Since I haven't seen a change in the patch notes, that is either a bug or you happened to have Rancor prompt in addition to NOED.
I had a match that Kate finished the last Gen, then Exposed status showed with Hex:Noed. 2 second later Wesker M2 injured Bill and down him.
I remember that I waited for the match to end, and he had Noed, not Rancor. Half a min later, a Hex was cleansed and Exposed was removed.

i'm mainly posting this because there were a good chunk of ppl who wanted wesker nerfed with the reason being "he's played too much" so i felt the need to post this and point out that even if he gets nerfed and thats a really big IF. it's just gonna make every that plays him switch to blight no new killers will pop out because half the killer roster is unviable
If I lose, I would rather say my skill is unviable against survivor team.
-
I dont try hard to kill, I like to do 8 hooks and wait for EGC to activate my end game perks. I miss alot of kill. And seriously, my games are mostly chill, and really easy.

There's many people that want a limit to how fast a generator can be done and how fast / much it can regress, I feel this is a weird approach to this idea.
If you heavily nerf all regression perks, (and maybe make them non stackable) and buff Saboteur then you can delete toolboxes. Delete keys and rework maps while we're at it. Survivors have too much useless stuff on their bloodwebs to make an other item niche.
I always think that a 99 Gen can regressed to 0 is why Gen regressing speed has to be low. Im up for x3 the speed if Gens have check point at 33 and 66 that cant be regressed further than than.
And certainly combined with the total regressed Gen time can happen in a match. 180sec perhaps. Then Im also up for Toolbox removal.

We should play together, i need skilled teammate like you. 4 gens in 5 min is so good. You should be one of the best survivors ever.
All you need to do 4 Gens in 5mins are :
- 5 Commodious toolbox
- 9 BNP
- 12 charge addons
- 21 stacks of Hyper focus
- 90 stacks of Fast track
- Resilience
- Anh finally, the perk This is never happening

jup this is what i mean Survivors tells Killers to Play fair and when the Killer plays fair and try to make the Game also fun for Survivor they get Gen rushed and teabagged and maybe gets some awful messages at the end of the Match
And then Survivor Mains are wondering why thera are so many Killer who Camp and tunnel and just Play Blight or Aura reading Nurse on the Game and Midwitch 🤷🏻♀️
Im watching a German Streamer who is a really good Killer Player at high Rank... he always has try to Play fair as Killer but since the Survivor are still toxic to him he tunnel and camp ... everytime he get teabagged when he was trying to Play fair he instant Play Aura Reading Nurse whit The Game offering
This is sadly the circle of the Game Toxic Survivor creates Toxic Killers
My question is...are those survivors that tbagged on you were the exact people telling you try to play fair?
-
You know 4 slowdowns were never meant to carry average killers up to high MMR right?
-
Most breakable walls are like predrop god pallet. Some are really meaningless.
Only bathroom Midwich are the unique one that killer has a choice to either create short path for both sides, or just leave it there, or break one to make a trap.
We need more breakable walls like bathroom Midwich.
-
Im used to be a toxic-try hard killer after facing my first Head on swf. After like half a year, I realized that what I did was pointless.
Im no more toxic on team B because team A toxic on me.
Im rather be not toxic toward toxic survivors and also not giving pain to non toxic survivors.
Than toxic to non-toxic survivors just incase there is a toxic one.

As Pulsa said, you're off meta with low rarity addon, against a team with heavily invested in items, you would be able to win the match if you use higher rarity addon and/or they dont invest in items. It seems that you didnt tunnel a survivor off the match, where you have alot of BP yourself.
I assume both side have equal skill. Its just their side try harder than you, which certainly they should win. I believe you would easily win the match if you invested more on addon and they didnt.

Yeah, it can only carry you so far. If tunnelling gets you wins when playing normally doesn't, then your MMR increases quicker, and eventually you'll find yourself at a level where good survivors can handle tunnelling just fine. One will run you while the other 3 smash out the gens. Then the killer comes here complaining about Seal Team 6 swfs and gen rushing, when the truth is they've put themselves in a position above their comfort level and suddenly need skills other than chasing one survivor out of the game in order to compete.
I don't care if tunnelling is what people choose to do. It's no skin off my bones. But if tunnelling becomes detrimental to them, and suddenly doesn't work, they'll never entertain the notion of stopping and copping losses. Their solution is just to nerf survivors so they can beat players that are better than them. And *that's* where it annoys me.
Thats exact to what I think about average skilled killers. And thats the most beautiful thing about MMR: keep their kill rate the same no matter how hard they try.
-
Joke aside, for me Plaything and Penti are the most fun slowdown to play against as survivor. Its not about adding extra 5min to Gens.
-
@MikaelaWantsYourBoon said:
I played poorly, now i can use crutches (tunnelling and camping) and win game. That's why both of these strategies need big nerfs.
Camping will be nerfed with all upcoming changes and hopefully tunnelling is next.
You dont have to play poorly to lose. If you're good and opponent is better. You can play well but opponent's decision is better, you still lose.
Though killers can start to tunnel and camping at any moment they want when the match isnt in their favor. For survivors if losing, you lose, there is no turning back.
You always see 'If you lose a teammate at 3 Gens, you made alot of mistake'
Yes, what I and teammate doing wrong was killer getting 1st hook at 3 Gens left, we decided to do totem and chest, didnt think killer straight up tunneled the hooked teammate out in the next 2min. We should have Gen rushed instead, and this is when killer complaining back.

