I didn't dodge anything, you just didn't listen.

Killers getting rewarded for losing = bad

Survivors getting rewarded for winning = good

Clearly you didn't read my response. Survivors haven't won anything until they have escaped. Repairing 5 gens is not equal to survivors winning, you need to get out of that mindset. EGC is just another stage of the game, both sides are still able to win or lose in this part of the match. If survivors have won when 5 gens are repaired then clearly they would automatically just escape the moment the 5th gen pops.

Now lets flip this around. Killers downing means they have won because according to you, survivors won when they repair gens. I fairly win a chase and down a survivor then Adrenaline activates. Now you said NOED is broken and OP because it rewards failure, well what did Adrenaline do in that scenario? Rewarded the survivor on failing the chase and punished the killer for winning it. So what you say about NOED applies to Adrenaline so if NOED is removed so should Adrenaline in your eyes, correct?

If your answer is no to my previous paragraph then explain why NOED should be removed apart from "It rewards failure" because Adrenaline DEPENDING on the scenario rewards failure too. Another scenario is the killer slugs 3/4 survivors and the last gen pops. Now all survivors are up and that punishes the killer for being able to down 3 survivors and keep them there, again rewarding the survivors on their failure to win a chase.

Can you see where this is going? You can claim all you want that NOED rewards failure but to some extent Adrenaline does too.

Adrenaline is completely situational. If a killer won a chase fair and square and Adrenaline makes the survivor escape then it's definitely rewarded failure. If Adrenaline deactivates OUTSIDE of a chase to heal you for end game then it hasn't rewarded failure.

    That's objectively wrong.

Survivors have to actually do something to get adrenaline to work (work 5 gens done)

Killers don't have to do anything to get NOED to work.

Broken perk that rewards poor play.

Like how you dodged my response, I'll state it again:

NOED is a second chance for killers that has a completely easy counter play. Survivors have a list of second chance perks too but if the killer ever complains about them they are just told to gid gud.

Now Jeyers, my question to you is why can the survivors have second chances but the whenever the killer uses a second chance it's OP and broken?

There are strong perks on either side and although Adrenaline does activate when survivors complete a PART of their objective because escaping is their objective, not completing generators, it still denies killers of their earned hits or downs. On top of that it completely bypasses exhaustion which I find a bit tedious because you can just dead hard into adrenaline if timed correctly. Both NOED and Adrenaline needs changing in my opinion because both deny gameplay and to some extent Adrenaline rewards failure because the killer wins a chase just for it to mean absolutely nothing.

Edit: I never use NOED because I know how unfun it is to go against but you need to see how Adrenaline looks from the other perspective. You say NOED is annoying because you just get downed but Adrenaline is annoying to killers because they down a survivor just for them to get a free heal then into a Sprint burst which denies them a kill.

  • @jeyers said:

NOED is still a broken perk that rewards killers for losing the game.

    It should be reworked.

Jeyers every post I see you make is just directly complaining about killers or just asking for a nerf/rework. Killers have strong perks and survivors have strong perks, why should only the killers ones be reworked?

Although DS is in a better place now the thingI hate the most is it's supposed to be an anti-tunnel perk but in reality it's just a 1 minute of invincibility. I see far too many survivors using it to just play dumb. Lets rush the hook with DS! Lets stay on this gen right in the killers face because we have god mode for another x seconds. Lets just body block the killer because if he downs us we can still escape! Let's instantly get back into a chase, oops I messed up and got downed now lets just get rewarded for my mistake!

NOED is a second chance for killers that has a completely easy counterplay for. Survivors have a list of second chance perks too but if the killer ever complains about them they are just told to gid gud.

Now Jeyers, my question to you is why can the survivors have second chances but the whenever the killer uses a second chance it's OP?

  • Lucky :( I really want to add Dying Light to my Plague build but I guess I'd need to wait until the hotfix

  • @Liruliniel @Micheal_Myers Dying Light does have a lot of problems for players. I don't know why but it varies for some people. Some people crash on their first token, some of their second, etc. I tried Dying light and won a game with 6 tokens and I thought "Oh wow DL works for me" next game on my seventh token I crashed.

