What are you getting at with your first point?

And as for the second, the only other time I've seen a game run as poorly is when I went to Blighttown in the first Dark Souls and that area is INFAMOUS.

What are you getting at with your first point?

Bringing up the majority of people doing X is fallacious.

Did I say they press a button to set their MMR? No, I never said that. I said with the tools at hand

The hacker has the tools to decide how every single match goes. They set their trend in the matchmaking by forcing wins and losses over time. I've now explained this to you in 3 different ways but nothing gets through your skull. You're a compulsive contrarian that lives to argue for no reason.

Did I say they press a button to set their MMR? No, I never said that. I said with the tools at hand

You actually did. "cheater is pretty much able to set their own MMR with the tools at hand".

I certainly love to argue, however only if there is a valid reason too.

Why not just say you didn't mean that cheaters could directly set they're length, I think you like arguing too. Which isn't a bad thing.

I'm not even entirely sure what that first point means. The average players on Steam was 54K last month. Considering the PS4 has been widely successful and that DBD was on PS+ for free a year ago means that it isn't a stretch to say that PS4 has close to the numbers Steam has. Likewise, DBD is free with Xbox Game Pass (which is a hilariously good deal) and consistently ranks in the "most popular" section of Xbox's store, normally just behind GTA V.

As for your second point, it doesn't hold up to scrutiny at all. DBD is the only game that runs so terribly on current-gen Consoles. Star Wars Battlefront II (which was released in 2017, the same year DBD was on Console) runs extremely well and yet it is FAR more graphically intensive. Ergo, we can logically conclude that the issue doesn't lie with the hardware the Console is packing, but rather with how the game is optimized.

I'm not even entirely sure what that first point means.

"The bandwagon fallacy is also sometimes called the appeal to common belief or appeal to the masses because it’s all about getting people to do or think something because “everyone else is doing it” or “everything else thinks this. Of course, the problem with this fallacy is not everyone is actually doing this, but there is another problem that’s important to point out. Just because a lot of people think something or do something does not mean it’s right or good to do. For example, in the 16th century, most people believed the earth was the center of the universe; of course, believing that did not make it true."

As for your second point, it doesn't hold up to scrutiny at all. DBD is the only game that runs so terribly on current-gen Consoles.

That is fair, while the point likely holds for most other games, such as ironically GTA5 like you in a previous point listed, it could be the game is just really poorly optimized on consoles.

Although I am not completely convinced that is still the case exclusively though.

It's not. If the cheater doesn't want to have a good rating, they can throw without even needing to cheat, or they can use cheats to sandbag & screw the rest of their team over and net the least possible points

This is the cheater's ability to choose their matchmaking tendencies. I don't know what you're getting out of trying desperately to contradict me.

It's not. If the cheater doesn't want to have a good rating, they can throw without even needing to cheat, or they can use cheats to sandbag & screw the rest of their team over and net the least possible points.

Which all have nothing to do with directly setting MMR.

This is the cheater's ability to choose their matchmaking tendencies. I don't know what you're getting out of trying desperately to contradict me.

To learn two things, 1 is it actually possible that people who are cheating to manually set they're own MMR, and 2 is this coming out of your butt, or do you actually know what you are talking about.

Considering you have red herring 100 times now, and you just literally said "This is the cheaters ability to choose match making abilities", I am leaning towards you just saying this, considering everything you have said indirectly affects MMR and isn't a toolkit for direct MMR change.

Survivors don't have to do what you want them to do. Be happy you already have the huge advantage that is end game collapse and calm down.

Yes, Killers should be so thankful that they have the option to end the game and lose. You know what, you're right, we should allow survivors to hold the game hostage vs killers that they are much better then for as long as the survivors want and finally remove this stupid idea known as "End game collapse". Lets just pretend that EGC is a newer mechanic, and all of those games that were really annoying at end game due to hostage situations didn't exist. Or you know what, thats not pretend they exist, because clearly they are what survs need to really have the fun they deserve.

None of these factor in if you're cheating. If you're autocompleting every gen you touch and speedhacking to escape every chase, you will inevitably gain a better standing in the matchmaking. I don't know why you're dragging this conversation out by trying to poke holes in something so simple.

Winning and actively gaining MMR via many matches over time, is something completely different then "cheater is pretty much able to set their own MMR with the tools at hand".

I am asking about these tools, because I have only heard you bring this up.

