Top 3 Trickster here. His best build is Corrupt/Ruin/BBQ/Shadowborn. :) Catch people off guard. Press them to bad loops if you can. Don't overcommit to strong loops.

Are u sure BBQ is worth a slot for a 110% killer? I'll try with whispers so Corrupt is not wasted by stealthy rats.

  • I mean, i could play any killer, but im a bit bored u know, i just wanted to try something new, i've been playing huntress for years now 😞

  • @WiiFitTrainer said:

Gen slow down is pretty much mandatory.

You're still going to struggle but I run bbq, ruin, undying, and monitor and abuse with mild success.

You can swap out undying with pop if you want.

I've been using that and also tried Pop, but both builds are pretty mediocre imo, i only 4K when survivors literally throw the game =/

  • The recharge time and duration on base kit, needs a buff.

That's not the team you referenced originally. I suppose it didn't fit your narrative.

Its not the same, but they played similarly, all 4 were Rank 1, blocked me, flashlighted me, had almost the exact perk builds as in the screenshot and so on...

Straight to the article and yes its about face camping, and don't you tell me that face camping has multiple counter plays and I am just "bad", Ill tell you what, I probably have more hours then any of you. Once killers get 1 kill then a 3 v 1 is already hard enough.

Some of you are gonna say "then gen rush". Scenario: a face camped survivor can buy times of 3 generator. Then its 3 survivors vs 1 killer, and then the killer choose the weakest survivor to chase and down him immediately, proceeds to face camp, then you and your teammates are doing gens. The killer knows no one is coming then comes to you and when your teammate knows he will be going for the save. Now the killer goes back to the hook and get a double down. You are the last survivor and your injured, gg.

"Its simple, make camping bannable", said by a pig main.

Face camp is not only easily countered by gen rushing, but also by BT and DS, the best thing the killer could do in this situation is to trade and proceed to face camp the unhooker.

if you got a 32k point 4k they were not genrushing you.

Yes they were trying to, but i did my best to try and stop them even after they broke both my totems.

In what way they were toxic? Because they used a map offering while you were asking us for strong builds for a meta killer?

    Pot and kettle.

As for your builds, any combinations of slowdown plus snowball are fine. She doesn't need anything else and in pub games you can freely use fun combos as well.

This is what a TOXIC CWF looks like:

    Fun.jpg

They were flashlighting me at every corner and at same time from many directions, bodyblocking me all the way to the hooks, gen rushing, blocking my hits on injured survivors, trying to DS me on lockers or recovering up with Unbreakable, jumping into lockers so others could flashlight me no matter what, tea bags and pointing at every pallets...

Ruin/Undying on Nurse (especially a good Nurse, what I would assume is the case with OP) is basically "wanting an easy game".

    @Topic:

As others have said, MMR is not active. Either the Matchmaking had a hickup (which would explain the Rank 17, they probably waited a very long time already for a game, so they got into your game) or it was a full SWF.

So the same could be said about every survivor running Dead Hard, Borrowed Time, Unbreakable and Decisive Strike on my matches, all of them want easy AF games, right?

If i wanted easy games i'd be using addons and Macmillan offerings all day long...

Predator- you said you were playing without headphones so sound becomes infinitely less reliable. scratch marks become your next best bet, and predator can help to make it a lot easier to track. be very careful of sound still, though, as it's still your most valuable tool.

Hex: Ruin- it's the best slowdown perk in dbd

Hex: Undying- your ruin lasts 30 seconds instead of 20

Thrilling Tremours- bbq but better (without the bloodpoint boost)

    Main strategy:

    1) Phase

    2) Hit someone post-phase

    3) Repeat 1&2 until down

    4) Hook survivor

    5) Go to generator not blocked by TT

    6) Let Ruin do it's work

    7) Repeat steps 1-6 until 4 survivors are dead.

Well, i've already used the first 3 perks several times, but i've never tested TT on her, i guess i should, thanks for the tips!

No headphone Spirit is.......... a flex.

Well, you won't be hearing subtle sounds like footsteps, so Whispers is basically mandatory for you because of Iron Will. You'll get hate for it in endgame chat, but you're a Spirit with presumably bad audio, so yeah.

The objectively best perks remaining would be corrupt intervention, ruin, pop.

If you want a more unique style that can also be hilariously effective and downright evil, try ruin undying Haunted.

Yo i just combined your suggestions and now im being really successful with her, you guys really helped, thanks!

    Final Build:

    • Thrilling Tremors
    • Ruin
    • Undying
    • Whispers

Out of 10 matches, only 1 of them had 2 survivors escaping, it was a full Rank 1 TOXIC CWF that sent me to Badhams and broke my totems within 1 minute, they gen rushed me, but at least i mannaged to hook everyone twice and got 2 kills.

In general the build is pretty strong, but if u are constantly getting gen rushed i'd suggest to use NOED instead of Whispers.

