You just have to check their profil most of the time
That only works some of the time. Just because they might all share the same language, doesn't guarantee they are swf.
People are just too quick to call swf.

If they added a survivor for free, to everyone that already owns the ghostface dlc, that would be amazing. I think it will be just a skin, so i'm setting my own standard low. So if it does turn out to be something big, like an add on rework for ghostface or a new survivor added to his dlc, that would be amazing.
Free? Your very optimistic lol I'd say it'll just be a little paragraph like Ash was.
-
I wouldn't be surprised if they add in the survivors from the chapter. Have Sydney be the survivor with Legendary Skins to bring in the rest.

Being smart and being good are not the same thing. you can be smart and be 0 skill player and you can be skilled without being smart
You may be smart and know what you need to do but it takes skill to pull it off.
A killer may know how Billy should be played, but it takes skill to do it.

"how to link them" The game with his rng will link them for you dw :)
Only smart survivors know how to do it though. Most stay at their current tile and wait till the pallet is gone before leaving it.
-
They don't need any. Survivors use them to communicate with each other, killers shouldn't be trying to communicate with survivors.
-
You need skill to be a really good survivor. There's a reason why survivors at red ranks are most trash at the game.
Survivor you need to learn tiles, how to link them, how to pressure gens, how to use your time effectively and how to counter every killers ability. I'm not even including the more complicated stuff like how to time flashlights.
Killer isn't simply learning every little detail about the add-ons/perks. Most of the time the character was played in the ptb and most people saw streamers play it. Before the killer is released they already know the best add-ons and how to play them.
Both sides need to be played a lot to become the best. Survivor isn't simply holding M1 and doing gens. The same way kiler isn't using your power, hooking survivors and slugging survivors.

I don’t think it’s reportable. It’s not holding the game hostage because of the EGC.
I can't remember what it falls under but I'm certain you can report for it.
-
Pretty much what I always do. Both things are extremely broken.
-
A lot of times as Freddy for some reason. Funniest one was when I was leaving the building on Badham and as I went to leave I heard Claudette breathing. I then moon walked back up the stairs, swung around the corner and hit her.
She thought I had wall hacks.

You gotta love the killers who come right back to the hook for their special mori.
Got that mori daily of course 😏 no other reason of course

Exactly.. I love those who genrush with 5 gateaus... I love them..
Someone brings a mori you gotta lol
I'd say when it comes to Gateaus as survivor you want to get those gen points early. Unlike chase and healing points you only have so much objective points you can get in a game.
-
I'd say if you didn't focus as much attention on one side you'd feel a bit better. If you get a swf game that was tough then just give killer a break for the rest of the day and play some survivor. Go back tomorrow when your refreshed and beat the 9/10 lobbies that aren't a sweaty swf.
-
Gotta love those killers who mori immediately. Especially when they are playing Spirit and 3 Gateaus are being used.

It isn't, they will bleed out eventually.
I believe it's griefing or unsportsman behavior. You will eventually bleed out but being toxic and making them wait the full bleed out timer is reportable I think.
-
That is a reportable offense I believe. I hate that playstyle also but I won't slug them pointlessly at the end of the game just to be toxic.
-
As a new player I'd say Claudette since she gives information with Empathy and you can heal yourself with Self Care. Next would be Meg or David. David has a good point farming perk with We're Going To Live Forever and the best exhaustion perk Dead Hard. Meg just as 3 very good starting perks.

I dont mind bully sqyads because im good enough to handle them most of tge time. Head on squads are soooo annoying though. Its not "this is annoying because its working" its simply annoying
There should be a perk that highlights a locker when a person is in it with head on activated. Would be mostly useless but might at least make those games more fun if i happen to be running it. Or better yet let enduring counter it 😈
Yea I know those games just aren't fun. Though if you win the reward feels a lot better. I'm also good enough to handle them most of the time to since I know exactly how the survivors think.
It would be a good buff to Iron Maiden. Add the condition that you get the killer Instinct when a survivor enters a locker and it could actually be a really good information perk.