Because Lithe works on every map, lol. There aren't windows everywhere. Try that on the Game map, with only 3 windows, or even the new map Hawkins, I've seen maybe one or two in that one. Lithe isn't as useful as BL. The only way it would ever become as useful is if it increased vault speed on top of it's current effects, because BL prevents the stagger from falls as well. Lithe would still suffer on a few maps, but at least pallet vaulting would be somewhat useful. I used to use Lithe religiously, and while the build you're talking about is good, it's extremely situational. You need LOS blockers, as well as windows. Most windows that you can fast vault without taking a hit have nothing on the other side of them but open space. Basically you need specific maps with specific setups to make it work. Oh and by the way these new pallet changes that are coming, hurt Lithe as well, because they're trap pallets. Vaulting them guarantees a hit from the killer. So they're nerfing Lithe with them, which is already extremely situational.

Besides, it's like someone else said, it isn't like killers don't have a million aura reading perks(let's not forget addons) that are useful, as well as Whispers. The only way stealth could LEGITIMATELY work would be to remove aura reading from killers, but they're not gonna do that.

Although I do agree that some maps are completely garbage, it still doesn't deny the fact that juking out the killer is possible but no one cares to try and learn it. A lot of people just run straight to pallets and instantly go into the looping mindset. That explains why when some (not all) survivors go against some killers that requires you to think more about looping, they just DC or outright call them OP. Why? Because they got so used to looping that any change feels weird to them and they will most likely die due to not learning anything else but looping.

Again I'm not the best survivor in the world but I do go out of my way to learn new things. Both sides have good and bad maps that will benefit them more than the other side but that's just the game and not a survivor only issue.

@DocOctober summed up what my response was going to be pretty well so I wont really continue and repeat what he said.

  • I've recently returned from a break and I've noticed the toxicity levels on PC has just skyrocketed. I know it has been bad but every match there will be at least a guaranteed BMing survivor then when it comes to the end game chat, I think some of their egos are higher than their IQ.

I don't know, t-bagging doesn't really do anything to me but I will go out of my way to tunnel them if I see them to teach them a lesson. Camping is just a waste of time so I don't bother with it unless it's end game against a t-bagger.

It sucks though because a lot of new players are playing due to the chapter but they are just met with toxicity. I don't really have hopes they will stick around after being bullied, tormented, mocked and just spoken down on after they lose a match and then if they win, just get told to "#########", and all those fun shenanigans.

Just lose line of sight against Bloodlust 3. EZ.

Just "juke" and disappear by way of pure magic. EZ.

You must be one of those God Survivors. Can we watch some of your matches to learn your sorcerous ways?

If the killer got to Bloodlust 3 then I'd say you've already done a good job at keeping the killer in a chase for 45 seconds. That means, your team, if doing gens correctly, got 2 - 3 gens above 50% and by the time the killer picks you up, hooks you, and then finds another survivor you can bet those gens are either really close to completion or are already done.

Once the broken maps gets fixed on here, Bloodlust wont be required anymore due to it only being a band-aid fix to infinites and really long loops.

Lastly, I've seen some survivors juke killers using different load-outs. Oh no you need to change your current meta? I forgot what YouTuber it was but he used Lithe, Quick and Quiet, Dance with Me, and I forgot the 4th. Point is, you can easily juke the killer and perks aid with that, you just got to change up your perks and not run the casual DS, Adrenaline, DH, etc.

  • 1) Freddy

    2) Ghost Face

    3) Wraith

  • @Peanits If you don't mind me asking, could you give some feedback on this? This post looks like it is liked by quite a few people and it would be a nice addition to the game.

  • Thank you all for the up-votes :) I'm unaware of any posts suggesting the ability to change aura colors with a color palette with a slider for the shade so I decided to make this post.

I've always been a fan of customization in games and just a simple feature such as being able to change the colors of a aura can go a long way.

  • Yeah I've noticed an increase in the queue times as killer. I've just been playing a lot more survivor recently due to the queues :/

  • @jeyers said:

    https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/558304#Comment_558304

Then why do killers still have NOED ? hmmmm ;)

Devs can destroy MoM so survivor cant have "easy" escape.

