Forgot this forum is full of killers lmao.
Forgot to mention i'm rank 1 survivor and killer.
Slugging till death is ######### stupid, stop trying to back it up.
As someone who is also a rank 1 survivor and killer, slugging is completely fine. It's a genuine tactic which can be countered by multiple perks.
Is it annoying that the killer left you there for 4 minutes. Absolutely. I'd hate for that to occur to someone, but is it still a tactic which has counters? Yes.
-
And unhook was changed to unlock by auto correct, and editing isn't working right now...great.
As for taking the post seriously, I'm going to have to agree with you by saying Kate has the most intriguing lore out of all characters, with Zarina and Jeff close behind.
-
"What killer do you think has the most intriguing lore? My pick is Kate."
So that explains why Kate wasn't unlocking me earlier.

Thanks dude, although you should probably take my place. I'm battling alot of #########, and chances of me making through it are slim, no point in making someone a trusted who could just disappear one day without a trace.

Thanks for all our trusted members for everything! Hope I live long enough to see many, many more come through, because quite frankly we need them.

So in your opinion i should run every perk just in case i get in that situation unbreakable is useless 99% of the time but game changing that 1% of games. Also i guess u enjoy getting slugged on the ground since its just smth I don't enjoy but everyone loves, just like how everyone loves moris and keys. Your point just makes no sense and if i as a player am not allowed to play the game cuz some kid had a bad day how is that my fault and why should i get penalized instead of the kid
Ok mate, just because you can't take 4 minutes out of your day because not only you, but your whole team got downed means you've definitely lost, but you should just wait the 4 minutes. I hate being slugged, and I have the same opinion about moris and keys, but it's a viable tactic. It's like asking for tunneling, camping and gen rushing to be bannable.

Yes, that's exactly what backrevving is. Revving when you're very close so that the chainsaw is impossible to miss.
In other words: It takes no skill whatsoever and bragging about being accurate with backrevs is like going, "Not to brag but I tend to be really good at hitting Survivors with Myers's T3 attack."
Glad I remembered something then. Not all my shots are like this though, although majority are.
-
This is completely fine. Use those 4 minutes for something else such as going on your phone, or do other things in real life, such as talk to family, friends or roommates, or even if you live alone than you can do something else.
Additionally there are perks for slugging, mainly tenacity and Unbreakable.
Finally, they'll never make a legitimate tactic that's viable a bannable offence. Just because you don't like it doesn't mean it should be bannable.

I think you and I have different definitions of backrevving. My response was meant to be very sarcastic.
My apologies then.
I don't watch alot of Hillbilly gameplay, so I just assumed backrevving was being right at their back.
Or maybe I've just completely forgotten because its 11 and me and my mates decided to go last night without sleep living on Guinness.

You must be really good at backrevving.
Going to brag here, I can't remember the last time I've missed a backrev (although I don't play near as much as I used to).

That much can at least be justified with "I don't want my blood and injured noises giving me away" or "the Killer has Thanatophobia/Blood Echo/some other Perk that punishes me for being injured" or "I want to force Billy to chainsaw me instead of going M1/I don't want to be injured in case the T3 fades away while I'm being chased" or something like that.
With Legion, it's just "I denied the Killer a power that takes twenty seconds to recharge and forced him to go after me in exchange for throwing away the incalculably valuable chase Perk I equipped".
As someone who mains Hillbilly and Legion, for Hillbilly I'll miss about once every 10 times unless I'm ambitious and really think I can hit something.
As for Legion, if I see an injured person I'm going to go for them rather than hitting them and going for someone else.
-
Nemesis combined with play with your food is great and helps you catch up when you need it.
Other than that your basic perks such as BBQ, Infectious, Whispers and so on also work well.

As someone who only plays the game a few times a week due to ######### mentality caused be receiving messages (you'd understand if you were in my position) I disagree with the second point completely.
-
I'm also confused at people who use self care while facing a Hillbilly who only chainsaws.
-
You can't have burgers and hotdogs without ketchup.
-
It's a meh perk to me. I've never really used it unless I'm playing a killer I'm not comfortable with.

Maybe, just maybe, what’s being played is called a ‘game’. A game is meant to be fun for everyone. Not for some scumbag to take the easy option because they’re too bad to get proper kills or more than 4 downs and hooks. You’re clearly a tunneller and you’re trying to justify it. It’s a disgrace and it involves no skill whatsoever.
Tunnellers and facecampers are just people that abuse the fact that survivors need to get saves to progress in the game, and without this, they can’t. So the easy option is to camp and wait for someone to come for them (as they have to) because they’re not skilled enough to leave the person to be unhooked and chase someone else whilst being confident they can re-down that person again. Hence my point that survivors are punished for facecampers and tunnellers, which is wrong.
ANYONE can facecamp and ANYONE can tunnel. Jump on dbd mobile and watch every single killer facecamp. Do you know why? Because they’re new to the game and they’re bad so it’s the only way they can secure at least 1 kill. That’s a fact on a new game and you can see for yourself. There is no skill involved in this whatsoever.
Also, as far as your comment goes about ‘their job is to kill you’... I think that’s blazingly obvious, but the aim of the game is to earn pips and bloodpoints, which comes easier by more downs and hooks on top of chase time. It’s really not that difficult to work it out.
And in every game there is a winner. And if you want to win, are you going to care about your opponents? Of course not. You're going to care about yourself. You're meant to kill, you're not meant to let survivors have fun at the expense of your own.
People are going to want to win because it releases ecstasy in the brain, it makes them feel better.
And the aim of the game differs per person. I've got every perk I need in the game, and I'm rank 1, so for me it would simply be to get kills.

