Also if you're the wrong Survivor or bad outfit can get you in trouble too. One killer went after my friend solely because he HATES Nea with a bright wig lol I had another killer that wiped Feng and Yui asap. I was Steve that match and was able to escape easily, hooked twice then left alone. I asked him if those two were BM, he said he hates Asian girls and will always kill those characters but loves Steve mains and always sets them free. Anyway sometimes you never know why things happen so i agree it can be out of your control.

True. I onced played Steve and encountered a killer that always brings a Mori for Steve's and Claudette's.

The game is certainly not very healthy for a lot of peoples minds.

I came back to DBD after a break and I've been tunneled to death in every game I've played, so far. I was excited to do the the new archive but I think I'm ready for another break after two days worth of being tunneled. I don't think there is a solution. I think the event is inspiring people to get as many points as possible and tunneling is an easy way to accomplish that. Half of the time when someone unhooks me, if anyone unhooks me, at all, it almost feels like they're working with the killer. I'm tired of being in the middle of everyones greedy point grabs in this game. It seems like this game is really fun for about 1-2 years and then you get stuck playing with the same tunnelers over and over and it gets really old really quick. Maybe I should just play killer and tunnel everyone too and then it might be more fun somehow? At least I wouldnt be wasting anniversary cakes bc nobody can tunnel the killer. I just don't think that seems like fun though. What does everyone else do when they get tunneled, seemingly no matter what, every game?

But tunneling doesn't give you many points. That's the funny thing about that. At least if the killer really tunnels someone. Because no... it isn't tunneling if you get unhooked and the killer downs you again because he was in the area. Tunneling means focusing on only one person until that person is dead and that isn't very rewarding and it doesn't work, at least not in red ranks.

Either way....it isn't funny to get farmed but the only thing that you can do is equip DS and move on. There will be better games too.

Recently had a match where I ran CI, and when I came to one of the blocked gens a player got up from it and the bloody thing had progressed to two cylinders already. All while the Entity was still wrapped around it.

Is it a bug or did I catch a cheater?

I had a similar situation but the cheater was already able to work on that gen while no one was able to move. I noticed it because I got a notifcation of a failed skillcheck while the map was still loading. I am not sure about your case though. Could be a cheater, could be a bug.

  • The majority that uses this perks are behaving like complete jerks. No need to give them a free escape. They basically have the best cheats in the game combined with playing in a SWF. If they are still not maninging to escape with all that information then they should probably start playing Tetris.

The devs won't be nerfing OoO if more people would escape with it because they haven't touched DS, Adrenaline, BT and DH, eventhough these perks are increasing the average escape rate tremendously.

  • I think so too. As killer I only got really really good survivors for the last week and barely any potatoes which made me a little bit sceptical what was going on.

  • A lot of maps are needing a rework. But I agree with Hoodied. Midwich is the only map that both sides are struggeling on and that makes it the worst map.

It is actually sad considering how much effort was put into the design. The map itself is great but not for a game like DBD.

Did they add any hills to that map?

If not that's kinda sad, a perk cannot be used on a very specific map.

That's not entirely true. You can still activate balanced landing if you jump down the basement.

  • You are giving them what they are wanting : attention.

Why even bother? Most teabbaggers are going down in under ten seconds anyways.

  • I think that all in all the devs do a good job balancing.

    "Just pressure gens".

Yeah. Seems about right. Who needs nurse if I can just walk with my cool lil' hag around Mother's Dwelling. Survivors will fear the pressure that my presence is radiating from far across the map.

  • I had a defect memory the last time the DC penalty was activated. I had around 4-5 crashes in a row every single day and I only got hit with the penalty twice. Don't really know why some people are having heavy issues with that and some don't. After I fixed the problem with my memory I never had crashes again. The game itself runs pretty stable aside from a few error's here and there. So I think you should check your PC.