Doesn't matter what Op is implying, killers just want easy games. It's all they want out of mmr, proven by the complaining when bhvr did their test.

Oooooh, look what we have here, a classic Survivor Main.

If you're not using headphones I wouldn't even play her.

That's like asking for a Trapper build where you don't use traps. It doesn't make any sense.

So, you are saying that Spirit is trash tier and a headphone is mandatory if you want to make her viable? That doesnt make any sense to me.

MMR is not active I think

I mean, i was facing Rank 1s all day long with other killers, but then the game decided that a Legacy 3 nurse should play with a bunch of Rank 20s all of the sudden, if it wasnt MMR, then idk who to blame :X

  • I like to play Kate because of her ass and Elodie because of her wonderful scream that sounds like music to my ears :)

This perk is too inconsistent on any killer other than Plague and Legion

Ohoho, u actually know what im talking about, what i meant with my comment was "Just Play Plague or Legion if you hate it so much".

Dead Hard is a crutch, it really hurts, but there is not much we can do about it =/

  • Yes, i got it one or two days after launch, i played with Wraith for five or so matches and then quit, i just started to actually Play the game after the Last Breath Chapter, been doing so for over 3k hours now...

That sounds hilariously awful. Removing a hook state from a survivor just because you have a perk. It would allow you to tunnel the survivore right into death hook

Well, its not my fault if they get downed near the basement, it would encourage new builds which would attempt to hook everyone in the basement, so there is the variety the OP is asking for.

  • Salty Comments on my profile.

But if you arent talking about DbD, i'd suggest u to play something relaxing such as Stardew Valley. Oh yes, such a good game to enjoy after DbD matches...

  • Doctor and Legion probably... But i'd just use any killer with BBQ and a 100%+ BP offering.

    • Monstrous Shrine: When a survivor is hooked inside the basement 20/40/60 seconds is instantly removed from their life bar.
  • My last comment explaining the entire build and strategy dissapeared when i tried to edit a typo, so i wont explain as much, but when playing Hag just use these and you are good to go:

    • Corrupted Intervention
    • Franklins Demise
    • Save The Best For Last
    • Make Your Choice

Okay so this isn't hate or anything towards game but it got boring as hell, we go against same two killers over and over (Spirit and nurse) survivor objective hasn't changed a bit for 5 years, adding killers that can't catch my grandma and not survivor I'm sorry but in 5 years this game should be shinning it's completely opposite from it... I love this game but I can't even force myself to go through 2 whole games both surv and killer hopefully Resident evil chapter will bring this game some excitement back because rn it's not in good spot at least for me

    Spirit? Fixated + Spine Chill.

Nurse? Hold Shift + W and break line of sight.

Was that hard? I think not.

  • @gatsby said:

Killer isn't fun. It gets worse and worse the higher you rank up. Playing a weak Killer against top tier Survivors is literally a machoistic bully simulator.

So why do most people play it? Bloodpoints. When you're good at Killer you can realistically get 28-32k points every game plus all four BBQ Stacks without doing literally anything or having to play around the perk at all for +100%.

56k to 64k. Not counting offerings is pretty standard for a good Killer.

Survivors that are decent can maybe get an average of 20k bloodpoints per match, with a lot more variance because its heavily based on their team and the killer so its less in their control. WGLF is an average to mediocre perk that's more niche and less game changing than Unbreakable. Also, unless you're soft throwing for stacks, its relatively unlikely you'll get all four WGLF stacks every match through normal gameplay. Two or Three is way more likely for +50-75%.

33k (ish). Not counting offerings is pretty standard for a good Survivor.

People still play Survivor despite this bloodpoint difference, but would people still play Killer if they got drastically less bloodpoints? I highly doubt it.

Im a killer main who plays since the game's launch and i asure you that i dont play for points, nor ranks.

    I play to 4K every match, if i don't 4K i consider it as a loss.

I also enjoy reading salty comments on my profile, they make my day and thats what im really looking for when i play killer.

  • Hag is not the best killer in the game, but she is a top tier killer able to destroy normal matches and also defeat TOXIC CWFs if played well...

Her best build without addons at Rank 1 is:

    • Corrupted Intervention
    • Franklins Demise (or Dark Devotion if nobody is carrying itens)
    • Save The Best For Last
    • Make Your Choice

You should start the match by placing at least 4-5 traps on half the map before engaging any chases, use the time provided by Corrupted Intervetion to do that, not to focus on chasing survivors (as most other killers would).

Trap placement should be on path intersections, windows, pallets, hooks and dropped itens (also gens if there is nowhere else to trap).

Remember to stay close to your traps, if you trapped half the map and decides to walk around on the other side, you will probably miss their activation and free hits they provide you.

Just because you have MYC it doesnt mean you always have to stay away from the hook, if the survivors are swarming it, just trap all the nearby routes and protect the hook with Best for Last.

With this build and the advises i just gave, any Hag should be able to perform well from now on, good luck and have fun wipping the floor.
