The lore doesn't mention about the trickster been gay, straight etc etc, nothing is mentioned, I feel just think as you wish when it comes to his sexuality as a lot have done with various characters.
I am more disappointed no new map -.-
We are not getting a new map until they finish doing all the reworks.

I don't recall them EVER using the word "focus".

It's 80% bloodlust. That doesn't allow you to chain tiles when you add actual bloodlust to that.
You shouldn't be chaining tiles during the end-game collapse. You should be hiding or getting the hell out.

You forgot the 4% movement speed increase. That's almost a tier of bloodlust before the chase has begun. That's huge.
I didn't forget. It's just negligible. It is not huge, and people have run tests to see the differences these speed boosts make. This is half a bloodlust, and bloodlust itself saves approximately 3 seconds on the longest straightaway in the game.
The only situation where this is going to be noticeable is if you are trying to loop for an extended period of time.
-
Doesn't this perk last a whopping 4 seconds?

Ok I will admit and say sorry for not reading clearly.
I'm sorry if I'm coming off a bit strong I just don't want toxicity from any side, either it be killer or survivor.
Easily forgiven. We're good. :)
Toxicity on both sides is a thing. My central point is that said toxicity is NOT EQUAL by any measure and is as lopsided as all BAD WORD. Especially when it comes to attacking other players in end game chat.

There is always an equivalent, both sides can be just as toxic as the other. And just because you’ve never been attacked by a killer doesn’t mean other have.
There is? Awesome. Prove it.
Dead By Daylight and horror games enthusiastHere is a Youtuber that has dedicated his channel to collecting Survivor Salt. Lots of it. Death threats, hostile PSN messages, the works.
Now, support your argument. Show me a Youtuber that has dedicated their channel to collecting Killer salt.
If you can't, then your "there is always an equivalent" argument is false.
Also, I refer you to my previous statement I made to dspaceman20 . I never said Killers never do it, I said I believe people that anecdotally say they have. So I am now asking YOU as well to please read my previous posts before making false statements about them.

You can't just use your own experiences to say that it doesn't happen at all. A lot of people experience things you didn't but that doesn't mean it dosen't happen.
I didn't say it doesn't happen at all. I, in fact, said I believe people that say it has happened to them anecdotally. Please read my previous posts before you make a false claim about my statements.
I said it happens so rarely that there isn't even enough comparable evidence to put it side by side with the Survivor equivalent.

Consider yourself lucky then. They can be rotten and malicious asf, and often.
Then again, when you're playing killer you can't really experience another killer in the chat.
I'm not a Killer main, if that is what you are implying.

But you have to mention everything and not just look at the part. By not mentioning that killers do it too you perpetuate an unreasonable idea that killers can do no wrong while survivors are just this terrible awful thing. Which is bad and cause problems.
Okay. I'll mention everything. Here is a screenshot I made in my Paint program of all the nasty comments I have gotten from Killers totally unprovoked:

Killers are not likely to type at the end because they are isolated. But they show their toxicness in game as much as survivors from what I have seen.
Killers are not played by aliens. Like survivors they are humans who would go wild if they played in a team because they are not alone. I mean who will stand up for the killer at the end chat?
I would agree with most of that, sure. I know when I get mad as a Killer in end-game chat I just hit CONTINUE and move on. So you are probably right about the isolation factor.
-
@Kellie said:

