I have a lot of T-bags today.
To you who T-bag like the mentally #########, yes you, I sincerely hope that your life is miserable. Or that it will become.
-
Between the Autohaven bus bug and The Game, which became "Palettes Land", things are starting to get heavy.
-
Magnificent.
Insta-DC if I come across this map.
-
Okay. In return, I want an option that prohibits SWF from playing against me.
-
I also appreciate this update.
There are problems to be set, yes (such as the number of pallets on The Game). But I like the new animations of the survivors. I play MMORPG, so I'm used to looking at every corner of the screen to get some information. Therefore, although I agree that the HUD is too scattered, I like it. The new Clown amuses me a lot. I like the new maps.
In short, it didn't turn my life too much upside down.

But does it still feel satisfying?
https://youtu.be/c49bZQ3a2UA watch from 14:10 for more info!
Being a killer main, I'm not going to complain that some form of toxicity in survivors is lessened. So yes, it's more satisfying for me.
-
The T-bag has become slower, less fluid, and less "credible".
It's perfect.

Your connection might be fine but steam or DBD itself might have had a hiccup.
However there is a known hack that freezes killers in animations but it doesn't usually cause them to get ejected from the game so I doubt that is what happened, and if your connection was fine then that means it wasn't anything that serious.
Just bad luck most likely.
I had this hacking today. Unable to hang a single survivor, my killer was blocked at every attempt.

Mostly fun, definitely much more fun than swf (although for different reasons than most would think).
SWF is boring. Everything is calculated in advance, you always know what's going on. No surprises, always the same games that repeat themselves tirelessly ...

Also the terminator, slenderman, tall man, zombie (walking dead), springtrap, all viable. Chucky is also 100% viable despite what the haters say, victor proves that. These two images show how he could hook, only in the second one he would have to fling them by the feet instead of head first to get them on the hook.

Slenderman is not a killer.

My SoloQ games are very enjoyable for the most part. I manage to pass good games 6 to 8 times out of 10.
-
The headless rider of Sleepy Hollow.
-
I don't care which survivor skin T-bag me. The moment a survivor T-bag me, I roll my eyes, sigh, and I'm like 《Another person as bright as a black hole》.

I totally understand your point on swf sucking the fun out of playing killer. I started out back in 2017 and it was super frustrating at times, but really rewarding when everything finally started to come together as I improved. I've never been scared to take a loss. I never took playing any game serious enough to worry about 4ks or kills. As long as I get bloodpoints and have fun, that's all I care about. You can lobby dodge all you want, that's none of my business how you want to play the game you bought. I will stand by my point though, you will improve faster by going against good players than bad players. Good luck in your games
I am not new. But, I only play "weak" killers. I have fun with the Trapper, the Wraith, the Pig, the Demogorgon, the Clown. Stronger killers, like the Spirit, the Nurse or the Hillbilly don't amuse me. And I like to play with all the advantages, not just the strong ones.
You will understand that under these circumstances I can hardly do anything about SWF.
-
I spend the part crouching in a corner ...
Yep. I do not know where you get that "information". It's called extrapolation, budy. A new word that you can happily take out to your mistress to have a post-it.
I don't know if you only take into account the ridiculousness of what you're saying : I'm doing well in SoloQ, so I'm ACTUALLY spending my whole game in a patch of grass next to the door. Wow. The new Einstein. A flawless argument. You have to be a lawyer, right?
Aaah, misery, we are supposed to be the most intellectually developed species...

I could literally care less if someone saves me from a killer face camping with NOED. It really doesn't matter because at that point I should expect to die. So no, I don't get mad at my teammates when that happens.
You're the dude who comes in here telling people to git gud while you sit and look at a corner. Shockingly enough, solo queue is a pain in the ass when you actually play the game and not sit idle holding the crouch key for 10 minutes.

Whatever you say Bush wookie. Keep doing literally nothing all game and saying "sOlo Q diFfiCulT? GiT Gud" to others after you escape with your 8k points.
Continue, it makes me laugh :'D
Let me guess ...
You must be the kind of survivor who insults an entire eight-generation lineage in the end chat because no one came to save you from a facecamp + NOED killer, right?
You're adorable.
The human mind is fascinating.
《If I can't do it and I have a bad time, it necessarily means that everyone else is in the same situation as me. If anyone claims otherwise, it has to be a liar》.
You will go a long way in life with such reasoning.
[Edit] Bush Wookie ? Can you use understandable terms, please?
-
Please don't nerf my anti-SWF weapon, thank you.
-
In survivor : having faced a fair play killer.
In killer: not having dealt with a SWF lobby.
In these two situations, I had fun, that's enough for me (but, hey, it's really rare).

