That movie is not a crappy movie. It was very enjoyable.

As for me, I really liked Miss Congeniality and Idle Hands.

  • I'd get Left4Dead2 and wait for Dbd to go on sale.

  • It just seems like poor sportsmanship. You already hooked them, why do you need to keep hitting them? Showboating? It's the same with t-bagging and pointing at the Killer after stunning them with a pallet.

Thats an interesting idea. It also encourages people that belong there to stay at the higher ranks.

However, unless I missed something, I dont think theyre overhauling tge ranking system. I think tge plan is a hidden skill level and then ranks hidden so only you can see your rank, which is essentially completely meaningless at that point (not that it means a ton now).

I am too lazy to search for the quote, but I am pretty sure that the Devs have confirmed that the ranking system has a new algorithm that has already been implemented into the game to collect data on players and to better rank them in the future. Matchmaking and ranking really are the most vital things that need to be improved for a better Dbd.

If hidden rankings mean I get more fun games with people of similar skill, I will have no problem. But if it turns out to be more or less of the same, I will be moving on to new pastures. I have a bunch of free games from the Epic store that I need to play.

  • I disagree with the concept of buffing solo in order to bring them closer to swf. There isn't a need for it since anyone can make friends and play swf if they want more information. I find that it is just an excuse for survivors to get more buffs.

    What needs to happen is:

    A. Matchmaking and Rankings need an overhaul. Thankfully, the Devs are working on this and hopefully, this would fix a lot of frustration with having bad teammates at higher rankings.

    B. The game needs to be balanced more around higher ranking players rather than average solo players. This isn't to say that lower ranking matches shouldn't be considered. They should implement a system to where Perk Slots unlock depending on your ranking rather than your character level. So people that are rank 17-20 should have 1 perk slot available, 13-16 should have 2 slots available, 9-12 should have three available and 1-8 should get all 4 available. Then they could make it to where certain perks only unlock at specific ranks as well. This would make it easier to balance the game for each of those rank groups and to not overwhelm newer and weaker players while ensuring a more fair matchmaking.

I am not a game developer so I know I my suggestion can be bad, but with the way things are not, some of this stuff needs to change.

  • It is because they are vying for the position of Hokage and they know if they get rid of the Ultra Ninja Claudette, they would have a chance for the position.

  • I like Ohmwrecker because he isn't super try hard and plays for fun. I also enjoy his screams of terror and his complete change in personality when he plays Killer.

I also like notOtzdarva. He is good at the game and seems like a nice guy.

  • I hate the map as a Survivor and a Killer. I actually hate all indoor maps with a passion. I'd rather get cornfields.

The new Silent Hill map has me worried.

yup facing the typical x4 Dwight SWF with the red tshirt and red caps

I’d take any Dwight combo over the usual quad Bloody Blendettes. At least with Dwight, I have something nice and plump to look at when I chase him. Claudette causes my eyes to bleed.

My first question would be...can you really not count to 3?

Kind of difficult to remember who is who and how many times they were hooked when everyone is the same character wearing the same cosmetics.

Also, the repeated pallet stuns and incessant flashlight blinds May cause the temporary loss of arithmetic skills.

I’m not even bothering with this challenge.

It’s not hard to do. If my dumb potato butt can do it with Hag, you can do it too!

  • It is rude and a sign of immaturity. I don’t think the Devs have said it isn’t bad manners, it’s just not really severe enough for punishment.

Best thing to do is to either play normally, catch the T-bagger if you can and camp and tunnel them till they die or you can ignore them the whole match.

If at the start of the match Survivors want to be rude with T-bagging, flashlight clicking or vault spamming, I just go to the basement and wait till they finish gens. They are more than likely to forget about totems and come down to bother me and not realize I have NoEd active. Then I get a couple of easy Kills. This makes them mad because they didn’t make much blood points and they got caught in the basement like an idiot.

  • Use Hag with the add-on that doesn’t let the Survivor know they tripped a trap and trap all the gens. Wait for the survivors to trip the trap, teleport and grab.

  • You should know that Survivors will complain about anything.

I let a Survivor go and motioned for them to do a gen because I felt bad with how early in the game I caught them. They tbagged and ran. I ended up getting trash talked by them in the end.

I was playing Freddy today and I wanted to trigger Blood Warden. In order to do so, I consistently let Survivors go by slugging them and leaving them or by breaking chases if I had already hooked them. I got called a try hard for having NoEd and tunneling. Luckily, one of the ur teammates came to my defense (it was a happy surprise).

This pretty much seems to be the norm for me lately - at least on XBOX And the general feeling I get from these newer people is that they barely want to keep playing. I message every low ranked killer saying good job vs us red ranks and to hang in there MM is broke. Games where the rank range is huge always makes me feel crummy.

