If ur stalking me ur Myers. Don't u like that idea? 😏😏😏😏😏😏😏

    LOL!

Ok then, stalk you I will. Don’t be mad when you end up handcuffed to a bed.

    ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)

I agree with you. I tried learning the nurse but I got depressed. After 4 games with her I gave up and I played a sweet game of my man doctor and remembered why I love this game.

Don't do nurse kids. It's bad.

I feel like I’m stalking you but I’m not <_<

Anyways, I really want to play Nurse but she gives me migraines. It’s a shame because she has some of the best costumes.

If they would just remove the screen darkening I think it would make it bearable.

  • Don’t blame the Killer or be mad at them, it’s not their fault. They’re just fulfilling their objectives. Be angry with the devs and their poor design.

But the way you feel is exactly how Killers feel when their totem i cleansed at the start of the map, so now you can show some compassion to them.

This is so damn hard. No that's not my artwork. I do draw tho and I'm trying my hardest to draw me and Dwight holding each other.

Tho I play music. How about me to play the Myers theme? Otherwise I'll bake cupcakes (the only thing I bake perfectly)

I will only accept either carrot cup cakes with cream cheese frosting or vanilla cupcakes filled with a small amount of dulce de leche and topped with buttercream frosting.

Since you don’t want to draw, you have the option to go to your local animal shelter and pet all the animals there! Or at the very least, if your neighbor (or you) have a cat or a dog, you have to give them a treat and give them tummy rubs.

  • Some killers have no choice. When 3 gens pop after you chase someone for 35 seconds, the pressure becomes immense. Killers like Wraith, Hag and Clown have to slug.

That isn't true at all. Gens are the survivors objective. What are they supposed to do? Sit in a corner? That is just nonsense.

If they bring in multiple toolboxes it is.

Otherwise, I agree with you. I mean, it is their main objective. The fault is on the Devs for letting the game get to where it is today.

Waaait waaait this is way too hard. I'm already in the process of drawing me holding Dwight like this

    https://us.v-cdn.net/6030815/uploads/014/19JDM9042QOB.png

Don't make me do overtimes. It's way too hard to draw the Myers thiccness

Are those really your artwork? If so, they’re fantastic! (I really enjoyed the trapper one)

But no, now I want you to draw Daddy Michael shirtless while holding Dwight like a man holds his wife over the threshold of their home.

The setting needs to be at the beach, with a wave splashing behind them, during sunset.

No rush tho, I’ll give you two months. During that time, I promise not to post threads in this format.

Whats better is when someone tries to body block you just as it activates. I downed someone and as I picked him up someone saved another survivor, giving me my 3rd stack. So they didn't get the notification yet. 2 guys tried to body block me from carrying him to the basement. The first one got downed and the 2nd one ran into a corner so I turned 1 into 3 lol

That’s so delicious. I love imagining the panic that comes across their faces when that happens.

  • No! You have to work for it! Posting someone else’s work doesn’t cut it! (Unless you are the artist).

If baking is out of the option, I want you to draw me a picture of Daddy Meyers vaulting over a window wearing his hospital gown. Feel free to accentuate his muscles.

Drawing a shirtless Dwight wearing Dasiy Dukes is also acceptable.

It has seen a rise in popularity lately. It was very risky to run it with another hex perk, like ruin. They touch a gen, they see ruin and they go looking for it. Often they would find a hex totem and it turned out to be DH instead. Now that no one is using ruin, DH isn't being looked for at the start of the game. Provided it's not in a bad spot I'm seeing majority of survivors don't do totems. Unless it's lit and they happen to come across it they don't get off the gens. Probably why so many people ######### about NOED. It is one of the few moments as a killer where you feel feared. If it's in a nice V shaped spot it is a blessing from the entity if your trapper. They can't get to it without disarming the trap. If you get 5 stacks that mori is deserved.

Yea, I think trapper is one of the best killers to use it with. If you use the add-on that causes Survivors to get injured when they disarm traps, they really get screwed. But like you said, you need it in a well hidden corner.

It’s so satisfying when you’re chasing someone and one of their teammates come to take aggro and they get downed instantly!

How dare you stealing my series? First of all, it has a certain order, devour hope wasn't next, it was rancor. Secondly, it's just mean to have something nice and someone to take that away from you -_-

Don't steal my series plez. I wanna finish all, like, 150 perks or more that exist

I didn’t steal your series! I just used Devour Hope for the first time and loved it, so I decided to discuss it on the forum! Stealing your series would be me posting 10 different threads of the same format at once.