Bro since you're so cracked let's see some video of you in Solo Q. I'd be willing to put my left nut on the fact you're the type of player to sit and let your team die while you hide in a corner.
So, based on your arguments, either we play SWF or we play our game hidden in a bush. Rather, it's up to me to ask myself how you play.
I have wasted enough time on this subject. Keep crying on the SoloQ as much as you want, I have no problem with it.
By the way, go also cry on the NOED, on Spirit, Nurse, DH, DS, BT, etc.
This community can only cry anyway.
-
So.
I have a friend who took up the game 1 hour ago. He just played his first killer game.
He spent the game taking paddles, getting blinded, and, in the end chat, he only had "Hahahaha", "noob", "baby killer so cringe", "ez noob".
As a result, he no longer wants to play the game at all.
Morality: we harvest what we sow.

I admit it would be enjoyable but let's be honest. If we could see were about to face a 4 man swf, we would lobby dodge lol
Without going so far as to flee the lobby, it would at least allow me to prepare myself mentally, haha. And above all to prepare my killer accordingly.

Sorry, but this sentiment is the most stupid and dismissive thing I've read on here recently, and you clearly sound like someone who doesn't play solo q often, if at all.
While most of your points are actually valid, the fact that you don't realize/won't acknowledge how ######### of a state solo q is in currently speaks volumes to your bias.
I don't care if you don't believe me.
It's so much easier to cry a lie than to accept that some people get to have fun and survive where you don't.
-
Honestly, just knowing the rank of survivors in the lobby (like before) and being warned when I'm facing a SWF would already make the game more enjoyable.

Maybe you should call people "it" and assume they "can't survive" just because they're stating a fact that solo Q can be a miserable experience, specially when paired with team mates by you.
I obviously can survive if I'm at red ranks, doesn't make it less frustrating.
There are some games that will be awful, either. So what ? Seriously ? Are you so used to consistently winning in SWF that you can't bear to lose a game?
Especially since in the red ranks, the teammates know how to save you with the flashlight, know how to flee the killer, know how to destroy totems, use good advantages, etc. For the vast majority.
Stop crying for nothing, I can't take it anymore. It never goes with you, no wonder the game is doing so badly if the developers aren't sure what to do to make you happy.
I am a 50/50 player. I play as much survivor as killer. Always in SoloQ, never in SWF. Am I going to create yet another subject to cry on? No.
-
Wow.
It cannot survive without SWF and it gives lessons. Amazing community.
I'm not crying on SoloQ while I wait.

Red rank devotion 17. Your point? I don't start a game just thinking how to get the hatch, I'm not a useless blendette.
I don't need thousands of hours to prove to myself that I understand the game better than you do. Either way, it's ridiculous of you to put your playing time forward and desperately try to demean me.
You are proof that hardly anyone knows how to play without SWF.
You're so used to having dozens of second chances against the killer that you come to cry when he becomes a threat.
Yep, you won't always have someone saving you with a palette, sabotage, or flashlight.
Yeah, your allies might not have BT and DS.
Yeah, your allies might not be able to escape the killer.
Etc.
Stop playing around in front of the killer, and then you will survive. I've never played SWF and I'm doing great.

Ignorant comment.
It does not matter how good you are if the rest of your team is bad. The game is 4v1 for a reason, because that is how it was balanced. You can be the best player in the game, and as survivor you will not win a 1v1.
Not everyone who plays SWF does so to "ridicule" the killer. I know it's easy to say SwF bAd because you're looking for some up votes, but reality is way different. "Git gud" is also not an argument.
Red rank.
I survive 80% of my games.
You just don't know how to adapt. Your teammates suck? Figure it out. There is a trap door, if only you are left, and lots of ways to make it easier to access. Otherwise, we must try to open the doors despite the rounds of the killer. And yes, you won't survive every time. That's the game.
So: git gud.

If it is every man for himself why dont you all just go and play a custom game and do a 1v1, i'm sure that will be an amazing experience.
You are a survivor, not a hero. You are normally with three other people whom you do not know and with whom you cannot chat. It is literally the lore of the game. You are the prey of the Entity, subjected to a bloodthirsty killer. You are supposed to cooperate only to keep yourself alive.
But I understand, it's so much easier and more fun to play in assisted mode (SWF), to ridicule the killer, to have no challenges and, above all, not to have to learn to play.
SoloQ is difficult? Git gud.
-
@Marigoria said:
Solo Q can be the most miserable experience on this game.
I see a lot of people saying how Killer is worse, and it can be against SWF, but have those people played survivor solo? Sometimes it feels like it is a 1v5.
You really didn't understand the game. It's every man for himself. This is nothing new.
-
Welcome to the real survivor mode of the game, as it was conceived by the developers.
-
This is the price to pay for allowing SWFs in this game. It's sad for you, but, at the same time, I'm glad to know that SWF waste more time on this game than I do.

