it gives you no distance
That's not really true.
You wouldn't use it while you are the one in chase. If you use it for someone else, it gave them exactly 12 meters of distance.
Btw Lithe gives 6 meters.Headon for someone else is basically flashlight save on steroids:
- longer stun
- harder to avoid
- no perks to counter it (except Iron maiden, but kinda useless for most killers, wouldn't prevent it tho)
- you don't need to wait till survivor gets downed (less time wasted for you)
Except (with OP's change) it would be so much easier to do.
The risk isnt worth the reward, but you seriously want to prevent it?
You are having whole argument about how user of headon won't get distance, but OP suggestion is directly tied to using it for someone else. So doesn't really work…
There are ways, like not waiting 3d for them to activiate it, mindgame them into a free down, or literally wait 60s if the perk is that provokative to you.
Have you really not ever think of using headon for someone else? If you try to use headon only for you, then I understand why you think it is weak perk.
Also, not sure if your aware but slugging because the surviviors are being alturistic is insane, would you prefer survivors who just hid from chase whole game until endgame?
Sure, there are perks to find them. I am not really worried about rats without distortion.
2 survivors don't repair generators, so that's in your favor.
Laith gives survivor 18m because survivor moves 6m per second when activated.
you need to stay in locker for 3 seconds.
if swf does it easily what's stopping it from helping SoloQ.
I don't know why some killers main just want the road straight ahead, if the road deviates right or left even a little bit (OMG IT'S OP!!!!! Need Nerffffff!!!! How dare these survivors change my chase routine!!!!).

The game is $25 and this skin is $20.
I don't know what they're thinking, $20 is enough to buy 4 licensed characters with perks and powers if the character is a killer.

My subconscious mind is telling me that increasing the vault speed will be the new Boon perk in the future.
I think it will be 10% at best.

Wait, I meant Boon:Dark theory can be used with any Boon perks to increase range, you didn't get that from my post?

I won't blame that survivor, you left the survivor to rot on the ground so you could look for the fourth survivor so this survivor wanted you to drink from the same cup and made you search for this survivor desperately.
Seems fair😂.

I don't know what's the fun in wasting 4 minutes of my time on something that's not fun and not interactive, just greed for 4k as if there's a reward that 3k doesn't provide, just kill the third survivor and let this player continue the game instead of using the player as a timer.I guess pretty much the same fun as it is when survivors that have already won the game, and no one is in danger. Just stand and drag time at the exit gate.
At least you can force them to leave to end the match.
Personally, unless there is a reason for me to stay in the match (challenge - rescue survivors), I leave immediately.

I am truly glad that the buffs helped you.
Rewards won't help. No matter how much you feed a wolf, it will still look into the forest.
The killer wants to kill. The only issue we can work on. Make it so that the survivor enjoys dying (chase and 12 hooks). Attract killers to the game for whom chase and hooks are interesting. Seriously, where are they? Why are you on the forum and not in the game? Bribe camper and tunnel killers. You can even come to an agreement with them. After all, a year ago no one thought about slug as a tactic. Many were satisfied with one perk of slowdown and so on.
The key point here is that killing is a priority, but we are ready to kill you in a pleasant way if it is viable (chase and 12 hooks). That is, you will not get rid of murders. The question is whether the survivors are ready to pay. Otherwise, the killers themselves will look for a way to kill you. If we fix the slug. Are you sure that an even more terrible tactic won't replace it?
I don't see anyone wanting to play 12 hooks in the game. There are plenty of them on the forum, but in the game...
Reading all the messages about the hatch. I came to the conclusion that we need to shift the endgame collapse. We make fixed gates on two different edges of the map so that it is difficult for the killer to control them. We delete the hatch. When there are 2 survivors left, the endgame turns on. Here is your 50/50 situation. Although I would go further and turn on the endgame after starting 5 generators. Or give me a perk that can remotely open the farthest gates.
So you want to bring back some slowdown perks?
But in general what I mean by (your performance in the match) is not only the hooks, how many survivors you hit, how many generators are left, how many pallets you broke, how many chases you finished quickly, and finally how many survivors are hooked.

I highly doubt that.
Some? Maybe
Most? Unlikely
All? ImpossibleI didn't mean the nice killers who give you the hatch, those are out of the record, I mean the ones who play to win, and as I said, there was not a single match the killer did not use this strategy.