I’ll make sure not to, only if you bake me some brownies. And not the store bought mix, I want them from scratch with lots of walnuts!

  • Nothing. It is a legitimate strategy that killers don't like.

Just like how tunneling and camping are legitimate and are not liked by survivors.

It only becomes bad when they just hide and do nothing.

  • @DaGreenBolt said:

    https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/127567/devour-hope-do-you-use-it

Well last time I even attempted to use devour hope, I got no use from it as it would be destroyed after 30 sec to 2 min. Honestly, I would try it out if I knew I would have any use from it.

Also that right when i'm about to reach 24m mark, survivor gets saved.

Honestly NOED feels like a better perk as survivors rarely do dull totems, amking it so I get a use out of it compared to Devour Hope.

I run it with Ruin and hope they cleanse Ruin and forget about all other totems until it is too late. As long as it's not out in the open, it makes the match delicious!

  • @EmpireWinner said:

I hope to never get to red ranks. I sweat enough now that I am in purple.

  • Claudette gets tunneled in any Yamaoka map or Cornfield map. If I let her out of my sight I may not see her again until they have the gates open.

Bill gets tunneled because I can’t stand him. I hate his coughing and wheezing, I hate how he looks, and I just HATE HIM! I don’t know why, I know nothing of his lore and don’t care to learn. I enjoy my hatred of him. I will show mercy if he wasn’t toxic and spins while in dying state.

As survivor, I don’t really get tunneled too much. The only time I get tunneled is when the gens get down to two and the killer panics. Or if it’s a Bubba, but that’s expected. More often than not, if I do get tunneled it’s because it’s a new rank 15-20 killer who doesn’t know better.

  • @Carlosylu said:

As a rank 1 P3 LVL 50 trapper main, are you sure you wanna give me more base build number of traps?

Yes. Trapper at minimum should have a base of 2 trap capacity. I would prefer 3. With how fast matches are these days, it’s very hindering for a Trapper to have to pick up traps while defending gens.

Off topic: We also need a shirtless pre-Entity abduction Trapper. His manly sexiness will aid him by stunning survivors the moment their gaze falls upon him.

  • I may buy Piggy and Bubba if they were on sale. I want their perks and am getting tired of waiting for the shrine.

I also want to try a Basement Bubba while wearing Claudettes face.

But right now, I refuse to purchase anything with real money until the Devs hurry up with balancing the maps and fix matchmaking.

  • If by free you mean that I could take them from the entity and have them tied to a bed in my basement, then I’ll choose David and Trapper (only if he gets healed and haves the spikes removed).

If you’re asking who deserves to be freed from the entity, then I think Rin should leave and be put at peace.

Right I made some simple suggestions and people come for me anyways, I know how to look and I bring decisive but decisive only works one if the killer continues to tunnel you your ######### no matter what and also half the time I cant tell people to bring borrowed time because I dont play in a group of 4, its not so easy for all people and ive played this for a while, this is a perfect example of the toxic community we have and im over it

The game shouldn’t be easy for everyone. If it was it would get boring quick. I can’t loop or mind game at all, so I play immersive. I’ve gotten good at it so much so that the only time the killer finds me is when I’m unhooking, when I want them to find me or if I screwed up.

With how fast gens are done these days, Killers really have no chance to be nice and not tunnel. If you want them to stop tunneling, instead of asking the devs to change killers to make it easier for Survivors, how about you ask the devs to make the game less stressful for killers. Granted, it won’t stop all killers from tunneling, but it would decrease its frequency.

And no offense, your ideas are not very good. If the killer wants you dead, he’ll just tunnel you again. Survivors would also take advantage of what you propose in endgame when all the gens are completed. Tunneling is kind of required then.

My original post on this thread wasn’t toxic in any way. I didn’t insult you, and I gave you suggestions on what to do in order to avoid getting tunneled.

Killers will tunnel the weakest link if the sense that the team has some strong loopers. It is the best strategy for them. Why should they be punished for playing smart?

  • Or you could learn to loop better. That’s the best defense. If you learn how to waste the killers time and you can loop and mind game them for 3 gens the killer has basically lost the match if you’re their first target.

You also have the option to bring in Decisive Strike and to ask your teammates to bring in Borrowed Time.

Your team should also make sure to not unhook you until the killer is a good distance away before unhooking you. Also, you should walk away so as not to leave scratch marks.