What do you think determines MMR? The same thing that determines MMR in every other game on this earth, performance. You didn't even read the reply.

Performance on what? How well do you need to perform? What goes into it? Are your teammates considered? Wouldn't MMR gain be server sided? What performance system is in place that decided you did well or poorly? Does dying early have as much as a impact as dying late if you "performed" equally? Define "Performance"?

I am just curious, as far as I know, only you have the answers to all of these questions (besides the devs), especially the if its server sided or not question. I would imagine it would be foolish to store that online information locally.

  • @Snowbawlzzz said:

This doesn't say anything about the MMR system

Maybe the MMR got him matched with you, maybe it didn't. We can't know because a cheater is pretty much able to set their own MMR with the tools at hand.

How do you figure?? We don't even know how its determined at all, so how would someone make a toolset to change it?

  • @Edilibs said:

Its one thing to lose but its another to know WHY your losing. First off i want to say that this new mmr system is absolutely horrible! So i can can see my progress at the cue screen but BHVR seems to be going in the direction of removing rank all together and this is a mistake.

The people that say rank doesnt matter really don't understand games with ranking systems and this goes into a variety of genres. On average green, yellow and dark yellow (Rank 20's) are pretty bad and this can be for a number of reasons but the bottom line is that they don't really know the game and or are bad at it. Now i have no information post match so i can asses why i lose a game if i lose one or even when i win. When i win i want to know why and see ranks, stats etc and the same for when i lose. This new system is so bad along with the fps drops on console its really turning me away from this game which i really liked and still do but things are getting ridiculous with these changes...

Why does BHVR think ranks dont matter? Have they been listening to top streamers that may have said this? Please revert the match making back to the way it was, i dont care if me at red ranks get paired up with a rank 9 i'd still rather know that the person is rank 9 so i can assess my win or loss. Now i just dont' know anything...Now things are just a mystery and i have no answers and can only see perks. I'd much rather have the old MMR system (which i wasnt a fan of) than this crap because at least i know why things have happened the way they did! I would usually play at least 2 hours of DBD in a day but just shook my head after 45 min and turned it off because of this (mentioned above) reason. Its really becoming less and less fun....

In fighting games and other genres of games theres you can see points/ranks because you need to have info on a player. If BHVR really think that pairing a red rank up with a green or yellow rank doesnt matter then they really dont know games or the people that play them im sad to say. Why oh why would they get rid of rank displays!!!!?

    WHYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY!!!!!!!!???????????????

Btw i play killer at rank 1 and survivor at rank 3 so just throwing that out there.

BHVR seems to be going in the direction of removing rank all together and this is a mistake.

Yhea, they have voiced they're distaste of it for a while if I recall correctly. With that being said however, I am not sure it is a mistake. The ranking system as it is is terribly flawed. Although I think I would prefer it over a MMR system, even if they manage to make it work correctly.

The people that say rank doesnt matter really don't understand games with ranking systems and this goes into a variety of genres.

Or you just don't understand what it dictates. Rank does not account for skill at all.

I have a friend who has got the game a few months ago and he hit rank 3 in roughly a few weeks. He however, is more like what I would consider a rank 11. Clearly there are issues here. Its also common for newer players to get to Rank 1, hence why so many R1 do not play like how you would think the best rank in the game would play the game. If they did, every single match would be 30x more hell then what they already are at times.

Truthfully, as the devs have said, all rank is, is play time. Nothing more, nothing less.

Based of rank alone, you couldn't tell the difference between a rank 1 who has played for 100 hours, nor one that has played 1,000,000 hours.

On average green, yellow and dark yellow (Rank 20's) are pretty bad and this can be for a number of reasons but the bottom line is that they don't really know the game and or are bad at it.

Rank doesn't mean anything, you could be vsing a smurf. You could be facing someone who artificially ranked down. The list goes on. All that tells you, is the play time on the account was not enough for them to be able to get to R15.

Now i have no information post match so i can asses why i lose a game if i lose one or even when i win. When i win i want to know why and see ranks, stats etc and the same for when i lose.

Simple, they were better then you, you did poorly, they capitalized on something in a close game, they are a swf with strat or you are vsing survs who are playing the game correctly and you are playing a weak killer. Inverse would be the same reasons you win.

Why does BHVR think ranks dont matter?

    Because they dont.

Have they been listening to top streamers that may have said this?

