hadn't done too badly for my first game. Now I know that that friend very heavily relies on being Blendette... which doesn't work on Ormond.

Honestly fair enough, I'll reply in full when I get up tomorrow, but just wanted to say idfk why I thought Iron Maiden was a Huntress perk, my bad lmao
Honestly, it's probably because Iron Maiden is almost only used on Huntress. Doc can also use it well but you don't necessarily see that very often. That's probably what got you a bit confused. Whatever the reason, that's not a big deal.
-
I think they should go for Yellow Windstorm base, not Purple Windstorm base, but yes. That alone would go a long way toward making addonless Wraith not terrible.

Because people who use NOED rely on it as their safety net that's always there to save them, because most games, survivors don't do bones (for whatever reason, inner strength supremacy anyway).
Everyone is gonna be bodied by matchmaking, but the people who learn from it aren't the people who use perks that reward them doing bad. A baby killer could go into a game against all purple and red ranks, get a lucky down then camp the hook after being ran all game with NOED, they get a lucky snowball because some claudette decided the killer wasn't good enough to knock her down whilst she was rescuing in his face. Suddenly he gets a 3/4k and takes that away that he played well and NOED is a good perk. Being bodied by matchmaking should be a learning experience before it should be an excuse to use #########, broken perks (not just on the killer side, survivor side as well).
Unrelenting is the poor man's STBFL, whilst not as good, if you aren't running other obsession perks you know if someone has DS, and it isn't nearly as niche, providing a constant bonus, better than the learning curve obsession perks have at lower ranks.
Shadowborne is an amazing perk and is actually really useful! As a colourblind person, if bloodhound can fit in my build its surely welcome, and when I first started I found tracking scratch marks very difficult (not including my colour blindness, I can vaguely see fresh scratch marks on dark maps because they glow, on light maps it isnt as bad, there predator is useful.
Lullaby is actually surprisingly good up to about green ranks, good starter perk as it makes skill checks difficult. Iron Maiden is an amazing perk, it isn't given enough credit, at low ranks way too many people hide in lockers, good starter perk. Beast of prey is outright useless I can't argue there.
That first paragraph is hardcore generalizing. You literally have no idea whether the player who's bringing NOED is doing it because they hardcore rely on it or if they are doing it because they have zero viable perks to stop generators. Seriously the options for Gen slowdown for new killers is very poor. There's basically only Unnerving Presence which isn't great, Lullaby which falls off hard, and Thanatophobia which doesn't function on most killers.
That second paragraph is assuming that anyone using NOED is just about incapable of introspection. I've never once had a game where we got to Exit Gates powered where I thought I played particularly well, whether I am using NOED or not.
Unrelenting is not the poor man's STBFL. Unrelenting works on missed hits, STBFL works on hits that connect which lets the Survivors get less distance off of getting hit. Completely different. In theory, Unrelenting never ever helps you because you never miss. Granted theory is different than practice and you do sometimes miss, but it isn't often enough to make Unrelenting good.
I can't comment on how those perks help or don't help people with colorblindness because I am not. I am however going to say how they help (or don't help) me personally. In all honesty FoV should be an option slider and Shadowborn reworked to be something else. Blood Hound isn't terrible but I wouldn't call it fantastic. There's at least 3 tracking perks in the base set I'd pick over it. Predator on the other hand can actively hurt you because it makes it less likely that scratch marks will splash up onto trees and walls where you can see them from significantly farther away.
I'm aware that Lullaby is pretty good for awhile. When I started out as Killer I'd play Huntress with Whispers, Thrill, Lullaby, and... something else don't remember exactly. Problem is that Lullaby falls off and when it does, it falls off hard. Iron Maiden is a Legion teachable and not relevant to the current discussion. Huntress's other two perks are Territorial Imperative and Beast of Prey. TI could potentially get you a down in the basement which isn't bad, but it is 100% dead weight if the Survivors don't go in the Basement and kind of Dead Weight on low mobility killers. Beast of Prey is honestly hard handicapped due to being tied to Bloodlust 1. Having undetectable during chase is actually really good... but it getting reset whenever Bloodlust does makes it useless.