Its annoying for killers to get blinded, should devs remove flashlights?

Its annoying for killers to repeatedly get stunned by pallets, should devs remove pallets.

It’s annoying for killers when survivors body block, should devs allow killers to one shot survivors when there are more than one person in their range?

Its annoying for Killers when survivors always head for the strongest loops on the map, should the devs remove looping from the game?

Stop asking for nerfs and get better at the game yourself.

    DeLiCiOuS!

  • Depends, did they camp from the beginning and slash at the hooked persons body over and over?

    I’ll say nothing

Or did they camp late game because they had little choice in the matter?

    They get a gg

Was my team overly immersive and it was really difficult for them to find us?

    They get a gg

Was the Killer a rank 20 with no add-ons or perks and camped because they didn’t know any better?

They get a gg and I’ll let them kill me as well since the Devs should have had matchmaking fixed a long time ago.

Was it a basement Bubba and did my team ignore gens and keep throwing themselves at him in order to get the save?

    They get a gg.

Really, the killer has to be super toxic for me to really not say gg. Since I really don’t find camping or tunneling toxic, I don’t really get mad. More often than not, I find Survivors are the ones that initiate toxic behavior during matches.

Now when I play killer, I’ll be more than happy to write GGEZ in chat if I demolished a sweaty SWF team that brought in red flashlights and multiple toolboxes. They either get enraged or remain silent, which makes me chuckle.

I usually try to be nice, but I’m not afraid to respond in kind when I’m mistreated.

  • Dodge whenever you feel like it. Survivors DC for the slightest things, why not killer too?

  • I don’t think the Devs would be able to handle balancing the game with a 5th perk slot.

I rather they just improve the game.

    And add more nudity.

  • As survivor, if the killer is competent, nothing other than being respectful and not t-bag, flashlight click or repeatedly vault thing to get their attention.

If it’s a baby killer that is just getting destroyed, I’d try to meme with them and let them kill me. I’ll even avoid doing a lit totem if I think they’re a rank 20.

As killer, if they’re a decent survivor team, nothing. They don’t deserve any consideration if it makes things harder for me.

If it is super obvious they’re a bunch of potatoes that don’t know what they’re doing and I can easily stomp them? I’ll slug them all, make sure that Bill dies on hook, and then let the rest of them struggle off of my shoulder and farm. Bill must die unless he dances and twirls for me, then maybe, and that’s a big MAYBE, I’ll let him live.

"The reason for why camping is bad is because it is considered “toxic”. If Survivors want it punishes die to it being toxic then Survivors should be punished for doing things that killers consider toxic as well."

I personally don't consider "camping" toxic, but as a killer don't earn anything from it. Infact the majority of killers i face everyday, who are constantly in red rank, don't camp at all and they bring home 3/4K ez. Those who camp are usually rank green/purple who get stuck in long tunneling chases. You're not getting good at the game, you're just waiting for a teammate to come for the save, so you can have free hits and a chance to down another one without the need of a chase. Try instead to learn how to chase, mind game, counter loops etc. Camping is not a value. Almost all games where i find a hook camper 2/3 survivors escapes without many problems. So, i don't get the value in it.

It is considered toxic because it’s something that Survivors don’t like. Anything Survivors don’t like is considered toxic to them. Killer have NOED? Toxic! killer have a mori? Toxic! Killer playing Spirit or Billy or Doctor? Toxic! Killer tunnel and/or slug to “apply pressure”? Toxic!

Not everyone plays the same and not everyone wants to get better. Some just play for fun. Maybe killers who camp do so because they think it’s the smarter play since more often than not the survivors teammates are potatoes hiding in the bushes the whole time, or are overly altruistic and abandon all gens in order to save the hooked?

Maybe the killer chased that survivor for a while and decided that they had enough of a chase for that match and wanted to defend his capture? Why should the killer be forced to continuously chase survivors and be subjected to unbalanced maps that favor survivors the majority of time?

Want camping to be less common? Tell the devs to make playing Killer less stressful. Ask them to hurry up with the map reworks that will balance the game better. As things stand, Survivors use everything at their disposal to loop, stun or blind the killer. It’s not fun for the killer to repeatedly get stunned or blinded, or taken on a god loop over and over. Why can’t Killers use any tactic that they want to make sure they get a kill?

It’s because Survivors only care for their fun. They never care about whether or not the Killer is having fun.

