People do love to assume things on this game before it’s actually confirmed.
-
I will now go into hiding the rest of my life.

There was a bug with Nurse after Saw Chapter where she would wipe her blade and then go into fatigue after hitting a survivor.
Would close the gap between her and spirit, Hag, Billy quite a bit. I remember playing with the bug on Lerys. Was almost impossible.
I’d probably put her top of A ahead of everyone else, getting removed from S.

It’s more underpowered if anything. Cool idea nonetheless.

What if the title said “important” and the post said Nea isn’t ugly?
Then they would actually be lying this time.

Personally, I'd rather the act of escaping Bear Traps not be RNG-based at all.
Definitely agree.
-
Demogorgon gonna wrap his face around nea’s head.

@TAG said:
I think the whole Skill Check thing is simply going to decrease the average amount of time decent Survivors spend trapped in Bear Traps. For that, I'd rather there simply be a straight progress bar that fills steadily until freed, with Skill Checks (no Great Skill Checks) that reduce progress when failed. Basically, they operate like a Jigsaw Box only with no Great Skill Checks. That way, rather than Bear Traps either being escaped from too quickly or being nigh impossible to escape from by yourself, players can have a nice and consistent middle ground that is still good for Trapper but not super frustrating for Survivors (and can be adjusted as needed by devs and/or by add-ons).
That’s definitely fair! My mindset was allowing survivors a choice for low risk, low reward and high risk, high reward. I like your middle ground approach.

DbD is not a seriously competitive game. RNG mitigation is the last thing that needs to be focused on at this point.
This helps the trapper in general though? Why it’s called trapper rework lol. Just so happens that RNG hurts him quite a lot of the time.

1---You did not say what the Blackout effect was below lol
2---If the Honing Stone takes away the Great skill check then Survivors know it's the Honing Stone and they will go down if they get out so they just won't do the Skill Checks and wait to get saved. Unless you took out the instadown aspect, not sure why you' do that though.
This is really cool, I would love to see this as it makes Trapper more powerful but of course not too powerful as that's not possible with this type of Killer.
He has more traps and every 30 seconds he gets a new one in his bag so he doesn't have to waste a massive amount of time to go and get a trap across the map. This means he can place more traps down more frequently.
The Skill check thing is cool with the traps, Survivors have to work to get themselves out instead of it being a percentage chance which helps and hinders both parties. Realistically you are looking for the strength to pry open the jaws of the trap and pull out your foot, you're not just tugging at it repeatedly until you manage it; that hurts.
Oh damn I did forget lol. I’ll edit when I can.
-
If Hag got a rework, I would consider jumping off a bridge. But ultimately I’d end up back to my first main in the hands of wraith bell boi.
-
Something that could be implemented to your idea:
You get one ritual, daily. Within the ritual are 4 levels that start from easy to ending at insane. You are given 24 hours before the daily resets into the new one. You could then adjust the multiplier scores (my favorite part from your idea).

There actually was a time, of October of last year I belive, when something called the Leatherface mafia rose up and almost everyone on the forums was wearing a Leatherface pfp, good times
Well, October this year isn’t too far right now... (:

That's the idea ;)
Also combine with iron will for 100% totally silent healing.
I could see a lot of people running this at high rank. Especially when you expect killers like Billy, Nurse and Spirit.
-
Doesn’t seem like a whole lot, but killers who love to go back to hook would definitely be affected quite negatively.

I associate you as LF and Skario/Cardgrey as Wraith.

You as Leatherface of course! (:

How are each of the rituals distributed, difficulty wise? Do you have a choice of what difficulty you decide to do, or is it random each day?
-
Got y’all with one when I’m not sick and feeling better 🌡
-
Send one over this way my guy.
-
Any examples of what is considered an easy ritual compared to, let’s say insane? I want to get an idea of what the synergy is between the difficulties and blood points.
Also, do the rituals progress carry from game to game, like they do now? I think insane rituals could benefit from not carrying to increase the difficulty.
-
Here you go.
-
Hag forever and always. But I enjoy all killers, as is why I play them all.
-
It’s survivors and killers. A lot of people on this game are sadistic in quite honesty and that isn’t an overstatement. DBD has brought out the worst in certain people and it’s really a shame. I’ve gotten so many messages to go kill myself, that I’m trash, pathetic and have been called every name in the book. I’ve never have had an experience of a game quite like this. Recently, I’ve gotten a lot of messages that are horrible. And I’m on Xbox, so people go out of their way to tell me a bunch of #########. I never let this kind of ######### get to me, but damn is it a mood killer. It’s why I take a lot of breaks of this game.
-
Does it stack with Play With Your Food?
-
@Mushwin Man I’ve heard some good things about Lost. I just don’t know where to watch it.
-
Huntress, if combined with the 2 extra hatchets. Clown, if not.

