Whats the point of running bodyblocking the killa when active, especially when you get downed again 3 seconds later ? Ive seen recently lot of them as killer and surv and its really boring
If someone body-blocks with BT that means they're ready to get back into the match and can't complain about being tunnelled. If you can't get past them easy enough to smack the unhooker, just count to 15 and put them on the ground once BT runs out. You don't even have to count - you'll usually see them panic at the end of the timer. It's actually pretty funny :)

You get cakes too. You could hoard more cakes if you just would burn cakes. Remember, it takes money to make money.
Instead, I saw this during the whole event:
- Very often no event cake
- Rarely a event cake
- Too often for this event, a mori instead of an event cake
Fellow killers, why are you like that?
There are 5 players in a game. Each of them is as likely to burn a cake as everyone else, regardless of whether they're the killer, or not.
The most common reason for people not burning cakes is the fact that they're playing their "main" whilst levelling up another character, hence all the cakes are on the other character.

Honestly, I'd be happy if it got deleted.

start the match, start looking for a survivor, you spot one at best after 20 seconds (3 gens are 25% completed). You chase for at least 40 seconds, and I'm being gentle considering exhaustion perks, chained loops, getting BHVR'd and so on, (3 gens are 75% completed). Let's say that hooking doesn't takes you time, you see 3 survivors with BBQ, and:
- head towards one, (15 seconds), 2 gens get completed, you're able to interrupt the survivor, chase him and maybe pop the gen. One survivor finish the 65%ish gen, while the other goes for the save. Now, 2 gens left, only one hook.
- decide to camp that one survivor. 3 gens get completed. Survivors can just complete the other 2 gens, while the hooked one goes into second state (since you have a mori, it doesn't really matter), maybe try for a save at the endgame, with bt and/or adrenaline.
it's mathematically impossible for a killer to win, if this lucky occurrence happens it's because most survivors are trash.
Man, if you're really struggling that much maybe you should practice a bit more.
Just to go over your scenario there: survivors usually spawn in 3 different configurations (unless you burn a shroud, which you really shouldn't do): all 4 together, 3 and 1 or 2 and 2. In the 3 and 1 scenario, 1 of the survivors will be on your side of the map (this usually happens in the dog-bone-shaped autohaven map and the similarly shaped mcmillian's map). In all of these scenarios you should be able to interrupt the first gen before it's 75% done. If you
struggle to do that try using whispers - it helps tremendously with early game pressure.Once you reach the gen that survivors were working on, you should have an idea of how many were there based on it's progress - try to pressure as many of them as you can (if there were 3 survivors, try to injure 2, find and chase down the 3rd; if there were 2, injure one and chase down the second; if it were 1, chase them down).
At this point there are too many scenarios to go over, but in general if a gen gets popped during your first chase (provided you didn't potato massively taking ages to get them) that means that there's no progress on other gens, so you're fine. If no gens pop, you should be a little more worried and expect at least two gens to be worked on, so try to pressure at least one of them. At that point just snowball as much as you can.
The best advice I can give you is try to look at the big picture when playing killer - get an idea of what each survivor is most likely to be doing at any point and try to interrupt them based on what you know. Don't just mindlessly chase the first survivor you see and tunnel them down until you get them. In some scenarios a slug is better than a hook (you see another survivor in an unsafe position) and an injury is better than a down (survivor you're chasing will make it to a safe zone before you can get to them). It's really not that hard once you've had a little practice.

you're saving a lot of time, that's for sure, but again, the first chase is always the longest, and after that you still down again the person. You're talking like in the mean time gens are magically blocked and time is stopped.
if you close the hatch survivor ratting for the escape are dead. with the key you can re-open it.
Or.. Picture this. You use the mori without going out of your way to tunnel people off hook. That means you still get to apply pressure, cut the game by 2/3rds and guarantee yourself a 4k (3k if you give the Las guy a chance to find hatch, which is your choice). Don't pretend that you actually have to make any effort to achieve this. If you can't get 6 downs in a game, you have other problems