I dusted off my Plague last night since I never play with her and got sent to Lampkin Lane. I got my butt handed to me by a swf. I couldn't down anyone and gens went down to 2 left. I ended up facing a corner in the basement until they left. It wasn't enough for them, they wanted to rub it in my face and stayed until the egc timer was almost up. Then they just laughed in the chat.

I wanted to take out my rage upon the next group of Survivors and equipped Freddy. I was ready to tunnel, proxy camp and just be a jerk. But as the match went on, I couldn't bring myself to do it. They were just average players that were obviously playing to have fun and were barely able to do one gen even though all of them have gotten hooked. I felt bad and just scared them off here and there until I finally decided to spare a cute little Meg. I let the all farm with me and had a good time.

Nearly Killed them all because I forgot I had Blood Warden and I wanted to at least hook them all one more time for points before they left. Luckily, I remembered just in time.

Trapper + Pig....oh my word those rbts are never coming off. Or hag + pig 👀

Hag and Pig would break the game. Just place a trap at all the disarming stations.

I am partial to Trapper so I would pick Trappy Boi and Sir Fredrick. Being able to leave bear traps and pools of blood while having the ability to teleport to gens?

Edited: to remove the GT in 1st pic.

This chat makes me sad. People just want to play games for fun and escape life for a bit and then you have buttheads that ruin the experience for them. I wish I had super powers, one of the would be for the ability to telekinetically smack someone from anywhere in the world. I'd smack all these toxic people over and over.

  • In all seriousness, I love this thread, thanks for creating it. It’s always nice to see players behaving wholesomely with on another. It’s better than a lot of trash that I see in endgame chat.

  • Lies! OP is obviously good with photoshop! Everyone knows that the DbD community is toxicity incarnate. Players never congratulate their opponents.

  • I would assume so since they are reworking the graphics of the game to bring them more in line with current gen stuff.

  • Recently, I had a swf equipped with OoO and proceeded to vault spam as soon as the match started. I waited in the basement and let them rush the gens. Instead of doing totems, opening chests and leaving, they had to come find me. I down and hook two of them with NoEd. The other two leave. Lots of salt about how I dared to not play the game how they wanted me to play and that I caused them to get few points.

Another was 4k with Trapper. 2 gens pop really fast, I down and hook someone in shack basement. I have bloody coil equipped so if they disarm my trap, they get injured. I seal every entrance into the shack. They all died pretty quickly.

I think Trapper needs to just have a loadout of 8 traps or so, and he can always just put them down wherever. When they get tripped or disarmed, he gets them back, but never has to pick them up.

Thats fine too, but it should be 10 with how large some maps are. The Silent Hill map seems to be pretty big from the streams I have been watching.

I still want Bloody Coil to be buffed to down Injured Survivors. It's not a must, but I would be nice if Survivors had to think twice before they do anything.

  • @Rydog said:

Cannibal and Wraith need full Freddy-caliber reworks/remakes.

Trapper needs serious buffs, which should include not ever needing to pick up his power off the floor.

Pig and Legion need reworks in the vein of Doctor, because they are frustrating to play against thanks to bad mechanics (Pig's traps that encourage tunneling, and Legion's constant bleeds that are just teeth-gnashing to deal with).

Plague needs some sort of counterplay rework that doesn't completely discourage survivors from ever healing, while also making Plague not entirely reliant on players healing to use her power.

I don't think he needs a whole new rework like the Doctor. All I want for Trapper is to have his Stitched Bag as base kit and to make Bloody Coil to act as it currently does (which is injure a healthy Survivor) and to down an injured Survivor that disarms it.

As if there aren't a million examples of Killers posting this exact same garbage. 🙄 There are always THOSE people, on both sides.

I hardly ever see a Killer initiate the insults during end game chat. It is usually Survivors that start. If there were a million examples of Killers messaging like that, you would see it more often on the forums, instead, it is usually Killers posting screenshots of derogatory remarks by Survivors.

There was one match, first survivor I found, I started chasing them. They jumped in a locker, I pulled them out, and they DC'd. Beginning of the match, not one hook yet. Next thing I know, I'm getting a message, "You tunneler! The devs said tunneling is cheating. I'm reporting you. You're gonna get banned. Stop cheating."

    o_0

I still cannot for the life of me figure out what the hell... I mean, stuff like that makes me believe some survivors really do only want a gen repair sim. That's the only way I can think to interpret that message.

Its because they want the Killer to play the game on their terms. I play mostly Solo Survivor until I get burnt out and switch to Killer. I see people dcing at the start of the match because it’s a Killer they don’t like (Hag gets a lot of DCs when I face her) or if they get caught first.

