remember i was doing TOME 1 challenges where you need 5 basement hooks.

    https://www.twitch.tv/videos/2414156406?t=02h39m21s

Thats a 5 hour VOD and while skipping through it I have not seen you play Killer.

  • No, it cannot. At least not the way you described it. As long as you were not pointing out the location of the last Survivor and actively helping the Killer to find them, you are not working with the Killer.

If the Killer decides to let you go for whatever reason, this is no problem at all. It only becomes a problem if it involves actual help.

Tbf this build works like 1 time if the survivor doesnt have goldfish memory so at most they should get a 1k by camping cuz after that they shouldnt get downs. And yeah if you wanna get 4ks you shouldnt run a build that is countered by object permanence.

I mean, this is what I said? People should not expect to win with such a build, but the Community nowadays is way too sweaty for it and expects to get a 4K with a Meme-Build like Jumpscare Myers and since you cannot achieve this with regular gameplay (since he cannot chase), they use the Wallhacks and lack of Terror Radius to camp.

  • It will come to the store eventually. Rift Skins are Rift-exclusive for at least 6 months and after that they can appear in the store. But there is no specific order in which they come to the store, so you just have to wait.

  • Yeah, it is not unlikely that he will get some Nerfs in the future. I dont think it is anything as drastic as Old Alchemist Ring for Blight for example, but as you said, he has 3 abilities and some of those abilities alone are already better than whole Kits for Killers. E.g. Bat Form is arguably better than Spirits Power overall and Spirit is already a very strong Killer.

My biggest issue is probably that he can switch forms so fast after missing with his power. So you dodge a Wolf Pounce and instead of having to wait for a Cooldown to go down (which is the case for most Killers, if you dodge their power, you get rewarded in form of a Cooldown which gives the Survivor some breathing room), he switches to his Standard Form and will just use Hellfire.

But they need to be careful what exactly to change on him.

  • Killer - 3K, quite simple. Anything above (4K or no Gates open) is bonus.

Survivor - either if I escape AND at least one another Survivor escapes as well (so 2 Escapes including me) or if I die and the three others escape.

No offense but aren't you the one who likes to complain about killer players that always expect the worst case scenario when it comes to killer changes and new killers? Why on earth are you doing the same for the survivor side?

The last time they did something (Anti-FACEcamping as Killers like to make it clear) it is inefficient and probably more frustrating. Plus measurement one of Anti-Slugging is not "Anti-Slugging", only giving the Survivors a chance to give up.

And the actual measurements for Anti-Slugging which might even be ineffective, can also only arrive in December.

  • I dont know, I think the challenge is fine. Takes a few games, but not every challenge needs to be completed in one game. I prefer something like Last Minute Hero over those Challenges which basically read "Play the game" or "Throw the game" (e.g. Totem cleansing…) or completely unreasonable Challenges like getting 3 Grabs in a game.

You will get it eventually, just not on the first try. I recommend to just leave this challenge for last.

  • @Smoe said:

I fully expect the chapter to not live up to the hype and will cause people to be disappointed over the final product.

I honestly expect the same. I mean, their Operation Health they are currently doing is also thanks to FNAF bringing a lot of new players into the game. This will be a big part of it.

But people will be disappointed if the Chapter does not turn out exactly as they wished it would have turned out. And I am very sure that this will happen, simply because expectations are sky-high.

  • While something like described in OP can happen, IMO it is more rare than people pretend it to be. Most of the time the Hatch just spawns after a pretty regular game and the Survivor gets it or not.

Personally, I would not care too much about Hatch. First of all, the Killer has the advantage in finding it. This means, if the Survivor finds it before the Killer, they just got lucky. Plus, if not all Gens are done and someone escapes via Hatch, this does not change the fact that the Killer won. Nobody can actually claim the Killer did not win when 3 Gens are remaining and the Killer got a 3K with a Hatch Escape.

And therefore I also think the Killer should not really care if the last person escapes via Hatch. At least not to the point of slugging for a 4K, which just drags out a game the Killer has already won.