As someone who isn’t a god-looper or a super skilled Survivor, mentioning “mind game” in the same sentence as Spirit is reasonable to me. Everyone differs, I hope you can understand that.
I accept that you personally feel like you got mindgamed when you got caught out by a spirit. However, think about this - while youre at a tile (be it a jungle gym/window tile/shack/whatever) - to mindgame you a player would have to actually think about how to get to you. For example they might try to hide their red light and walk backwards to cover distance whilst you still don't know where they are, or fake going one way and then go the other. To me that's a mindgame. Now think about spirit/deathslinger:
- Spirit - all you need to do is stand still for 2 seconds to see how a player reacts. If they stand still as well, phase to where they are. If they run away, phase and follow them. If they run towards you, don't phase and just smack them. In each of these scenarios the spirit holds all the information and the survivor holds none, as they don't know when the spirit actually starts phasing.
- Deathslinger - assume you're being chased and have made distance, but are not at a tile yet. All the deathslinger needs to do is "fake" their power a couple of times (just aim down the sights) and observe what the survivors does. If they tried to dodge, you're making up the distance, so you can just shoot (based on their dodge pattern) or catch up whilst they lose distance trying to dodge. If they don't try to dodge, just shoot straight and you're guaranteed to catch them. In either scenario, the deathslinger holds all of the information and again, the survivor holds none - they just have to guess when the Deathslinger is actually going to shoot.
Both killers can be defeated, but in an actual chase (which to me at least is the fun part of playing survivor), they'll catch you without actually having to outplay you. That's my issue with both killers. It's not that they're strong - it's the fact that you're not actually playing against them, you're just guessing.
-
On one hand that feels like something that would make it just as boring for the killer as it is for the survivor.
On the other hand, short of a complete overhaul (think freddy) I don't have an idea of how to make her power interactive, so that both sides may actually feel like they're playing a real pvp game.
That said, your suggestion is better than anything i can think of so i'd support it, based on a feeling that it'd mean less people will play spirit, so you'd have to deal with her less frequently
-
billy's power didn't have to nerfed. Spirit on the other hand - along with deathslinger she's the most boring thing to play as/against (at least in my opinion). It's not that either of them are too strong - they're just mind-numbingly uninterractive. That said, I'd be really happy if i saw them a lot less frequently.
Also, putting the word "mindgame" in the same sentence as "spirit"/"deathslinger" is laughable
-
Pig is my main and I don't think she needs a buff. She's currently both really strong and fun to play.
One thing I wouldn't mind is some more fun addons that change up her playstyle without giving her a straight up buff. Currently I don't use addons, as I don't really need them and have 100s stacked up. Any incentive to actually use them up would be nice.
-
2 gens finished and 4k as trapper? If anything it shows that gens are too slow.
I'd suggest trying to think for yourself instead of drinking up popular streamers' gospel, but sheep will be sheep I guess
-
i was arguing that with someone else recently.
Second chances, i.e. exhaust perks allow survivors to avoid a hit and get to a safe zone (i.e. indirectly grant survivors a health state)
Insta-down perks allow killers to prevent survivors from taking a hit and getting to a safe zone (i.e. rob survivors from a health state)
They are equivalent for each role, if someone thinks that one is unfair, they should accept that the other must be unfair too and vice versa.
Personally I don't have an issue with either.
-
You know that this is not the only platform for feedback right?
-
and you have 0 brain abt grammar
-
it counters stuff like sloppy butcher, clourophobia, thanathophobia, dying light, so it's pretty good if you can utilise it in games where the killer runs a bunch of slowdowns. That said, I think it's a pretty fun minigame trying to stack it up to maximum, which is why I run it quite often

"Playing well". Oni will barely ever pip, and if you snowball and kill all 4 survivors and don't pip, it's the ranking system that screws you over. The only way to pip as Oni is to do "man with katana". Same with every other ranged attack or one hit down killer.
Absolutely not true.. I guess you're generalising based on your own experience, but that's not a way to build an argument.

Im just trying to figure out why you cant comprehend that ranking something in a school grade mechanic that they can all be in the same rank without losing meaning. I figured i got my answer when you said all A grade students aren't A grade students because they got the same grade, i mean thats just not how it works ive been in classes where everyone got A's and they were some of the smartest kids but whatever man good luck turning great averages into nothing.

