Nerfing WoO wouldn't change the fact that many maps are just ridicious in the tiles they can spawn together.

Really? Because no one seemed to get upset when I said "I concede" at the last Magic: The Gathering tournament I went to. Nor does anyone seem to complain about it when their opponent presses the Concede button in Hearthstone or MTG Arena. They just take their win and move on, like a good sportsman should, instead of demanding that their opponent continue to helplessly squirm for another 5 minutes.
MTG and other TCGs tournaments have time limits to play a best of 3. And just in general, 1v1 card games have rules for conceding.
DBD has no rules for conceding a match and punishes people for quitting out of a match. Plus DBD has challenges and achievements so killers quitting and forcing the match to end messes with those.

Just don’t spam space (or whatever button it is on console) and you’ll be fine.
Spamming the button has nothing to do with it. I've been sucked into a locker next to a window vault on Garden of Joy and I only pressed the button once. Some lockers are simply just too close to vaults and being tied to the same button as vault means sometimes you just get screwed by the game putting priority on the locker.

I was working on Outbreak Breakout achievement and had the killer d/c when there was 1 gen left with no hooks. So the penalty is absolutely deserved.
-
Furtive Chase switches the obsession when the obsession is unhooked.

No one is going to be able to answer this.
The devs are unlikely to touch knight this next mid chapter and they haven't said anything about adjusting knight.
-
One thing that should change is perks with effects on regressing generators should stop once the gen is fully regressed.
No Eruption Incap explosion if the gen is fully regressed. No Overcharge skillcheck if the gen is fully regressed. And CoB should lose the notification once the gen is fully regressed.

You can't apply either of those independently of each other though, that's great that they synergize through a bugged input but the whole point is to have abilities work as intended.
We have no idea if it's intended that repressed alliance and blast mine are used at the same time.
It was never intended you keep blast mine if the Killer doesn't kick the gen which got fixed witg wiretap release.

Idk if the icon not going away upon being hit by FF is a bug, because you could mend and be able to take a hit due to OTR's endurance. But Endurance was changed so that it does nothing if you are in deep wounds.

And ultimately the devs can't really punish players who die on hook, because sometimes your teammates just don't save you.I'm not asking for dying on hook to be punished. I'm creating a way to remove using first-hook to ragequit while dodging a DC penalty.
https://forums.bhvr.com/dead-by-daylight/discussion/comment/3301726#Comment_3301726
Sure. I'll try to remember that when I get another 5 matches where I find someone, and they hook-DC as quick as possible because they hated the map. Or my Killer. Or my perks. Or they were found first. Or they hated my keychain-things.
Well just let them continue to ruin matches instead of fixing the exploits they use to get around DC penalties.
Someone can die on their first hook, because their teammates never rescued them.
-
Rage quitting isn't technically against the rules. It's disconnecting from the match that is against the rules. Letting yourself die on hook has always been allowed. And ultimately the devs can't really punish players who die on hook, because sometimes your teammates just don't save you.

Yes, but if you are solo, you have no way of knowing the exact moment someone will go down. It's not like Pain Resonance, sadly.
You don't even need to know the exact moment the survivor is hooked for pain res. You can see the bar pause when picked up. Meaning you can easily let go anytime before the hook in the case you are blinded.
-
Survivors get a penalty for not rescueing a survivor who was hooked (as long as it was not already their death hook) in the emblems and the mmr changes made it so mmr is adjusted based on the number of survivors that escape.
Not really sure what else you want since survivors are already have a reason to save as many people as they can.
-
If you're like me, your killer games end up matching you with survivors who actually try to win whereas your survivor teammates are allergic to gens.

People were saying the numbers were wrong, they couldn't believe she was up there
But in my experience, I normally don't escape on a match against sadako. I can't recall the last time I escaped her
Got Nurse twice this week and escaped twice, but the only time I faced Sadako she got a 4k, as usual
Maybe she isn't good in top MMR? Cause in the MMR I am right now she's oppressive as #########
How are the Sadakos you playing against play? I've certainly lost to a few who play mean with her power.
I faced a Sadako last night who was trying to pull of Devour Hope and they only gotten their 3rd hook a little before the last gen popped. She has to play mean otherwise she's doesn't do anything since her power has little innate ability to help at tiles and condemn is something you have to play around otherwise it's ignorable (I left with 4 stacks without touching a single tv).
-
The only thing you can still do while incapacitated are:
Open the exit gate and leave
Leave through the hatch
Drop pallets or vault
Enter a locker
and I believe you should still be able to unhook other survivors
Incapacitated status effect isn't bad itself. Pinhead chains and Victor attached to a survivor incapacitate them which makes sense to prevent survivors from doing much when they have a means to remove the source inflicting it. But Eruption causing 25 seconds of it is a bit too much.