That's the thing though.
NOED is this massive safety net that just holds someone back from actually thinking through what they are doing!
I was a victim of bad matchmaking when I started killer but I pushed through, as much as NOED is strong at face value, it's a stupid perk and that was obvious to me from the start. Just use the killers best two teachable perks and unrelenting, bitter murmur for the other two slots.
Like that saying, you don't learn to walk the tightrope by relying on the net!
Who said they were relying on NOED? Who said they aren't playing normally as best they can and only packing NOED just in case matchmaking bodies them? Or because the base set of perks has exactly zero strong generator slowdown?
To modify your analogy, learning to walk a tight rope without a safety net is a terrible idea because you're new to this... you're going to mess up and it'd be nice if you didn't get crippled off of one mistake. Likewise, when you're new to killer, you're going to mess up and it'd be nice if you didn't get absolutely stomped for 1-2 mistakes that maybe weren't even particularly obvious.
Also, Unrelenting is garbage. Meanwhile, you've also got Wraith and Huntress as 2 of the 5 free killers who have basically zero good teachables between them. Lullaby is good against bad Survivors but the other 5 are bad.

@Chchchcheryl said:
I think NOED should be a token based obsession perk, for every time you down the obsession you gain a token for NOED (up to 4/5), the totem is up all match, you get a 1%, speed boost for every token, all match. When you hit someone (once NOED would trigger under normal conditions) they are immediately downed due to being exposed by NOED, you lose a token for every hit including hitting someone on a hook or an injured person.
This prevents NOED from becoming a bad killer's crutch perk that rewards being bad and punishes the killer for not trying if they have NOED (or being toxic, funny watching someone lose tokens hitting someone on hook).
Additionally, people who use DS are gonna be more than likely the people subject to being the centre of this perk which might drop its use rate.
The only issue I see is that the killer may tunnel the obsession, wait for pickup and tunnel again until max tokens, then kill them. But most things in this game are abusable to a degree so I don't know.
Here's the thing...
That is exactly what NOED is supposed to do. NOED is essentially the newbie killer's insurance policy against this game's terrible matchmaking. When I was new to Killer and was working my way up... I had plenty of games that ended and I was left asking myself "How on earth did Matchmaking let that go through?" Stuff like being rank 12 and going against 2 rank 4s and 2 rank 5s. Or rank 16 and going against a full set of rank 8-9 Survivors.
Now granted I didn't use NOED a ton... but that was more because I got Legion with my first 9k shards. If your Survivors are healthy when you hit late game as Legion, something has gone terribly wrong. So getting insta downs at the end is... not super useful for them. However you better believe I ran it the first few times I tried to make Wraith work. Like seriously... what else are you even going to run on Wraith with no Teachables? Like... Sloppy + NOED + Whispers + Bitter Murmur is basically your only decent option.
Once you start getting the perks you need to build synergies in your build, NOED use naturally drops off because the things that synergize with it are all... kind of terrible and hidden away on Freddy's teachables. But it being potentially available from the word go and bringing a lot of power from a single perk slot is really good for new killers who don't have what they need to build those strong synergies yet.
-
I think it should be left alone until the other absolute potato perks in the Killers base set get buffed. You can hate on it all you want, but the fact of the matter is that NOED is the only really strong perk available to new killers.
-
Legion, Deathslinger, Nurse, and Blight are my favorites to go against. Unfortunately Blight and Nurse are super rare.
-
Overall I really like this concept. I do have 2 concerns about it.
First, I think you need to change your reduce search time add-ons to be percentages instead of hard numbers. Otherwise you've got stuff like a Satchel with a Shiny Zipper being able to be searched instantly. I do not believe that was intended.
Second, is more to do with Survivor Bloodwebs than the actual idea. Bloodwebs are already kind of watered down and difficult to find the one add-on you actually want. As cool as your backpacks are, they'd make it worse. Any new items might have to happen after something is done about that.

what do you mean 135%?????? i said 5.4 so it's 110%
Survivors run at 4 m/s.
110% killers like Huntress, Hag, and Deathslinger run at 4.4 m/s.
most of the rest run at 115% which is 4.6 m/s.
For more context, Legion in Frenzy runs at 5.2 m/s which is 130%.
Even if Survivors ran at 5 m/s (which they don't), your numbers would still be wrong because a 110% Killer would be running at 5.5 m/s.
That said, if all that happened is you getting confused about how fast Survivors run, then he sounds reasonable as a 110% or 4.4 m/s Killer.