How can you say they're not the same when Killers can literally have an ego and make up excuses in end-game chat as well.
I've never been attacked by a Killer in end-game chat. Not once. Not ever. Killers simply do not spew vile comments in end-game chat with the frequency of Survivors. I believe people that anecdotally say it happens, but it's so rare it's not worth mentioning. Meanwhile, Survivor ego is so insanely out of control that their end game salt could carry an entire pretzel company and there are Youtubers that dedicate their entire channel to collecting and displaying all the insane end-game reactions they get from salty Survivors. There is no such Killer equivalent.
-
@Kellie said:
Can't the same thing go for the entire community?
If the end-game reactions were the same, sure.
But they're not.
-
Why should a Killer leave the hook though? Every whiny Survivor fails to answer this question. You all want more gameplay time, but you think that has to come at the expense of the Killer playing abjectly stupid.
This goes double if the other Survivors have been giving him a hard time. Do I want to really go after that Ace that looped me for two minutes and hit me in the face with four pallets? Not really. You could GIT GUD me all you want for that reasoning but it doesn't change the fact that the camping in that scenario is an objectively better idea and you'll need a viable alternative to it in order for the Killer player to leave in that scenario, and teabagging ain't it, chief.
-
No, it's fine.
What they NEED to do is reduce the price of EVERYTHING in the bloodweb so the grind is less painful. We keep punishing new players harder and harder with every new chapter and they've done nothing to ease the burden.
I say chop down every item in the web by 2000 blood. That would make the cheapest item (browns) 1000 bloodpoints and the most expensive (Iridescents) 5000 bloodpoints.
-
Because BT was not meant to ensure a Safe Unhook it was meant to counter camping.

Do you know noed increase the killer velocity, don’t you?
Yes, and I don't care. It's like 4%.
It amazes me how much people whine about a perk that literally does nothing, totally nothing, absolutely nothing, until after the Survivors have completed all of their objectives are literally heading for the exit.

Pyramid Head shouldn't be able to move the same speed while dragging a trail along with him. It just allows him to be able to use the long range attack mid chase from behind you and still catch up with the killer movement speed. Along with not being slowed down while dragging a trail, he doesn't have much/ if any of a cooldown from dragging his sword, Using the power in a no brain matter doesn't have any consequences for them so it just promotes brainless hitting strats that require no complex thinking from the killers mind.
You ARE slowed down while dragging the trail.

Why are you being aggressive. Why are you being dismissive assuming that I bring those perks? As a matter of fact I never do because they don't provide me any fun.
https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/1985226#Comment_1985226
Yes, since more skillful killers don't even want to reach the endgame they bring in better perks. But just because skillful players don't need it... does that make it fair for other players? Not everyone is a red rank...
If you admit the perk is not needed, then obviously it isn't so powerful as to require a nerf.

Are you seriously ignoring 4% Movement Speed? The Movement Speed is probably more problematic than the Instadown.
@Topic:
Yes, it is unhealthy. They either should rework it to a Perk which helps Killers who did well during the game, but does little to nothing to those who failed the whole match OR at the very, very least give a Totem Counter. If I know that there is only 1 Totem left, I am more inclined to search for it than when I have to guess how many Totems are left and have to check every Totem Spot, just to find out that there is still the best hidden Totem left, which turns into NOED.
Yes, I am seriously ignoring the 4% movement speed.

I agree. At current state wasting time cleansing a dull totem instead of doing a gen is pointless.
https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/1985156#Comment_1985156
Yes I agree but please don't turn this into a survivor/killer war. DS has it's issues and it's being looked at. On this discussion I wanted touch on NOED.
https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/1985164#Comment_1985164
It just seems pretty strange that I have to equip two perks and bring a map to counter ONE perk...
https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/1985172#Comment_1985172
I agree. Sometimes even having done most totems is worse! Because now NOED is in the corner of the map somewhere.
https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/1985176#Comment_1985176
Are players really worried about doing totems though? Are they though? Do you think there are enough incentives to cleansing totems except for a potential NOED?
https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/1985150#Comment_1985150
I am pretty sure NOED is WAAAAAY more useful than you make it sound.
If that were true it would be on every red rank killer's load out. Obviously this is not the case.
-
Here's Objective:
The perk does nothing except to endanger one-shotting survivors already in the Healthy State, that get found, and hit, and don't make it to the hatch.
Situations where NOED does nothing:
- Against already injured people.
- Games that end before gens are completed.
- Games where you don't reach any survivors before the gates
NOED hate is from bad players that can't avoid the Killer at end game, especially those that rely on Adrenaline as a "crutch".