Yep, but nobody is talking about playing well or not, I'm playing about geting 23k points, killing them all and not getting a pip.
It is just bc Im curious, as I said rank is not important at all for me, I prefer to farm points and prestige my chars.
If you don't care about it, then why make a thread about it?
In the game's terms pipping means you played well, double pipping means you played really well. The fact that someone got a 4k, doesn't necessarily mean that they played well, thus a 4k doesn't guarantee a pip.

how do they not possess the same knowledge on the subjects if they all passed the test. How are they not all A students if they all studied their books and payed attention to the teachings? And what about the lord of the rings example does that mean all the lord of rings aren't A if i put them all in A and if they aren't A what are they?
I explained it 2 or 3 times already.. I don't know how else to say it. You can give all LOTR movies an A grade, because other films exist, i.e. in your view they're among highest quality films as compared to other movies that you rated at B,C,D, E, etc. In isolation (LOTR are the only films ever made) giving all of them an A means nothing, because there's nothing at tier B, C, D etc to compare them to. All it means is that they're all the same quality, but it gives you no indication of whether they're actually good or bad - i.e. you could rate them at C with the same effect.
-
4k - ing doesn't mean that you played well, same as way as escaping doesn't mean you played well.

so with your logic if every school in america averages an A in all their highschool classes there are no A grade students because there are no B,C,D,F students?Or what if someone said rank the lord of the rings movies and i put them all in A rank, with your logic that means that none of the movies area A rank and that just doesn't make any sense just because you dont have anything bad in a rank doesn't mean you cant have all good.
for the most part, yes, exactly. In your example, if everyone got graded with an A, then the system failed to measure people's actual skill. Even though everyone got an A, they don't all possess the same knowledge and thus the test did not reveal people's actual ranking among their peers, making the A that they got meaningless.

Yes, it is very important that everyone opens one of those. Because, their Matchmaking-Thread is more important than anything else!
Even tho, I dont think that this is a real Rank 16, when looking at the Perks. Dont have much sympathy for Smurfs/Derankers who complain about Matchmaking when they get Survivors who are at the Rank where the Smurf would belong as well.
Seems about right - 4 teachables (2 paid dlc) at tier 3 on a new killer at rank 16? Good thing de-rankers don't get matched up against brand new players anymore (one good thing about bad matchmaking) @PodgeNotRodge

I remember reading somewhere that MMR is actually already implemented. Ranks are still visible, but not used for anything.

It'd be interesting to see number of hooks vs number of dead survivors per match:
e.g. 4 hooks, 3 deaths; 10 hooks, 2 deaths; etc. etc.

The flaw with that is that the rank system he uses is to judge a certain criteria. Whether that is 4king or 2 pips, idk, but he is judging on a subjective criteria.
And, if all killers were just as good as each other in the right hands, then most of the complaints about balance might go away.
I was pointing out a mistake in his logic. It wasn't about balance or killers being strong or weak - I don't care about that stuff
-
That's just how ranking works. You have to be ranked somewhere based on your standing against your competition. If everyone is at the same level, then there's nothing to rank.

Here is a video starting from when I first hooked the Feng. You’ll see that I have one BBQ stack already, and that’s from Yui. I left that hook immediately, so she couldn’t have contributed to my Chaser penalty. This was uploaded straight from my PS4, so the quality isn’t the best.

Seems like you guys are just looking at my rank and ignoring everything else. My rank isn’t the point here. Who cares about that here? My problem is that the Emblem system is crappy and punishes me for not giving Survivors second chances. I didn’t expect any extra rewards, but I shouldn’t have been punished either. Would you have brought up my rank if I had been at purple, green, or even yellow ranks?
first of all, you didn't get punished, you just didnt get rewarded. Second of all, I'll say it again - you chose not to chase, so you didn't get rewarded for chasing. It's not about giving second chances, it's about playing a match in it's entirety. As you chose to end the match early, you didn't demonstrate your ability to chase and therefore had a bad chaser emblem. Honestly, it's not rocket science. You don't have to be that smart to understand this.
-
as someone else said, you're still rank 1.
That said, you chose not to chase, so you didn't get rewarded for chasing. Pretty straightforward

Man that haunted ground, rancor meta. Killers use those insta-down perks in every game for a reason....oh wait they don't because they're not even as close to reliable as pressing E or Spacebar if 60 seconds haven't passed.
NOED is almost in full control of survivors, if nobody wants to equip small game or take a map with them then that's on them and it's the only perk of the ones that you mentioned that will frequently spiral out of control.
Haunted grounds giving you more than 3 hooks is basically a youtube worthy highlight.
Killers are basically currently playing with what the equivalent of a restricted survivor perkloadout would be where you'd at most get one second chance perk.
At the end of the day it's your choice to run what you want to run. Just like you won't always be able to capitalise on haunted ground, a survivor is not always have the opportunity to dead hard for distance, in which case they'll use it as a last resort to dodge a hit, which we all know never works against any killer who's played more than 3 matches.
With that said, you actually missed the point I made - exhaustion perks and insta-down perks are opposite equivalents. One allows survivors to get to safety without taking a hit and the other allows killers to stop survivors from getting to safety after taking a hit. If you argue that one is too powerful or unfair, you should also accept that the other is as well.