Oh and btw: I rather have a ban for 5 minutes when my game crashes than having a DC almost every second game. The game was unplayable without the penalty. There are just too many broken ego's in the game right now for the penalty to be switched off.

DBD is a great game but it sadly consist of alot of babies.

  • You think it is fun getting stunned a million times in a row?

I smell some strong masochistic vibes here.

  • A topic is only really dead if it has become a non issue.

I already posted above a very detailed dev reply where they specifically said “we always intended swfs to be in the game from the beginning and that they would play on comms and we would never consider being on comms to be cheating.”

I doesn't really matter what the devs are thinking because they implemented SWF so the game has an active playerbase. They know very well that they need SWF's. But the sad truth is that they don't even play their game enough to make good decisions, eventhough the game seems to be leading in a good direction now. I remembered when one of the devs played killer against four korean survivors, gettting bullied non stop with insta flashlights. He was pissed after that game and....surprise: they fixed flashlights. But they didn't fixed them before when people were saying they are OP and shouldn't exist. They only fixed it because one person was forced to play killer during a live stream. That scenario is a perfect example why you can't take the devs seriously when they say that the game is fine and fair. They don't play their own game in a way that gives them enough information to make balanced chances.

So...if they would have a realistic view about their game (which we all know by now, they don't), they would see that the game design isn't working with SWF. You don't even need to play DBD that often to come to this conclusion. And you know: I am pretty sure they know. They are not stupid. But they are too afraid to make the survivor side mad so they stay away from reworking the SWF system.

SWF is an implementation that doesn't harmonize with the core design of the game and is literally and overkill. Sure...killers have improved and have found ways to play as optimally as the could to win against these teams but it is not on the killer side if they win. It is on the survivors to make mistakes.

So...a tool that completely ignores certain game mechanics to give one side a massive advantage that has no counterplay to it, even if it is legally implemented, is cheating. No matter if the devs want it to be in the game or not. It is what it is.

  • @SunderMun said:

    https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/1687035#Comment_1687035

Tru3's video full of 'counterplay' doesn't work against anyone with half a brain and it's depressing he thought that would be helpful; wasting resources and yet still going down in a short amount of time is not counterplay.

I used it a lot of times and it works against most Spirits.

You will always go down in a short amount of time against a Spirit. That will also happen against a good Nurse. That's just something you have to expect and accept. But it's better to buy yourself and the team every second you can get instead of doing nothing. Mindgaming a Spirit or a Nurse one time eventhough you go down shortly after is a win for the team. Tru3 even said it in his video: "This game isnt a 1v1, the killer IS supposed to have the advantage in a 1v1 situation and the survivor doesnt need to escape to rank up nor be chased for 5 gens. Your goal as a survivor is to waste as much time as you can from them in chase while the others do gens".

And I also wouldn't call it wasting resourses considering there are in most cases plenty enough pallets and even if you would waste all of them it is probably already endgame and everyone escapes. Throwing down a pallet to have a chance to have a longer chase against a killer, that doesn't really care that much about pallets anyways, is not a bad thing.

  • True has made a video in which he explains how you can counter Spirit. It works quite well, even without Iron Will/Stridor.

The other advice I can give you is play her. Play her for a longer time. That will give you a better understanding about the mindset a Spirit is going to have and you will also encounter survivors who will show you some possible ways of countering or confusing you.

But in the end it's like versing a strong Nurse. You can be lucky with outsmarting the killer but it will probably not work for a long time. Which isn't really a problem considering you can easily win against a Spirit, or any other strong killer, by just gen rushing. This depends on your team though. If you have decent survivors on your team it doesn't matter if the Spirit downs you in under 10 second. You can still win.

  • I think DBD is very scary...

    ...if you play killer.

  • I actually see this completely different. The killers that are the most fun to me are the ones that take hours to learn. A complex and hard to use power is also a very rewarding one and the satisfaction you will gain from getting better at these killers is huge. I would have lost my interest in this game a long time ago if killers like Nurse, Huntress or Blight wouldn't exist.

