I don't think slugging should be bannable but I do think the bleed out mechanic should be changed for these situations. Perhaps make the bleed out time shorter but have the bar reset every time a survivor exits the dying state. So this would still allow far enough time for perks like unbreakable and soul guard and of the killer tried to camp one person on the ground you would just have to pick them up real quick and it would reset their bleed out bar. At the same time if everyone was on the ground, you wouldn't have to wait several minutes just for the game to end.
-
I only buy the premium because when you get to the end you earn your money back in auric cells so I can get each pass for only having to pay using really money once
-
Kate. Windows of Opportunity and Boil Over don't really help at all and Dance With Me is only good when paired with another perk.
-
I don't even sabo anymore but I am a Jake main. If anything my build is All Chests Must Be Searched lol
-
I don't think you're rude at all but it sounds like you're talking to someone who's really insecure about playing killer well and just struck a nerve with them. They went a little overboard with their retaliation but people need to realize the difference between celebrating an earned victory and just bragging too much.
-
Getting face camped really sucks but what irritates me more is if I'm getting face camped and my teams knows it but still tries to do plenty of risky unhooks instead of getting the gens done. If survivors are going to be over alturistic in situations where it's not appropriate, it's going to encourage face campers to keep doing what they're doing and nobody wants that.
-
I wouldn't feel bad about it. I'm a killer main (BBQ Bubba Boi) and if MMR hopefully comes back to the game soon I wouldn't want to get any free kills. I understand that I'm going to run into a few matches here and there where I get ran around and not get any kills and that's completely fine. However, I wouldn't want it to be every game and I would want to have zero kills so my MMR could drop and I could start running into more people around my skill level if that makes sense
-
So if a survivor is working on the gen while the killer activates Oppression then I don't think anything happens versus the killer activates Oppression and when a survivor touches the gen and fails the skill check the entity will block it. The only thing is that blocked gens don't regress. I believe all of that is true but I could be wrong.

Let's be real: About 50% of red rank survivors play like yellow rank survivors in terms of looping and decision making. No wonder every killer wins consistently. You literally just have to walk in a straight line and tap M1 to "outplay" most red rank survivors.
DBD desperately needs a tutorial for both sides - a REAL tutorial that covers looping and counterplay for every killer power.
I don't even want to play solo survivor anymore because most people get downed in 10-20 seconds consistently.
I completely agree with you on the tutorial. I completed it a couple months ago just because I didn't realize you got free bloodpoints for doing it but the game doesn't even cover windows, pallets, looping, etc.
-
I think Oppression is a very good perk for killers that have very bad map pressure just cause it keeps them from having to go to each gen specifically.
I'm curious if Oppression would work well with Trail of Torment. Kick a gen to become undetectable and if a survivor fails a skill check on a different gen you know which general area to go, all with no terror radius.

Honestly focusing on strictly getting kills can be stressful so since I play pretty casually I always use BBQ and Chili and make it a goal to get all 4 tokens each game. It at least shows you were able to down and hook every survivor at least once instead of feeling good about a 3k but still have one survivor who you couldn't win a single chase against
-
It surprises me how many people complain about the DC penalty when you can easily ######### on first hook and it doesn't penalize you. Honestly (more for killer) there are some games I get into where I want to DC but if you just let the game play out you at least get some bloodpoints out of it which is enough for me to stay in all my games
-
I main Bubba (my thick chili boi) and I started running Trail of Torment and getting some funny jumpscares on the indoor maps similar to Myers. But since gens go by relatively quickly I don't focus on kicking gens too much
-
I chose Demogorgon because of his dash attack and how it can play against pallets
-
I always run Ace In The Hole and Plunders Instinct so I go straight for the chests
-
I don't think I'll ever fully quit playing the game but I definitely takes breaks every now and then. I'm actually taking a break right now and playing Fable 2 again. But yeah the toxicity can really suck but I hope you take a break and hopefully pick it up again sometime in the future
-
BBQ and Chili because bloodpoint addiction is real and Kindred because it just gives everyone really useful information when playing solo
-
I play Bubba with Speed limiter. I believe it's 1750 per chainsaw hit and since survivors don't expect it you can sometimes get two hits at once
-
Big oof
-
I've never made it a goal to get 4K's but instead at least get all 4 tokens for my BBQ & Chili. Bloodpoints are life lol
-
They've gotta have those thick russian arms to really throw them
-
By far Ghostface. I still have way too many issues with being able to break him out of stealth that most of the time trying just gets me exposed :/
-
Hey just checked out your channel and now I'm a subscriber lol. If you want some ideas for some videos I haven't seen anyone make a video with the new We're Gonna Live Forever change. Now that it increases healing speeds for dying survivors by 100% you can do a mixture of We'll, Make It, Desperate Measures, Botany Knowledge, etc. paired with a good med-kit to try and get some instant heals off the ground.
Also if you play killer I haven't seen anyone pair Trail Of Torment with Dragon's Grip. No terror radius paired with and unexpected exposed effect can make for some funny jumpscares.
I look forward to seeing more content from your channel. 👍