Uh... Maybe? That's some real toxicity in there... Because of them i barely stayed in the +0 safe pip zone, thanks to the fact i only did 4 hooks, and almost 0 chase... Only iridescent was for protecting gens...
Everything else aside, why do emblems even matter to you? They're not used for matchmaking anymore (since the MMR system) - rank is literally just a number that means absolutely nothing. Even more so now than ever before - in a few months you won't even be able to see it anymore, since the whole thing is getting scrapped.
-
DH (just like any other exhaust perk) grants a survivor the ability to make it to a safe zone which they couldn't have reached otherwise - it's sort of the equivalent to insta-down killer perks such as haunted ground, noed, rancor, etc etc, which in turn rob the survivor of an opportunity to take a hit and make it to a safe zone.
If exhaust perks that grant survivors the ability to reach safety are too powerful, then their killer counterpart (instadown perks) are also too powerful. Personally I don't see an issue with either.
-
People do "challenges" like this. They'll hide all game and the last one to get caught wins. I've seen popular streamers do it. I bet those 3 were in a swf and were playing that sort of game between themselves. Too bad for you and the other guy who wanted to actually play the game.

And you are entitled to your opinion. However, you are completely ignoring something else: comparing the two is not the basis for which one you would rather play. For example, I hate billy. I despise billy. Billy is an overused madman with an overappreciated power. However, he is stronger than Oni simply because you cannot wait out Billy's chainsaw. At least, you couldn't before. And the two can be directly compared because they have essentially the same playstyle. Even their looping is similar, just with different details.
Like it or not, similar subjects invite discussion and comparison. Why? Because it is not, in fact, pointless, and nor is it "ridiculous". They are objectively similar subjects, and please do remember that "similar" and "identical" are not the same term. You even contradicted yourself - You said that Huntess and Deathslinger are ranged killers, yet they play completely differently. They are both ranged killers, their power revolves around hitting survivors at range. That there is an instant similarity in playstyle, and an enormous one at that. Now, if you are comparing Huntress and Oni, well, they clearly have nothing in common except basic killer abilities. Their powers share no overlap whatsoever, either in playstyle or ability. Since they share no common ground, direct comparison is difficult bordering on worthless.
Being dismissive of people because of your personal opinion on the "fun" of a topic is extremely arrogant. After all, instead of scrolling past and completely forgetting this post, you felt the need to express your opinion about it's worth.
Your first point is that billy is stronger. That is not an objective statement, it is just an opinion (just like the one you called out on my part) - he may be stronger than oni in your hands, however a lot of other people's oni is stronger than your billy and yet other people's billy is stronger than those people's oni and so on and so forth. The statement that the killers have the same/similar playstyle is also incorrect. The fact of the matter is that a lot of people try to play them the same way (to varying degrees of success). That however has no bearing on the killers and their powers, but rather the people using them. This might surprise you, but there are also a lot of people who have a unique playstyle with these two killers which is different from yours.
Regarding your second paragraph. You're twisting my words a bit. Similar subjects do invite comparison, but that comparison is indeed pointless and ridiculous if it is based on fundamentals which are in fact, not similar - what op did and you're trying to replicate.
Specifically regarding the "contradiction" in what I said - the only people who would say that huntress and deathslinger are similar (or oni and billy for that matter) are the ones that fail to see beyond the fact that they have a ranged mechanic and fail to see what's how each power is unique and invites a different playstyle from the user. These people will try to play the killers the same way and once they find more success with one, they'll convince themselves that one does the same things as the other, but better. That's because THEY tried to do the same things with them and THEY had more success with one. Nothing wrong with that - everyone is free to play how they want, however they can't reasonably expect to post about it in the forum and not get dismissed by others who like to use a killer's power for what it is and don't try to force it into what it's not.
About me being arrogant.. perhaps I do come off a bit arrogant. I don't mind it. If it helps at least one person think about how ridiculous those comparisons sound, then I've done what I came here to do.