Exactly. Like ok I understand spirit, maybe they're not that experienced, but cmon, hag and deathslinger? Do people genuinely have trouble against these two? Apparently so lol, a lot of entitled survivor mains here complain about hag a lot I just found it. And deathsli get imo is one of the worst killers in the game.
From my experience, most Survivors seem to not realize you can make plays while Deathslinger is reeling you. So they see that they can't really react to a Slinger who can quick fire and cry foul.
-
- Plague. Don't like how she completely negates any kind of faster healing stuff you bring into the trial. Also just... in general making any sort of plays against her is nearly impossible once you get infected unless you are willing to give her corrupt purge.
- Spirit. Don't like how she's the only Killer who gives zero indication that her power is active. Literally everyone else has a sound cue or animation change or something to let you know what's going on.
- Doctor. I personally don't mind him, but several of my friends strongly dislike playing against him because he sets off their anxiety really badly.
-
So... like... you've got this guy being a 135% movespeed killer with a 24m terror radius, when the standard is 115% with 32m terror radius. That's kind of crazy base stats alone... but I don't really see any sort of downside to balance that out.
Am I missing something?
-
Deep Wound does matter. It's not really a threat but it does matter. You mention that you can just run Sloppy to add healing time. You can do that, but here's the thing. Mending takes 12 seconds while Sloppy only adds 3.2 seconds to the standard heal time. That's (almost) 4x longer.
Don't view Deep Wound as lethality, view it as slowdown and it looks a whole lot better. Deep Wound is literally the only reason Legion works as a Killer. Otherwise their downs would simply take way too long.
-
It'd have to be more than double. Survivor Pudding is double the BP and has no downside.
-
I'd rather they add in better and easier methods of filling up your Survival pool. Nobody wants or should have to wait for you to go through all of Hook Stage 2. I mean, what they could do is just add in a new score event that triggers when you skip stage 2 and it gives you the survival points you would have gotten via struggling.
Yeah... I'm gonna go with that. New score event that gives 900 BP in Survival which is the max you can get for struggling. It triggers whenever the game would forcibly prevent the Struggle phase from happening. You get your BP, and no one else needs to wait out your struggle timer.

I am not selfish. I am fairly altruistic Survivor using Kindred who rescues his hooked friends when others are very busy.
This discussion was started because of one particular game where I had Kindred, others were agitated to get hooks, plague was messing around the hook, I was broken and had no Dead Hard and Borrowed Time. Trying to save that guy would most likely result in me getting downed or her starting to slug with Infectious Fright.
I think I did my best. I repaired Gens when others got tunelled. I didn't go for a very risky rescue against camping Plague bcs it was too dangerous and bcs I saw others who are healthy and can take a rescue with lesser risks.
I should have written more details about the match. I was too emotional.
From your description of the game, it sounds like you made the right call for both your and your team's survival. Problem is that the Emblem System has no way of knowing you ended up against a Killer who was camping. All it sees is you with nearly no unhooks and nearly no chase time and rates you accordingly. That's not good, but let's just say there's a reason why the Devs are working on a system to mostly replace the Emblems. Hopefully it'll pan out better.
-
I mean... the emblem system tells you what it thinks you did wrong.
You got Bronze for both the Benevolent and Chaser emblems. Meaning you needed to do more unhooking and healing your teammates for the Benevolent emblem and got in more chases that went better for you for the Chaser emblem. If you want specifics, you can mouse over the emblems and the game will tell you what you get (and lose) points for.
-
Absolutely not.
Pallets are already not particularly strong against Hillbilly because he can break them so fast. Weakening them further vs him would be a terrible plan.
-
Currently I'd say not fantastic. After the Midchapter patch where Undying lets Devour keep its stacks I'd say pretty solid assuming you're good at tracking since you haven't got any tracking perks. I am also not sure I'm convinced by Enduring. I'm pretty sure nearly everyone knows that you need to pre drop pallets vs Clown which would mean you aren't getting stunned by them.
I'd replace Enduring for BBQ or Save the Best for Last.

