pink elephant and bunny are the first two cosmetics I have actually wanted and would buy. Got a bunny need the pink elephant. Normally I dont even do cosmetics, but I like those two.

this is a PVP game man, when you get beat, you dust yourself off, pick up your pride, and click "ready" on the next match,
But,... a little revenge camping never hurt no one, get it out your system then realize it is in YOU to get better.
Good luck, you can do it.

Technically yes but I couldn’t sneak around it was a wide opened area with a hill.Eventually I was chased when she saw me I’m pretty sure she was mad because at the beginning of the match she decided to try and tunnel me hard cause I looped her.
there is no "final gen" theres always 3 to choose from.

Bbq is fine. It's easy to counter. Hide in a locker or behind a gen. Obviously you can't know if they have it. The smart move is to assume they do. And play around it.
Devs even gave people the perk Distortion which you dont even have to do anything just sit on the gen. Playing around perks is a challenge to some people in this game. They just want to hold m1 or W

This was when the other two teammates were still on hooks before they died she put them directly across from each other. Then in that same area was the final generator.
that is strategy and yes DCing was wrong thing to do.
patroling isnt camping. Huntress outplayed your team, DCing is lame.

How would knowing how many totems on the map need totem perks? It wouldn't tell you the location of them or anything, it will literally just tell you at the start that 5 totems are on the map and that's it.
Not knowing how many or where they are leads to longer time the totem exists. Which most players can agree, is not long enough. I have never seen someone in this game say "dang those totems seem to last forever" the opposite is fact, most dont last long enough to even proc. Try running Devour Hope see how often you get it to hit tier 3. Totems life expectancy is usually "if it last long enough to proc" and survivors running around looking for them is literally the life span of the totem.
Requesting that the time frame of totem life be decreased is a definite nerf.
-
@ALostPuppy said:
A counter to show the amount of totems left on the map would be the most welcome addition at this point. If you knew how many totems were left you might be inclined to search for them, instead of being completely in the dark about how many are left. You have no way of knowing so it feels pointless to just cleanse 1 totem that you find along the way, because there's 4 more that you have literally no way of knowing how many are left, and if you should keep searching for them.
Hell even give them a small effect, like -2% repair speed per dull totem.
would nerf totem perks even more than they are now. I barely ever run totem perks for this reason alone, its a gamble and can be countered in first 20 seconds of a match with no skill, just hold m1 you dont even get a skill check on totems.

Did they end up give you the 10k?
No, but I was brought into meet the big wigs of the operation I was working on, you may have heard of it, Deepwater Horizon, I worked during the oil spill clean up - 8 months in a Tyvek suit in the Deep South heat and humidity,.... I designed the shirts for the clean up crew oil spill workers though once they found out I had other skills. At that time in my life I was workikng emergency response for disasters, hurricanes, oil spills etc... https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Deepwater_Horizon was one of the emergencies I worked.

killed an OoO user last night via proxycamp, they dont even get salty because they know why we kill them. Ignore them at the start, catch them out of position, pretend you dont seee them then strike. Proxy that sucker too
-
200k but should be over500k to 1 mil
If they are reimbursing for the mess up, I do 100k matches all day long, some even 200k, so anything less is lowballing
-
People will have all kinds of reasons and personal stories about why its bad, but it really boils down to one thing: "they thought they were out the gates and then realized the battle was not over."
Its like a boss fight, 3rd phase. As a killer main, I don't run noed except for meme builds, but as a survivor, if I get hit with noed I just move on, killer is running an endgame build, much like my adrenaline/hope/wakeup build.
-
people always say they can use exploits, "its in the game" "blame the devs for leaving it"
We saw what happens on twitch when large streamers were abusing exploits live on cam,..... nothing. The asylum map bug? learned it on twitch, walking backwards as legion, saw it on twitch,....
-
You can word this type of thread however you like, but in the end it boils down to: "why do survivors die?"
Sorry kids, you died. Move on to the next match.
-
basically if two get out, you getting teabagged anyway. LOL
-
took a 10 month, 3 DLC break, and return to forum threads calling for Freddy nerfs.
Never in my life did I think it would happen, LOL
-
According to the dev stats I recall from the past, something like 70% of matches have SWF in some form whether its 2,3, or 4 on the team.
However, most will still be lackluster at the game and just playing with friends,.. you will KNOW without a doubt when you get a 3-4man SWF that will bully you. But dont give up, battle them often and get better and one day you will stand over their corpse in the fog.
or youll get a ton of BP and lose with dignity that you did not give up and kept fighting on, but you will learn their tactics as time goes on.