Again, Camping isn’t the problem, the problem is with the Survivors who refuse to get better at looping, juking, or refuse to run perks the punish the killer, or refuse to let one die when they could do gens. You don’t even need to get good at looping, you have the option to play more immersive and not get caught.

Noed a problem? Maps and detectives hunch counter it.

Im not saying that it’s fun for a Survivor to get camped, I’m just saying that why should the killer care about their fun when the vast majority do not care about the killer.

Also, I play a lot of DbD. I rarely face a camping killer. Maybe 1 out of every 6-7 games so I get a face camper. It’s not as big of a problem as people on the forums are making it out to be.

I find the best thing to prevent camping is to not bring in items (which are not needed to have fun) and to be respectful to the killer when playing against them.

  • @aurum_exe said:

    https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/1062732#Comment_1062732

Well t-bag and flashlight clicking doesn't affect the game at all like camping a hook does. They have no relevance in gameplay mechanics. That could irritate the killer, but if the killer gets irritated by it, it's his own problem. When i play killer t-bag and flashlight clicking make me laugh, not because i feel superior but because the animations are funny. What the players in general should understand is that DbD isn't a serious game at all. It's a dark-tragic-comedy mood and doesn't need to be taken seriously! Look at the animations! It's a cartoon!

Once in a chat a killer said "i don't care about bloodpoints i just wanna kill people". You know, if you take this game with this mindset at the point to get angry because of t-bag and flashlight clicking, and you stab a survivor on hook, you need pills. DbD is fun and frustrating at the same time, i know, but it doesn't need to go that way.

The reason for why camping is bad is because it is considered “toxic”. If Survivors want it punishes die to it being toxic then Survivors should be punished for doing things that killers consider toxic as well.

Now if Survivors want camping changed or punished for being “unfair” or “unbalanced” then that’s a different story. So far I haven’t seen anyone give a good reason why camping should be considered either, instead it’s just Survivors complaining about something they don’t like.

Camping has counters and Killers get punished for it.

    1. Kindred counters camping killers by denying the killer another hook or slug.
    2. DS is another counter that will extend the time the killer is in a chase, giving the Survivors teammates more time to complete generators.
    3. BT allows Survivors to unhook safely in front of the Killer while also discouraging the killer from pursuing the recently unhooked.
    4. Just doing gens while killer is camping applies pressure on the killer. Even if it doesn’t, Survivors could still escape when the gens are done. They could also bring in a key and escape through the hatch.
    5. Learning how to run loops better will also help survivors from getting caught and prevent them from getting camped.
    6. Learning how to mind game and juke will also prevent them from getting camped.

Not everything in the game should revolve around making it easier for Survivors. Survivors don’t deserve a 4 man escape every match. What you may find boring and annoying may be fun for the opponent.

What did the majority of Survivors post on the forums when the Ruin nerf was announced? Oh yeah, “Apply Pressure” or “Git Gud”. Those apply to survivors as well.

  • Have fun with whatever game you choose to fill the hole!

He said "if the killer is within a certain radius of a hook". Speed up gen X2 still an exaggeration tho. These killers are struggling a lot lately. I agree btw that if the killer persist camping inside a certain range from a hook, he should have same penalties. Many killers don't use camping or tunneling like a strategy. I have seen killers repeatedly stab survivors while on hook. That shows a toxic behavior and should be punished.

Stabbing people while on hook. These people need a doctor. A very good one.

So when will Survivors get punished for T-bagging and flashlight clicking? I mean, they are toxic behaviors and should be punished. For each t-bag the killers speed should increase by 10 percent. For every flashlight click the survivor should have a completed gen get completely broken down.

  • Demogorgon needs to be able to fly and spit acid at survivors

  • If the killer is garbage for using NoEd then the survivors who fall victim to it must be sewage for not being smart enough to counter it.

    Let me rephrase:

I care very little for opinions that lack nuance or come off as entitled / emotionally imbalanced. There are several who offer absolutely nothing to these conversations and have a thread history of behaving exactly like Calabrum.

That being said, my opinion and observations won't change; so arguing with me is pointless. I did however appreciate your perspective.

Then you must not like many of your own posts in this thread. None of them are nuanced nor are they unbiased. In fact, after reading this thread, it seems as if you feel entitled to express your opinion while ignoring others.

If you are so adamant about people not being able to change your mind, why post this thread in the first place? You talk about others not offering anything to the discussion, yet you’ve done the same.