It's a longterm goal to master hard killers and that keeps the game (at least for me) interesting and fun. Sure...it also can be frustrating but that's part of the process.

  • To all the people who are saying that SWF isn't cheating: just remember how the game is designed. There is no voice chat on purpose. The game is designed to have a surprise effect and an uncertainty that gives the killer an advantage because he is playing against 4 other individuals. And tbh that makes the game very interesting. I really enjoy these moments when all solo queue teammates are knowing what to do and it feels like playing in a SWF, eventhough that isn't the case.

Two people on comms are already game changing and can be a pain in the ass.

The game itself is not balanced and designed for SWF and will probably never be. So it is actually cheating in a way, eventhough it is an implemented feature.

I personally don't mind playing against a SWF and I honestly don't need to know if I verse them. The only thing I would wish for is some sort of slowdown and a limitation to certain perks. That would actually make it more fair and interesting for both sides. A good SWF will win 99% of the time and that can't be fun. No wonder some of these groups are going out of their ways and trying to bully killers because escaping alone isn't satisfying anymore.

  • Regardless if this add on is OP or not, just saying that it used to be OP in the past doesn't mean it is fine today.

Just because something was changed and nerfed doesn't mean it is balanced now.

If we are looking at the current gen speed and the percentages that each side has to do for their objectives, Brand new part is still problematic because it adds an extreme amount of progress to something that is already unbalanced.

But they honestly don't need to change it. They only need to make a good rework. I don't see the problem in perks, items or add ons but in the game itself.

  • @ClickyClicky said:

She is the strongest killer and regardless of what people say - THIS is the killer without counter play. Running back and forth and weaving about, all you're doing is trying to make the other play miss, it's their mistake to make.

That said seeing a top level nurse is extremely rare and that's why people don't complain. Nurse herself is rare let along a really good one, meanwhile people will face Spirits and deathslingers all day long and so that's why they tend to receive all of the complaints.

Trust me if every DBD killer started playing and practicing only nurse then in a few weeks survivors would be begging to have spirit and deathslinger back. Especially a slugging nurse.

True, I always get the most DC's on nurse.

  • I don't like him either. I don't like playing him and I don't like playing against him.

My most recent encounter with a doctor was in solo queue where he easily killed all of us with 4 gens left, due to a teammate rage quitting. The interesting thing was that the doctor wrote "boring" in the endgame chat and I could only laugh about that.

Yes. It is boring to play doctor. Very boring.

  • Have you ever had that moment when you played extremely well and 3 survivors suddenly escaped through the hatch because they found a key? Probably not, because you would have never written this if you did.

Are you even aware how often people get a key when they use Plunderer's? I used it last week to farm items and I was disgusted that I got a key every second match. That's definitely not okay. And as far as I know killers can't find random Mori's in the game :)

Keys are bad for the game and so are Moris. But if the Killer that uses an Ebony Mori is bad, your whole team can still escape. Escaping through the hatch doesn't need any skill though. Doing gens is the easiest thing in the game and if you don't do enough gens, who cares, people just have to die. It's just hitting a button in the end and you magically can bring up to 4 people out of the game. Killer already closed the hatch? No problem if you have a key. It's hilarious xD

Keys are not bringing hope to the game, they are destroying well deserved wins.

Play both sides my friend. You clearly have no clue what is really happening in red ranks.

I have seen 2 people in recent memory on this from say this map is fine

There will always be people who have no clue or are straight up ignorant. I encountered people who think that Lerys is a good map for huntress. If you see statements like that you already know that you will never be able to have a decent conversation with those people xD

  • A teabagger that goes down in 10 seconds and then rage quits.

  • I despise it when people do that and I am very tempted to leave them and let them hit struggle phase. As we can see from this poll it is only for egoistic reasons. No wonder solo queue is a frustrating experience if people have a mindset like that.