Bots may better than 10% survivors. And they may consistent on Gen, but they're not replacing players.
Completely remove DC punishment just make survivors DC every single time they get the first down.
The punishment may be reduced, but not removing.

I found that the game became CONSIDERABLY better when I just stopped caring about whether I escaped or not.
Sure, sometimes I get killed because I make bad choices with this attitude but I find the game is way more fun when I'm willing to take chances, play with the more fun perks instead of the meta, and overall just not giving a F anymore.
Maybe that's just me taking a huge sniff of COPIUM every game but that does mean that I get to enjoy the game a lot more so if it is that, I'll gladly keep on huffin it.
I dont care if Im able to escape, but I want to know I have at least 50% chance of escaping. 1 death with 3 Gens left discourage me to play the match.

i mean, yes that too. But my point was more sarcastic that a perk that counters a niche perk isn't really an issue, as sometimes you cn get lucky/unlucky on the perks the other side brings.
I mean, why don't I start complaining that Distortion is OP cause it counters Lethal Pursuer?
Lethal isnt a weak perk. And you still be able to see other survivors. Unless all of them us Distortion, its still a win for killer that they use 4 perk slots for it.
The good example is old Ironwill, a strong perk that everyone used, that counter Stridor. They fixed it now.
Resurgence, Solidarity, Reactive healing really need to counter Sloppy so they would be used more than other healing perks. Since Sloppy is used for most killer that add 8sec for each healing (4 for healer, 4 for healed)
-
The cons of a survivor using Plot Twist and No mither
- Disable Corrupted
The pros of a survivor using Plot Twist and No mither
- The 1st survivor lay down on the ground for half a min, 2 survivors on Gen when you chase the 4th one.
- The 1st survivor's chase time cut in half because of 1 health state. Drop 13% of total chase time.
The pros of a survivor not using Plot Twist and No mither
- Have Corrupted
The cons of a survivor not using Plot Twist and No mither
- 4 survivors are full health.
- 3 survivors on Gen, one of them use Prove thyself and Hyper focus instead of Plot Twist and No mither, while you chase the 4th one.

If a hatch appears after hooking you, the last one may make an insulting gesture in front of the killer's eyes before running away and shouting "ez" or "u noob" in the end-game chat. Yes, players who have played Killer have experienced this to a greater or lesser degree.
Slagging you off and looking for the last man standing is a necessary act for the peace of mind of the killer player.
The true peace of mind is not letting toxic players get you. Not giving the 3rd survivor pain in case the 4th survivor is toxic.
Toxic players will be toxic no matter your choice, either the last survivor gets the hatch or not.

But is the 4k by standing in front of the hook more skilled? Or would the 9 hook with chases be more skilled?
The system is supposed to be skill based. Right now, it considers the 4k to be more skilled.
I think, basing the skill evaluation on just kills/escapes is no reflection of the actual player skill and can be manipulated to easily.
While hook based also wouldn´t be perfect, it would at least reflect the actual skill better.
Peanits said MMR is about how hard people trying to win (kill and escape), not skill. @Nazzzak please have me the image of Peanits talked about MMR.
Alot of killers using high tier killers with high tier addon, tunneling and stack with slowdown, slug the 3rd for the 4th survivor... are those complaining about how survivors try so hard.
If I play against @Pulsar , who is try hard and tunnel me out at 5 Gens, its sure not fun for me. But at least he would not complain when other teams fight back.
I dont complain killers try hard, I just find it funny killers dont like it when survivors try equal hard on them.

Wait, so you mean there are some perks that effectively counter another perk?
Fast healing perk is already far better than passive healing like Resurgence, especially it only save you 16sec for an entire match if hooked twice. Botany save 5sec per heal, and you heal more than 3 times a match, at anytime, on anyone. No one used Resurgence already. Those weak perks needed a buff.

Sloppy needs one nerf. It's destroying perks like Resurgence. I wish they would change this part and i'd be okey.
That Haemorrhage effect should be changed with canceling healing cut down 50% of total progress. Not regressed.
Even if killer "pretend" to chase you away for a few sec (in a case of a teammate accidently lead killer to your corner), 90% progression would gone. That would also fix Resurgence and Solidarity

The aura should be based on the gens location, not the killer's. Blight shouldn't get to rush halfway across the map and get effectively 100's of meter range auras from it.
Any perk with time is sometime just broken on high speed killer, just for example of yours and Tinkerer that 16sec is not enough for Doctor but its a whole map circle patrol for Blight.
Alone 24m range aura around Gen, Blight already has more benefit because he can run to survivor before the aura goes off.