No one knows what goes on in the mind of the devs. One second they make a good chapter with good changes, the next second they are focusing on Pyramid Head's butt appearance in game (while glorifying it).

Please revert the match making back to the way it was,

I agree tbh, I don't think MMR is good for DBD.

I'd much rather have the old MMR system (which i wasnt a fan of) than this crap because at least i know why things have happened the way they did!

Agreed, but not for the reason listed. I agree because at least in the old match making, I didn't have to sweat every match to a insane degree and resort to camping nor tunneling (smartly) in specific situations as weak killers to make traction.

I would usually play at least 2 hours of DBD in a day but just shook my head after 45 min and turned it off because of this (mentioned above) reason. Its really becoming less and less fun....

Pretty much same, that is what happens when you start to add skill based mechanics in a imbalanced and casual game.

In fighting games and other genres of games theres you can see points/ranks because you need to have info on a player.

You can't compare fighting games and this game, for one this is a 4 v 1. So just that fact makes it hard to be balanced, but in other games rank might actually mean something unlike in this game.

If BHVR really think that pairing a red rank up with a green or yellow rank doesnt matter then they really dont know games or the people that play them im sad to say.

That is not smart to say, because that doesn't make sense. If a yellow and red play at the same skill level, WHICH IS VERY COMMON because RANK DOESN'T MATTER for this game, then it is good to pair them together, provided the game's balance doesn't get crushed like in this game.

Why oh why would they get rid of rank displays!!!!?

To filter people like you complaining about the ranks, although you seem to complain about how they tried to stop you complaining about what you are complaining about... so it didn't completely work.

Btw i play killer at rank 1 and survivor at rank 3 so just throwing that out there.

I play R1 both, since 2 years, with roughly 5000 hours. In that time, I realized how stupid it is to try to use ethos because it is a fallacy in this sense. How long you have played mostly doesn't matter, and it certainly doesn't matter in the sense of what you have said in this post.

Just because the parade jumps off a cliff, doesn't mean it was a good choice. Nice band wagon though. (Assuming I even give you this point, I haven't done enough research to know, but it would seem fair considering I would bet majority of people in the gaming community are casuals.)

And not everyone like PC tho. I personally play on PC, but I know plenty of people who prefer something that is easy to set up without the hassle of building a pc. Not only that some people just prefer playing on a couch in front a 75 inch plasma screen, rather then on a 15 inch screen..

If they prefer lower end, they are likely being fools. That's like saying "I prefer to get punched", its dumb. Why would anyone do that? I somewhat get for money reasons if they ' don't know what they are doing, but not preferring to have a worse experience.

Cool, if people like shooting themselves in the foot, then that is they're thing, just don't get mad when you have issues in games, be it because the devs or just because the hardware is that bad.

I feel bad for anyone who bought a ps5 for 700+. That's a prebuilt, med to high pc they could of got. Then I remember they are the one who choose to do that, then defend they're choice regardless of how bad it was and I stop feeling bad.

Also you can use TV's with PCs. I have done it before, people prefer monitors because its better for competitive games, IE less screen drag, input lag, ect.

  • Not anyone I know, well consoles are common but almost all my friends have at least a decent PC.

The word "gay" doesn't actually ever mean "annoying," and using it to mean "annoying" would be another example of homophobia. So, no, we don't give someone a pass because they meant it in a negative way, but not a super literal negative way.

Excuse me, your assumption of what other people mean I find to be really offensive to the LGBT community (or whatever community you prefer), as a ex gay husband (wife works here too), how dare you assume the word gay is bad. People should take it, and be happy they are called it, to really embrace same gender marriage in they're hearts.

Thats not how intuition / instincts work since they are a "preferred" automatic response to stimuli

example see a key in a lobby, response check profiles to see if its a swf to know if I should bring strong stuff or really strong stuff

also going out on a limb and guessing you didn't even put correct options up there so it was a guaranteed wrong answer

Cool, they're people who use they're intuition in serious situations and sometimes it saves they're lifes, in others it kills them.

Sure you do, then based off intuition, is my hair brown or black, are my eyes greenish blue, or blue.

If you can't give me the correct answers, then your intuition is no better then chance as we see in everyday life because clearly it may or may not be true, regardless of what you want to believe.

There's a thread with perks that were suggested and implemented into the game that says otherwise. However, let's assume you're right. If the devs don't read anything, what's the point of this thread addressing them?