But not NOED so killers can keep easy down. Well that is just one of many reasons for devs to favor one side more.

The longer queue times i think is because ppl dont wana play surv anymore. why is that?

There is a difference between a perk with absolutely no counters and quite strong and a perk with counters and can be strong. I've explained this before but MoM has no counters before the nerf apart from playing certain killers or "Hitting the survivor again" which isn't a counter because they still got their extra free health state.

If a killer is using NOED you have multiple options: Cleanse totems before it activates, if it does activate then look for the totem, or just leave the game when you have the gates open.

  • @jeyers said:

    https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/545924#Comment_545924

You literally have to repair gens to get out. Its not a mindset, its the rules of the game lol.

Repairing all gens is not equal to victory, you need to open the gates and escape first. If you rush the gens insanely fast without touching a single totem then that is no ones fault but your own. There is more to the game than just do generators, you have chests, totems, and healing which no one ever does anymore due to Adrenaline.

And the casual playerbase vastly outnumber those tryhard groups. Killing SWF is removing a large part of the casual players from the game as they will find something else the play together.

So SWF will never get removed, just play survivor if killer causes you stress.

Oh I'm not advocating for the removal of SWFs, I have a blast playing it with friends casually. Having a drunk night screaming with friends, being weird, getting amazing plays while drunk is just the most recent highlight I've had. I've recently learned that i can only get flashlight saves while Im drunk and sober I never get them, ever.

My point to you was the survivors are the power role when playing optimally as a SWF group.

  • @jeyers said:

    https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/545253#Comment_545253

Just because it "can" be "maybe" counterplayed doesn't mean its not overpowered. Especially since you spend more time in a match just to "maybe" make sure u dont get 1 shot.

Well you don't need to worry about it being overpowered when it wont even activate. Get out of the mindset that you only need to repair gens and you win, there is a lot more to the game that survivors forget about.

  • @jeyers said:

    https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/545388#Comment_545388

The incentive is already there as the killer is much stronger then a survivor.

Alright so you have two groups of SWFs, the casual players wanting to have a good laugh which I play all the time and the try hard groups with the goal to win and bully the killer as much as possible.

When you go against teams of optimal survivors all in voice channel then they are the power role. Not sure if you've heard of the depip squad but they show cased it pretty nicely how an optimal SWF groups can almost guarantee the win against killers at rank 1.

Although it's rare for me to run into a try hard squad who tries to bully, it can happen and it's a nightmare to play against. With the amount of second chance perks, speed at which the gens can be completed, and some absurd tiles on the map, playing survivor isn't really hard.

You know the game is the wrong way round when I need to play survivor to relieve stress from killer games.

  • This is a major issue that needs to be fixed. For the people saying that the old double blade should be banned because it ruins gameplay, so does insanely fast generators. Killers and some survivors even admit that gens can be done too quickly but with this bug they can be done even quicker, ruining the gameplay for killers.

Although I don't agree on banning people, some people say using perks shouldn't be bannable but back when the double blade exploit was a thing it should have been bannable? Although I have to say the double blade was way worse, both of these exploits ruin the gameplay for either side.

i hope this bug gets fixed in a hot patch and we don't need to wait until Mid-Chapter to have fair games again

  • The game has been growing and so has the development team for the game. Developers are expensive and they get paid a lot of money, just Google the wages for game developers. On top of that, they have multiple positions such as design teams, QA team, developers, level designers, and a few more.

On top of that, servers can be quite expensive and with the introduction of dedicated servers that are coming soon, they would need to spend quite a bit of money to buy enough servers for multiple regions and locations to ensure as many players as possible have decent ping.

Personally I don't see an issue with it because it only gives you cosmetics. Although it is another source of income, that will just help them to expand their team further like they have been doing by the looks of it.

  • @Mochan said:

The balance is fine. If you don't have any power as killer it means you're just not playing good enough.

If your killer can't keep up with experienced survivors, it just means you're terribly inexperienced.

Can you tell me how to apply pressure to 4 man SWFs with the amount of information they can give to one another?