  • @RaiexKain said:

I needed this got a good laugh. I main clown btw lol

You are a true hero my friend

  • As a killer main I have to agree. It is very strong, especially at good loops. Undying was a very needed perk for the Killer playerbase but it basically gives you an extra Thrill of the Hunt (only much stronger) on top of that.

There are definetly ways to play around it but I don't think that the aura reading is necessary.

  • Spine Chill shouldn't detect Stealth Killers. It is their power and that being taken away from them is huge.

The perk itself is very strong in combination with Resilience too. Considering it also gives you a detection for every existing killer is insane. I really love using Spine Chill but I think it needs a rework.

  • This is probably not really a noob moment but it kinda gives me the same feeling:

Everytime I am about to down a survivor and then accidently blink into the basement. Feels bad man.

  • True it just feels like a waste of time to actually kick a gen but then on the other hand if you don't do it you might miss out a chance of regressing the gen.

  • It's okay. We all tend to forget stuff. No hard feelings <3

It's true that it takes longer to fix bugs but the killer sounds are bugged for months now while the DS bug was removed very fast. The devs clearly don't think that killers having bad sound is something that needs to be changed pretty soon. Very sad.

I don't believe that. They fixed so many bugs during that time and didn't even mentioned that they are aware of the killer sounds problem and doing something against it.

I think they are and it makes sense because the survivor side will always be louder.

And btw: the killer also got stuck on the hill as well. It didn't took them very long to fix it though.

Sure, no bitching. None at all. Okay honey xo

Good that we finally agree on something xD

  • I would say that it is a good idea to invest those bloodpoints in a killer that you really enjoy playing and collect a good amount of his strongest ad ons.

The killer could swing out. The survivor could not. I tested it many a times in KYF.

The survivor side will be louder but if you report the bugs correctly they will be fixed.

They're not biased, they're smart, and fix the easier bugs first.

I hope you are right and we won't have this conversation again in a year :)

  • Do I need to develop games in order to have on opinion thats solid? I just have observed the bug fixes in the last months. Everyone will make their own conclusion from that I guess.

You do realise the Hill Bug existed for a while too, right? Fixing survivor bugs is easier because you fix it on one and you fix it on everyone. Fix a bug for one killer and you have to ensure it works for everyone else. Plus, they fixed the Hook bug the same time they fixed the DS bug.

Remove the glasses, the devs aren't biased.

I think they are and it makes sense because the survivor side will always be louder.

And btw: the killer also got stuck on the hill as well. It didn't took them very long to fix it though.

No, it "clearly" means that fixing sounds isn't as easy fixing that DS bug.

I don't believe that. They fixed so many bugs during that time and didn't even mentioned that they are aware of the killer sounds problem and doing something against it.

  • Oh, there is actually something new on the list and it is called free tenacity.

    Pretty good job so far.

  • I only play Solo queue survivor and I don't see a problem with it. If killers don't have Undying their totem gets cleansed right away and if killers do have it its just a motivation to look for totems. Finding totems isn't a hard thing even without Detective's Hunch and if the killer gets a strong map for totems than that's okay. Hex Totems are designed to be strong with the high risk of being cleansed. Making it easier to find totems will make Hex Perks useless. There is a reason why Undying was implemented and as someone that plays with that Combo as well I don't see that survivors are struggeling to get gens done. We are still talking about the new Ruin and not the old one.

The problem is in my opinion that I still see a lot of survivors just completely ignoring totems when they wallk past them. But that shouldn't be a reason to nerf totems.

And it's okay to not cleanse Undying and Ruin every single game. It's okay if the killer gets lucky from time to time too.

The only thing that they can change in my opinion is the aura revealing. That's something extremely powerful for the killer side, especially if a totem is at a strong loop position.

  • Stop caring about pipping. Focus on improving and pipping will be the natural outcome of it.