But I am honest, I was always of the opinion that a Hatch Escape should grant the Killer the respective BPs for a Sacrifice, as well as the Emblem Points for it. Since the Killer did not really lose against that Survivor (we also see this in the MMR, since a Hatch does not increase or decrease the MMR), but was basically interested in ending the game quicker over ending it in a 4K. This would not remove all instances of slugging for a 4K, but at least most of them I guess.

I think you don’t know what window I’m talking about on Abatoir because I don’t think I’ve ever seen it before until the other day. Maybe it’s a bug but there is a window that spawns in the middle of the long wall with no breakable doors anywhere by it. It’s ridiculous. You can’t even attempt a hatchet till the 2nd time around it’s absurd.

The Window you are describing seems to be the old God Window, if you mean this window:

    202503~2.JPG

It used to be this window without an opening, then got changed into this window with a breakable Wall and then got changed into what we see here.

If you encountered it recently without the opening, then I would assume this is a Bug. It should not spawn this way, so it must be a bug (if it would be intentional we would have seen it more often and more epeople would have rightfully complained about it).

You’re very antagonistic, and wrong. Groaning storehouse has a different window variation with 2 windows with NO breakable wall next to one. That is in fact insane. Why do you think MacMillian map offerings are used so often?

Crotus Prenn main building has one window with a wall next to it and a Godlike window on the other side of the building that is also insane.

Rancid Abatoir has a variant of a God window where you can’t get a hit and one where there is a breakable wall next to it. It doesn’t matter if the map is killer sided; fix the brain dead window tile and add more pallets. There is no reason a survivor needs zero skill besides holding W to waste 45 seconds of killer time.

Don’t even get me started on Mothers Dwelling. THAT window is insane. A lot of the main buildings are problematic in this game. I know you don’t play killer a lot but you should try it, especially a 110% killer. Nothing quite as infuriating as survivors running around a rock 470 times to force you to M1 to boot.

Ok, fair enough on Crotus Prenn, I only just realized you are talking about Chapel (the Clowns Map) and not Asylum. This indeed features a very strong window, I agree.

Still disagree on the rest. But since I know that we wont find an agreement here, I am fine to agree to disagree. I just dont think that those Windows (aside from the one on Chapel) are that strong. And if you struggle on Abattoir, I really dont know what to say.

  • @Bodark said:

There are still insane windows in this game that need to go today. Groaning storehouse is insane, Crotus Prenn has one and Rancid Abatoir.

No 110% killer besides Spirit and Hag can land a hit at any of these loops until the 3rd time around which is a huge time sink. Literally free 40 second chase with zero skill needed against some killers.

Man, you REALLY seem to be struggling at this game when you call those windwos "insane". Groaning Storehouse is dealt with with breaking the wall. The good Window on Crotus Prenn does not even spawn the breakable Wall next to it anymore. And Abattoir is probably one of the most killer-sided maps in the game (granted, more because of the huge deadzones and less because of the Main Building) and the window in the Main Building does close to nothing at this point.

    @Topic:

Nah, it is fine that those Main Buildings were changed. There was nothing more boring than Survivors beelining to those safe Windows, because you basically had to vault them 3 times or have Bamboozle to deal with them. Or, which was the smarter choice, just abandon chase and search for a different Survivor. It is good that those Windows are gone.

The problem with Maps is more that they become more and more killer-sided outside of the Main Buildings. It is fine if you have a weak(er) window in the Main Structure of a Map, but it becomes a problem when you have either deadzones or only very weak pallets around it where Killers can just swing around or respect them and get a hit. Especially because the most recent Killer additions can even easier play around those unsafe tiles. So instead of making the Main Structure-windows super strong and creating something where Survivors will just run to every time (this was a problem with old Grim Pantry for example - the map always spawned big deadzones in the middle and Survivors would just beeline to the strong Pantry-Window, simply because there was nothing else to use), the Main Structures should be okish, but the sorrounding area should be okish as well.

