The timer is definitely bugged. Same thing happened to me twice yesterday after 30 seconds. My friend was trying to get the exit gate open and died to the entity as soon as the killer closed the hatch. Timer might look like it’s ran down for killers but not for survivors lol

Has the hotfix launched on your console yet? Check the news(in-game on main menu). It should read Hotfix 3.2.1. If not, it hasn't launched on PS4 yet.
Edited because I forgot something.
Yeah I got the update yesterday when it came out and the matchmaking is still pretty bad haha

This shouldn't be an issue anymore due to the latest hot fix.
It still is for us
-
Not one bit. It takes 45 minutes to load into a game with my friend and when we do get into a game, we get rank 20
-
Most fun: Nurse
least fun: Legion

@ArrowTheGreat11 Yesterday, the matchmaking was still bugged to high hell.
Today, as part of the hotfix, MM was changed and should no longer do that. Check out the patch notes for the full rundown.
Roger that. Thank you!

Was that after today's hotfix?
This was yesterday

Just stay broken and cleanse after all the gens have been powered. She’s literally useless as an M1 killer. If you go down, you go down. Better to go down from her swinging at you than for her to puke and knock you from 40 meters away
-
I tend to use my items as I get them. No idea how you guys can hoard so many items 😭

I stopped running prove thyself because it encourages you to work on the same gen as someone else. You really don't want to do that especially not at the beginning of a match. It's much harder for the killer if all survivors are working on separate gens. While it makes the gen go faster, if the killer comes across you while you're working on it he's now found multiple survivors instead of just one AND he's just stopped both of you from working on a gen. If you got four survivors all working on seperate gens, at least two if not three of those are going to pop if the first person he finds is any good at looping. And of course the scenario you just mentioned will not happen if you're all working separately.
This is why the offering for the killer to have all the survivors start the match separated is the dumbest offering in the game and why nobody ever uses it.
What I like to do in that situation is reveal myself to the killer so I can get into a chase (since I’m fairly good at looping) while my partner can continue working on the gen.

Show some love to bing bong boy
-
Iron Will. As a solo survivor, I’d rather just stay injured while working on a gen until someone comes around to heal me. Paired it with Inner Strength
-
Fixated with Poised though 👀
-
Good. Now I’ll know if I have to carry my team or if we’ll all play competent

I wish that was the case for me on PS4 as I am a night owl. Maybe you're getting all the stoners lol.
Where are you located?
-
I get the opposite lol and I’m on PS4. Daytime tunnelers and nighttime everyone is chill
-
Did you just sit there for 4 minutes and do nothing? What were your perks? No ruin, corrupt intervention, pop goes the weasel?

I am extremely bad when the killer mindgames at pallets. I can't see them and don't know what to do!
(if anyone has any tutorials on this pls help me)
Watch Puppers! He’s really good at looping. You should also watch killer gameplays to see what they’re thinking. All killers think the same so to be a good survivor, you gotta get into the mind of a killer

Yeah you can buy nancy for 500 auric cells. $5
Bless you

Does anyone know if we can purchase the survivors separately? I’m really only interested in Nancy lol

Meg and I used to run track together, so she’s my girl

But this is actually the case. Two Survivors on a single gen get it done way too quickly without factoring in items, Great Skill Checks or perks. Gens themselves need to change. The time reduction when multiple Survivors are on a gen needs to be decreased so the Killer has more time to actually play the game.
People seem to forget that the Killer is just another person who wants to play the game as well. Not a NPC who does not care if they are unable to actually do anything that requires time.
The devs are confirmed rank 20s, as shown by not_Queen's streams. They have a biased POV and balance the game around it as a result.
The counter to this is "They design the game, they don't have the time to play it!"
And to this I say "true". But BECAUSE they don't have the time to play the game, they need to reach out to people of all ranks for input. Not just pure white ranks.
Did you read what you just wrote? Why would gen times decrease when more than one person is working on the same gen? Gens are supposed to be faster when multiple people work on the same one. Hell, you would want everyone on one generator cause that means no one is working on the others
-
False. Jane is undoubtedly the quietest survivor
-
Ruin is good for setup. Not every survivor likes to sit there for 12 minutes hitting those skill checks, so they’ll leave the gen to find the totem. That gives you enough time to find at least one survivor and begin chase before a gen is popped. You can run Thrill of the Hunt or Haunted Ground if you want to protect the Ruin, or Corrupt Intervention to bring survivors closer to you
-
Crouching in the corner of the map when I’m hooked instead of coming to rescue me, despite the killer being nowhere near me
-
I do because rank 13 survivors have no idea what they’re doing, so I get to red ranks and realize those killers try way too hard. Every game they bring some sort of iridescent or purple add on. So I stay in purple ranks where it’s a competition but not a battle of try-hards lol