  • Object of Obsession

You always had a strange relationship with the darkness.

    You become the Killers Obession.

Every survivor that is not the Obsession will get his aura revealed to the killer anytime and under all circumstances during the trial.

For each hit that the killer is inflicting to someone that is not the Obsession you will gain a permanently speed, repair and heal boost of 2%.

For each hit that the killer is inflicting to the Obsession he will get a movement penalty of 20% for 60 seconds and is unable to injure survivors.

If you are the last living survivor in the trial the Entity will immediately sacrifice the Killer and take you savely out of the game.

  • I think he is okay. Strong yes, but not overpowered in any way. He is very slow and eventhough his shot is extremely deadly he has only one and it also doesn't give him an insta down compared to huntress hatches. He has to pull survivors close to him to actually down or injure them which consumes time.

  • After maining Nurse and Huntress I came to the conclusion that it takes a lot longer to master every skill shot, needle threat, long shot and what else Huntress is able to pull off compared to mastering Nurses Blinks. Therefore she is in my opinion the most skillfull killer in the game. She can snipe people everywhere on the whole map but that comes with a high risk. If you don't hit these hatches you lose a lot of pressure and the game is lost. But if your aim, prediction and skill is on point then she is the most rewarding killer in the entire game.

  • You actually have answered your question yourself.

Killers will leave good loopers. Seems logical, right?

Ever played killer in red ranks? You should. It will change your perspective of the game.

  • I don't see a problem with it. It isn't a perk that is used very often and in most scenarios the next safe loop is right around the corner. If anything, it makes the game a little bit more spicy.

  • I would even say that Detective's Hunch is a must for solo queue. There is nothing more frustrating than dying to NOED because your teammates are all leaving and not searching for the totem.

IMO we'll see (If even we see some changes for Freddy) like after a year as minimum. Yeah, devs are starting to balance game stuffs slightly faster but the game has a lot of "Unbalance things" like keys, moris, some killers (Clown for example), some addons and RNG maps (In one game you can have 7-8 pallets but in another one you can have 14. ScottJund's talking about this problem yesterday) e.t.c

What about "fun to play againt" ? It's a really specific personal opinion that a player have a posstitve game exp. playing versus some/all killers.

Somebody doesn't like to play against stealthy killers (Especially on Closed maps). 2-3 days ago I had a game as GF (GhostFace) on Hawkin's. And when I downed 1 marked guy, 3 of them dced in 1 minute. One of em said in a loby like: "Sorry man but it's not funny to play"

Some ppl don't like to be very focused entire game, They prefer to have a few seconds to be prepaired (hiding or going to good position) and mostly prefer to chill.

Somebody doesn't like killers that are good in chases like Spirit, Deathslinger e.t.c. I played against a lot of players and nowadays if a person was downed so fast (in 10 seconds, especially in the 1st minute of the game) he with 30% probably dc. Some players don't know how the killer really works like don't know like what the speed & duration Spirit's ability has or what the moment that the Deathslinger probably shots to the surv and his range of the ability in-game or that he easily sneaks up to the survs cause his TR music is quieter than others

    https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/1673369#Comment_1673369

I played a lot of games on Deathslinger & understand when he will shot me for sure and I start to dodge a little bit early than I'll see that he's aiming and it really helps me. ngl I have some moments when some Deathslinger players said to me in post game chat: "how you dodging my shots? You even don't look behind". But I didn't to this trick if I didin't play on him a lot in some time.

I had some problems to play agianst the Nurse. Most of the time I got downed by her very fast and then I caught myself thinking that I ran to her when she's charging her blink to avoid the hit and the chase wasn't long for me lol. I mostly screwed up myself by this move instead of dumb running forward. But after that I played as her some couple of games I understood how's her ability works more correctly and can easily predict her move or what the addons Nurse is using by watching blink's time & range.