(Even tho, I would say that the Devs can look at Bamboozle at this point. The Perk was introduced to help with those super strong windows, but nowadays is only a brainrot-Perk where Killers just vault every window to shut it down instead of trying to play the Tile, since there is not really any unmindgameable tile left in the game)

  • I dont really have a strong opinion on them. I am fine if they are moving away from breakable Walls and dont implement them anymore, I think overall they were a failed concept.

When it comes to those which are already in the game, I like some, but dislike others. E.g. I hate Dead Dawg Saloon for the breakable Walls. I think they are poorly implemented because there are way too many of those. But I like breakable Walls like the one upstairs on Ironworks of Misery, since otherwise the area there would be unuseable for Survivors, so there is at least some use for the window upstairs. Basically, I dont mind if they are dropped God Pallets, but it depends on the amount of them. One per map is fine, but if there are too many it becomes too tedious.

But as I said, would be totally fine if they just dont bother with breakable Walls anymore.

  • @CountOfTheFog said:

You used to be able to mod in this game? Really? When did that begin and end?

A few years ago, but it only lasted for a few months. Players were modding in Legacy-Outfits for characters who dont have any or own cosmetics.

But obviously there are several reasons why this is not good - e.g. it potentially reduces BHVRs income, since people can just use modded cosmetics instead of buying the actual ones. And obviously they can also provide unfair advantage, e.g. making Killer powers visitible (there were bright pink trapper Traps) or making Survivors super visible by giving them bright cosmetics.

  • Or they are not as careful with it as you want and they just finally change Boil Over to a Perk which is not only brought for stuff like this.

(Chances are high that the measurements are completely inefficient and will only be relevant once in a blue moon…)

  • IMO the only reason why Aestri uses the male animations is because Aestri and Baermar are the same Survivor just with different skins. So they were limited to which animation set they will use. And I think this is also the reason why Aestri is an elf.

  • Yeah, I dont understand this either. At the very least those things should just not be useable, but randomizing them would be fine as well. And Offerings of course, even tho this might be resolved when Map Offerings dont guarantee a Map anymore.

Because currently it is indeed the case that those who want to sweat will just bring the best stuff and a Map Offering.

And I dont even understand why this is the case - the Devs brought back Chaos Shuffle three times, this is the fourth time we have Chaos Shuffle. The first time they said they did not want to do any changes because they wanted to bring the mode back quickly, which is fair enough. But now we have it the fourth time and no changes. Meanwhile they made changes to every version of 2v8 and the one time Lights Out returned they also made changes to this.

At this point it seems like the Devs are fine with players sweating in a funmode.

That tells me everything I need to know, thanks! There is a reason why advanced teams always harass his traps.

On top of that: Removing a bear Trap for feee, Removing condemned for free, cleansing uroborous for free, cleansing contamination for free, STOPPING A CHAIN HUNT FOR FREE, removing drones for free, kicking victor for free.

Plenty of powerful things to counter killers and their powers that you have to do anyways but now you can do it with 3 health states. On TOP of iron will and distortion all rolled into a single perk.

You really must not play that often, which is fine. But still making such a strong statement without really knowing about it is kind of strange.

I would classify most of them not as important as doing Gens. Basically only the Chain Hunt is important for the team, the rest is not really significant or useful when you spend time off Gens.

Nobody will run around searching for Victor to kick him instead of doing Gens for example. A person running around looking for Trapper Traps will also not be helpful - you spend a lot of time off Gens for no Game Progression. Same for the Drones.

The rest is somewhat part of how you have to play against said Killers, I would not really use those as examples.

And nah, I play the game quite a bit:

    DBDHours.png

So I would assume that I have a bit of experience. Not saying that I am always right, but for me the best thing a Survivor can do is sitting on a Gen when not being chased or unhooking/healing someone. The rest might have a time and place, but I would never prioritize disarming Traps or removing Drones over Gen Progression. Because in the end, I can disarm a Million Beartraps and it would not bring the team closer to an escape.