Well then..it was entirely the survivors fault losing to nurse..you have many second chance and free chase extender perks,.plus you can juke and use the tools on the map to evade omega blinks , it proves once and for all only bad players die to nurse then..I appreciate you confirming this for me
My counter was being gen-rushed, has nothing to do with how good a survivor or the Nurse is.
-
@immortalls96 said:
Well done..so I suppose if I showed a video showing gens getting done in five minutes or a gen getting complete in ten seconds I suppose the killer would be at fault for that too..I dont disagree over the addon changes however it annoys me when people make posts like this and yet every time a post is made about gens it's always the killers fault..its frankly extreme double standard
Gens popping quickly are entirely a killer’s fault. It’s called pressure. If you can’t get people off a gen (Ruin, hooking a teammate) then it’s going to be a quick game. There’s also perks that prevent gen-rushing, so there’s no excuses unless you’re bad lol

If it appears when they go into struggle then it will always be clear which Survivor has it.
2 people can't be hooked at the same time (in that the Killer can only carry one person at any given moment in order to put them on the hook), so the timing will always uniquely signify a specific Survivor.
The only time there is ambiguity is when both Survivors have the perk.
And I know how the perk works, but it is effectively just more time to go for the save in practice. You can spend that extra 5 seconds on a gen because the perk will stall when you go for the last second save.
Otherwise you might go early and miss the perk, or worse, not go at all because you don't think you would make it in time anyways and thus fail to save him when the perk would have meant you could.
You’re woke

I used The Game offering cause I wanted everyone to suffer

You have 6 Hillbillies but not surprising since his kill ratio on PS4 is highest among the Killers and one of the most played and is S tier for Killers on PS4.
I disagree. Spirit is the most overused killer on PS4. In one sitting, I played against a different Spirit at least 12 times in a row

Sure. Why don't I stand with my face in a corner and walk away from my computer while I'm at it?
That’s what I have to do when I have to lay there on the floor for 60 seconds

It makes me wonder: What does the playtime of the people talking in this thread look like? How many solo survivor mains vs SWF (and what kind of SWF? 4 man? 3 man? Duo?) players are in here? Killer mains? Even/odd mix? Rank distribution?
Me personally I play a bit of everything. Mostly duo survivor for the past year, but before that mostly killer and 4 man SWF. Definitely don't prefer playing solo survivor these days, but on the flip side I also find killer to be super stressful. It's something I want to play, but I burn out quickly on. It feels like the only killer that's not stress inducing for me all the time is Spirit. And that gets really, really boring.
Im a solo with over 100 hours, but I play duo whenever my friend doesn’t want to kill himself from playing this game 😂 killer can get stressful, I heard, just cause they cue up with a lot of 4 mans and they have to do everything perfectly if they wanna win. Spirit is tough for sure against any 4 man team

I feel that. Sometimes you just get a bad team. At that point you just gotta try your best to pip given the circumstances.
More like “all the time” lol

The penalty is they wasted 61 seconds chasing one survivor, meaning if all 4 survivors are alive, 3 gens should be at least 75% completed.
Not if you’re a solo survivor 😂

At that point, it just becomes an immunity perk.
Yeah, lemme just follow you around, knowing you can't pick me up until you go away for 60 whole seconds, which means I have 60 seconds where you cannot even be NEAR me before you can come pick me up again which means anyone in those 60 seconds can just come in and tap me, and I would STILL have time to come BACK with it still active to do it all again?
Yeah, no.
So instead, I can just loop you for 61 seconds and then you down me afterward and get no penalty toward it despite you still tunneling?
yeah, no
-
@artist said:
doesnt need changing. and having it deactivate because someone else gets hooked would make it useless. it's already up to the killer whether or not they get hit by ds, stop giving it more limitations
Fine as it is? Killers will just sit there and wait out the 60 seconds before they pick you up again. The timer needs to be stopped when a killer is in terror radius so they don’t slug

i rarely lose at Rotten Fields, and Azarov’s has so many pallets it’s insane. So those two

If you are on PC we can get into a kyf match and we can see if you can curve and get insta-downs around loops (:
PS4, so maybe it’s different lol

So basically you’re salty over insta-downs? Billy and LF still require skill to insta-down at loops, sorry that you don’t see that.
You act like you’ve insulted no one and are innocent while everyone is a triggered [Insert role here] main which is just not at all correct, I only became a killer main about a week ago and Pony has been a survivor main for awhile, I do play both sides though.
I disagree. I’m a survivor main and only play killer for daily rituals. Whenever I have to be Billy I can insta-down without any skill whatsoever XD
-
As a console survivor main, I’ve had a harder time against Spirit while Nurses are easy to loop. I think Spirit is the hardest killer on console, while Nurse is the hardest killer on PC
-
Just bring Spine Chill and Iron Will. Spine Chill activates when she’s phasing. Iron Will is her kryptonite cause she heavily relies on sound

Its nerfed on
T2 myers (if applicable)
ghostface
pig
wraith
freddy
Demogorgon (not a nerf, as they came with it, but still ineffective)
Wow even Freddy? Then it’s useless. Shame, cause it was in my main build too. Guess I’ll have to replace it with Inner Strength lol
-
Spine Chill never worked against T1 Myers anyway. It did against Ghostface, so it’s really just nerfed against GF lol
-
Gen rushing only exists in SWF. As a solo player who doesn’t have any friends, I can’t tell you how many games I’ve played where there’s still 5 gens left WITHOUT Ruin cause my teammates are actually mental....AT RED RANKS