I'm going to just go ahead and drop this real quick for no reason at all:
- His power utilizes three npcs, each with their own speeds, up-times, and skills, but the killer cannot specifically pick the one they want, they have to cycle between whatever's up next, removing any tactical deployment.
- He comes to a full and complete stop when he turns on his power.
- Survivors vanish from his screen as he's using his power.
- Actually drawing out a patrol path takes time and using anything on the fly leaves the guards basically stationary.
- His guards have a delay between when they're deployed, when they appear, when they notice a survivor, and when they actually start moving.
- The survivor can see the spawn-spot where the guard will (eventually) spawn
- Survivors see the radius the guards can detect them at, allowing them to stay 100% safe at all times.
- Survivors move faster than 2 out of 3 of the guards, making it impossible to hit them with the guards unless the survivors run directly into them (despite being able to see where the guards are from a great distance).
- The guards have extremely short uptime AND have a "turn off" button in the form of a banner that can be tapped to instantly dispel the guard.
- If the survivor DOES tap the banner, they gain both Sprint Burst AND Endurance, making them both invulnerable to damage AND lets them get away from any possible repercussions
- The AI on all the guards is exactly as bad as the Nemesis Zombies - a killer released a year and a half ago and STILL not adequately fixed
- If you have one guard deployed, you cannot deploy another guard and there's a delay between when the original guard goes away and when you can deploy the next one. Which kind of makes it COMPLETELY pointless to have three of them and EXTRA absurd that you can't pick which one you're going to deploy.
- His knights make a tremendous amount of noise, broadcasting their presence to all survivors, even if they ignore the visual warnings, and preventing the killer from listening to the survivor noises they need to track.
- The knight can't actually enter his power whenever he wants to, you have to tweak your physical location slightly to be able to enter it, making things even more difficult to do on the fly
All the guards move faster than survivors when hunting. 2 are 102% and 1 is 110%.
-
BT has never worked with cages so I don't see why basekit BT would work with cages either. The whole point of the cages were to ignore hook related perks.
Besides, the cages already have some built-in anti-tunnel/camp functionality to them. PH can't see the aura, the cages go the furthest point away and if he stays too close (Arguably the distance could be a big larger) then the cages teleport somewhere else.

The achievement is certainly a pain to get (I'm at 16/20), but killers you get matched with are in no way required to let you escape. Take a breather and step away from trying to get the achievement for a bit.
-
Yes it's the fault of the survivors for not letting themselves get instantly killed out of the game.

You are not supposed to teleport 24/7, 7 TVs is just enough to get a few hits and still chase someone down. Meantime, 100 seconds will go rather quick if not... you are still a 4.6 m/s killer
We are not playing around condemntion at all, to the point we don't even keep the track of our stacks. She is good even with no use of addons, speaking about Iri Tape that is one of the best.
Survivors de-activating TVs is a balancing matter that I can understand from a developer point of view to not make the game suffocating from the other party (survivors).
If you aren't teleporting, you have no map pressure. Sadako is no threat in chase and her stealth has a lullaby. So if you want to walk around the map trying to chase survivors one at a time, the gens will simply get done.

IMO Condemtion strat not only that is slow, but I feel like it's hard to manage. I do not like it
However, I see people doing good anyhow
I'm not even talking about the Condemnation strat. I'm talking about her pressure on the map, because her map pressure wears out really quickly if you teleport and don't have Iri Videotape.
Survivors have no reason to take tapes and spend time doing that with Sadako's basekit. Even with her tv cd addons, it doesn't matter until she runs Iri Videotape. Having a few stacks of condemn means absolutely nothing and it really isn't until you start getting to 5 stacks where removing condemn is important.
-

Exactly! The cooldown doesn't exist only after the teleporation and unless condemned survivors are not actually doing tapes.
Way effective if you are not playing around condemntion at all. Use tvs solely for map mobility and then manifestation/demanfestation and killer's size to use mindgames and end/up chases.
Use map mobility to quickly switch between the survivors and kill optimally creating immense pressure on the entire map.
Condemnation takes way too long to passively build up from teleporting that it's really not a pressure tool. If you are teleporting everywhere and putting your tvs on cooldown, you're effectively giving each survivor a single stack every 100 seconds. Which is super slow. This doesn't even consider the fact she her condemnation has range and only applies after the teleport. Some TV placements mean survivors can easily run out of range before the teleport finishes.
I've played against many different Sadakos and unless they are using Iri Videotape, there's practically no reason to touch the tvs. Without touching a tv, you'll often end around 3-4 stacks of condemn which is nothing.
-
She's only good if you either take advantage of condemnation to force kills ignoring hooks or you take advantage of iri videotape allowing you to have near constant mobility by resetting your tvs that normally have too long of a CD.
Her stealth is not really that stealthy due to the lullaby and her phasing can certainly throw survivors off, but she just doesn't do much if she's forced to chase survivors.