I use unbreakable and rarely get the chance to use it, decisive strike is good for one escape before getting tunnelled again? So forcing a survivor who has 3 hooks stages for a reason to use all their hook stages in one go and not allowing them to get their objectives done or earn points is playing the game fairly is it?
Yes, it's very fair, because maybe, just maybe, the Killers job is to kill. Why should the Killer care about you getting points? Their job isn't for you to have fun. It's to kill you.
-
You lost me at "So when the game puts people with killers who clearly can’t play the game properly or fairly."
This is playing the game properly, and how is it not fair? They're trying to kill you efficiently. If you're so worried about tunneling then use decisive strike. There is a perk there for it. And if they slug use Unbreakable and/or tenacity.
-
"As a good team we did everything to get the guy from the hook."
This is not what you want to do, as in this scenario you are rewarding the killer for camping.
If this was a Bubba and not a Doctor it would have been a 4k.
-
I P3 50d my Claudette before even touching killer because back then killer had very long queue times.
-
This never occurs to me... what ping to you usually have?
-
Do people keep on forgetting that there are different teams, there are cosmetic teams, teams that develop new content, ones that fix the bugs, and many more.
-
@aregularplayer said:
do you know you can get the adpet even with a 3k? :3
Depends on your rank...in red ranks this doesn't apply.
-
I've never seen anyone complain about Spront Burst, a looping is a tactic, as is tunneling and camping.
-
Actually as a solo survivor I quite enjoy it. I find it much more relaxing than playing killer.
-
If you got exhausted than it means you did it too early.
-
Eac may ban you, the devs allow you doing this however at your own risk.
-
There's an add on for this, I believe its red string?
-
Calm Spirit doesn't completely counter docs powers. Doc can still shock the survivor to make them not be able to vault windows and drop pallets.
No Mither would basically completely counter Oni if this would happen. Imagine survivors all went in using No Mither and they ended up facing an Oni. He would have nothing.
-
Ok hear me out.
The more often DBD do it, the less it feels special when we do get one.
Additionally, they usually only do it over a week end and the devs usually do it within reason, however when they did the 1.5 multiplier for bp, it was over three weeks (I believe) due to quarantine.
I'd be up for a weekend when Pyramid Head comes out due to the anniversary, but a whole month is a bit long.
-
They're not hard to learn, but personally, to master and get 4ks somewhat consistently is difficult. Opinions are subjective.
-
With pig I'd say Corrupt. Trapping survivors always gains you time, but you crucially need that early game.
-
Gonna go away from the crowd and say Wraith and Bubba. Both of them are easy at first but extremely hard to master.
-
Well done mate, this looks really good and up there with the best I've seen so far.
-
Let's start out with All Sorted
All sorted would only be useful in very specific totem builds, and even then it would usually be better to bring a fourth Hex. If you're bring ing two hexes (let's say Devour Hope and Haunting Grounds) then it could be helpful, but even then you're better off running two normal perks.
Wrong Choice is a great perk and I don't see any problems with it. Maybe reduce the time to 20/25/30 seconds due to egc only being 120 seconds.
Come to me is a real hit or miss perk. If all survivors are fine and the edit gates are within an average range then it's a useless perk.
If both the gates are close by or you're chasing someone, then this perk is great. Personally, make it so that after 30/20/10 seconds upon the last generator being finished all survivors gain the exhausted status effect. Upon the start of egc all survivors gain the oblivious status effect. Keep the mori part.
-
Glad you've seen the nicer side of the community, hopefully it'll grow and glad we've got another one.

Red like everyone else. Makes me wonder how red rank survivors get caughed by a camper so easily though. No wonder why the many SWF. Time to join my SWAT squad and be part of the probem.
Then yes he did depip. Also play the way you want. If you want to play with your friends with your main goal to be toxic, then go do that.

He depipped with less than 9k points. Not like I care about that, but don’t try to make it look better than it is fot whatever stupid reason.
Depends on his rank. What rank was he may I ask.
-
A small one. As someone who mains Legion, I think many people heavily under rate him, when in actual fact he's not so weak. Some small buffs would make him better (such as not so long of a stun or his power lasts for longer, but nothing major).
-

I play killer more than survivor. It’s a depip 100%. 3 Hooks at total and even camping them. Noone walked out with anything thus it was a pointless match for all.
I'm aware you'd depip off that, yet that's disconnect could've got him a safety pip because he had two quick chases, and ended the game with two generators.
-

Clean your glasses than. He still didn’t got me though.
You disconnected, so you lost, and he gets both bloodpoints and points in the emblem system related to hooks.
So he didn't physically get a 4k, but he's rewarded as if he did. No need to waste my time cleaning.
-
@Gomolazoli said:

He was trash at chases. 3 Gens popped during the only chase he had. The other downs he got was from camping of course which takes no skill especially when you’re throving mini buses around.
And yet you and your team rewarded it. From what I see he deserved the 4k because yous granted her it.
-
Well basement is for the survivors having to spend more time while going to a dangerous area in which they can be downed quickly. If your team all died to a camper, then that means either the killer was extremely efficient in chases and the survivors were poor at gens, or the survivors tried to make a basement save.
-
From my understanding a chase starts when a killer is looking at a survivor within 12 meters of them while that survivor is running, a chase starts.
A chase ends after the survivor is outside a certain range or the killers line of sight for 5 seconds there or there about.

considering the game refreshes its DC count daily... to be able to get it that high at all would seem like a GIANT glitch.
My bad, I've never been aware of when it resets so thanks for informing me.
-
There is no way to tell the difference between someone who is disconnecting intentionally and someone who isn't disconnecting intentionally.
Also, if you have a 72 hour ban, then you either have sub par internet or you have a weak device to run the game on.