Chaos shuffle should also have random items, addons, offerings, random selection of killers and survivors but it's still the same.

Random Characters goes a little bit far. If I want to play Billy, I want to play Billy and not suddenly be on Freddy.

I also dont even think that Add Ons, Items or Offerings would need to be random. Just disabling them would be enough. I just hate how people sweat in Chaos Shuffle, which is supposed to be a fun mode by bringing 4 Medkits, the best Add Ons or a Map which benefits them the most.

  • @Bodark said:

    https://forums.bhvr.com/dead-by-daylight/discussion/comment/3898073#Comment_3898073

Do you actually play this game? Just curious.

It really doesn’t seem like it because people with even basic fundamentals will harass killer powers. Going around the map disarming trapper traps is huge. And you can do it for free.

As if you really need someone who disables Killer-Powers for the Killers which have a power which is in the environment and lying around.

And yes, I would rather take a person on a Generator than someone who thinks they are useful disarming Trapper Traps.

  • This would not really work. For Survivor it would impossible to work, because they are just skins. If I played Nea for 1000 hours and then start playing Feng does not erase the knowledge I gained from playing Nea.

For Killer it is similar - if I play a lot of Wraith, I will do well on any M1-Killer, since the basic gameplay is the same.

In both cases you would have knowledge which you can transfer to the new character, which would just mean that players who are actually new to the game will a really hard time.

  • @Bodark said:

Getting a flashlight save should be a conspicuous action. Along with disabling killer powers. Kind of weird how I could run around the map with OTR while fully healed disabling all of merchants drones only to have 3 health states when she tries to stop me.

I hope I dont have you in my team then, because people who run around for 80 seconds with their OTR active instead of progressing the game are just helping the Killer.

  • Additional mandatory objectives can only be implemented with a reduction of Gen Times. You cannot have 90 second Gens and then slap an additional mandatory objective on top of it, this would just skyrocket the Killrates. There is a reason why the optional objectives (Chests and Totems) are not really done anymore, because there is not really much time to waste it with doing Dull Totems or opening Chests.

IMO Boons were a good optional secondary Objective, CoH was fine before the last Nerf (I would say it was even a bit too weak, people who were booning were hurting the team, but it iwas still fine), but nowadays Boons are not a good optional Objective anymore. And all other optional things which can be done are mostly Noobtraps, e.g. Invocations or Perks like Overzealous, they have way more investment and Downsides than benefits.

If they want to implement a secondary mandatory Objective like adding Fuel to Generators, they would need to find an average on how much time this will take and reduce the Gen Repair Time by roughly the same amount. E.g. if it takes around 30 seconds to gather fuel on average, Gen Repair Time should be cut down to 60 seconds. This would already be beneficial for Killers since it would involve Survivors having to move around, which makes it easier to get into a chase for the Killer.

However, this would be a hard thing to balance. 30 seconds on average would mean that it could also take 20 seconds in some cases or 40 seconds in other cases. And then we factor in the strength of a Killer - a Nurse would benefit way more from Survivors moving around than a Trapper. And THEN when we add that the Trapper might be unlucky and the Survivors find their fuel in 20 seconds (making the overall time for a Gen to be repaired 80 seconds) or a Nurse might become lucky because the Survivors take 40 seconds (making one Gen take 100 seconds), we would have even more problems with balance.

So overall I dont really think that another objective should be implemented, at least on Baseline.

  • I dont think that this would be really popular and therefore not really worth implementing. It sounds really boring and I would rather be in the next game, even after being camped and/or tunneled, instead of being in the same game, just without anything meaningful to do.

And thats the thing - even if this would be a feature with different ideas than the ones you provided, it would have to be something which does not help at all with game progression. And this does not really leave anything left, since you cannot be chased and you cannot progress the game, all that is left is doing meaningless stuff.