Is mid-chapter soon?
I'm expecting just the icons to be thrown in and that's it. Maybe next chapter release will bring mori update though.
Mid-Chapter should be early next year. Generally when the rift ends is around the time we get the mid-chapter ptb.
-
Because Killers find it fun to run around objects for minutes.
-
Because you can't really fix other players which is the main issue with solo queue. Doesn't matter how good you are, if your teammates don't do anything.
-
Then turn off crossplay if PC players are such a problem.

There are barely ever meaningful changes or fixes.
And you think the devs doing more mid chapters will change that?
-
That's what the mid chapters are for. Every patch always comes with many bug fixes. You already get your health chapters.
-
Iron Will is fine. It helps you stealth but doesn't prevent the killer from locating you if they get close.
-
As long as the killer is another player and the goal is for killers to kill survivors, tunneling is always going to exist.

No, that's not true. Going to another gen = incapacitation is already gone. It solves everything.
You want the survivor to leave the gen with progress on it to go to a different gen that has no progress on it, because the status will wear off.
When you can just stay around the gen with progress on it and wait out the status.
You claim to play 80% survivor, but you really honestly don't know what you are talking about.
-

If you run over to another gen the incapacitated effect has run out by then. Idk why you so mad.
I'm not mad. I'm simply stating that your solution of "run to another gen to repair it instead" does not solve anything, because the status keeps you from working on any gen. And if we're just trying to buy time until the status wears off, then hiding near the gen accomplishes the same thing.
-
You can't repair another gen while incapacitated. Just the first sentence is enough to know that you don't know what you are talking about.
Eruption is a problem, because the duration of locking survivors out of action and the cooldown are basically the same. Meaning there's very little wiggle room to make progress against the perk unless the killer is just significantly worse than your team.
-
Fogwise triggers on Great Skill Checks. Overcharge isn't a Great Skill Check.
-
This is not the change this addon needs. Both tombstone addons need to be changed from being able to kill survivors ignoring all hook states.
-
@OmniSkeptic said:

That’s not the problem. Getting the majority of the gens done is meaningless. Getting ALL of the gens is the only thing worth anything if there is more than one survivor. And this becomes virtually impossible when there are only two survivors remaining because a killer is never going to struggle patrolling 3 generators against 2 survivors. Now 5 possible generators, where 2 are more important than the others and generally spawn separate from each other, is far more reasonable for 2 survivors to do.
Getting the last done in a 3v1 isn't that difficult. It only becomes difficult for the survivors when the killer outplays them and gens don't get done.
-
Survivors are perfectly capable of getting most of the gens done before the first survivors dies.
-
If a killer able to tunnel a survivor out of the game and the survivors have gotten no gens done. That's the fault of the survivors. Punishing the killer for the survivors playing poorly is the wrong way to balance the game.
-

Distortion does very little for me vs. lethal because I spawn with teammates. When the killer goes after them, they tend to find me as well.
Which is fine. It's just odd how my experience contrasts with OPs of spawning alone and getting singled out. I'd much rather spawn by myself.
Distortion gives you 10 seconds of no scratch marks when it blocks aura reading. You can simply just run away from your teammates.
-
It was better before they changed. Seeing auras of survivors in your TR while a survivor was speared at least gave you some information to use.

Against certain killers, it's literally uncounterable. Like Myers with 99 T3, Ghostface with 99 marks, Bubba, Billy, Clown with Pinky finger, Blight with Iri Tag, Huntress with Iri Hatchet, Slinger with Iri Coin. That's a very generous portion of the roster, but imo, it's most problematic on Bubba. On the others, you can force a 1 for 1 trade when the person being camped is near death on 2nd hook stage. Assuming you are running Reassurance, you can waste a LOT of a killer's time and essentially run all 5 gens while they're busy facecamping. In the end, you may have to concede a 1k, but that's a massive loss for the killer.
On Bubba though, it's a different story.
Slinger with Iri Coin isn't that effective at facecamping, because you need to 15m away for the shot. Survivors have more than enough warning to dodge the shot.
Not saying you can't camp with it, but it's not in a facecamping situation where you are close to the hook.
I would also say Blight's Iri Tag is hard to use facecamping, because of the multiple slams you need to do first.
