I don't understand why people say grades only reflect time played.
Not really, if you suck, you will not reach red grades.
At some point to progress upwards you have to beat the survivors and pip. And pipping gets harder as you play more and get better teams.
I have 10 hook 3k games and still no pip. You have to win to reach the top.

Well I read an article about how American kids didn't know how to read analog clocks, so instead of teaching them how to do it, the school removed all the analog clocks lol

Well, to be fair, Mathiis is also a legitimate comp level player. Not meant as a knock against tru3, but nobody is stepping in their first time in a comp game against arguably the best team of all time and doing remotely well
Gotcha, and what I said was not aimed at or anything about Tru3 and more about strats used against Oracle. You cannot beat them playing 12 hook game.

It's also why people hate both nurse and blight. Because you can't just mindlessly hold W and throw against them.

I use a pair of Sennheiser hd280 pro but I am thinking of upgrading to a 7.1 surround pair, as despite being qquite expensive the Sennheiser headphones are only stereo and am wondering if the 3d heaphones provide a better experience in games like this.

When I bought PUBG, I wanted to have fun. I logged in my first match, got sniped.
Joined second match, got sniped.
I think it went on for another 20 hours before I got the hang of it.
This game is like PUBG bros. Gotta play through the torment till you get the hang of it.

Killers get reported for everything.
People downplay this, but killers are harrassed non stop in the game, and swf reporting is one of them
Good thing is need vid evidence, but they will still try.

Gamers like to call fans a "community" but in reality, most just want to argue about the game, what they mean by community is popularity contest groups, where groups gather and go after others.
We have seen it time and time again on twitter, and especially twitch streamer fans. Its like tribes fighting.
Community? Go outside and talk to your neighbor this is a videogame folks.

I didnt camp for emotional reasons, I got a hill hook at the corner of the map. Why should I let go of such a good position? A hill hook at the corner of a map with used pallets which is now a dead zone is almost better then the basement.
Their classic tactic is to try and call a skillful play anything but a skillful play.

Bodyblocking is one of my fave things in thew game, not to grief, but survs do it all the time to killers, so we can bodyblock back.
Not referring to griefing, but I will frenzy pasty someone and block a door or window, same with Wraith.

Survivor is so easy.
Last night:
Played a Dwight match where I had to hide in terror radius for 120 seconds or whatever, did nothing in the match, couple saves, half a gen etc,... pipped.
Played Leatherface game after 4k, 10 hooks - no pip.
Played Blight 4k, no pip.
I escaped a Basement Bubba last night, not a single chase, did 3 gens, and escaped, no saves, no altruism, pipped like a bboss.

Targeting is going after someone.
As I already said, poor choice of words, but what was meant is "singling out/tunneling/targetting" that player to grief or harrass.
I admitted my poor choice of words, again, I am happy for the lgbt folks here, and apologize if anything I said was taken the wrong way. I meant tunneling a person for their charms.

This is not how it works and it is a really stupid take.
This is the same stuff that game up when the Pride-Charm was introduced. "Now Survivors will get Killers banned because they claim they were tunneled for being LGBTQ+!!!"...
And this did not happen. If a David claims that you tunneled them because he is a Gay-Character, you will be fine. If you say you tunneled them because they are a F-Word, you are not fine.
Devs literally came out and stated that if you target anyone with rainbow charms, it is considered harrassment and bannable because it was happening. There are threads on this forum about it, nothing stupid about my take. COnsidering it is the length at which these things reach

The tests were done BEFORE Camaraderie was added. So they gave you a perk that did something similar, and was not infinite. I am only telling you what the devs said.

How does it not make sense that if survivors could stop struggle progress that they would swarm the hook to deny the killer any kills? It creates a situation where the killer has no reason to leave, and the survivors are causing him to stay.
As stated, it was tested and the devs said that is the outcome, meta-wise survivors will just abuse it.
Camaraderie is the perk form of what was tested (slowing/stopping hook progress if survs are near hook)

Devs stated long ago, that they tested stuff like this and guess what.
They said survivors abused it during tests and it caused more camping because survivors use stuff like that to trap the killer in a bind where survivors swarm the hook, causing him no game progress.

I constantly play a 3gen strat when needed and if I hook you in the 3gen, I am not going to leave the 3gen.
Having hooks like Pyramid Head would destroy any pressure used by hooks, especially Scourge hooks. Having those 2 scourge hooks in the 3gen can change the game.

Not a single one of those videos was an Otz video, lol. I deliberately didn't add Otz's video because I knew people would say this.
It was random streamers just doing Otz's challenge. People are saying that killer is unplayable at high MMR, yet here are high MMR killers getting over a 50% 4ks and 3ks while not using perks, addons and giving survivors a 30 second head start. And I haven't even posted the tip of the iceberg of random streamers doing this. Go to youtube and you get pages of killer-players doing Otz's challenge.
Tunneling-off-hook-till-dead and Face-Camping needs to be nerfed along with a buff to killers to compensate. It's bad game design. It's not fun for either side.

Otz streak videos he looks/sounds absolutely miserable, complains constantly about the experience, has to tunnel/camp/run noed to get these streaks, but yeah, its super easy not even a slight struggle. Killer is super easy becuse ytuber did it.

Of all the things, this is the stuff that will hurt the game the most. People continue to play because it's fun, but even me, I have run into quite a few hackers, have caught some on video recording, and it makes me question many matches, where things just do not seem right.

I have been a PVPer online since old Ultima Online days, and know too well what it means and feels when a game actually dies.
I do not want that for DBD no matter what, love this game and spent some money on DLC yesterday to keep the game alive.
I don't want DBD to die, I also do not think it is dying at all. Having lived through old MMO deaths, dbd is more popular than ever.