If they truly wanted challenging games, they’d never run DS, but they don’t, they just want to feel powerful.

If they truly wanted a challenge there would be no complaints about NoEd since it can be a challenge to find all five totems, or to search for one lit totem when the gens are done, but no, they rush to the forums to cry and accuse Killers for wanting to use a crutch perk.

If Survivors wanted a challenge they wouldn’t use discord when playing Swf and Solo wouldn’t be asking for buffs to be more inline with Swf as well. You wouldn’t see any post about wanting a Totem counter or asking for more communication in the game.

Near the end of a match, a Meg got unhooked, I hooked someone else. Before I could even leave the hook, a healed Meg ran over to make the save in my face. If I hit her, she gets injured and then makes the save. Hell, if I try to hit her, there' s a large possibility that the "aim assist" will screw me over and hit the hooked survivor. So, I grab her, get DS'd, and she still makes the save.

I don't feel outplayed in that scenario, just screwed over. She got to make a bad play and get away with it and there was nothing I could do to stop her. No matter what I did, she got to make that save in my face. Moments like that make me wonder how there are any killer players left. Seeing a streamer click "leave match" when he gets DS'd after killing three survivors (chases down the final survivor left on the map and then gets DS'd, there's no one else to go after there's only one [BAD WORD]ing survivor left!) says a lot about the absolute frustration these perks can cause when they punish someone for just daring to play killer.

But that’s ok, because it helps Survivors win. Killers are supposed to play how Survivors dictate, if not they’re immediately labeled as bad or in fun.

If they truly wanted a challenge, they would never complain about tunneling or slugging. Camping I can understand, but the other two strategies actually challenges Survivors with loads of pressure, pressure they do not want. Instead, they want the Killer to go to the other side of the map until they finish healing.

They refuse to admit that the game is set up to give them advantage during a chase, while slowing the Killer at the same time. No, they believe that their ability to loop is all skill.

If they truly wanted a challenge, they wouldn’t have complained about the map reworks, nor would they have complained about Ruin or NoEd. But there are always complaints.

I feel like you’re somehow defending survuvors leaving, if they suicide on first hook technically there is still a game but it is absolutely ruined. A 3 vs 1 game is drastically different than 4 vs 1.

Survuvors can get out of a game that is “unfun,” by running at the killer and dying on first hook. How does the killer get out of an “unfun game,” in less than a minute?

IF you want to punish AFK killers the punishment should be the same as suicide survivors get

If they do start punishing gun afk Killers, people will just play Insidious Basement Hag, Trapper or Bubba and sit there until Survivors show up.

I had a game yesterday where as soon as the match started (I took like two steps), one of the Survivors vault spammed to get my match. They also had OoO. I was like screw this, I’m not going to be anyone’s punching bag, not interested in sweating.

I headed straight to the basement and let them Rush gens. They refused to leave right away and came to me. In their rush to hold M1, they forgot about totems. I downed and hooked two of them with NoEd and the other two left.

End game chat was full of salt. They were mad I wasted their time, they didn’t get the points they wanted. How dare I refuse to be looped by them. But not one of them ever considered how I felt playing a Trap killer while they had OoO and can see me placing all my traps. Not one of them considered how annoyed I would get with the Vault Spamming.

The way I see it, I didn’t break any rules and Killed two people. There is nothing stating that I have to get into chases or protect gens. So if they want to ban afk players, we have a work around, protect the basement chest.

  • No, I’m not a fan of gore. Maybe a tiny bit more blood, but that’s it.

Id much rather they give ups higher polygon character models with higher resolution textures and better, unique animations (especially facial animations) for Survivors.

I like how each of the Killers have their own gait and wish that would cross over to Survivors.

  • He has magic eyes that allows him to see through his helmet.

  • I am still waiting for the stupid shrine to feature it and BBQ. I feel like I'll be old and decrepit before it becomes available.

  • I always try to do what I call High Priority Gens which are located in the center of the map. I feel like it helps prevent 3 gen situations in end game and will force the Killer to travel farther when patrolling gens. Unfortunately, I think I am the only one in Solo that does this.

  • Fake News! This was obviously photoshopped. There are no nice people in DbD!

Believe me when I say this. Everyone ran it when it came out. The perks were leaked when Plague and Jane came out, they were available in KYF so everyone knew months before Ash came out what his perks were going to be and people were already saying the perk was going to shake the Meta and they still didn't change it.

They waited for their money, waited a couple of weeks, then nerfed the perk to the ground.

It went from an S+ Tier perk, to F Tier. It had 0 counters.

It was Meta, it was DS, Dead Hard, Mettle of Man and your 4th Perk.