The point is simply to point it out? What are you exactly expecting that I am expecting?

Its aimed at the community, if they see and if they agree, surely the devs will see it as well at some point. I already am 99% sure the devs know, threads like this are normally somewhere in almost all the threads here because few like the keys. They aren't healthy for the game.

Your argument is also fallacious, you assume my intent, but there are a million reasons why I could post this.

Maybe because I have a bad game in which people were using keys, maybe because I personally just dislike keys, ect

My goal was to simply point out it like many have already done, because its a issue in the game. I don't know why you try to force your view points on others, but it is poor man.

  • @Yamaoka said:

Wanna share your key story ?

I'm not here to discuss your conundrums of philosophy of what is or isn't a way to the path of truth. This is a forum for a video game, acting on intuition was enough for our ancestors which are the reason we are alive today, thats good enough for me to trust it to save me 15 seconds in a video game.

    It is simple.

If we flip a coin, its not a path because you are as likely to get a affirmative that you are to not. Its also not based on anything more then chance.

Intuition is a feeling, if it leads you to do something, and you are correct sometimes, or not sometimes, then it is no better then flipping a coin.

My point is you are being irrational, and red herring is not very productive. Very much so when it writes off my valid claim.

  • The fact this idea is so mixed should be a red flag not to add this as it is literally splitting the player base in this thread in two. Roughly 20 / 20

  • @bjorksnas said:

    https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/2423540#Comment_2423540

So then develop instincts to cut down on the time you might spend checking profiles by developing them to tell you when to check, since you like to go down the path of logic you should know instincts are just a preferred response to stimuli, so set some type if bare minimum situation, where you might decide to check profiles, here are some of mine for example, key in lobby, 3+ toolboxes or flashlights, or multiple of the same survivor or shared cosmetic. Now its suddenly less tedious (although it only takes like 15 seconds to check all 4 profiles so its not really that bad)

Acting on intuition is not a path to truth.

Would you act on "instinct" that it would be fine to shoot someone a few times because your "instincts" are telling you it would be? If so you are insane, if not, then you clearly see why I think you are completely irrational.

  • @bjorksnas said:

    https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/2423431#Comment_2423431

So check the profiles and see if they are on each others friends lists or get better instincts, you have an options for facts and an option for feelings, pick whichever you like but it works out for me on instinct alone

Ignoring the instincts statement, that could work. Although seems tedious.

    2. The attraction can create hallucinations that will roam for a specific amount of time then dissapear (90s)ish if a hallucination comes in contact with a surivor they get a jumpscare and will be afflicted with the fear status effect for 30s

Fear causes random skill checks to appear and missing will will cause you to scream and have fake attractions crawl at you you can still do actions with fear

    3. the attraction has 2 specal ability while crouched 1passive 1active

3.1 when moving towards a scream icon caused by fear while crawling he will gain a 50% haste for 5s (sprintburst speed)

3.2 while crawling and looking at a surivor with the fear status effect you will gain a pounce option similar to Victor's pounce getting a hit or missing will remove fear and apply mangled and do a health state if you hit with a special animation if you down them.

Hallucinations go through walls but the attraction cant see their auras

    Thanks for the idea.

You're the only thing that attracts me.

This argument is silly, because you are making speech and action seem as one. In that situation you are to leave because at that point you are trespassing if you stay, you can still say X, but it doesn't conform with reality.

You are "virtually trespassing" if you break the EULA.

This is not a cut and dry issue, its actually quite complicated, however there are things that both parties can do to bring about a peaceful resolution.

Yes, it is. The party slinging hateful rhetoric is at fault. It's that simple.

You are "virtually trespassing" if you break the EULA.

That's now how this works, and that confused me with how you put it. XD

I know it is possible to win court cases regardless of the terms you agree with in specific cases, although you'd have to talk about that with a lawyer.

In any case, I already offered justification for the situation. So even if I assumed you are correct in stating this, you have just restated (rather poorly if I do say so myself, and I do) what I have already said but significantly more simplified and not accurate.

Yes, it is. The party slinging hateful rhetoric is at fault. It's that simple.

You took this out of context, as the point I was trying to make while saying this went over your head. Oh well, not everyone is paying attention I suppose.

Anywho, I agree, I never disagreed with this for the third time. Which is exactly how I know you aren't paying attention.