"Killer is chasing me, work on gens"

"Killer is going to killer shack, stop working on that gen and hide"

"Oh killer is at shack? Im going to continue on my gen at x"

"Killer dropped chase on me, working on a gen but he was heading over to x so beware"

"I've opened the exit gate at x, where are you so I can body block?"

The amount of information you can give as a 4 man SWF is insane. If the group has half a brain and are trying to play seriously (as in not messing around with friends and doing memes) then it's not that difficult to repair gens by relaying information on the killers whereabouts or on what gen to repair.

On top of that, the killer can only chase one survivor at a time. If you force other survivors off gens, the other 3 will go to another gen to repair that whilst you chase the 4th one away.

Now if the team cannot relay information then hooking a survivor applies a lot of pressure because the other survivors will have no knowledge on who is going in for the save so multiple survivors will go off gens for the save however, if it's a SWF they can just say "I'm going for the save, keep repairing gens".

I'm not saying every single game is like this and I do play SWFs myself for a bit of fun but I must say that the game isn't balanced.

Depends on whether the player that is playing Plague is any good or not. You HAVE to apply pressure or you will lose, it goes with any killer.

Billy permanently has an instadown and he is a top tier killer. Why would Plague be low tier when she can permanently have an one shot while Billy is top tier? Sure Billy has more map pressure but you still have to actually down a survivor.

"You HAVE to apply pressure or you will lose, it goes with any killer"

Applying pressure can be simple but against an optimal group it can be quite hard. I enjoy playing SWFs but even when I play with some friends just to have fun, we can give that much information to the point that the killer cannot apply pressure to all of us.

"Killer coming to my gen, will loop him. Go on gen at the killer shack"

"Killer stopped chasing, going over to another gen to repair"

"Killer kicked the gen, will tap it in a second once they leave."

"Killer is now chasing me, finish my gen at x"

On top of that, the killer can only chase one survivor at a time so all of the others can repair gens. Dropping the chase if it goes on for long enough to chase others off gens hardly works because the survivors who are no longer being chased can just hop back onto generators straight away and if they are SWFs the can easily say "Come back onto this gen at x". If the survivors are not good then they will be scared to hop on gens straight away but if the survivors don't fear the killer then they just hop on them instantly.

If you down someone fast enough and hook them, forcing other survivors off gens to rescue, applies a lot of pressure but some maps that are badly designed makes it a nightmare to end chases fast enough.

I know this isn't post isn't about SWFs but you have to realize that killers cannot always apply optimal pressure against good groups. Although it's not common to run into groups like those, it still hinders the Plague.

Billy can apply pressure due to his insane mobility and that's why survivors heal against him because he can zoom back and forth and eventually find them. That's why people heal against Spirit too because of her mobility (although it's not as good as billy's). Plague has no mobility and her basic power doesn't hinder the survivor's ability to loop, so that's why I feel like the Plague is kind of weak if the survivors stay infected and never cleanse.

"Depends on whether the playing that is playing Plague is any good or not"

Problem with that is her power does not help in a chase unless you have the corrupt purge. Going back to my statement about the no heal meta, why would survivors cleanse when the Plague is tall so it's easier to tell if she is trying to mind game or when her basic power doesn't hinder your ability to loop? If you're a good survivor, you just want to do all gens to get a free heal at the end, why heal when you can rush gens and pop adrenaline?

  • @MegMain98 said:

    https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/494898#Comment_494898

It’s a lose-lose situation though. Survivors are still broken, they will always be a one shot. If you stay infected you’re putting yourself at risk by being an instadown against a 115% movement speed killer.

If Plague decides not to capitalize on survivors permanently being broken then that is her not being smart.

Instant downs do not scare survivors on maps that are poorly designed. If the map is badly designed they can still loop you for a long time and that's why corrupt purge is deadly. Why do you think more and more survivors refuse to heal anymore and just focus on generators to make Adrenaline can kick in? Plague can apply broken but without corrupt purge she isn't that great because broken doesn't hinder the survivor's ability to rush gens or loop.

If survivors are just using the no heal meta, being broken wouldn't make a difference to them.

  • The points are neat but some of them still require survivors to cleanse themselves and I've encountered too many survivors who refuse to cleanse and rush gens, only cleansing on the last gen to pop Adrenaline. I do enjoy playing Plague but she is on my lower tier list due to the deadly side of the plague which is corrupt purge is in the survivors hands, they can choose not to give it to you.