At worst people can also just be ghosts to constantly open and close lockers or something like this. So it can also be potentially annoying… For both sides btw, you can troll the Killer by opening lockers to trigger noise notifications or you troll Survivors by opening lockers next to them to rat them out to the Killer.

  • @CrypticGirl said:

Taking any kind of hit would disable the endurance completely regardless of intention, whether it was a conspicuous action or not.

Endurance yes, but DS exists. If protection hits would be conspicious actions, a Killer who proxycamps will get rid of DS immediatly by just hitting the Unhooker during the Unhook, then the unhooked person to get them into Deep Wound (removing Endurance and DS because it was a protection Hit) and is then completely free to tunnel.

I literally dc in the loading screen if I see my teammate burns a coldwind or haddonfield offering. They think they’re still in 2020 where you can bully killer’s on these realms🤣

I play those matches out, but I am always like "ugh, why are you doing this?".

But they are really nice as Killer, if the Survivors send me to Haddonfield or Coldwind.

  • They went back to it multiple times. First the maps got smaller when they reworked a lot of maps. Then they decided to rework Cowshed and Abattoir - Cowshed was completely justified, Abattoir was fine before and is now super-weak.

And then they decided to create new Tiles and put them into Coldwind, replacing the Jungle Gyms and other good structures 1:1 with those weird, very unsafe Tiles, without adding any more Filler Pallets to compensate for it.

So yeah, currently we are at the point where every Survivor who burns a Map Offering for Coldwind seems to not have gotten the Memo that they are making it really easy for the Killer.

  • @TieBreaker said:

Yeah, it's a shame the playstyle is mostly dead now. I wouldn't mind if the add-on guaranteed a random indoor map or something like that. Just so Jumpscare Myers is still a thing. It wouldn't be that annoying, as you almost never see that build now anyways.

Nah, not really. IMO Scratched Mirror is not even good on most Indoor Maps. You dont want The Game or Hawkins with Scratched Mirror, even Midwich is pretty difficult.

And, more important - I am happy when the Build is gone. The community is just too sweaty for it nowadays, most people using Scratched Mirror are just using it to camp with Wallhacks. It is a Meme-Build, but most players want to 4K with it, for them it is not about getting some Jumpscares or a Gengrab here and there, it is about getting a 4K. And this really ruined the build IMO.

  • He is certainly stronger, but IMO something I said when they reworked him just confirmed itself - he is still really boring to play and face. And this is also visibile in his pickrate, at least in my Survivor-games. He is not as rare as he used to be, but I almost never face him. Which might be alright, since realistically there are so many Killers that statistically it can go a while until you encounter one specific Killer, but I just feel that his rework tackled his strength (or lack of it), but not the overall enjoyment of playing him or playing against him. He is just so boring.

To give a perspective - I think it is pretty dumb that he can teleport to Gens next to unhooked Survivors, since one counterplay is to keep the Unhooker awake so that healing can be done. But a Gen next to it removes it immediatly, he should have some restriction like Dredge has. But, I dont even care enough about that since I never encounter Freddy anyway. This is how rare he is for me.

  • But this is what Sacrificial Wards are for. They are brown Offerings, you will have plenty of them. Use them or dont complain.

Map Offerings will be changed anyway in the near future.

  • I feel that you dont understand that the change was overall actually good for Killer. They traded something which does not really happen in regular gameplay (kicking Gens more than 8 times) against a Buff in Regression done by Kicks (5% instead of 2,5%) and the inability for Survivors to tap a Gen mid-chase to stop it regressing.

This was an overall win for Killer. The "compensation" they got was way better than what they lost (unless you played for 3-Gens from the start of a game and never intended to go into any chases).

So yeah, hard disagree to your post. I would agree if we reduce the Regression via Kicks to 2,5% and bring back Gentapping. And then I want to see how someone like you will argue.

you definitely misunderstood me, first of all players should be not put on another server for the sake of having lower queue times, never ever. That's the first and probably the most widespread problem when the word is about bad ping.