Note: You haven't refuted anything I have said but indirectly agreed, as you've made points I already made.

For those who dont think he has a power, the game in which he is from, he has hallucinations to tramatize the player in the game, i can see that being his power.

Heres an idea to play with Hallucinations that i would personally would like to see. Place a hallucination that interacts with survivors diiferently depending on where its place.

Springtrap can place up to 4 Hallucinations at a time. After a Hallucination is triggered, it returns to use and becomes usable again after 60 seconds. Each Hallucination will have their own individual timer.

All Hallucinations return after 1 minute in which it will immediately be available to place.

After a hallucination is triggered, Springtrap gains Undetectable for 15 seconds.

when placed, will stand watch and charge towards any survivor that runs within 16 meters, revealing causing them to scream for 4 seconds and gain exhausted for 10 seconds.

when placed near a totem by 6 meters, will cause a survivor to scream for 4 seconds if they start cleansing, causing the hex tied to the totem to move, losing a token if it possesses one, the totem will be revealed to all players for 8 seconds.

When placed near a gen by 6 meters, will cause the survivor to scream for 4 seconds and block the gen for 10 seconds.

when placed right under a pallet, will hold the pallet for 3 seconds when a survivor passes through the hallucination. (does not cause screaming.)

traps can be placed 6 meters away from Springtrap and take 5 seconds to become active.

I think this would make for an interesting power set up. Only issue is the possibility of a strong 3 gen situation but survivors can work on the right gens to prevent this, especially with the lack of mobility with him.

Sounds really cool, but this certainly would be too weak. If you tweaked the idea though this could work.

I still don't want FNAF in DBD though...

Agreed, but I'm not sure how that's punished. Most likely, it's a temporary ban.

Freedom of speech does not exist on private platforms. You do not have the right to use a private speech platform however you want any more than you have the right to ######### the bed in a hotel room and then demand not to be kicked out.

As for an ideal world, it'd be one where people don't insult others because they lost in a video game, and the ones who were insulted aren't seen as the party at fault.

Freedom of speech does not exist on private platforms. You do not have the right to use a private speech platform however you want any more than you have the right to [BAD WORD] the bed in a hotel room and then demand not to be kicked out.

This argument is silly, because you are making speech and action seem as one. In that situation you are to leave because at that point you are trespassing if you stay, you can still say X, but it doesn't conform with reality.

As for an ideal world, it'd be one where people don't insult others because they lost in a video game, and the ones who were insulted aren't seen as the party at fault.

What a fallacious implication, the receiving party was never at fault and I never said such things. It is however they're responsibility to not take drastic action in response however when the person in question fails to act civil.

This is why is not a good idea to bring a gun into situations when they're might be a chance to lower the tension. IE: You have to focus on your priories. If your priority is censoring everyone who acts egregious verbally, and its in a manner that doesn't directly correlate to an action as a threat (Such as yelling bomb in a theater, as that is directly exclaiming a threat in a sense that can not be logically rationed least the possible threat lead to death, and therefore incites panic, inciting harm) , then that doesn't help either. If someone believes X, stopping them from speaking they're mind isn't going to change anything. In fact, if the goal is to just upset people in the first place, you give the person what they want.

At the end of the day the person who is saying the most, and doing the most is just destroying they're own public outlook. This is why when you name certain people, even in modern day, you can correlate they're bad ideas and instantly recognize them as being a negative figure and therefore one to avoid. Just because someone isn't being censored, doesn't mean they aren't being punished.

This is not a cut and dry issue, its actually quite complicated, however there are things that both parties can do to bring about a peaceful resolution.

As said before, if someone says X thing online, you have time to rationalize what they are saying and therefore just ignore it. If people really just listened to random people at they're word just because, then I am not sure life would be how we know it to be as we know it currently.

    EDIT

Of course though, this is a forum. So it actually makes sense for them to censor people when they say stuff like that with warnings, because of the outlook of the company. I stress, I don't disagree with the action taken here by the mods, and find it completely fair.

What kind of logic is that of "act childish back", so if someone calls me a slur, I should call them a slur back? lmao tf that's not how things work

Its not logical, I never claimed it was.

    EDIT

Also no, you shouldn't. If we are being realistic however, then it will happen at some point in your life. Be it you just got in a break up, and your friend is constantly hounding you, and then you just snap.