Sorry to answer a question with a question. I know it's rude.
Are you sure it's going to get better? I can imagine how you can screw up the basic Unbreakable and the "die faster" button. Are we going to fix the problem or slap another band-aid on it? Can't you see that it's getting worse and worse with every patch. You get buffs and basic sets, but it's getting worse. It's literally a road to nowhere.
Honestly, have you become happier over the course of a year with all the survivor buffs?
It doesn't matter whether I agree with you or not. If we don't focus on bringing happy killers to the killer's side. It's just going to be an even more miserable game than before. A jar of spiders that you'll be playing in. No matter what band-aid you put on, you'll still be playing with spiders. Not happy killers, but spiders.
Honestly, have you become happier over the course of a year with all the survivor buffs?Yes! I no longer have to use perks to "fix" instead of using perks I enjoy using it.
But overall this needs to be fixed somehow because many people including me want to enjoy playing.
The reward system should be changed from (how many survivors you killed) to (your performance in the match) and the same for survivors.
Because the survivor can hide throughout the match and escape through the gate, the game will put this survivor with the most skilled killer, and the same thing with the killer, the game does not care about what you do in the match, only how many you killed, and it does not matter the way you killed the survivor even.
But the strange thing is if 3k is considered a win, why the greed for 4k?

Any more questions? Of course, I've had slug. The only difference is that I didn't give up and tried to survive. As you can see, it brought a completely amazing result and probably hurt the pride of the killer who tried to kill all four.
I just understand why and what kind of people do this. If you want to change the situation, you should attract people of a different character, who love chases and 12 hooks. Of course, it's good that there are such people on the forum, but I would prefer to see them in the game.

How to use Unbreakable correctly. Only when the survivor is hooked! The killer must be caught off guard.
https://youtu.be/PYcQjDjGJUw?si=GcAs6PX7BYStlmfC
This time I even prepared. Here are my first two games in the event. As you can see, when I am given normal survivors, miracles happen. Killers run away in fear or can only make one kill. I now play DBD about an hour a day.
https://us.v-cdn.net/6030815/uploads/R3HRCSUHPBOS/131220240001.jpg
I understand what you're saying, however, can't we agree that it's not a good idea to force a player to waste their time on nothing? It applies to all players, whether new, good or experienced, because it's kind of like (3 gens).
-
@Prometheus1092 said:
Said it many times, way before mori update... Hatch gives reason to slug. Remove the hatch, remove the reason to slug the 3rd. It's also partly due to survivors hiding and avoiding gens for so long when it's 2 v 1 with multiple gens left knowing they lost the match (which is reportable). The killer needs more time to find the hiding survivor. So what is a killer to do? Kill the 3rd fast and allow the last rule breaking survivor to get a cheap hatch escape? Hell no lol if a survivor is going to play that way and hide then I will keep the 3rd survivor alive for as long as necessary to find the 4th.
As for how do you expect 1 survivor to do gens? You don't. If gens are not done and your whole team is wiped out then you have lost the match regardless if you get hatch or not as hatch isn't considered a win. accept it for the loss that it is, get it over with quickly and move onto the next match.
Always boils down to the argument of "greedy killers wanting 4k when they win v entitled survivors that want a hatch win when they lost"
I find it strange that you write some of the same things that I wrote in my post, in general before adding the bot I could punish the killer through DC to prevent the killer from wasting my time on nothing and at the same time give the hatch to the last survivor and thus the killer strategy failed completely.
Remove the hatch, remove the reason to slug the 3rd.
Kill the 3rd fast and allow the last rule breaking survivor to get a cheap hatch escape
if you get hatch or not as hatch isn't considered a win.
You literally answered yourself 🤣.
This is proof why developers should stop this greed and stop wasting other people's time because only the killer is greedy.

Do you know which survivor is the happiest in the world? The one who had a fun game with chases and 12 hooks. No.
The happiest survivor in the world is the one who was able to survive his friend's 4-minute timer and was able to escape through a hatch or gate despite all the efforts of the killer to make 4 kills. Because such a survivor deserved his escape.
That was a joke. Now let's talk seriously.
You always miss what kind of opponent you are up against. You just need to know that he is used to always fighting and has great patience.
The killer literally fights with balance, survivors and his attitude towards himself. Naturally, he has already lost the habit of relaxing and being content with 3 kills. Such a killer was literally taught to be effective, that he strives for the best results.
The balance of the game is made so that the killer learns to wear down his opponent. To inflict a thousand cuts instead of one. This develops great patience. Suddenly, what you perceive as a waste of time looks like an exciting hunt in the eyes of the killer. The killer literally has his own idea of time. Consider it a kind of fishing simulator.
However, I would advise everyone to ask these 2 questions. It seems to me that you are looking at the effect, not the cause. When we find the answer to them. We will be able to make DBD better.
Why do only camping, tunneling and slug killers find the current DBD interesting?
Where did the 12 hooks and chase killers go? I only see them on the forum, but not in the game.
Just play the role of a survivor and you will understand the feeling.