  • @BigBubs said:

Every crybaby killer main will say yes, even when they nerf it to the point its a trash perk no one will use. But oh how dare you ask for a NOED nerf? That's out of question! Lol , it's funny how entitled some killers are and think they have the right to talk ######### about survivors... kinda pathetic but oh well.

I's still waiting for those NOED and ruin changes to make those perks less OP.

I don't like end game perks at all, for both survivor and killer but don't you realize that NOED can be countered by simply cleansing the totem? MoM has no counter at all apart from using X killer which SHOULDN'T be a counter but NOED can be broken before it even activates.

If survivors are not capable of cleansing all totems then you can't blame anyone but yourself and although I never use NOED because it's unfun to play against it still has counters that MoM doesn't have.

Personally I don't have an issue with MoM on its own but paired with other second chance perks or insta-healer is what I have a problem with. Another problem with the perk is when an entire squad is using it because at that point it becomes a nightmare.

  • MoM requires no skill to activate apart from fail at winning chases and the killer's insta downs require at least some skill (apart from NOED)

  • @xChrisx said:

    https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/480889#Comment_480889

As i said to someone, drop the chase or keep run behind him, play for fun. You are not supposed to 4k everygame. And yes nurse require no skill

You're saying play for fun but some killers have fun playing the nurse so if you're allowed to have fun by using a broken perk (Mainly against M1 killers) then killers are allowed to have fun playing the nurse.

You can't say play for fun but then complain about the other sides fun, seems a bit hypocritical to me.

  • Not trying to sound rude or anything, but could you list any killer perk that is GOOD and has absolutely no counters to it? Again I don't know any of the top of my head but feel free to tell me because again I'm clueless, criticism wont be taken to heart :)

NOED can be counters by cleansing totems, BBQ has multiple counters such as being close or in a locker, any HEX perk can just be cleansed, Blood warden just leave the game early because 1 death is better than 3 - 4 or hide AWAY from the exit gates, and you get the idea.

MoM has absolutely no counter-play for M1 killers and to be honest, I'd be perfectly fine with MoM if it has actual counters to it apart from "Play X killer" because where is the fun in that? I honestly prefer the old DS because it had minor counters such as dribbling or even making them hit the skill check above stairs or hills to make them get a stagger effect making their distance to you much shorter.

People keep saying "Just get better at chases" but sadly it's not as easy as that with the vast amount of pallets and windows around (Im not complaining because pallets are the survivors only defence but I'm using this as a chase example). If the survivor is remotely smart then they can loop the killer for a while depending on the map and the amount of safe pallets and it's not really that difficult to run around in circles and pressing space when the killer is getting close.

The killer needs all the time they can get so if there are x2 or more MoM with other second chance perks then it prolongs the chase that much to the point where all of the killer has lost all of their pressure. How would survivors like it if the killer could do the exact same thing such as for every 3 regular hits, one survivor is permanently exposed until you down him, which will result in his exposed effect being removed?

As you can see from the stats that the devs have released, the game is heavily flawed in the high ranks with the escape rate being insanely and how long the game lasts so if survivors run multiple second chance perks. Those statistics alone show that survivors have the advantage IF they can play properly and focus generators.

If some survivors can easily with without MoM, think about how much longer they can loop the killer without it. Honestly, if you seriously need MoM to even play survivor then I'm sorry but you're just not good. The only second chance perk I run nowadays is Adrenaline because I no longer use Self care.

  • I quit trying to play the Bloodhunt after I had one game with 4 MoM and 4 insta healers with adrenaline and dead hard, my second game was just the same minus 2 insta healer, and my 3rd game ended in 4 minutes due to 2 BNPs and the rest using purple toolboxes with speed addons.

It was too frustrating to play so I decided to play other games instead of this event, I kind of stopped playing this game now and I'm waiting for the Mid Chapter before properly playing.