I was the one unhooking. You seem upset. Maybe I havent understood you and I respond wrongly? I thought you were saying it was the team's fault that the person suicides. The team hadn't done anything wrong. I went for the save with the Killer gone. They literally let go as I was grabbing. I don't see any reason they had to do that except to be a dick. 3rd gen popped litteraly 5 seconds after they died. We still had a full team before they killed themselves.

Not sure why you consider me upset, I am not the one who made a thread about a match that didn't go my way. However, what you just said is probably just them stop hitting spacebar during animation and it killed them, its happened to me before, if you dont continue to hit spacebar during unhook.
If you were in animation that is NOT the same as letting go before you unhooked, so the story facts have changed. If they let go during animation they didnt suicide on hook "before you unhooked" - BIG DIFFERENCE

No, friend. They were the first hook and had 2 almost 3 gens done. Our team hadn't played poorly at all.
Also killer stayed a time and I went for save when it left.
If a person is literally struggling and the lets go in your face, there is no way you can tell me it was because of the killer or map or anything other than a way to get back at the team bro. Its literally a kick in the face to the person coming. I see survivor streamers do it constantly and its ALWAYS a FU to the team. Maybe the unhooker sandbagged thjem without your knowledge? Could be you didnt see what happened
-
I would not give corporations free ideas. I designed a shirt once, and BP of British Petroleum asked if they could use my design for free, I said, gimme $10,000 and you can.
these companies will take your idea and making 100k off it, be careful what you give away online.
-
Actually that is usually done when the team is terribad or making bad plays. Its done as a "screw you" to the team. Perhaps your team did something to cause it because everytime I see it happen its when someone sat on a gen and let their friend hit struggle or something that triggered them to die on hook. Thats the only time I see someone let go right before being unhooked.

Yeah I guess, it’s also quite a niche scenario, so it’s understandable as to why they made it that way. But you get my point how it can be quite annoying for the survivor.
definitely, I totally understand. Im not a fan of the madness stuff
-
Seems that would be how intended. Killer got you to madness, not their fault your teamate gave you BT, killer did nothing wrong. Unhooking near the killer was a bad play.
-
didnt even have a single DC in a match last night.
-
now that Billy has been nerfed, they must address Huntress inifnite range, no way they gonna take away Billy mobility and then leave the Huntress with cross map hatchet ability.
Huntress range will be next, she should also have charge bar when holding hatchet so she cant stand there like Bubba revving chainsaw waiting for unhook. ;)

Nah man not at all, I just have not seen a single person present any real ideas for what even needs to change about Hag. I know she can punish survivors for mistakes somewhat better than some killers, but I find her to be one of the best designed of them and enjoy playing her tremdously. People seem to equate her strengths with not having fun, but personally I dont find pig traps and plague fun to vs but I dont want them changed. I feel it is just hag-hate that drives the idea Hag needs to be changed, nothing actual to do with her design. No one can even name an addon that needs to be reworked on her, she is fine imo.

The viable killers are dropping left and right.
I'm almost positive the next killers to be looked at will be ranged killers.
they need to limit Huntress range, if Billy cant chainsaw across map or hold his chainsw up too long, I imagine huntress will get some range limit and she needs to have a charge limit too. No more holding hatchets up for 2 minutes waiting for an unhook. And no more blindly throwing a hatchet across map at an aura from BBQ, das not fair
see how that works guys
-
don't worry guys, next Legendary girl skin, theyll get one of the office girls to do the voice, cant cost but a few extra hours on the check and a release form, maybe a independent contractor bonus.
They will learn from this, they made tons of money and will adapt.

He’s just being biased. He obviously abuses this mechanic and that’s why he’s ignoring FACTS. I play killer more than survivor, but I’m not going to lie and say her power in the basement is fair as it really isn’t. You shouldn’t just accept that if you’re hooked once in the basement, that’s game over. In what way does that make any sense? And we all know what the hit boxes are like. Sometimes going down isn’t a choice. 😂
Calling me biased is clearly showing you have no clue what I play. I have streamed over 1000 hours of my gameplay and play both sides, perhaps you should stop with the "he's a killer main" simply because I have a hag avatar. I don't "abuse" anything, way to go reducing your debate to nonchalantly accusing me of being some game exploiter, I play the game as intended. You just proved you are just salty, this conversation can serve no purpose.