Not really. From my experience when this happens (and indeed it does happen sometimes), all 5 players are from a different region, e.g. 5 European players are on an East Coast-Server and all of them have high Ping. But this is quite rare.

What is not rare is that as Survivor with a good Ping you face a Killer with a really bad Ping and get the most unreasonable Hits.

I get more BP struggling during 2nd hook phase. Eating good doesn't come from Wiggle.

You will get even more BP if you dont get caught and escape. So what is your point?

  • As others have said, the Wiggle-mechanic just should ensure that the Killer cannot freely choose any Hook they like. Otherwise you would probably end up in Basement against any Trapper or Hag and would not make it out. Or the Killer would always be able to ensure a Scourge Hook.

And Wiggle Skill Checks basically exist because the previous system was just not good. Before you had to mash two buttons to wiggle, the Devs changed this to reduce wear on Keyboards and Controllers. Instead we have Wiggle Skill Checks now who originally reduced the Wiggle Time a bit (not by any significant amount, around 1 second when you hit all Great Skill Checks which also got smaller over time) and now the Great Skill Checks increase the strafing of the Killer when carrying (also not by a significant amount).

Overall you should see those Skill Checks as another source of BP, this is what they basically are. Even tho I have to say they should change it that Good Skill Checks make it easier for the Killer to carry someone. It does not make sense that hitting Skill Checks is bad for the Survivor.

Just to make everyone aware here.

    You think:

Hitting a survivor straight off the hook, and being able to down them, is fair gameplay?

Also note that he even said "anti-camp", while Killers usually never get tired to say that it is just meant to prevent face-camping. So either he is thinking that direct face-camping should be possible or he wants to claim that the feature is way, way, way more impactful than it actually is.

(And obviously he ignores every Killer-Buff including 10 seconds more on Gens which should have come with a Hook Timer increase in the first place…)

Because each killer is more or less suppose to be matched with its own MMR. If the system works as intended, I should be matched with experienced survivors when playing my best killers and inexperienced survivors when playing my worst.

Yes, but this obviously does not work when a player tries out a new Killer. You should know that by now, so I dont get your post. It would not make any sense to have people start at the lowest MMR when trying out a new Killer.

And after a while the MMR should settle itself.

  • @LordGlint said:

This is a game I had where for some reason I kept getting lag spikes. Clearly this gave me HUGE advantages... The weird survivor movements and rubberbanding were awesome. I checked my ping immediately afterwards to see it went back to 50. Sometimes...servers just suck.

Lag Spikes =/= high ping. A stable but high ping gives you an advantage. Lag spikes do not.

  • It is just parrotting. This held a lot of truth when the game came out and lost a lot of it over the years. Nowadays if people say that Survivors get too much, they are just struggling at the game and think because the game used to be heavy survivor-sided that this is still the case and it is ok to claim that Survivors get too much help.

OP was not talking about extreme cases of camping, tunneling or slugging. At least they did not frame their argument that way. This is yet another general slugging/tunneling/camping complaint without any sort of qualifier like “hey, I am talking about extreme cases where the killer is doing this just to be a jerk”. If it was, I would agree with you. But when people throw out these general complaints about tactics that are 1) very much allowed in the game and 2) sometimes if not often necessary depending on what level you play at, I am going to give the same response I always do.

I was not talking to OP, I was talking to you because I think that your "show us all how to win consistently without ever using slugging, tunneling, camping or 3-genning in any situation" is just silly and unreasonable.

  • People are still complaining about Iron Will? It was already silly when the Buff was announced and it is even more silly now. I almost never see this Perk anymore because it is way more beneficial to bring an Exhaustion-Perk and - shocker, who could have predicted that! - people would rather run Exhaustion-Perks than Iron Will which will disable when exhausted.

The Perk is alright, but even I as a Iron Will-enjoyer who wanted the Perk to be useable (since everything below 100% noise reduction is unuseable, despite what some people might claim) am not running it anymore, since it just does not really justify running it instead of an Exhaustion-Perk.