The 60% number also contains hatch which has 1/2 chance of giving an escape to the last survivor for free. You could have your whole team die at 5 gens and get slugged then have the hatch spawn below you still resulting in an escape. So the killrates are artificially lower due to hatch, approximately by 25% / 2 = 12.5%. In reality the adjusted killrate would be 72.5%. See I can do the same.
The kill rate at high MMR was not 40% or 45%, no. It was 61%, shared by the devs themselves.
https://us.v-cdn.net/6030815/uploads/QBAVCNOU4QO5/microsoftteams-image-2875-29.png
Lets say, if you and I both have 120 candies, supposed that 60 for each of us.
If I take 80 candies, how many can you have? You know what I mean where the 40% kill rate come from.

Kills/escapes have never been a good indicator for how good or balanced something is. A facecamping Bubba could get 4 kills with 4 hooks, while a Huntress could get 1 kill with 9 hooks. The system would declare Bubba clearly the Winner. While those 9 hooks actually required more skill.
Because 4K is a win? And Bubba tries hard to win? Match him against survivors who try hard to escape. Perfect!
I will say this again, I play for 7-8 hooks before start getting kill, or even leave survivor alive on purpose to toy with them with my End game build, resulting 2 kills instead of 4. No way I want to play against a multiple 2nd chances squad because I have more hook than a Bubba camping and end up 3-4 hooks with 4K.
Let the try hard play with each other.

Holding the tape should have passive gaining stack, but like 50-66% slower, simply not letting survivors get tapes early game.
Doesnt have passive gaining stack and immune to her teleport is too much.

Read the changes. Genuinely trapper will be a better killer if this goes through.
I recognize holding tapes dont gain stack makes survivors able to get tapes in the beginning without risk is a huge downside. Passive gaining stack is needed, but have to be lot slower gain, so simply survivors dont want to get a tape any time they want. Which Sadako able to teleport.
As Sava said, building stack is to slowdown survivors to get tape, not to get kill. Getting moried is survivors' fault for ignoring the tape, not Sadako's goal of hard work.
-
The rework changes her play style. Which we dont know if its better or worse yet.

- Not really even if she teleports 7 times that's only 5.25 and if they are holding a tape then they aren't gaining stacks from her teleporting "Projecting to a TV now applies ¾ of a stack of Condemned to all Survivors not carrying a Cursed Tape (was 1 stack to nearby Survivors)." So you can't teleport and 7 time and find a survivor with a tape if a survivor has a tape then that means you can only teleport 6 times and they aren't gaining condemned.
Carrying tape survivors increased stack over time already? Or they remove that feature?
-
@MikaelaWantsYourBoon said:
The reason is there is no range to get stacks anymore. So Sadako can't spam her teleports to get easy stacks. 15 seconds can be reduced to 10 seconds maybe. But this cooldown needed.
But Survivors have so much power to negate her power. This is the biggest issue i see with her.
1 survivor take the tape will remove 3 stacks on them, and remove 2 TV for Sadako to teleport. It sounds like a huge negate to her.
But I think people forget that the other 3 survivors also get stacks and they dont have TV to remove the stack.
They will spend alot of time to find TV and remove stack, wasting more time than youre not able to teleport and walking.
-
Thats mean 1 survivor stuck with no TV to put in the tape? Even if survivors use all the TV.
I mean, if Sadako teleports just 3 times, 4 survivors have 2 stacks. At least 2 of them have to get the tape. Because if wait for later, they dont have enough TV to get and input the tapes.
Get tape at 5 stacks is a risky move. Given 1 tape running to another TV. If found by Sadako, its an instant kill. 2 survivors have to spend time for tapes with 2 stacks. So with TV cooldown, the other 2 survivors can get tapes at 4 stacks.
This cycle may repeat for every 3-4 teleport.
-
@Chocolate_Cosmos said:
https://forums.bhvr.com/dead-by-daylight/discussion/comment/3471449#Comment_3471449
Both. At least that's how it works now and I belive it is the same. So you turn of two TVs for 90 seconds instead of 60 seconds while also being immune from her teleport condement. Even if she finds you and hook you, you get 2 stacks (team gets 1). You can then easily get another tape and remove all that has been just done + another TV's offline. It sounds bad.
How many TV in totals in a match?
-
make those Scourge hooks unable to sabo would be nice
-
I still dont know, if survivor take the tape from TV A and put it in TV B. Do both TVs have cooldown? Or just one of them?
-
Sadako reading the mid chapter patch.
I always think her Condemn rate should be increased more consistently. To make her basekit slowdown more meaningful. The change direction goes as I wanted.

mmr is damn near imaginary which is why i don't understand the lobby dodging shaming people like to do.
Im not sure, I mostly do 7-8 hooks before kill, especially I only kill in end game if I use End game build (so survivors can taste it). Surely I miss alot of kill than I should. And my games are generally pretty easy, alot of time I got 4 hooks with 1 Gens done, I pause for them to either heal up or 1 Gen done before I continue on the match. And I mostly play Trapper.
If MMR isnt exist at all, means everyone's games are the same. Im afraid that killers in generally is really really bad..