If you do this, don't expect everyone to do this. Some people do not have time as you.
I can confirm that in all online games there are always a large number of players who do not have time to read everything about the game.
Some have time and some don't and vice versa so it's very important to simplify things for the players.

I mean… Yes? i do this, if i want to know, how killers work and how should i counterplay them
Well, let me tell you, the descriptions of some of the killers' powers seem bigger than they are and vice versa, not to mention the weird names, I mean reading something and building your imagination on it is different when you see it in an actual match.
The first 4 killers have very clear power descriptions for a new player and it helps that you will see them often so this makes it easier to understand, however the further down the list we go the descriptions become long or very long with strange names and the fact that some important mechanics are not mentioned in the descriptions.
So reading a specific killer power description doesn't seem like a problem, but reading all the killers power descriptions is a difficult task for many people, let alone not forgetting them.

Touch the red light = 1 out of 3 dots appeared on my hud, sound played, effect appeared on my body, touch white light = nothing happened, so Red light bad, white light good, it really isn't super hard to match the informations
Oh yeah, and idk if you already know this but skull merchant don't receive haste at all, unless she rotates the drone and scan you within 5 seconds
But they could bring back some of her old stuff.. like the goofy survivor walking animation when they get in the drone radius (1.0 skull merchant) the hud filling up with a yellow/orange light when you're in the drone radius (1.0 skull merchant) some of her missing animations to show that she interacted with the radar etc..
I know what happened to this killer, no need to remind me, yet before any changes occurred she was and still is an example of how complicated a killer can be.
However, how would you explain to the player that the white laser only happens when standing still or crouching, as they have not encountered any killer that requires you to stand to confront them, because all that happens is that the player will see the laser and understand that it is related to the killer, and yet it is confusing for the player to see the laser turn white and then back to red?
Even with the addition of the white laser I still see countless times where players run to Dorn to disable it and try to avoid the laser by running in the direction of the laser and fail.

"Not all players understand the same way, which is why developers tend to make things basic for easy understanding, but how would a player know that this killer will move faster if the survivor is laser scanned or receives a claw trap? There is no easy way to know this."
Read killer power description? 🤨It is mentioned right thereThere are more than 30 killers! Are you really going to ask everyone to read all the killer power descriptions? Especially since you don't know which killer you're facing.
Sometimes it's confusing because some killers receive small or big changes that affect the match.
-
@RFSa09 said:
Nothing is clear to players against this killer, nothing tells you that the drone is used for surveillance, nothing tells you that one touch of the laser means the killer knows your exact location for 12 seconds, nothing tells you that she will move faster the more survivors she has on her radar, nothing tells you that after being hit by three laser scans you will receive a claw trap, nothing tells you that one scan from the drone while you have a claw trap means you will move 10% slower for 6 seconds and she will receive killer instinct, nothing is clear what the white and orange laser beam means, nothing tells you that when she throwing a drone see will get undetectable for 8 seconds.
Her power quite literally tells the player about everything you said, but yeah she's kinda hard to understand for new players
Huh? Unless you have prior knowledge of this killer, it's impossible to know what Dorn does and how a drone works.
Not all players understand the same way, which is why developers tend to make things basic for easy understanding, but how would a player know that this killer will move faster if the survivor is laser scanned or receives a claw trap? There is no easy way to know this.
I mean they shouldn't have to use the hard way to figure out how to play against a specific killer.

First, I want to apologize if I gave you that impression, my question was sincere. Another thing people often overlook is that many content creators play at a much higher level than most of us. Perks that work well for them on that level might not be as effective for where "we" are.
You don't have to apologize, on the contrary, I apologize for misunderstanding your comment.

have you considered how strong these perk become when they're stacked?
For example, if you run dead hard+Appraisal+Moment of glory+Clean break with Syringe med-kit, You arbitrary have chases where the killer has to hit survivors 4-5 times in a single chase to down one survivor.
To prevent these perks from just stacking health-state, after health-state, after health-state, they have long activation requirement. to be fair, these perk would be better balanced if every killer had one of the following
- Fast cooldown recovery option
- Instant down
- Ranged attack option(No, Deathslinger does not count for being such trash ranged option)
- Fast mobility Catch-up(E.G Pre-nerfed Chucky, Blight type rush ability).
Unfortunately BVHR is pretty bad at balancing every killer to have one of these options as they either nerf killers, nerf perk related to this or in some cases, provide no option whatsoever.
You are assuming a scenario that is very rare, less than 1% chance of happening.
Moment of Glory has requirements, Clean Break has requirements, and even Dead Hard has a requirement which is to unhook yourself or your team saves you, and even in this case it is a very big mistake for the killer to chase the same survivor for 120 seconds, especially if the killer saw one of the team healing a teammate in order to use a Clean Break, I mean simply chase the healer.
If the developers assumed the worst case scenarios for all perks in the game, all perks would be very dead, whether in numbers, requirements, or even down sides, but they did not do that with the vast majority of perks because it is very rare to happen and also falls into the player's decisions if it happens.