  • It's known that killers earn a lot more blood points then survivors and on top of that they have BBQ which I feel is easier to get 4 tokens on. More people are probably playing killer due to the BP event

  • Devs need to start giving out harsher punishments. Two nights ago a survivor DCed due to getting mind gamed when I was playing the Wraith, screwing over his entire team.

He stayed until end game to trash talk but after I asked him why he rage quit he said "Wraith is annoying. I DC against Legion, Spirit, Trapper, Doctor, and Wraith. Never play those killers when I'm in the lobby otherwise I will DC".

It seems like some people will just DC because the killer they are going against is unfun which shouldn't be the case at all.

  • I don't think I would hate Legion after the nerf because I played a bit differently. I spread damage across the map with out the frenzy spam when when possible, I would M1 the survivor and even mind game them (moon walking shack so they vault).

This "nerf" just helps my play style more whenever I play Legion.

  • Thanks for all of the suggestions, I'm going to experiment with a few builds suggested.

@artist I'm not planning on using a build around corrupt purge because most of the time, survivors don't use the fountains and if they do it's rare so I hardly get to use that ability.

  • Adrenaline does enough already for one perk, the perk doesn't need anymore buffs to it.

  • If they disrespect you by t-bagging then just camp them on the hook and say "What comes around goes around. If you BM me then I will BM you." and wait for the salt to come raining upon you.

I wouldn't advise that though if you want to get more kills and some t-baggers will do it to make you camp them so their team can gen rush and escape. I used to facecamp t-baggers years ago with 5 gens left but looking back on it, I was stupid and it kept on costing me the game and not done it for a very, very long time.

  • Games ending in under 4 minutes with 3 gens getting completed when you down your first survivor.

In all seriousness, the stories for the characters and some of the designs for them are really cool. Although the game gets buggy after each update a little, it seems like the designs for the killers and survivors get improved.

  • @ryokoryu said:

this is definitely an issue, my games went from about 12 minutes on average to about 6. I went from usually getting a 3k to usually getting 0k. Tends to go like this. Find survivor, down survivor, hook survivor. 3 gens pop, less than one and a half minutes in so far. find second survivor, down second survivor, 1 gen pops and hooked survivor gets unhooked. Hook downed survivor. find another survivor, down third survivor, last gen pops and downed survivor proceeds to run off from adrenaline. Third survivor arrives at open gate injured and the 3 uninjured team mates body block and 2 get injured but 0 kills. no way to keep pressure on the gens and both ruin and lullaby depending on the killer I am playing make no difference. I have deranked to 15 and the survivors don't seem to be slowed down at all by ruin, lullaby does not slow enough, but sometimes they miss a skill check.

My games are just a mirror of your games, with a few games going in my favor. I don't get why survivors say "JuSt PrEaSuRe ThE gEnS". When I kick a gen and chase a survivor shortly after I left, an urban survivor just taps it. Sometimes I find it completely useless dropping chases to kick gens because they are tapped already by the time I'm walking away. There is no way you can put pressure on x amount of gens as well as chase, down and hook survivors and on top of that, you need to break pallets and mind game survivors too.

  • I've noticed this too

  • Although you shouldn't have been matched with those survivors, you did a pretty good job at killing 3 of them with your load out and rank.

Would be nice if someone could confirm if this was intended with the new matchmaking or if it's an issue that will be fixed soon.

Add it to Small Game or Detective's Hunch and you've got yourself a deal.

Honestly I'm not even opposed to this, will make some hardly used perks more useful.

  • A lot of killers cannot just protect gens and apply pressure to the entire map. Now don't get me wrong there are some killers that can apply really good pressure such as Nurse, Billy, Spirit, and somewhat Huntress but the Huntress relies on the map.

The killer, as one person, cannot chase and protect 3 gens at the same time and before you say "just drop the chase", what will happen then? The survivor gets away for free and will INSTANTLY work on a generator and the cycle continues with chase off gens, move away to another gen and then the survivors just tap the generator again.

On top of that, with the Adrenawin meta, if you injure survivors to apply pressure they will still run to safety nets on the map and will continue to do generators to get a free heal and sprint burst. Now I'm not saying don't run Adrenaline but with this new meta and the fact that most killers cannot chase and apply pressure to the entire map, NOED is needed for the weaker ones.

if you commit to a chase with a killer who cannot apply that much pressure, then gens will just pop and like stated previously, if you drop the chase to kick a generator, the survivor who just escaped will just tap the generator again as soon as you leave.