Sure, you may lose, or lose badly if you are just wanting kills and 4ks. Just look at it as a learning experience, don't worry about kills if you are new and learning how to play and leveling up the killers perks. This game has a steep learning curve at first, but you will get the hang of it quicker than you might expect.
Whenever my Trapper takes on a SWF lobby, a Survivor follows me around the entire time to defuse my traps the minute I set them.
Even, honestly, it's not fun for me and my power is useless.
-
@AssassinZodiac said:
I never lobby dodge. Also, prefer to go against good swf squads. I don't care for the toxicity, but love a challenge of facing "good" swf squads. This game gets way too boring facing 96% of the survivor base that are too scared to do gens. I used to be intimidated by swf crews like some of you guys in this thread. Once you get better at the game, you will appreciate being challenged.
You guys will never hone your skills enough to face good swf crews as long as you keep dodging them.
Sorry, but I don't see myself succeeding against a 4 SWF red rank lobby with my Trapper, nor my Wraith.

"No" to what? I didnt mention noed lol. So idk what your going on about.
EVERYTHING has counterplay on both killer and survivor side. All perks and abilities have counterplay. As i said, only baby killers and baby survivors cpmplain about things like that anymore.
Sorry, I'm not very good at English.
I mean I have nothing against the perks that survivors use. Even DH, DS, BT, etc.
I was just laughing at those who accuse the OP of playing NOED, when they themselves must not have remorse in playing the most powerful skills of the survivors.
-
@Xsteel7 said:

But once u load in you can know. He had no obsession perks, and neither did the survivors, so DS off the list.
Some has BT? Hit the BT petson instead of tunneling the person off hook, 100% avoided and waisted perk.
DH dosnt even work 90% of the time anyway and when it does they avoid one hit. You can predict it when you know that they have it.
Every perk has counterplay. You can literally avoid all of them with or without knowing they have it. Only baby killers still complain about any of this.
No, but I don't care what perks survivors use. Originally, I just didn't give a ######### about anyone who laughs at the OP because it uses NOED.
-
FFXIV is still my main game. DBD only occupies me two hours a week.
-
I expect three types of killer :
1. A mechanical killer, steampunk
2. A killer using mirrors (Bloody Mary, Candyman)
3. The Headless Horseman of Sleepy Hollow
-
I really hope the MMR fixes the equal opportunity issues. If the red rank SWF lobbies are no longer affiliated with green - yellow rank killers, then the problem will be well on its way to being fixed. Chill killers will be able to have more enjoyable games and tryhard SWF will be with tryhard killers.
-
A toxic minority? Beautiful meetings? Hell, we're clearly not playing the same game.
-
@uwuowouwu69 said:
OP: I'm a snowflake and can't handle a little toxicity. Because of this, people's rights need to be taken away.

The game allows us to play NOED, so I'm not going to deprive myself of playing it. The survivors just have to make the totems instead of crying.
Seriously, the survivors can prevent us from using our skill, but we can't destroy BT, DS, DH, or OoO. Stop trying to make the killers feel guilty.
-
I will dodge SWF lobbies as much as possible.

Still glad the killer queues are instant. This may well be the last advantage we have left.

Not if its "At the slightest insult". A person has to open and look at what you've submitted, but if it's consistently something like, "you are poo", your reports aren't going to be taken seriously and may just be ignored.
Unless they say something racist, sexist, or something clearly not okay, no one is getting banned for anything.
I don't know what insults you have, but I am constantly making homophobic, grossophobic, racist, defamatory or discriminatory remarks.

That's probably a good way of getting your reports ignored.
In any case, in-game reports are useless. At least, with a support ticket + proof, I increase my chances, even minimal, that a ban falls on the face of one of these #########.
-
At the slightest insult, I take a screenshot, I report, and I contact support by providing them with the visual evidence.
I don't know if it works, support assures me every time a sanction is applied, but it allows me to calm down.

Yeah and punish the people who play with their friends for fun, pog move.
Seriously, when I SWF with, you guessed it, friends, we make it out less than I do in solo because we mess around and sandbag each other, my friend wanted their rank 1 achievement recently so we decided to be sweaty and we couldn't go three minutes without pissing around with each other and getting 4kd again.
There is a lot of over exaggeration in this community about how often people get 4man swf object comms sweat squads and it's really unhealthy for the community, swf is not an issue, it's how SWF can be abused that is the issue!
Seriously...
Play in the evening, between 9 p.m. and 2 a.m., in the EU region and 80% of matches are 3 to 4 SWF. It's horrible. Especially against Russian SWF ...