>If OP determines fun on this basis, then he has a clear cut choice between the two killers and it's an easy swap, so he has no reason to complain.
I'm not talking about "fun" in this post, because it's subjective. Some people love playing new nurse for example and I am sure New Billy will find his fans too, anyway that's not the point of the post. I'm talking about other things.
>That said I still maintain the point that the 'this killer is the same as that, but (insert random point)' are fundamentally ridiculous. Both oni and Billy can run around the map and have an insta-down - that's pretty much where their similarities end. There actual powers have different conditions to activate and play very differently during a chase. They have absolutely separate aesthetic and gameplay loop.
Ehm, no. Firstly, that kind of point is not ridiculous. We are talking about PvP game and comparing things in PvP games makes perfect sense. Secondly, I am not talking about aesthetic or how their gameplay feels. I am talking about what these killers are capable to do at best and how Oni surpasses billy in practically everything, thus making his rework a huge mistake.
>Same goes for huntress and Deathslinger.. The only similarity between the two is that they can attack survivors from a range. Mechanically they play completely differently and in a chase they behave completely differently.
No, not the same. Deathslinger and Huntress are a PERFECT example of what similar killers should be. None of them is better than another in EVERYTHING. Huntress has unlimited range of attack, but longer wind-up, Deathslinger is limited by distance, but can shoot almost instantly, Huntress needs to quit chases to reload, Deathslinger reloads midchase, Huntress can directly damage survivor with hatched, Deathslinger needs to reel them closer and so on. Same applies to Ghostface and Myers. As for Billy&Oni, one is able to gain his power insanely quick, is not limited by cooldowns, can snowball and shutdown loops and the other one is Billy. Whan can Billy do that Oni can't? Use his power from the start of the match? That's it, because after 60 seconds of the game Hillbilly becomes a worse version of Oni, as Oni can farm his power through jiggling survivors and uptime of it pretty low.
>That's why I'm dismissive of anyone who tries to make a point like OP. It's just not worth a discussion
Not it is certainly worth a discussion, because situations like this, when one killer's power is a WORSE version of the power of other killer, are simply unacceptable. ESPECIALLY when the "worse" killer is a free killer and "better" killer is locked behind paywall/grind.
Am I seriously going into this argument?
First point - fair enough. Keep in mind I was replying to someone else, not you.
Second point - If gameplay and mechanics are not your point, then why are you comparing oni and Billy specifically? Might as well compare any killer with Nurse, who surpasses any other killer. To your point that oni is better than billy at everything - here are a few axamples:
Can oni get to the other side of the map and interrupt multiple Survivors before they can complete even 10%of their first gen? No.
Can oni insta down his first survivor? No.
Can oni insta down survivors at all times during a game? No.
Can oni hook someone and immediately get to the next survivor across the map before they can hide/or get to a strong tile? No.
I could go on, but you get the point.
Third point: you're comparing apples with oranges. I. E. You're trying to do a like for like comparison for things that are fundamentally different, based on a single similarity. I could do the same and say that clown is a worse freddy, or that plague is a better Deathslinger, but we all know there is a lot more to freddy and clown to being able to slow down survivors and to plague and Deathslinger than being able to attack survivors from a long range.
Fourth point: most killers are not available in the base game. If you play enough to argue and claim to understand changes to killers, you've played enough to have enough shards for a dlc killer

Okay, so, let's do the maths here. 40 second sof exhaustion, recovering... Let's be generous, let's say 5 seconds of not holding shift at every single loop they get to. That's about 8 loops. Let's say that they manage to play each loop for about 20 seconds, including the 5-second downtime, and it takes them 10 seconds to reach the next loop. That's 8(20+10)=240 second's, or a 4 minute cooldown til they can use SB again. Which is being very generous.
Wait, hang on, I messed up. 40 seconds doesn't fit into 20 seconds, which is usually how long it takes to get into melee range of a hacker, since they tend to suck so bad.
Did you actually assume I meant recovering exhaustion whilst running in circles around a pallet? A good survivor who actually manages their exhaustion does not lead chases like this. They use the tiles available to them, use LoS to make distance and recover exhaustion