This is why I never use real money for video game characters unless they’ve been around for a while and are on sale, and even then, I still don’t like spending when I had to buy the game in the first place. I’ll probably wait 3-5 months before I even think to purchase Pyramid Head, if I’m still around.

I've spent an equivalent of 20k Bloodpoints on survivor in the past month.

I have probably made over 10 million blood points in the last month. I spent it p3ing some characters, leveling up the Spirit I just bought and getting more Bloody Coils for my Trapper.

3 hits from any killer activated Mettle of Man.

So, you get hooked, that's already 2 hits right? You get unhooked, you get HIT, it's activated.

You hit DS, you run off, he finds you again, and you take another hit while injured because of Mettle of Man, and back when Insta-Heals were instant, you can pop off an insta-heal and you'll be a full health starting a fresh chase again.

I don't agree at all with what you said.

I agree the way they released MoM was quite a stupid decision from them.i admit that.

BUT if people were really just buying this DLC just to get this insanely overpowered Perk then that is entirely on them.It was super obvious that this perk would be changed sooner or later.Anyone that disagrees would be delusional.

Also,if you buy any DLC from them and play this game then you also agree that anything in this game is subject to change.

I agree that the exclusives for mobile are a bit unfortunate, but you have to consider that the mobile team is a completely seperate team from the main game.

I also agree that the free track on the battlepass needs improvements because it's basically nothing honestly, but i'm sure they will adress that one.

Regarding the ghostface skin. They only got the permission to implement him in their game first. So they did that with their own little twist. But as soon as they heard that many people want the true ghostface skin from the movie, they managed to get these licenses aswell and those are really really expensive so they can't give them for free obviously.

The devs might make some mistake here and there but overall they really really love their game and try to give us the best experience they can.Look at EA or Activision/Blizzard and then you'll see true greed

I am an ex-Blizz fanboy. I will never do business with them ever again for ruining my childhood games. Behavior is much better when it comes to communicating with us. Sure, they're not as polished, but they provide a very fun and addicting game.

These are awesome suggestions, thanks so much! Should I just think of ditching UE and Adrenaline, then? Adrenaline has saved my skin a lot but its basically sacrificing a perk slot for a brief moment of the game. A sample build here would be Lithe, Dance, Q+Q, Iron Will

First and foremost, Claudette should be your main if you want to be stealthy. Her blending powers really go a long way in avoiding a Killer. You should choose between Iron Will and Calm Spirt. Do you want to be quiet when injured, or do you want to stay quiet when you get shocked from the Doctors blast, Infectious Fright and Iron Maidens scream (you will still be exposed). You will also not disturb birds, so Killers who use Spies from the Shadows lose out as well.

Someone else suggested Bond, which is really good for solo, since you can get to a teammate and heal each other. You really should consider a healing perk if you don't use bond such as Inner Strength since teammates can be unreliable. Plunderers is actually really useful since it often gives you good items such as med kits and keys. It is fantastic when I get a key after facing a tunneling and camping one hook mori-ing killer and escape their clutches.

  • Just spare Quentins, they’re rare enough already.

  • @VectorRises said:

@ayaya they need to be penalized like I said with speed decrease by 5% and no blood lust.. just so the survivors can unhook there teammate and finish escaping

What about when the Killer sees scratch marks leading to the hook? Or he knows that the players he is facing is super altruistic and sees multiple people coming for the hook? Why should he leave the hook to give you an easier time?

Do Survivors avoid doing their objective like they expect the Killer to?

Devs have repeatedly stated that they will not punish camping since it is a legitimate strategy. Yes, I agree, it sucks for the one getting camped, but no one is entitled to have the game go the way they want, nor are they entitled to have their opponent behave how they want them to.

The punishment for camping is to rush generators and leave.

Its literally just running in circles and staying as close to tge wall as possible. The only hard part is being able to judge when to throw the pallet and that comes with experience. When in doubt, just throw the pallet.

My main problem is I just find it difficult to control my left hand with enough dexterity to juke hits and look behind me while running. In order to compensate for my inability to run the Killer, I will do my best to get them as far away from the gens or hooked person as possible. I have gotten pretty decent at throwing the Killer off of my trail as well. I will also pop a gen across the map to get the Killer to come look for me so my teammates have time to heal or finish the gen they're working on.

  • I'm not useless. I will safely unhook, do gens, cleanse totems, and take hits or body block the Killer when needed. I just don't play aggressively since I can't loop. I don't hide in a corner the whole match while the team does everything else.

  • She is amazing on the new Cowboy map. Since I can't loop, Claudette is a God send.

1 … 9 10 11 12 13 … 44