Technically 32s will go into the generator because you also save the 16s from another survivor not spending 16s to heal you
60s is a fine spot for the equivalent of 100% bonus heal speed, and a reward for finding items which can then also save more time.
Yes true, but 60 seconds is a really really big window for the killer to hit you, I mean have you ever seen a killer who knows what he's doing let the chase go on for 60 seconds? Not to mention that most of the killers powers ensures that the chase doesn't last 60 seconds.
-
@bjorksnas said:
They are meant to take a long time, its not really about being able to be healthy its being able to be healthy with a large amount of time efficiency.
Self healing with a medkit takes 24s
Being healed by another survivor takes 16s but an effective 32s because its 2 survivors spending 16s to heal and be healed
Doubling up takes 24s because its 8s to be healed but its 2 survivor performing the action and one survivor being healed
All of these actions take plenty of time, but when you put perks like clean break into it and less so moment of glory that time efficiency is out the window.
Normal total time to have 2 survivors heal each other 64s (both injured), time with clean break (32s then you are healed 60s later), while there is a delay its still an equivalent to a 100% heal speed increase with a delayed effect the amount of time it can save in a match is huge. The downside has to be inconvenience so the killer actually has a window to interrupt it because otherwise its 100% increased heal speed on a stick.
While others see it as a means of healing and nothing more, I see it as a time saver. 16 seconds will go to the generator, not for heal me. No matter what anti-healing the killer uses, these perks will heal me no matter what.
The moment of glory will guarantee that I will win no matter what, the killer hit me and left I will be healed, drop the chase I will be healed.
All great uses unless the timer 60 broken too long.
-
@SidneysBane1996 said:
The cooldown is long because of the same reason Buckle the People got nerfed. Having to hit a Survivor three times to down them is unfair, unfun, and bad game design.
60 seconds is just right, any lower and it would feel too strong. It's meant to be a risky type of perk, like Deliverence is.
It seems that you do not even know what the activation conditions are.
Moment of Glory requires opening or rummage 2 chest and 60 seconds broken then healed immediately once injured.
Clean break requires you to heal another survivor to activate it and then you have another requirement that requires the survivor to heal you to press the button to become broken for 60 seconds and then heal immediately.
So in what part of the world is this so powerful that it justifies spending a whole minute to heal?
With these conditions it is impossible, and my suggestion does not change these requirements at all, it is just a broken timer of 60 seconds that needs to be reduced a little, and if you are unable to hit the survivor within 60 seconds or 40 seconds, then this is a problem with your skill.

Thanks for sharing the videos, my friend, I appreciate it!
From what I've seen so far, it seems to me the whole "Chess Merchant" had more to do with the Gen Kick meta than her actual power.
In your video, where you stated you wanted to go for gen defense, you get value from the drones, but it doesn't seem to be enough to defend the generators by themselves. Call of Brine, Eruption and Overcharge actually prevent the gens from being finished, but they are perks.
Correct me if I am wrong, but wouldn't killers like Wraith or Knight get basically the same result, if they had the same build?
I don't think so, even the Add-ons of this killer make the survivor not hear the skill check warning, and mix it with some perks and the result is the explosion of generators, and every generator the survivor blows up reduces the progress of the generator by 10% in addition to 3 seconds of not recording any progress after failing a skill check.
This is literally more brainless than brainless itself.

You are right, people have the right to ask and disagree.
but there are some people (you can find them here) who disagree with you and argue that it is not possible and not allowed for any person playing this game to put perk low profile in S tier and it should be put in F tier just because a content creator did that (even though it is the content creator's opinion and he did not claim that this is canon).

