It'd be like Distortion. A perk that's strong when played against the right killer and build but sometimes gets very little value. I don't think everyone would run it and like I said if it got crazy popular then Killers could just run Monitor and Abuse which is a stealth perk thats completely immune to this reworked Spine Chill
It completely outplays stealth killer's and the many undetectable perks and addons in the game. At least with distortion it only counters perks and addon's instead of entire killer powers.
-
Any aura addon on any killer.
-
The only perk I want reworked is septic touch.
-
PLEASE HELP!!
-
Heisenberg w would be much better with some sort of magnetic power.
-
Hard disagree, from what I've seen the original killer was much harder from what the above has said. I think the only killer meta better than this was gen-kick meta, and that was just autopilot for killer's.
-
Rework septic touch to be:
Whenever you injure a survivor with a basic attack, this perk activates. The next time the survivor vaults a pallet or window they receive the broken status affect until this perks maximum amount of survivors affected. This affect is cancelled after applying this affect to more than the maximum amount of survivors allowed or that survivor is hooked. Max amount of survivors is 1/2/3.
This might be overturned, so if someone has any suggestions, I'd like to hear them.

Aces tuxedo that comes with him is easily the best cosmetics that are free.

i get first hits on Oni within 30-40 second of the match and I end up losing with 2 kill/2 escape games. the teams that make Oni lose are teams that actually know how to loop Oni in demon fury and gen-rush effectively while injured.
-------
I forgot what his nerfs were from PTB:
These are ones that I remember off the top of my head
-> Demon strike pallet break increased from 1 second -> 2 seconds.
-> Survivors during demon fury no longer drop blood when injured.
-> Added restrictive turn angle when using demon dash up to 90 degrees.
-> Putting someone in dying state during Demon fury depletes 7 second of demon fury gauge // Tear-Soaked Tenuqui & Ink lion now reduce penalty of demon fury instead of increasing demon fury duration.
Deathslinger/Spirit patch
-Scalp Top Knot
-> Reduces the Charge speed of Demon Dash by -0.5 seconds(Was 1 second).
==============
My biggest problem in these nerfs is nerf #4 and Scalp Top Knot nerf. Oni as a character is suppose punish survivors rushing generator while injured and the way he does that is that he slugs people which slows down generator progression when he has surplus of orbs. Nerf #4 is designed to discourage killer from slugging which prevent him from punishing survivors when injured.
It artificially reduces his demon fury duration to 35 seconds and there is also activation time of 3 seconds, an activation time for charge(2 seconds) and cooldown for downing survivors(3 second). Adding all these mini-cooldown and you get like 30 second power-up. 30 second is too short for Oni to slug at base-kit.
The change actively punishes the killer for being successful at using the ability with only way to mitigate the problem with Lion fang add-on.
The second change that I disagree with is Scalp Top Knot. With 90 degree turning angle, the activation time of the charge is too high for his 90 degree turning angle. Chucky in comparison has 1 second charge time for his Slice & Dice. This changes forces Oni to use a specific turning angle exploit to have relevant chase potencial in demon fury vs stronger looper's. Dead angling Oni demon fury is unfun mechanic because there is no counter-play for Oni to get a hit other than not using the ability. advanced killer tricks should be optional, not mandatory to be relevant. If there is insist on removing the killer trick then at least buff Oni's base demon fury charge to 1.5 seconds. Oni should be scary strong in the chase, not be a worse version of chucky and blight's ability.
I think you have a point with nerf #4, but the addon is fine because it is and insta down attack, which is more powerful than Chucky's slice and dice. He can also use it as a full on mobility rather than a short dash, which is why his is 2 seconds vs Chucky's one second.
-
A couple months ago I played a bit of trapper with insta down traps that reset after 30 seconds. One down cross the map with a random trap 2 minutes in , down a second normally, and the other two got trapped soon after trying to unhook overall the match was about 4 minutes.

Did you seriously call that a tactic? Like in strategy?
People really need to stop normalising camping and tunneling.
It's a legitimate, if unfun strategy.
-
Please explain.
-
Make it so terminus prevents the full heal, doesn't counter Freddy, and not work of hook or being dropped and it's good imo.
-
It's called anti-face camping for a reason.
-
I don't know how you missed, but people have been asking for a DS buff for quite a while.
-
Chucky I think is 4th strongest, as he has some mobility, stealth, and anti-loop with his power, along with easier mind games with his height. He is stronger than oni because although oni insta-downs, a pre dropping survivor can easily waste 2-3 gens time. And during that time he has NO POWER. He is somewhat inconsistent because of this, hence him being weaker than Chucky.
Plague is weaker, as if you don't cleanse, she is an m1 killer, and since the meta against her is no cleansing, I believe she should be lower than Chucky.
Billy I don't think should this be this high due to decently heavy reliance on wide flat maps with fewer windows, as well as it being pretty easy to counter with lockers and windows.
Artist can get cross maps, but they are very likely to heal or be picked up from that. Additionally, her birds are counterable by running from where she places a bird. Also, using lockers instantly removes swarms instantly, my which I think is pretty stupid, but still.
I think spirit is a bit better than Chucky, only because when he gets in his stealth, you know almost immediately and his slice and dice can be stopped with lockers, and dodges can be easier done than spirit. Spirit I feel, has a slightly worse active stealth, but has much better mobility, and is much harder to dodge attacks. Add the fact that her phase attack are affected by exposed, and that's why spirit is better.
Also, as a singularity main, if you maintain slipstream during chase and can find survivors with biopods, your power can very easily overwhelm a vast majority of people, including swfs, which puts him better than alien, but worse than huntress.
Clown is also slightly higher, as he can counter powerful area, such as shack, with proper bottle placement. He is still in the bottom half, as some pallet s on the game and easily pre dropping every pallet are still pretty effective strategies, although somewhat mitigated by bottle placement.
-
I would say singularity is hard, but fun when you get a hang of his power. Knight is pretty buggy, but if you can get past that he's pretty fun to use.
-
I enjoy the east side very much, one of my favorite maps for both sides. West side can go though.
-
Love it!