I completely agree with Point 1. I think everyone can agree that we can go ONE CHAPTER without any new killers or survivors. The devs should take one chapter to just focus on addressing bugs/glitches and overall quality of life changes to the game. When the community as a whole can agree that the game is filled with bugs, poor matchmaking, etc. then that should be top priority
-
This game does have a toxic community and it's filled with bugs but at the same time I can't really compare DBD to any other game besides like one or two. This type of game can really be interesting to some people so it doesn't hurt to let people know about it
-
There are way too many perks that give benefits to unhook actions. You don't know if the person unhooking you has BT, Second Wind, We'll Make It, or even WGLF. It doesn't bother me to let myself get unhooked.
-
I loved Jake because for the first few months the game was released I was ALL about breaking hooks and bear traps
-
I was almost going to vote left to die on the hook but I have to say that revealing Ghostface is always a toss up and really needs to be tweaked a bit
-
Killer - Surveillance
Survivor - Soul Guard
-
The only change I would do is instead of using Visionary use Deja Vu. This will at least prevent your team from giving the killer a close 3-gen near the end of the game.
Also just my personal opinion but if you're gonna use Open Handed I would strongly recommend Kindred. With the 8 meters added from Open Handed, Kindred will allow you to see the aura of the killer 24 meters away from the survivor on the hook. It will also help give your team a lot of information if you play on solo queue. Hope this helps.
-
If you had three people on hooks and one trying to rescue I would've just waited for the last survivor to try and rescue someone and grab him out of the animation

Overcharge:
Overcharge a generator by performing the Damage Generator action. The next survivor interacting with that generator is faced with a tremendously difficult skill check. Failing the skill check will result in the generator exploding into pieces preventing it from being used the rest of the match. Succeeding the skill check also makes the generator explode into pieces.

Survivor:
Overrated: Balanced Landing - I'll say it: it's the weakest of the Sprint perks. It's situationally available (completely unusable on some maps) and actually has a worse sprint duration than Sprint Burst or Lithe due to the fall stagger that it incurs. It also has little-to-no special synergy with any other perks, so BL can't really be built into fun combos like the other Exhaustion perks.
Underrated: Tenacity - Oh you downed me? Yeah but where'd I go? Got places to go and people to see, even if I have to drag myself there. Mostly used in tandem with Unbeakable (and sometimes Flip Flop), but still a pleasant perk by itself.
Killer:
Overrated: Thrilling Tremors - Popular as a joint stall / info gathering perk. I don't like how it tends to have anti-synergy with my other regression perks though (gens can't be kicked or regressed while blocked). Plus that cooldown...
Underrated: Surveillance - Really fun to combine with any other perks that result in gen regression (Ruin/Surge/Pop/etc). Perhaps not incredible on its own, but it is a pretty useful source of information. Basically a stronger Tinkerer that takes more effort to apply.
YES! Surveillance and Surge is possibly my favorite perk combo on killer right now.

Killers should get always an instant 4K when the trial starts.
I am thinks when a survivor starts the trial they should spawn on an opened hatch 👍
-
I think it would be a lot of fun. I would just want to know what you would do as an Imp for earning bloodpoints.
-
If one side is allowed to use everything at their disposal to win, then the other should too since it should be the same way. If the problem becomes a big enough issue the devs will need to kinda tinker with them a bit but if they're in the game they can be used. Simple as that.
-
The old killer mori's were used against streamers to hold their games hostage for the most part which isn't fair to them. I think a good solution for flashlight clicking would be that every time a survivor turns the flashlight on (clicks it) it removes like let's say 0.25 seconds from the flashlight. That way too much clicking will drain the battery quicker and cause survivors to only use the flashlights when they need to.
-
To be honest, when I play killer I almost always play at evening/night and I just use BBQ and Chili and make it my goal to get all 4 tokens. Worrying about getting kills just stresses me out cause me, like you said, you have to sweat for it. If I get kills, cool. If not, cool. I only play now to get bloodpoints so I can still enjoy my matches.
-
Just like with comments on YouTube or even driving on the road with other people it's all the same. Since there's no personal connection and there's not really any backlash for their actions people tend to do whatever they want and say whatever they want and just not care. It sucks because I play both killer and survivor but when I play killer I get lots of messages about being bad or if I get a kill they complain about me using certain builds or add-ons. I just want to enjoy the game. But I'm glad that you can play the game and you enjoy it. That's all that matters.
-
Good job man! Keep it up and you'll make it to red ranks in no time!
-
I didn't realize the number 4 for Dbd's 4 year anniversary was shaped like pyramid head until they released the actual trailer on a livestream of it lol

I'm using Self Care/Botany Knowledge/Soul Guard/Desperate Measures. It can turn a down to full heal in about 30 seconds. It is nutty but you're devoting an entire build to it and god forbid you vs. Plague.
Yeah I use it with self care and botany knowledge to get some speedy heals
-
Edit: I forgot to add self healing and self heal skill checks but even with that survivors still have a really hard time getting sufficient bloodpoints in the Survival Category
-
I don't play too much hag but I imagine Franklin's Demise would be good on her. Hit the survivor to make them drop their item and immediately put a trap on it so when they go back to get it before the timer runs out you can teleport to them again easily. Hope that helps.
-
If Trail of Torment would work with Dragon's Grip I can see it being very powerful
-
I would be fine with them just focusing on bugs and optimization without new killers/survivors and chapters but I would at least still like to have new tomes so I can have something to work towards while they're working on it.
-
It's a toxic cycle that players go through on this game. Killers play the game to get teabagged, harassed, and told to git gud since they didn't camp or tunnel so next game they get on and camp and tunnel to get kills which ruins the game for the other survivors. Toxicity just breeds even more toxicity and nobody is willing to break the cycle.
-
I would only stay in the basement if the person has We'll Make it
-
I think a lot of people definitely forget that at the end of the day it's a game that everyone bought to enjoy and have fun with. Without Killers, Survivors couldn't play the game and vice versa. Playing killer is definitely stressful especially when I'm trying out new killers or trying to complete specific challenges in the tome so I really appreciate people like you. Thanks for being so wholesome c:

WGLF is harder to get all four tokens in my opinion versus just hooking each survivor once. Also, since you're not competing with other survivors for chase time and gens and stuff you typically get more bloodpoints per game as killer so it makes BBQ and Chili that much more appealing to me