Check yui kimura perk for not leaving blood or just no mither
Fun fact, unless the Spirit is running Father's Glasses (iri addon), she can't see your blood while phasing. That makes anti bleeding perks less useful vs Spirit. You'd be better off with Dance With Me, Deception, Poised, Distortion, and maybe even Lightweight because they mess with your scratch marks.
-
If the new UI wasn't as spread out as it is, it would honestly better than the current one for a multitude of reasons.
-
I don't know about your Barb's Glasses change. Blindness is just... not a very powerful effect. I honestly wouldn't be sad if he had zero addons that caused blindness. Though... it is better as a Yellow than how it is now as a Green.
I think I would prefer current Thorny Vines over your Thorny Vines. In my experience, since standing on a portal inflicts oblivious at base, Survivors almost never cleanse portals while injured. That means that you'd almost never inflict deep wounds. Also... once people know you have it they won't cleanse portals while injured. That might seem like an upside but sometimes you really want them to break your portals. Also, you'll only get it once per survivor at most and once per game vs SWFs.
I like your version of Leprose Lichen... but if Demo could just spin his camera while travelling, I'd also really like the current one. So... I'm not sure I want it replaced? Idk.
-
I honestly don't think its a BP issue. The starting loadouts you can run as Killer are, in a word, terrible.
Trapper and Wraith need add ons. Billy is somewhat difficult and got nerfed. Huntress is also somewhat difficult. Nurse is CRAZY difficult. Distressing, Insidious, Iron Grasp, Monstrous Shrine, and Unrelenting are all garbage. Even further... Unnerving Presence, Predator, Bloodhound, Beast of Prey, Territorial Imperative, Huntress Lullaby, and sort of Stridor are also bad.
I think more people would play Killer if Legion was free and they buffed/reworked slightly those 5 basic perks first. Then those 7 teachables.
-
It does kind of depend on how lucid the Killers are to be honest. It is entirely possible the Entity has twisted Legion's mind so badly that they don't recognize Jeff or Ormond. Though, I imagine that if they were lucid, Frank (nothing says it was Frank, but it probably was) would recognize the guy he commissioned to paint the Legion mural. Don't know about the others.
-
I think they should be base.
If you are the last Survivor and are down with the Killer on you, you are basically completely at his Mercy anyway. Might as well let them end the game with style if they want. The only time you aren't completely at his mercy is in situations that I personally don't think should happen anyway, so yeah. Yellow Mori base.
-
Yes Definitely. Adrenaline is by far my least favorite Survivor perk to play against.
I honestly very much enjoy how scrappy the game can get after all Gens are done, the killer has one on hook/down and the other 2-3 Survivors are trying to save them. Adrenaline has a tendency to completely and totally bypass that entire section of the game. The worst one I had was a game on Lerys as Pig. I got a down on Steve a fraction of a second before the last Generator got done. So instead of him being down and about to get hooked, he's instantly back in the injured state and running faster than me for 5 seconds while I'm still wiping my weapon.
I'm just glad that people don't run it very often because it is very inconsistent.
-
Top 4:
Legion: I like their speed, vaulting, and slowdown baked into their kit. Also I seem to like Killers who have both really intense strengths and weaknesses. Legion's got arguably the best 1v4 game out of any Killer, but their 1v1 is kind of trash. So I find building around those strengths and weaknesses very interesting.
Deathslinger: The redeemer and chain mechanics are fun to play with. Also Deathslinger is kind of the polar opposite of Legion where his 1v1 is scary good but his 1v4 is probably the worst. That gives me a much different build problem to solve than Legion which I like.
Myers: EW 1 Myers is the most stealthy Killer in the game and is downright fantastic. However, you do run into groups who know how to beat Stealth but... Myers has a backup plan. A really really powerful backup plan.
Blight: WEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!
Bottom 3:
Billy: I cannot control that chainsaw of his. Don't know why, but I just can't.
The Twins: I thought they looked really interesting to play as. However they don't have some options that I honestly think they should. Not having those options sometimes leaves you playing kind of scummy even if you didn't want to.
Ghostface: Honestly when I'm playing him, I don't feel like a stealth Killer. It feels like I'm playing a weird game of peekaboo with the Survivors until I insta down them.
-
The key to doing this challenge isn't smashing your way through everything asap. You can't kick things if the Survivors haven't given you things to kick. On the flip side though, you can't kick anything once the game is over. Winning too fast or losing too fast both can spell doom for your challenge attempt, so you need a long game. The method I found to do this in a normal, non farming game, is to play in such a way that drastically slows down the Survivors but almost can't snowball out of control.
More specifically, I used Stealth Slinger. M&A + Marshall's Badge = 12m TR while you are aiming down sights. Add in Surveillance and Nurse's Calling so you know where to be and one other perk I forgot (sloppy maybe?) and be more than willing to Spear and Stab people and leave. With that, you have the perfect setup for making the Survivors downright paranoid at all times. You keep practically showing up out of no where so nobody's going to want to do Gens injured, but injuring them off your spear takes them out of the game for over 30s. Gives you plenty of time to go kick their gen and then find them again or somebody else. On the flip side, just about everything Deathslinger does is already slow and approaching a gen you know someone is on while holding ADS makes it worse so unless the Survivors play exceptionally poorly, you aren't going to kill them quickly. That should give you the long, kind of grindy game that this challenge requires.
-
It was a full backpack build, but Mad Grit ended up being the MVP in one particular match that ended with all 4 Survivors hooked in the basement with 4 gens left.