NOED is balanced and all you have to do is cleanse the totems, I don't get why there are so many posts about NOED when devs already stated that they have no intentions on changing NOED yet due to the perk having counters, yes you heard counters.

Here we go… "he deserved"... frickin NO!

If he looped him for so long and the killer got pissed off, he deserves to DIE.

Maybe the other 3 escape and he dies a heroes death, but he deserves jack crap for looping the killer for so long.

I do play killer a lot more than survivor (70% killer, 30% survivor) and I can say if I was in the killers position, I would probably be mad too. I know how frustrating games can be but when I do play survivor I do loop for a while to survive however I don't usually run any crutch perks and if I do it's only Adrenaline.

I didn't deserve the escape because I used pretty much 95% of the pallets and I had no where else to go after I 360ed him quite a few times and he expected it.

Ohh, so if the killer tunnel me he i deserves to escape?

Why he deserves to die for looping the killer? he's doing what he need to do.. The killer could stop chasing him and find another survivor, the one who need to lost here is the killer for tunnel him for 5 fcking generators..

I deserved to die because my team didn't cleanse totems. They had more than enough time to do the gens and cleanse the totems but they decided not to therefore I got the down.

I never blame the killer for using a perk because for a while (not going to count it now due to the rework), DS had the same problem with survivors using it at end game and getting an escape because of it.

  • I don't see the problem with NOED and I do play both sides. Two days ago I looped a Billy for 5 generators just for him to down me with NOED resulting in my death. Was I mad, annoyed, insulting him? No because it was my fault and my teams fault for not cleansing all of the totems.

NOED definitely helps killers, if that Billy didn't have NOED then I could have ran to an exit gate with my team body blocking resulting in an escape but because he had NOED no one could help me.

The reason why killers get 4ks with NOED is because survivors just play dumb and rush in for the save resulting in their deaths too. This is especially common with SWFs because they all need to escape and they wont leave until all of them are out but sometimes you just need to be selfish and leave people behind. As I previously mentioned with my Billy game, I had to suicide on the hook because I saw 3 of them running towards me and I know if I didn't suicide the killer would have gotten more than 1 kill.

  • I'm tired of people hating on legion, and encouraging people to d/c against him. So i'm going to point out why all your arguments for this are invalid.

1: The nurse heavily relies on line of sight and if you break the Nurse could completely lose you. Whenever I play against nurses, I break line of sight and usually, although not all the time, they will move on because they lost me. If the Legion loses line of sight, he can find you again easily because he has 110% movement unlike the Nurse who is extremely slow so all the Legion has to do is move around to look for you. Additionally, if a player mends and Legion stabs another player, he will just find you again due to being in his TR and due to the deep wound, you probably wont have enough time to completely get out of his TR before you drop down.

2: Legion has a small counter-play and even if you're really far he can just catch up. Although he loses his momentum he can easily wait for his power gauge to fill up enough to get a stab on you. An example was one of my games last night, I had a daily with Legion but when I stabbed a player I saw someone who quickly left my TR but all I did was go to their general location and find them which I did.

4: Although you can prolong a chase against a Legion, if you know how to juke a nurse properly by breaking line of sight and hoping they are not a god nurse, you can completely lose them however if you are against a Legion who doesn't give up on chasing you, you are almost guaranteed to be downed.

Legion is weak however he is really unfun to play against, especially if they have good addons.

  • Prestige doesn't determine skill, I've been against "baby" nurses that have been prestige 3. There are some people that P3 all killers and survivors including those who they don't play.

Instead of disconnecting and screwing over your team, you should attempt to at least survive because for all you know, they could be learning how to play the nurse and not be good at her.

Playing survivor is more difficult than killer. Am I the only one that stopped reading there?

    You're not the only one

  • Already complaining before even playing her? Man no one has been able to play her yet apart from the people working on her over at Behavior, can't believe you're already complaining.

  • Well I'm stupid and it's a censer not a lantern but I guess I still like to speculate