Franklins is a good counter to many of these "issues", especially to one of the most hated items by the community, keys. Also they are being reworked already.
Franklin's does NOT solve the key problem. The keybearer runs behind the tiny L wall in the corner, tells the entire team in Discord where it is, and then sets it on the ground.
Your Franklin's is now useless, unless you are camping the hatch.

And by that I meant, a huntress using iri head + soldiers belt or other powerful addons while hitting survivors on hook to get them to DC. I have already mentioned in the past that all of the strategies listed above I do when necessary and I don't have a huge problem with them.
Anyone who DC's because they were getting hit on hook, an action that has no impact on gameplay at all, deserves their DC and should not be taken seriously.

No, I think it would make the killer play really toxic to get someone to rage quit.

How can they be compared to tunneling, camping, or slugging? They are just limited items and have been nerfed.
Totally scummy. Undoing my hits, hacking the gen speeds, toxically blinding the killer so he can't play!

What is the definition of fair in this context?

I actually don't know, but I do know a killer who tunnels, camps, or slugs, is a toxic killer.
Why? By whose say so? YOU?
These sorts of posts are why this meme endures:
-
@[Deleted User] said:
You should never do any of those filthy tactics. They're unfair and painful when you're on the other side. Just don't do it, the survivors need to have fun too.
Why are killers obligated to play by your rules?
-
It should just be 4K, honestly. The Killer ones are way harder than Survivor. Hell, you can hatch out as a Survivor.
-
The word I would change Exposed to cannot be said on this forum.
-
Keys should be removed from the game. You should not be allowed to bypass the game objective like that.
Imagine if there was an item that a Killer could click on that instantly killed all four Survivors at once and won him the game just because too many generators got done.
It would be like NOED on crack.
-
"Why is no one doing gens?!" is the most relatable thing.
I can run a killer for a full minute, and then see the time it takes him to pick me up, and walk to a hook, and then looked up to see we are still at 5 gens. Why?! What are three fully healthy survivors even DOING?
-
How can you possibly say this with a straight face when Freddy exists?
-
I have yet to hear a form of punishment that would not actually make the game worse.
-
The DLC of my dreams would be A Nightmare on Elm Street redone properly.
With Robert Englund doing voice work, and using his likenesses from the first 6 movies. Not only would this be far more fun in terms of gameplay, but we'd open up a lot more cosmetics.
And we'd get a proper Survivor like Alice or John Doe or Jesse.
-
@Kellie said:

It's not fair, both of them are incomparable. When the devs finally balance out loops, they're gonna remove bloodlust from the game and guess whats gonna happen to exhaustion perks. They're gonna stay.
"When devs finally balance out loops..."
So, never.

@Kellie said:

That’s not how it works, those perks are temporarily used in chase. Bloodlust last forever.
Get bloodlust to go off, then the next time the Survivor drops a pallet, kick it. Tell me what happens.
-
Yes, but Ruin itself came about BECAUSE of a need to combat genrushing. You'd chase someone off a gen, do 30 seconds in the chase, and then circle back and finish it.
There needs to be a wider variety of ways to handle gen pressure, but this is impossible to balance because every killer pressures gen differently. What might be balanced for Trapper because god-tier on a Nurse.
-
The number of people that this thread is whooshing right over the head of is unreal.

I really don't want match set-up to take longer than it already does.

Bbq should only get stacks after KILLING a survivor, that's more fair because wglf is very hard to get 4 stacks.
And yes Ggtw also needs a a Last change. (I Made a thread about that, Buff it to 60 sec. but it only Regress 15%).
Lightborn is ok.
I know this person is banned, but I still want to say this statement is silly.
You can unhook someone and then immediately take a Protection Hit and that's 50% of your WGLF stacks right there.