Fun is subjective, and if there are 2 killers with a similar playstyle that someone enjoys, it's logical that they would like to compare them to see who is better. It's like the Huntress/Deathslinger comparisons: at the end of they day, they are similar killers with similar powers and people naturally compare the two to see what their respective advantages and disadvantages are. It just, in this case, people are struggling to find PTB billy's advantages.
If OP determines fun on this basis, then he has a clear cut choice between the two killers and it's an easy swap, so he has no reason to complain.
That said I still maintain the point that the 'this killer is the same as that, but (insert random point)' are fundamentally ridiculous. That feeling when someone uses SB twice in one chase.
That's actually quite possible. If you get the chase to last long enough and let go of your sprint key when you don't need to sprint, it's actually not hard to recover 40 seconds of exhaustion during a single chase

I had a rank 2 survivor last night trying to escape with active trap on. I just stared him from a distance opening the door and waiting for his head to pop. And I'm not good at this game but still I'm red on both sides.
case and point..

I love people trying to do a like - for - like comparison between killers in this game. Did you ever think that people like to play them because they enjoy using their power; like the gameplay; enjoy the aesthetic? Not everything is about finding the killer that can net you a guaranteed 4k with the optimal perks, power and playstyle
Seriously, I struggle to understand how people who think like this manage to even enjoy the game. I'd be bored out of my mind if i had this mindset going into a match.
That's the survivor equivalent of playing ace as opposed to jeff, because he can do everything jeff can do, but better - he's quieter, shorter and his character model is slimmer, so he's obviously more stealthy, i.e. the superior survivor!! Why do we even have jeff in this game, since he's obviously weaker than other survivors??

just play the new killer(s). You can't expect to win every game with a killer you haven't even tried. The "but my pips" argument is ridiculous. Being rank 1 is not prestigious and does not mean you're any good. The only thing it does mean is that you play the game a few hours every month.

no.. and why would you even expect this to be possible?

360's can be a pain sometimes usually I'll stop and wait while their spinning to line up a hit. I usually only have trouble when playing killers like Spirit who have short Lunges.
Every killer (aside from T1 and T3 Myers) has the exact same lunge. Some might look shorter (spirit) or longer (freddy), but that's just the animation. The actual hitbox is identical.

This is disgusting.

so basically a selectable option to wait in a queue for 25 minuties, because people like to play with their friends? Sure, go ahead.

People are so sensitive these days. Hope you and your friend find peace. Maybe try a single player game, or something played only by adults.. mahjong maybe?

My least favourite maps in that order:
- The new map - looks great, extremely boring in terms of gameplay both as survivor and killer
- Hawkins - looks decent, really boring gameplay for both roles
- Lery's - looks decent, really boring gameplay
- Deathslinger map - decent as survivor, terrible for killer if survivors decide to play immersed
- The game - really boring for both survivor and killer - a bunch of safe pallets everywhere and only a couple of "fun" tiles. Really safe in the early game and deadly in the late game once the pallets are gone
- Yamaoka maps - extremely boring for killer if survivors decide to play immersed

Well I don’t think the “fun” factor is going anywhere with Billy. For reference, I do play a heck a lot of Billy, you’re only going to see an issue with overheat mechanic when you rev your chainsaw completely around a loop, if you look at Bubba’s overheat, it’s actually a pretty long time, and don’t forget addons are in place to dull the mechanic.
I understand that people think Billy is fun because a) you can just sprint around the map in laps and b) you can just curve around obstacles really easily.
A) Sprinting isn’t interrupted which means if you’re semi-good at Billy there won’t be an issue there.
B) Curving isn’t going to be as bad as everyone says it is- when I curve I don’t do the whole rev my chainsaw and go back and forth trying to mindgame because I think that’s a waste of time, maybe that’s just me though, you might be able to cheese a hit once or twice if the survivor allows it. This does not mention the new addons for Billy to curve with, it looks like those addons are getting buffed (hopefully they reduce the hefty stun of the moonshine).
In this post you mostly talk about strength and ability to do stuff - that wasn't my point. He will still be strong and he will still be able to use his chainsaw around loops and jungle gyms (i think). I have no issue with that.
I'll give you a personal example: currently when playing billy my chainsaw is out maybe 90% of the time - be it around loops, trying to get a survivor from 10-20 m away, or just zooming around the map. It's just a really fun power to use regardless of whether playing like I do extends or shortens a chase (it goes both ways). With the change it feels like I'll be on cooldown most of the time which will sap all of the fun from playing that killer. I won't lie, some of the addons do look interesting, but in the past I've never had to use addons to enjoy the killer.