I don't think head on is that bad; if you want to go full head-on you can still make a good solo build: Head On, Inner Strength, QnQ, DS/IW. That's pretty much my go-to solo build if I wanna have some fun and it works very well.
It can be used well but it's not as good as other perks for solo q. If I want to have some fun in solo q I'd just run random perks.
For a while I deliberately ran adept survivors on the wrong character (I.e. Adept Kate on Nancy). Last week I used No Mither and WGLF as my only two perks. Funnily enough I got the most points in all 3 games and did the best in chases.

Head on is a fun perk to play with. Playing against a 4man on Comms spamming it may result in a 3-4k due to the survs ######### around, but it's not fun in the slightest for the killer.
It's a fun perk but not something you'd run in solo games. With how bad some randoms are you need to run a decent build in order to do well. Head-on is a perk that is only really good in a swf of some kind.

Unfortunately a lot of “meme” teams are toxic themselves. I’ve played against some really nice squads who were fun and sweet post-game, but they’ve been the minority. Most of the “oh I’m just memeing teehee” teams get really nasty post-game in my experience so they kind of spoil it for everyone else.
It's one of those where the killer won't find the build fun to face. It's less fun than facing a squad who can loop and rush gens effectively, but a much better chance of getting the 4k. I wouldn't understand the survivors being toxic after the game but I do understand them saying that they were just having a meme game.
-
Memes half the time. Problem is doing full head-on games is considered "toxic". Killers get very toxic after meme games since they see it as "4 man swf bully".
-
I had the exact same problem a week ago. The exact same spot, same hook and rock. The game gives no prompt to hook the survivor.
I saved the clip also.
-
Necessary at high ranks. Isn't the most fun thing to do but it's necessary to win.

True, but I think they can change small things, like adding grass to Gideon meat plat, making Lérys and Midwich's corridors more open etc.
Even at that it won't make much difference. No Nurse can play on Lerys. No matter what you do to that map, it'll always be nearly unplayable for her.
The problem is they don't want to be "limited" by these constraints on maps. Unfortunately this creates maps like Midwitch and Lerys which just aren't the best designed.
-
You can't balance every map for every killer. Killers like huntress and billy like open maps, whereas killers like Ghostface and Pig like more closed maps. They can never create a map that is perfect for everyone.
-
Ok firstly I'm not disagreeing that survivors don't have the advantage. If a good swf team are playing, they have a big advantage. However during solo play, the killer has the advantage.
When you say about the game being over in 4 mins well that is true but the killer can end the game faster. The killer can pretty much end the game in 2 minutes if things go their way.
Killers also have massive information. Depending on your killer you can use attacks that the survivors can't hide from, hide your terror radius and hide from all aura reading perks. Plus hitboxes favour killer over survivor.
Perk strength and map strength can't be quite defined as heavily survivor favoured. The thing is some perks and maps are better for certain killers rather than others. A perk like Monitor is amazing on some killers but useless on others. Indoor maps are excellent for stealth killers but terrible for range killers. I would agree that survivors have some of the strongest maps in the game but I would say killers have more than just two maps that are good for them.
Rng isn't an argument. 4% Kobe, 25% Traps and hook spawns are just completely random. Rng is just rng, it doesn't favour anyone. The exit doors can kill the last survivor or give an easy escape, it's just random.
Matchmaking favours swfs, not solo players. The amount of bad red ranks means even playing a 2 man swf can be terrible of your teammates are trash. Was playing solo survivor the other day on Suffocation pit. I did all 5 gens while the other 3 were being potatoes. I even got chases for 1 min, didn't go down and the killer left me.
So are killers op? No not even slightly. Do I find some killers like Spirit and Hag extremely unfun unless I'm using the one item or perk to counter them? Absolutely.
The devs can't buff killer much more because baby/solo survivors are struggling right now. They can't buff survivors either since swf teams are already the strongest thing in the game.
-
Would love a bloodborne chapter with Gehrman, The First Hunter as the killer. Nemesis or The Keeper are also good choices.