  • So you are against Anime in DBD but want your Furry Fantasies included? Not trying to Kink-Shame here, but people just have different tastes. And it is just logical for BHVR to try a lot to get more and more people to play the game. If a few hundred players join DBD because they like Tokyo Ghoul, this is a win for everyone.

I also dont like FNAF but I cannot ignore the fact that it is a very succesful license and that it will be beneficial for BHVR to bring it to DBD. But that does not mean that I make a Thread in a few months a la "Cringe Animatronics in my silly little horror game? Ew".

  • @I_Cant_Loop said:

why don’t you try playing killer yourself and show us all how to win consistently without ever using slugging, tunneling, camping or 3-genning in any situation. Looking forward to learning how it’s done.

Why is it always this extreme which is used? The problem is not slugging, tunneling, camping, 3-genning or whatever. The problem is the amount which will be used.

Nobody aside from the most entitled Survivor Mains has a problem with getting slugged for pressure. Or being tunneled when the Killer needs to secure a Kill. Or when you get camped because other Survivors are nearby and provide free map pressure. Or going for a 3-Gen when the Survivors mess up.

The problem is extensive slugging up to the point of never picking someone up. Tunneling and camping with 5 Gens to go. 3-Genning from the start without ever having the intention of leaving said 3-Gen.

Same goes for Slowdown-Perks - nobody really has a problem with using 1 or 2 Slowdown-Perks, the problem comes when 4 Slowdown-Perks are stacked - since that much slowdown is not even needed.

And the result is that things get nerfed because people just overdo it. We have seen this with Slowdown-Perks, which got the individual Perks nerfed, since it is the easier solution for BHVR. They could either make them not stackable or nerf the power of the individual Perks and they went with the second one. Sucks for those who only use one or two Slowdowns, but the main reason is because people used 4 Slowdowns.

Same with the Gen Kick Limit - there is 0 issue with holding a 3-Gen when the Survivors messed up. But there is an issue with hodling a 3-Gen from the start. And this is why the Gen Regression Limit was introduced. And people who do extensive slugging, camping and tunneling are the reason why the Devs try to fix those in Phase 2.

Saying "Oh, win without ever doing this and that" is just an extreme which is a) unreasonable and b) waters down the problems which indeed exist in the game and really hurt the Survivor experience. And I dont really know why the Forums are doing that, whenever I say that Killer is not as bad as some people paint it to be, there is sometimes one weirdo who is like "Ok, show us and win 10 games in a row with perkless Trapper".

  • Its just you. The Bots are as helpful as a DCed player. Sometimes they are even worse, since they are really good at bodyblocking.

  • Eyrie of Crows will be nerfed with the next Patch. And if you have problems on MacMillan… I really dont know. The original Maps are some of the most balanced Maps in the game and the variants are pretty killer-sided.

I agree that they should to changes to Badham. But then again, they can also do some changes to Haddonfield, since this is basically Badham in reverse.

The killer has no collision when he picks up (or atleast had a while ago). So if you are a bit earlier you can reach the pallet through the killer, but if you are there at the perfect time to drop, the killer hitbox blocks. And the hitbox is weird, im next to the pallet and cant drop it.

But i think you can always not drop it, even if it looks like it, the only reason you can is because you clip through the killer if you move in while he picks.

I am not talking about Killers picking up, but Killers swinging through Pallets.

Why shouldn't this be allowed? You dropped it to late and because of that he didn't get hit. You're already stuck in place for it feels like half a second maybe even an entire one.

To be fair, sometimes you cannot drop the Pallet despite mashing Space. I have the suspicion that if the Killer lunges their position at the end of the lunge is determined when deciding if the Killes is blocking the Pallet from being dropped or not.

    1. A Dev has tweeted about it being intended. (Tweet is now deleted)
    2. This would not have been the first undocumented change.
  • Mostly Indoor Maps. Rotten Fields might be as well, but this is usually free for Killer since the Map Reworks, so it might be boring, but he will not be "bad" on it in a sense that he will lose a lot of games on it.