Can someone explain what was legion like in the past and what made them need changing? Also whats wrong with him now that make him bad.
I didn't experience first hand, but... there were two major things that were wrong with them.
For a while, instead of Deep Wound timer pausing if you were running, it would pause if you were in Chase. So one... fun bit of shenanigans was Legion players running Bloodhound, Frenzy stabbing someone, then moonwalking at them which would break chase and Deep Wound would tick down but since Legion was still after them, they couldn't stop to mend or they'd get M1'd and go down.
The other thing was that Legion used to only need like 15% of their power bar to start Frenzy and they could reduce Deep Wound timers by Frenzy Stabbing with their base kit. This meant Legion could just... keep following, popping Frenzy, Stab, Cool down, recharge, repeat. Since Legion was 5.28 M/S and could fast vault in Frenzy, the Survivor couldn't really do anything about it.
Neither of these tactics were particularly strong since they took so long to down but they were 100% guaranteed downs, which wasn't good.
-
I think it has to do with the fact that Legion is mostly fine. They have some weirdness with losing their power bar that probably needs to get changed and some addons that need work... but they're mostly fine.
Clown, Trapper, and Wraith all needed help more urgently so I don't feel bad at all that they got attention this midchapter patch over Legion.

I mean don't get me wrong I like this game, it can just be so frustrating at times, and as a killer main survivors can be real douchebags
That's very fair, and true. I will say it helps a ton to find a Killer/Build that really fits you that you basically have fun with no matter what. Currently I've been loving playing Myers who stays in T1 for like... 80% of the game on purpose. Can't get enough of popping around a corner and suddenly stabbing a Survivor on a gen or healing who had zero idea I was there.
-
No?
I wouldn't still be here if I didn't enjoy it. Yeah there's some parts of it that are bad and need work, but... there's new interesting content and they are getting around to fixing bad perks now which is great. In my opinion overall the game is going in the right direction.
Honestly if you aren't enjoying the game... stop playing. Your time and attention is too precious to spend it on things you don't like. If you don't like the game, I would strongly recommend finding a game or hobby you do like and spend time with that.