Or something more normalized like trash talk in a game.

the perk allready starts you in negative for healing time thats not changing the perk at all or drastically. there should never be an excuse to change a perk regarding wasted time, especially for something as small as this, its better to try and fail and realisticly the only thing that takes time with these reworks is the idea itself and the balancing, which is what this aims to cover. as to the point of this being really inconsistant or insanely consistant, the whole idea is to make it reliable. the perk should not be a gamble to begin with it should be able to consistantly get 5 stacks by the end of the game if you play it right. currently even if you play it right, there is NO GARUNTEE that you will even get a skillcheck. your perk that you have to bring on its own or its out valued anyways, isnt even garunteed to work. thats what this aims to fix, while making it more enjoyable and balanced. auto is no where near op, if you bring jills perk resurgance and get healed by well make it, your heal time is 4 seconds. at 5 stacks, with auto didact, after your 7 skill check chain which takes about 3 or 4 seconds, you only get 65% progress. you still have 4 more seconds of healing. the perk ties inner strength for speed, but you cant use it on yourself. its out classed by any 2 other healing perk combos, and when combod in a full healing build, it doesnt help at all as the skill checks wont even finish before your finish your healing boosted from oother perks anyways. this perk is a nice healing perk in that it gives value without requiring extra perks, its rewarding and incentivising throughout the match without being too immideate. its a fun perk, that needs more love. If anything , adding a cooldown to the perk that prevents 5 stacks withing the first minute of the game is going to help killers anyways, but any auto didact gamer would take a garunteed skillcheck, over having to wait a bit to get the next stack, that much im certain of.

Firstly ouch, please format blocks of text. At least space your points, geesh.

the perk allready starts you in negative for healing time thats not changing the perk at all or drastically.

Unless you have calculated a specific value that would be the case, then no. Even assuming its not drastic, my former points still apply.

there should never be an excuse to change a perk regarding wasted time, especially for something as small as this, its better to try and fail and realisticly the only thing that takes time with these reworks is the idea itself and the balancing, which is what this aims to cover.

Its a eye sore to read all this, but I think I understand what you mean. I disagree however, this doesn't help with the balance of the game at all.

Either its faster, previous point applies. Slower, previous point applies. Or it doesn't change anything and its not something that should be focused on.

as to the point of this being really inconsistant or insanely consistant, the whole idea is to make it reliable. the perk should not be a gamble to begin with it should be able to consistantly get 5 stacks by the end of the game if you play it right.

I agree with this part then, it would be nice to make perks both feel better and constantly have a space to work in. With that being said, I don't think this should be a focus, as game balance is more important.

currently even if you play it right, there is NO GARUNTEE that you will even get a skillcheck. your perk that you have to bring on its own or its out valued anyways, isnt even garunteed to work.

    Ok.

thats what this aims to fix, while making it more enjoyable and balanced. auto is no where near op, if you bring jills perk resurgance and get healed by well make it, your heal time is 4 seconds.

I know, and I don't claim its OP. Its just if X applies then Y issue occurs.

at 5 stacks, with auto didact, after your 7 skill check chain which takes about 3 or 4 seconds, you only get 65% progress. you still have 4 more seconds of healing. the perk ties inner strength for speed, but you cant use it on yourself. its out classed by any 2 other healing perk combos, and when combod in a full healing build, it doesnt help at all as the skill checks wont even finish before your finish your healing boosted from oother perks anyways.

If it is that pointless then it is equally pointless to change it?

this perk is a nice healing perk in that it gives value without requiring extra perks, its rewarding and incentivising throughout the match without being too immideate. its a fun perk, that needs more love. If anything , adding a cooldown to the perk that prevents 5 stacks withing the first minute of the game is going to help killers anyways, but any auto didact gamer would take a garunteed skillcheck, over having to wait a bit to get the next stack, that much im certain of.

Then there is a upside that helps it, and would conform to my previous point?

The thing is is doesn't matter if it is slower, faster, or the same, there is still a valid counter argument that is critical for this perk's justifications for being changed.

I think calling people homophobic slurs and telling them to commit suicide should be a perma ban.

Idk, I disagree I think actually. I strongly believe if someone is going to act childish that you should just ignore them because at the end of the day just because someone who you don't know online says something, it shouldn't influence you.

Either act childish back, or block them. In any case, I certainly don't think anyone should say these things either though, I just value freedom of speech.