In no world is Weaving Spiders ever S tier nor are chest perks.
They literally do nothing but give extra time to the killer, being a loot goblin sort of made sense when hatch spawned before much sooner and you could hatch escape with multiple people but all those perks are F tier now.
I don't think so because it depends on how you use it, if I'm so confident in myself against the killer then why not.
The other perk I use for my team is to give them items and if it's a medkit it ensures that they won't waste their time running around the map looking for healing by any means, and if I want to rescue a survivor I can give a Tool-box to one of the team to use while I go to the rescue, it's a good combo with the other perks.
But everyone plays differently and if the team is bad they are bad because of their way of playing and not the perks.
I respect your opinion, unlike some players who get angry because you don't agree with them.

Im not sure if this is a joke post or if you are serious, if you are serious, then i disagree with a lot of the perk placements tbh.. for example, what are fogwise and Invocation : Weaving Spiders doing in S tier? I could pick a lot more but i have other stuff to do.
Let me ask you a question.
Should everyone choose and agree on exactly the same perks? Should we play the same way and not vary?
While some see some perks as weak, some see these perks as good because everyone plays differently with different thinking.
Just because the majority of players found this perk weak doesn't necessarily mean everyone will find it weak.

I still think they should cut the TR requirement and make it bypass undetectable. Still bad but at least it'd have a unique property. Half the stealth killers don't effect crows when in power so it's not even a nerf to them; the other half should also have their power changed where they don't effect crows. No believe me, I've see some killers main arguing that this perk is powerful and that the downside is "justified" and inability to use all Invocations perks at the same time is "justified".

Invocations are dead in the water and niche by design, I think the only change Treacherous needs is to make the downside different since it just works on crows scattered around the map. Invocations are dead in the water and niche by design.
I don't think so, in my opinion the problem with Invocations perks and even Boon perks is that the developers follow the "one size fits all" principle and this made these perks have little use or even some of it are dead, they really need to abandon this principle, I mean look at Scourge Hook perks and some Hex perks became better when they abandoned this principle.

It really only provides value to prevent chases on ~most killers, so as they make their way to your gen they might scare a crow with you on the edge of their TR and give you a location of where they are coming from. Its extremely niche and just not meant for chases at all in its current state, if it was it would be when the survivor scares a crow not when the killer scares a crow.
If that's the case they would have put another requirement which is not revealing the killer's aura during the chase, at which point why would anyone use this perk? Wiretrap does this better, Kindred with the aura range increased to 32 meters does this better, and all of these perks reveal the killer's aura to all survivors.

Even he is shocked by me even though he probably doesn't know this game.🤣

I like the fact that you've stuck to your guns with this list. I do have one question though:
You mention that this is based more on SoloQ and the usefulness it has for the team. I also noted you've put Bond at F-tier.
Obviously it's all down to personal preference, yet Bond I would say is a really good SoloQ perk, which gives so much information that can be beneficial for the team. I'm just wondering why you feel it's so low.
I didn't expect anyone to ask questions, yet I am happy and also happy with how shocked I caused everyone who saw this.😂
Back to your question, it's true that Bond reveals the aura of nearby survivors within 36 meters of you and that's it, there are alternatives that are batter then Bond, for me like Aftercare or Empathic Connection which made me a team medic and Empathy allowing me to monitor the chase from afar.
Even keys with Gold Token Add-one is very similar to Bond however it has a survivor aura reveals range of 48 meters and whenever desired to use it.
So I see little use for it and it doesn't help my SoloQ team, which is why I put it in F tier.

A personal opinion is that the Fiat Multipla is a good-looking car. Really wrong would it be to call it an airplane.
And this is what you basically did. Your Tierlist is so wrong on so many levels, you cannot just say "personal opinion", this is just a giant bait.
Are we really arguing about what should and shouldn't be put in?
Your Tierlist is so wrong on so many levels
You can give your opinion but you can't tell me what to put, I've tried all the perks as best I can and this is my opinion about it, unfortunately I find some players get angry because someone doesn't agree with them.
As for PetTheDoggo, at first when I read his comment I thought that PetTheDoggo meant that I recommend players, however PetTheDoggo made his opinion clear, so I did not find any problem with that because my post is basically to see the players’ opinions regarding my tier list.

My personal opinion is this is one of worst tier lists in history of DBD, if you haven't noticed.

Probably because you list perks like Dead hard and Sprint burst as F tier, but put perks like Any means necessary, FTP, Invocation and plunderer in S tier?
What's the problem? I literally hate Sprint because I hate its design, and as for Dead Hard, it doesn't work most of the time, I literally press a button and nothing happens.

How the heck is No Mither is B tier? At least invocation perks can just be not used but this gives you minus value for just equipping.
No sluging it all and good against some killers
Except the Oni

a lot of perks on the list are heavily undervalued and put way too low, and there are way too many perks not worthy of being of S-tier being put into it.
Well, that's my opinion.