What power does the killer have when loosing a perk. Sure you don't need hex perks to win, but something must be in a way gain by the killer when loosing a perk, even if is just minor. This curse I'm suggesting fits just that.
Glad you like it.
The killer has an actual power you know. That’s where the main “power role” comes from. They would also have other perks and their add ons. That and the player who’s actually playing the killer. Like I said before, there would be no reason for Totems to exist if they have a negative affect (to survivors) whether they cleanse it or not (The counter to Hexes would be to take a negative affect no matter the outcome. A pick your poison type deal). We talked about hexes being really strong for the most part. That’s why they have a chance to be taken away. I think it’s fair for both sides (as long as totem placement is also good). And if you were to nerf hexes and implement your idea, there wouldn’t be any reason to have them anymore (hexes) because they’d be too weak and the high risk, high reward factor would no longer be. Would become ‘semi high risk, low reward’.
And no, I don’t like your idea that’s why I’m disagreeing with it. No need to have that arrogant mentality with that last comment of yours.
-
I enjoy ‘The 100’ and feel like it’s underrated. I was late to the party on ‘Breaking Bad’ and just finished season 3. Phenomenal show. Nothing else though. I need to find something new soon.

Exactly, because as a Trapper you have to calculate every trap and make it worth your time to place it. You need to know survivors pathing, good trap spots, good trap hiding places etc. Hags just spam traps and spam "E", they camp all the time, spam 7 traps near the hook and still refuse to leave :D. I hate playing against Hags. I used to love playing as her but it's too easy. Trapper is much more satysfying killer if you can benefit from your traps.
Hag only becomes easier once you understand her. Understanding what she has to offer is the difficult part. You really have to venture and explore outside the box against the cream of the crop survivors. Freaking love hag.

May I remind you that killers are supposed to be the role of power. Killers won't be powerful if totem perks can just be deactivated just like that without any consequences. So which is why I add this effect.
What does the killer power role have anything to do with hex totems? Killers can be powerful without Hex Perks and thats a fact. You don’t need to rely on Hex perks.

@thesuicidefox Maybe one day you’ll put Hag in A tier that she rightfully deserves xD Good Tier List nonetheless, only minor things I’d switch.
-
@DoomOrb Then what’s the point of Hex totems being in the game? Survivors get punished if they cleanse or don’t. That doesn’t make any sense. Maybe your idea could be like a perk or add on, but no way should it be base kit.

I dont like that idea, at all. Dont get mad at a killer for using whats in the game. Should just make devour hope a casual perk while were at it.. Lets be real, if you are using a mori you are likely running noed.. i do, but i run noed and mori after particularly frustrating rounds lol
Can you explain why you don’t like it?
-
I just end up hanging my head in disappointment.
-
Farm maps every time I play Nurse. Seriously! every freaking time at rank 1. Usually Rotten fields, Thompson House or fractured cowshead. It’s unbelievably sick!
-

No, swf can all bring in engineers tool boxes with brand new parts or insta heal med kits, my ebony mori & noed is perfectly fair. Sorry, not sorry.
Did you even read what they proposed? Ebony mori stays the same and they grant bloodpoints to everyone. Plus no one depips... While everyone still has the chance to pip! And NOED wasn’t even mentioned??

So are mori offerings the only ones considered game changing, or are there others as well?
If a survivor DCs during the loading screen because they know it's going to be a waste of their time to play an already losing game, then that would be considered game changing. However, I don't think any other offering is as game changing as a mori because you still have a reasonable chance of winning with other offerings.
Can survivors vote if they want casual mode? Wondering just in case they want to attempt to rank up regardless of the Mori.
We could strike a balance with Casual Mode, @Masantonio and I talked about being able to pip when a mori is used, but not being able to de-pip in the case you get destroyed by one.
I feel like Mori would be used so often since the BP offering attachment. Do you think it would be good for the game? Would it kill Rank?
I feel it will have a positive effect on the game, and it could add the horror aspect back to Dead by Daylight! If you get downed for the second time, you might get scared in thinking you're dead, but the killer might go for more Bloodpoints and hook you. You just don't know!
I personally don't think it will kill rank, if we find a delicate balance on what the offering does to your rank. :)
Funny enough, killers don’t pip usually when they use a mori. It’s also unfair to survivors going up against an ebony mori. So this idea is very well thought out. Especially with the BP offering attachment. Only thing I’d suggest is allow the killer to pip if they mori on 3rd hook
-
Totem perks should stay as is. High risk (bringing them in, chance of losing it) high reward (powerful ability).
The survivor losing a second chance perk is definitely not a good idea since they have their downsides or can be countered. Losing their exhaustion perk? Just seems unfair IMO.
Action debuff after destroying a totem just doesn’t seem fair either. They shouldn’t get punished *like that* for doing their objective.
I also disagree with a totem rebuilding itself. If you bring in a Hex totem, you should live with the potential risks.
Just improve totem placement.
-
The game is really against you double pipping. 9+ plus hooks, 4K, Stall gens and good chases. Can’t have the chases be too short either unless you stall the game out a bit. That’s pretty much what’s required.