There are a grand total of 3 killers who can place traps
Trapper who's already weak
Hag who can be ignored by crouch walking, or using a flashlight if you really want
Freddy who can only trap you in sleep mode
It's such a niche, and weak, playstyle that it's fine unless the devs go wild and intentionally start buffing things
For hag you can just go up to it and wipe it now, flashlights don't work anymore on her traps.
-
For knight he needs many bug fixes, guard ai re fixing, and map of the realm base kit.
-
No because many people like him. He's not that bad, and while not the most interactive, it's not the worst, and he's better than twins, nurse and other more unfun killer's.

Pig and Huntress definitely have mangled add-ons, not sure about the rest. Hopefully their changes are a bit more interesting than that, though!
I think the Billy rework was perfect and everyone seems to love it so far, can't say the same for the recent Onryo, Trickster, or Merchant reworks though. It feels like they have the right ideas, but just execute these changes terribly.
Demogorgon and doctor have no mangled addon's have any kind of mangled addon, so they're definitely getting something else. Hopefully buffs for at least doctor.
-
I think infinite tier free insta kill Myers with sling would be absolutely broken, as slinger grabs them, Myer insta kills.
-
I think remove overheat and base increase if speed, as said above. He shouldn't have overdrive or something similar, because unlike Billy, he can hit multiple people during a chainsaw sweep.

It's the same with any original character that uses a licensed skin. Hank - Legion, Felix - Rainbow six, Resident Evil, Feng - Resident Evil, Silent hill. Etc., etc.. They might be original characters but they are wearing licensed outfits. Those skins will always be paid only.
It's not legion that's licensed, it is the skin that's licensed from silent Hill.
-
I think before they do that they should add voice lines for more survivors.

Do people really use STBFL on Trickster?
Probably in some fun, nich build but that's about it.
I'll throw in my two cents and say either keep it how it is right now and also affect m2's, or reverse all changes except for the 4%. Also adding a 16 meter area around hooks where it doesn't work for either change, as the main problem is how easy it is to camp.

I must confess that almost 500hs into the game and I had not noticed that was the pattern.
Still, it'd be nice to have a custom portrait.
I wish that portraits changed based on your cosmetics too.

Billy's "cooldown" is a joke for sure. Spun one out yesterday and couldn't even reach a loop in time when it was right in front of me.
Just checked some stats, and his miss cool down is 2.5 seconds for missed chainsaw base ( not overdrive or addon's) compared to the 1.5 second miss cool down of every killer's lunge attack. I think base cool down is fine, but addon's affecting it are just way to powerful currently.
-
Had some some spare auric cells so I bought him
-
Oni, with friends till the end, sloppy butcher, alien instinct, and lethal pursuer. Addon's are splintered hull and akitos crutch.
DISCLAIMER: I play on console so the picture won't be as good, but I'll try my best to get a picture for your build.
-
He is definitely much more playable for console, and I believe one of the most fun for both sides now.
-
While we have someone here, do you know if any of knights other bugs have been fixed as well?
-
I suggest demo and Chucky, as I find them personally more fun, but I also suggest watching some videos.
-
Dredge with full aura perks with haddies calendar and lavalier microphone.
-
Twins, hag and singularity.
-
I know this is an unpopular opinion, but I believe that knight has the best designed anti loop, excluding bugs.
-
Gonna do it just cause I have some spare cells.
-
Dredge and oni, best designs in looks IMO.
-
I stand that fogwise is a very underrated perk, and is quite strong.
-
I would say huntress is above Billy, due to orbitals and cross maps existing.
-
Don't use any survivor besides ace, and I haven't touched nurse after completing her achievements.
-
Happy new year!
-
A must watch for me.
-
I think batteries included should be higher, but I mostly otherwise agree with this list.
-
Buff septic touch to where it's usable, and the killer and perks will be perfectly fine.
-
I'd say doctor is the gold standard.
-
I use nowhere to hide, pop, lethal, and one random perk, usually don't use add-ons.
-
Billy is always a fun match.