Edward Richtofen from Call of Duty Black Ops Zombies. As a singel survivor chapter just like Bill and Ashe, With some lobby voice lines too. I think the chapter will fit no problem and he is so popular character.
You can bring Kino der Toten Map too.
https://gameplay.tips/uploads/posts/2018-01/1516137225_call-of-duty-black-ops-3-kino-der-toten.jpg
Not in a million years will this happen.. but if it did I would be extremely hyped.
-
Unfortunately they can't do that. I remember thinking it would be cool if every survivor had to use at least 1 of their unique perks a year or so ago.
-
I got a lot of wretched shop the past few days, not a lot of midwitch (thank god). I actually don't mind hawkins. I know it's a killer sided map but when I play survivor it doesn't really bother me too much. Definitely prefer it than Shelter Woods or Lerys.
-
Play well and run multiple slowdown perks. That should help you out a lot. Also make sure you protect certain gens and give up gens that are too far away.
You play well enough and it won't be as bad as people try to make out.

Hahaha hadn't noticed that!!
Bringing that perk nullifies all the complaints they may have about how the killer played!
I hope I'm right. Just assuming by the colours that is who said it.
-
Make it a timed thing. Both auras are shown every minute for 3/4/5 seconds. Show the perk cooldown on the hud so the survivor and killer knows when it's about to happen.
This way it still gives the user information but not enough that a swf team will feel the need to run it.
-
Funny part is the object user said it lol

Always run STBFL on demo. I run BBQ, Pop and M&A and it's done me really well. I understood the love for STBFL till I started playing demo and now i love it.
Make sure your aware of who your obsession is. Also faking your ability is almost as strong as using it.

Over the course of the event as both survivor and killer I earned a total of 982 Gateaus.
Hope you guys get games with me. See you at rank 3.
Earned as I that's how much you have left now or actually gotten. I'm only counting the amount I have left after the event ended.

I made sure all the killers i like to play had at least 50. Doc has 73 because hes a great killer to farm with, spirit has 64 simply because i dumped the most into her. I had her at p3 alreasy but finished getting all the perks for her. Legion has 58 because hes also great for farming. From there its sll 50s or 0 depending on if i play that killer routinely or not. Theres a couple of 20s from just grinding out perks
The great thing about this event is i finished getting all the perks for 4 or 5 different p3 killers. Now im going to use tge cakes to finish p3ing the few i have left that arent there then maxing there perks out.
Yea I can't believe how quickly I got 3 characters from P3 level 1 to Max perks. Ph has 180, Feng has 101 and David has 69. It's mad especially when you think about how many we've all probably used.
@DBD78 said:
Well I made a count now and my survivors have 437 and killers 311. That means 748 cakes, even more than I thought I had. I have used a cake every game this event and will continue to do so for many many games to come.
That's fair play. I thought I had a lot lol
-
@Dead_by_Gadfly said:
Survivor - 31
Killer - 571
Total - 602
I used them every game as well so no telling how many total but thats how many i saved.
Which killer has the most for you? Seems to be unlikely you'd have 30 on every killer.
-
Killers seemed to be more generous with cakes than survivor in my games. Except for yesterday where I faced 4 moris.. and 5 dlgoshebrfjzoah hags......
-
As killer I go for 12 hooks so that should give them enough of a chance to earn Bloodpoints.
As survivor it all depends on the killer. I will give the killer a hook near the door at end game if I'm playing swf just to be nice. However I had a game against a huntress who got zero hooks and when I tried to be nice, she tried to sweat. I pointed at the hook and went down near the door. Then she proceeded to try and down everyone else and wouldn't let them save me. Luckily they did but this made me BT and DS for the rest of the event just incase.
-
It's hard to get this sort of thing right. I usually slug for the 4k because I want the extra points that it gives me. Though I've recently had a lot of DC hatch tech which has been inconvenient.
-
It's very hard to change the meta on killer since each killer does well with certain perks. Also BBQ would be run a lot less if it didn't give the additional points.
-
Got a nice compliment while playing as Pig recently. Was hungover and someone told me that they thought I was a Pig main I played that well which was extremely nice.
-
So just delete it. Nobody ever fully leaves so we'll see what happens. The more time you spent replying to stuff here just proves that your still involved with this game, and won't actually leave.

It was also hard to keep track since people were sending in their answers at the same time.

I assume you never faced old ruin. This new ruin is completely fine as is.
-
If you bring Dark Devotion on doctor it can be fun. If you use static blast while Dark Devotion is active the static blast will come out from the obsession.
The game is still show the blast from your character but it won't actually do anything.
-
Hag, Urban Evasion and Object Of Obsession.
I want keys and moris nerfed, not removed.