In all likelihood, I am pretty sure that OP wanted these reactions and is trolling, or is someone who is young considering they're behavior and they're inability to or diswant of actually understanding arguments.

Just wanted to say that, I've been getting this map lately and oh boy this map used to be a nightmare before but after the rework it feels one of the most killer sided maps right now specially with killers that benefit from deadspaces. I don't know what do you think, maybe I'm exaggerating.

Its not killer sided at all, most every map is surv sided and this one is no different. Too many strong loops, and fields of corn offer potential for the killer to be unable to see you working on a gen from distance, forcing manual checks which if it is a low mobility killer can pose issues.

Lmao, then you haven't paid much attention to what dbd is about. After every game if all remaining survs are not harassing the killer then you were getting ruthlessly and relentlessly bullied in game with flashlights, pallets, and perks as a rank 20 trapper. In fact the only reason you didn't get harassed end game, is prolly not because they felt bad when everything was said and done, but so they can crush the hopes and dreams of the next potential new killer as quickly as possible.

Pretty disappointed that we're an 18+ community but still act like toddlers. Five Nights at Freddy's is generally filled with late teens and young adults now, and even by the off-chance that there's a younger fan, I can't believe a ######### 8-year-old can act more mature with what they want and don't want. The posts get really annoying but I find it equally annoying seeing this ######### talk in the comments.

You guys are no better than who you claim you hate.

...For the actual ability, I actually dislike the ideas of controlling multiple entities and the springlocks. He's a very personal murderer and the springlock stuff is overdone and too similar to The Pig. The other animatronic characters to "control" would not aesthetically fit into the game.

I think people underlook two aspects of his character. One is a man so terrified of his own mortality that he kills children as an easy way to test the bounds of death, possibly relating his ability to collecting the supernatural form of agony that is present which allows him to persist longer.

Another that people heavily underlook is how he (most likely) caused the arson in Five Nights at Freddy's 3, and I think starting fires could be a pretty interesting take on a delayed AoE ability that if executed correctly could make survivor interaction actually fun and not the 100th put objects and front of you and crouch from the killer during a chase!

(Also I completely understand people not wanting Springtrap for any reason you want and I fully respect you as well if you treat people with respect! Same goes for those who want him but are dicks about any other license.)

    Geesh, are you ok?

Anyway Eloise, assuming you are not trolling. Better graphics would not affect you in game, its just looks better. No one uses auto run macros normally in dbd. Console has a easier time 360ing then PC does as you have to spam 5 inputs on K&M, while only have to rotate the sticks on controller.

Also just because you can't utilize a aura perk with her does not mean others can't. Just because you might play a high-level team and not get STBL value does not mean myself and other can't. Not to mention you say ruin/undying is better.....That goes in 30 seconds against good teams on most maps not all. I use her dash to end the loop if I crouch and leave great if not they go down it's up to the survivor and the PIG user. Not all experiences are the same.

Also just because you can't utilize a aura perk with her does not mean others can't. Just because you might play a high-level team and not get STBL value does not mean myself and other can't.

Nice fallacy, no. If we are to assume everyone in the trail is great, gens are going to fly while you try to down one surv. She is a M1 killer, you have no disruption, no counterplay. The survs play the killers, and control the game, not the other way around.

Not to mention you say ruin/undying is better.....That goes in 30 seconds against good teams on most maps not all.

If this team in question is that good to where they are consistently getting totems, they certainly are good enough to loop you the game with a basic M1 killer. If they aren't, then assuming ruin did get done that quick, it must of been luck.

I use her dash to end the loop if I crouch and leave great if not they go down it's up to the survivor and the PIG user. Not all experiences are the same.

Then when you said this I laughed, because at this point I am pretty sure you don't understand what I am saying at all, and don't understand this game's power dynamic at all nor why I am saying the things I am saying.

Firstly, only certain loops you can use pigs alt attack to hit. If you are doing this blindly then you instantly are doing something incorrectly. You only do it when you are guaranteed a hit, or when the likelihood of you getting a hit is near certain. To do anything else, such as blindly doing this in hopes a surv might just do X as a reaction is not good. It means the way you play is inconsistent, which for some actions isn't that bad if they can end the game outright or there is no threat. However, to do this vs a "high level" team is willingly forfeiting the game.

I stress that pig has LIGHT antiloop potential. There are reasons for this you know.