But Now I really think that I need to play as the Spirit & PH more than I played as now because when I'm playing against her I have the same issue. What about PH? I still can't play more correctly in loops vs him.

Why I typed this all? Because I want to say that we need to spend a lot of time to figure out in these things or need to refresh our memory too.

It is not the game that we have in 2016 that we know:

    • Oh, that guy is very fast with his chainsaw. I need to avoid him in opened zones
    • this guy hasn't TR while cloaked and I barely can see him. I need to be more focused and be prepaired when he comes to me.
    • This boy has bear traps. I really need to avoid the grass or running to the loop where for 100% he didn't set the trap

Nowadays we have 21 killers. And for new players and for the people that don't spending a lot of time in this game, they can't to play against versus all killers very well. Because it needs A LOT of time to understand than before.

    https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/1673451#Comment_1673451

Yeah, life doesn't work like this... But what the point of the computer games? It's a "distraction" that allows people to forget about real world for some time and be a part of something new & have freindly feelings about it. We have a lot of game ganres that can be sweet for every person (gamer). We easily can't like some stuffs that, however, a lot of ppl can really like it.

After days of thinking about this offering I'm starting to think again that it will help to imrove the game experience.

It's my personal opinion and result of my analysis. Even that I got a huge & great feedback that have really good opinions about it and strong effects that can damage to the current game but, really... I really think that it will bring a possitive moment to the game & the opinion that if you don't like to play against a specific killer and don't want to spend a lot of time to understand "how the most effective I need to play against him" you can just take this offering and have fun. Like I said before, we have 21 killers at the moment and a few amount of players from entire playerbase can play very well against all of em. But yeah otherwise we don't mind to play against them too but some ppl aren't.

Even if the person didn't take this offering and play against the killer that he really doesn't like to play against he will probably know that he can just take this offering and avoid this situation. He can to do something with it and prevent his personal "unfun" moments but also don't doing something that affects to other players experience in a bad way.

For me and (for sure) a lot of ppl will not use this offerings because they don't mind to play against any killer.

Yes, we also can have a lot of people that will use it too but we have a lot of killers that create opinions about "Which killer is the most not fun to play against?" And these opinions are different! One group of ppl thinks that Deathslinger is too strong, some ppl can disagree. Also we have the opinion that almost everyone agreed (even devs) about some problems. And after some time we have some changes to prevent this problem. But we still have some not popular opinions about balance & experience that this group of ppl will suffer. We are all humans and we are unique of each other.

I understand that this offering is probably not will be in the game... But waiting for some changes (that can be released after some years) and haven't some resources that a player can affect even slightly to imrove HIS game experience and don't ruin other's too, these group of ppl feels really uncomfortable for now. And instead of working just giving something that allow to ppl avoid some unpleasant specific moments or just increase the result of balancing the game stuffs very hard and start to work with "fogwhispers" at least and get a huge feedback like Otzdarva did, we get updates each 1.5 months that changing something or a few things are 30-50% from every update is not good (if we take a general opinion) and still have the problems that needs to be fixed but we get some tweaks (if we get) in the next 1.5 months.

My point of this discussion is that try to create something that give to people some resources to allow and improve their game experience and not affect to other's exp. and also don't ruin others experience too.

IMO it will not bring humangous time of waiting when the game is searching a lobby as the specific killer (beacuse we have a lot of killers that a lot of ppl don't like to play against) and also decrease amount of players that are dcing or suiciding on the hook too.