Sprint burst, Borrowed time, Adrenaline, Unbreakable vs Enduring, Tinkerer, Nurse's calling and Thana/Brutal strength. Seems fair
Enduring and Brutal Strength are both good, but they are not meta. They're probably on a similar level as We'll Make it, Spine Chill, and Botany Knowledge. Good but not the best.
Tinkerer is meta but more because of its synergy with Ruin/Undying than by its own Merits.
Nurses and Thana are also not meta and Thana in particular is not great outside of a few killers/playstyles.
Seriously... the Killer meta is BBQ, Ruin, Undying, Tinkerer. That's on 1 paid Killer, 2 different shard Killers, and 1 free Killer. Prior to that, the meta was BBQ, Corrupt, Pop, and then whatever. That's 1 paid, 2 different shard, and one unknown.
Over on the Survivor side, the Meta has been DH/SB, DS, UB, BT/Adren since I've started the game. The only one of those 4 perks not on a free Survivor is DS.
Like... you're just wrong. It is way way easier to get the meta perks on Survivor than on Killer.

Agreed on the sniping part.
I do the same btw. I really enjoy watching games from the Surv POV afterwards
I do too. Its a good time. It also can be very entertaining watching them get super salty over something that was their fault.
-
I have theories as to why.
- Cross play. I've heard enough people complain about it to know that Console optomization is pretty terrible and that it hurts Killers way more than Survivors. So... when Cross Play happened a whole lot more Survivors joined the pool and not that many Killers.
- The 5 free Killers are not new Survivor friendly. Trapper and Wraith are very add on dependent. Huntress and Billy are somewhat difficult. Nurse is crazy difficult. DbD seriously needs to have Legion join the ranks of free Killers.
- Both the base set of Killer perks and the BP only Killer perks are... not great. There's some decent ones here and there but... they're not amazing and there's very few Meta perks in either of those sets. Now, compare that to what Survivors have. Vault Build is meta adjacent and the core of it are 2 basic Survivor perks. They can get nearly a meta build by just maxing Bill and Meg.
#1 means we got a deluge of "new" survivors, and 2 and 3 go a long way to making people who try Killer give up pretty quickly.
-
Are you asking if I've stream sniped people?
No. That's super scummy.
I have however saved their Twitch name to try and watch the game from their PoV later on. Some mistakes are way more obvious when viewed from the Survivors perspective so its useful.
-
The people saying OoO is like Spine Chill vs stealth killers is bothering me slightly. Spine Chills is the Killer looking at you not you looking at the Killer. OoO vs Stealth is more like an always on Premonition.
But yeah, I'd say don't use OoO in Solo. It can work, but you are likely to get targeted by the Killer because they don't know you aren't in a SWF and feeding your mates info constantly.

Haha yeah ironically a hate-based tier list wouldn't look too different to a normal tier list in this regard.
Freddy would probably be up there, too.
I don't know about that. Nurse and Blight are both very powerful, but I don't think most people hate them. On the flip side, I know Deathslinger would probably land in the top 3 on that list but he's middle of the pack strength wise.
-
I'm a killer main. Pretty much the only time I play Survivor is if some of my friends are down to SWF or KYF.
-
As a killer main, it is my 3rd least favorite Survivor perk to go against behind Adrenaline and Object of Obsession. Yes... I'd rather face DS, UB, BT, and DH over Prove Thyself. Those first 3 can be played around by just not playing scummy and Dead Hard somewhat frequently results in nothing because the Survivors got caught in literally the middle of nowhere.
Prove Thyself turns one of your Survivors into significantly more of a threat than your other 3 and you have zero clue that its in the game other than maybe a vague sense that the Generators are going too fast. Even if you do realize its probably in the game... well at that point it is probably too late to try to counter it AND you probably don't know which survivor has it, so countering it on purpose is almost impossible.

My guess would be a combo of pretty much every Myers player waiting to pop T3 when they're about to get a hit to turn it into a down and T3's longer lunge messing with them. Or the Exposed effect makes them try to play immersed when they are really *really* bad at that. Maybe you've got a bunch of teammates who are too reliant on Dead Hard and EW 3 bypasses that completely if they're healthy?
I don't know... I'm mostly making things up. I think they're sensible but they are guesses.