Okay, this is my last response. I know I said that before but I mean it now. You aren’t reading anything I am saying. Who said you need a perk to crouch?! MY ISSUE IS WITH HOW LONG IT TAKES TO CROUCH BACK OUT OF THE BASEMENT WHILST THE HAG IS COMING STRAIGHT BACK.
You have 2 options. Crouch walk out and get downed again before you can make it up the stairs or run and trigger traps and then get downed as she teleports back.
But yeah you’re right, that’s being ‘out played’
LMAO goodbye.
The reason you keep replying is because I am correct and you want to prove me wrong, however you said: "I’m asking why you need perks to be able to counter her in the basement"
You literally said you need perks to be able to counter her in the basement,... no you don't. Crouching and flashlghts are not perks. One Ace with a flashlight could make the save and be out with no issues, maybe its the caliber of your team you should be upset with.
-
@Aven_Fallen said:
https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/1411497#Comment_1411497
Its quite easy to understand - if someone is in the Basement, they are dead. Sure, a Survivor can get down without triggering any Traps. But then? Getting up takes some time, while the Hag is already on her way back. Dont know how you get outplayed here, you cannot run because then a Trap would be triggered and you are super-slow to get away, which allows the Killer to be back.
Who's fault is it for getting hooked in the basement?
The only way she can teleport back is if you trigger her trap, and who's fault is that again?
-
@TheLastGreatStar said:

You’re obviously not reading what I’m writing, so this will be my last reply to you as I’m not having a back and forth with a brick wall.
The tactic your describing is one that works if you have the right perks. Yeah, somebody could trigger all the traps and distract the killer whilst somebody else goes down for the save but unless the person doing the unhooking has BT or the person on the hook has DS, they will just be instantly downed again and thrown back on the hook. That’s what my main post was talking about. I’m asking why you need perks to be able to counter her in the basement when literally no other killer has this problem. You shouldn’t have to run perks to be able to get out of the basement with a tunnelling Hag.
It’s nothing to do with being outplayed.
The reason I dont address all your comments is because its silly. You dont need a perk to crouch, you dont need a perk to use a flashl;ight which can be found in any chest.
You are making excuses where I was trying to encourage you to play better instread you want to argue about Hag being OP.
LOL she cant do anything unless YOU trigger her trap, periodt.

so? he's a community manager. he has nothing to do with balancing or reworking a killer.
Also being rank 1 doesn't mean you understand all killer in depth.
have played against Peanits as killer and on his team as survivor. I think I can safely say Id rather him on my team than majority of randos.

@TheLastGreatStar said:
https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/1411463#Comment_1411463
Did you not read anything I said? The problem isn’t playing around her traps. It’s easy getting into the basement. But how are you supposed to get back out once she’s heading back? The only way around her traps is to crouch over them or use a flashlight. There’s not enough time to crouch out and the last time I checked people don’t have a flashlight on them at all times.
Tell that to the Ace doing spins to trigger traps while Meg goes in through window. Sounds like you guys got outplayed, move on to next match
-
@TheLastGreatStar said:
https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/1411434#Comment_1411434
Judging by your avatar I can smell the bias from here.
I wasn’t actually killed, but nice try. But one of the randoms on my team was. Nobody triggered any traps going to rescue the guy, but the Hag would come straight back so the only option was to sit in the basement or run and trigger every trap. And they didn’t have DS, so she just kept repeating this progress until they died. I actually see the Hag a lot on console so I don’t know what you mean about her being the least played killer.
If you think that’s fair that once somebody is trapped in the basement they need perks to be able to escape against a tunnelling Hag, well I guess that says more about you than me. And don’t try the whole “play killer” argument as I’m a rank 1 killer. I just don’t see how that gameplay is fun for either side or fair.
PLay around her traps then, its not the killers fault you guys expect to just run in and save without any cares. Traps can literally be seen and are countered in more than one way. If you are really a rank 1 killer you should know how to outplay Hag.
According to dev stats they release, Hag is usually always the least played.
-
If your team is sitting there watching, the killer has no reason to leave to begin with. They should be doing gens, the punishment for the killer is losing the match, however what you say sounds like the kliller won

Ive had a few in my games over the years as survivors, have killed a few too LOL
-
Were you around when flashlights were more powerful? If not, then you can't comprehend how they needed to be toned down. They literally gave us Franklins Demise because flashlights were so powerful and games were 4 flashlights every other match. Screen would go white so often it was giving killers headaches they evenetually changed the screeen to what we have now. Franklins was only given because survivors were abusing 4 flashlights per match.
Survivors had their fun with flashlights, so much that they added perk, edited blind screens etc,... was abused so devs addressed it. No way they going back on it.