You are right. Games are a distraction and something we all want to enjoy. And there are a lot of people who genuinely look forward at the end of their work day to enjoy a Spirit, Freddy, Nurse (you can continue this list if you want) game. If an offering to prevent going against a certain killer would exist, that would take away the fun of the killers mains too because they would have extremely long queues. The only possibility to play this game then would be to switch to a "weaker" killer because survivors will most likely not dodge the killers they can loop around the whole entire map. And this isn't fun for the killler mains. Eventually killers would be all dying out. (And yes. There are a lot of killers that people don't want to play against but you need to take everyones opinion into occasion if you want to improve their game experience. With that being said all four survivors would throw four individual offerings and all of them would count. So the four most hated killers are already out of the game. And people have very similar opinions about the killers they don't like. If we would apply this scenario to a SWF that wants to win, they would make sure to take out the four most strongest killers and only weaker killers would be able to play against them. Killers would then never switch to the weaker killers because they know that they would get bullied into the ground)

You said it: we have 21 killers because everyone enjoys something different. That goes not only for the survivor side. And there are killers that are played more than others because they can keep up with the current game meta. If the meta will change, the killers will change too. It doesn't work the other way around though. Nerfing killers, nerfing killer perks or completely erasing certain killers from the game will lead to a dead killer playerbase. (And yes, implementing an option to dodge certain killers is equal to erasing them because let's be real: most survivors would prefer a Pig game over a Spirit game)

So I would suggest: if a game has things that you don't like then don't play it. It's very simple. No one is forcing people to play DBD and play against killers they find too "OP" for whatever reasons.

The unpredictability of this game is what makes it interesting. Not having control over what kind of killer you might be getting, how your teammates will be playing and how the game will turn out is what makes DBD interesting. Each choice of each indivual player will affect the outcome and that also includes unpleasant scenarious. But instead of having a " I DC if I don't like it" mentality why not turn that mentality into a "I will try to improve and do the best I can" mentality?

I can even speak from my own experiences. I play a lot of different killers. I play strong killers and weaker killers and I enjoy all of them. But unfortunately, since the DC penality is not activated anymore, there are a lot of survivors who DC. Not because of the killers I play. It only takes one hit, a quick chase, outplaying someone or finding someone too quickly. Sometimes they even DC to not give me PGTW. There are endless reasons why people are DC'ing and giving survivors the option to dodge killers won't prevent that because in the end it all comes down to one thing: They think this is a 1vs1 game and if the game doesn't get their way they rage quit. It doesn't matter if it is a Spirit that outplayed them or a Clown. They have the mentality, so they will DC. That's why I said that it's a bad idea to support babies because they are babies. They have never learned to lose and they will probably never learn it. If they see the game the wrong way, then that's their problem. It's a 1 vs 4 game and it revolves around teamplay and not a "I can loop this killer for 5 gens alone" game. But that's fun for survivors, right? Feeling superior, long chases where the killer can only get them with good mindgames and good game knowledge. Well...long chases are great but sadly the game isn't balanced for that.

It's not a solution to support a mentality problem, or to make it more specific: a negative focus problem.

I have a friend who can't play DBD without complaining at least once every single game because he is giving is full attention to all the flaws this game is having. He played very actively in the start but he stopped a few months ago. He was purposely making the game unfun for himself and he wasn't even aware of it. But his case is also not the fault of the game or the devs for having bad game design, questionable hit boxes and camping killers. It's completely up to him.

Don't get me wrong. There are things that needs to be changed and things that are frustrating in this game but there are also things that are only based on indivual opinions. Not wanting to play against certain killers is an opinion, a mentality, but not something that needs to be addressed. No killer in this game is unbeatable. There is never a reason to DC. Never.

The answer to this problem is actually very simple and it's called "Uninstall" or "Try to improve". There are only two options. Sure, people can cry alot and eventually behaviour will nerf all the killers that can do something against the current gen rush problem but that will have drastic consequences. The game in general needs a rework, that's for sure, but until then we have to accept how the game is.

One thing though: I said that life doesn't work that way. That you can't alway skip things that you don't like. And yes, you can skip everything you want in your free time. You can decide what kind of game you want to play. But the sad reality is that the perfect game doesn't exist. There will be always something that is unfun or not pleasant. It's up to each indiviual how high their tolerance is for unpleasant things until they will lose their interest in a game.
