bro u just posted cringe
-
Very happy. Ruin/Undying is boring af.
-
Freddy I hope gets a Dream Snare change to make it actually take some skill in using it. Spamming them everywhere with no downside is a bit mindless as it is right now. I hope his gen slowdown addons get changed too, there's no creativity or fun about them.
Demo I hope just gets some nice tweaks here and there, and better addons. Don't want him changed much.
Huntress just needs some addon changes.
-
Kind of ruins the whole match.
(Usually) makes it too easy for the killer, and it's just really, really unfair on the survivors.
There are things that I understand people suiciding over... but I won't go over them 👀
-
I think she looks great.
-
This perk is on their rework radar 100%. The least used perks always are.
They just kinda... take a while for these things.
Take OoO for example, that's been the same for 4+ years lmao.
-
Who cares, it's not the old OoO.
-
Oh my god finally OoO is getting changed.
It only took 4 years boys, woooo!

And again, the simplicity of your request would matter at all if I was talking about 'difficulty to implement' and not 'effect on the map pool.'
Yes, adding a map would be a trivial effort. I don't think it SHOULD happen. It absolutely CAN happen. BL is meant to be a risky map dependent perk. Sometimes it coming up a dud is important because other times it absolutely trashes, and on most maps it does something.
You shouldn't have a dud perk just 'cause the map you land. Like I don't even get the argument. 'Oops no Enduring for you, you landed Wretched Shop'.
No one's arguing Haddonfield is a fun balanced map, that's just a separate issue entirely.

Right but that is an incoherent response because my argument wasn't 'it would be too hard to rework.' It is 'It should NOT be reworked.'
I like a map that exists to tell a 4 stack balanced landing group who got black warded after trying to send me to Lampkin Lane to go to hell, personally.
Killers have to deal with their perks and, worse, powers, potentially not being helpful map to map. Survivors have more control over the map, arguably the consequences of not getting a good map should be worse. And that map pool generally has some pretty good drop options, so having a 'dud' in the pool for a BL strategy feels important to prevent it from people rolling it after Lampkin hopefully gets obliterated.
The map definitely could use a bit more because the pool isn't so strong that it needs a 'You might just lose sending killer here' like say... Farm does, but I think it being very flat helps keep the pool balanced.
That's a ridiculously specific example for what is really a very simple request.

They should/could add a huge treehouse on the tree in the middle allowing for some interesting Balanced Landing plays. Also... It would make the map look more... Interesting.

Yeah I was thinking they could do something with that middle tree, map doesn't really have any unique structures.
-
Legit how have they not done this yet though.

yet the new animations are more broken than the old ones, the grass and ground textures now look unfinished, and they are doing this instead of addressing the same gameplay issues that have been in place since day one... It just seems like they are doing this revamp as a coat of paint over rotted wood that needs to be gutted anyway... to the detriment of literally everyone
Hahahaha, that's a hell of a way to put it.

I've been playing dbd since release, so its not like I dont understand wanting to mix things up, but if its clearly hated this much why not make it optional? This is kinda my point exactly, the only reason anyone seems to have is "eh, why not I guess?". And thats like it
I mean who knows what we're getting, it's all subject to change.
I feel like this is part of a larger thing they're trying to do for DBD, with them revamping all the old maps with new graphics - is basically trying to give the whole game a facelift.
-
Legitimately the best reason to change the HUD that I can think of is just for a refreshing change, or I guess a new look the devs want to go for.
DBD's had the same HUD for its entire existence.

That every killer should be top tier.
-
Watched someone play the beta (or alpha idk) on Youtube as killer and was like 'I have literally never seen a game like this ever, this looks kinda cool'. Then bought it near launch when there were just 3 killers.
Fast forward to now and I'm an idiot approaching 3k hours. Tragic story.
-
Reduce Thrilling Tremors CD to like 30 seconds.
-
I rarely use any exhaustion perk as surv (apart from Head On), as I feel like they teach bad habits.
Dead Hard specifically I feel like just gives you 1 free mistake, OR just doesn't work and you're exhausted on the ground. Either way I don't like relying on it.
-
Ye seen this both as surv and killer.
Pretty sure it's a server thing, when they just hit the edge of a cloud.
-
One of the rare maps that's actually in the killer's favour, as it's incredibly small and has numerous unsafe pallets.
Just spend less time wall-kickin' I suppose.
-
bEcaUsE TheY caN'T loOp hEr lOL
Her phasing gives almost no feedback to survivors when they're in her TR, so instead of being a back-and-forth between the killer and survivor, it's really just a game of 'how well can the Spirit listen to you with Stridor'.
'If you know how to play against her you won't have a lot of problems' really doesn't apply when a Spirit's half-decent. She's kind of like Nurse where if the player controlling them really knows what they're doing, they have full control in chases. Except Spirit takes less learning.
-
Very little warning with his smaller TR + M&A (which every Deathslinger runs). Compare to Huntress where she has a huge 40m lullaby.
And his insta ADS means counterplay is extremely minimal. Compare to Huntress where she has a windup time + noise for the survivor to have some feedback and warning to dodge.

what do u mean it doesn't work!? i been trying this for two days. oh my god man i was wasting add-ons cause of this. why dont the devs do something about this?
The devs aren't known for quick fixes, sorry man.
I can't progress through the Rift either rn because of this.
-
ALMOST.
For me it's when I'm just running around as killer minding my own business, and out of ######### nowhere someone drops a pallet in my face. I swear nothing in this game jumpscares me more.
-
The Rift challenge?
It's completely bugged - doesn't work.

Does that thing even actually work? I've tried it many times and charged up his pounce 20 meters away from my target survivors to silence his noises, but they always run off before I get close enough to jump em as if it wasn't silencing him at all.
I mean he still makes plenty of noise just running around, plus there's a global notification when Charlotte releases Victor.
-
Don't click it, something bad might happen.
-
It's alright. Can be nice knowing where someone is so you don't have to stay around the hook. Like others have said it's mainly really good on high mobility killers.
I run it on everyone for the bps.
-
Smh, no they don't.
-
No Mither might be the only perk in the game to actively hinder you, it's so trash. And yeah it should definitely have full Iron Will built in.
But I guess killers have speed limiters, it's not the end of the world to have 'challenge' type perks + addons.

It doesn't work like that and you know. Too many exploits being defended lately
He does get slowed and have an attack cooldown when he plants his knife, it's just not long at all. Barely affects him.
-
He doesn't feel perfect, but I feel like he's pretty balanced overall.
-
It might actually be related to Oni's camera bug. When he downs someone with his power, his camera immediately flicks to a random different angle - making it look completely wrong.
Other than that, probs latency.
-
This probably isn't the answer you were looking for, but honestly the perk loadouts idea. Having the ability to save perk loadouts and just choose between them.
Changing all 4 perks is so slow and sluggish, and always has been.

A killer that commands an ally or a pet that can be a threat on the map at the same time as they are.
The Twins must have been a real let-down for you.
-
Hm. I wasn't around for PH at launch, but I'm surprised at these changes. Because as it stands it's still the right play to fake your power a lot, I don't feel prevented from doing that.
Would increasing the 'Further attacks cannot be made for 1 second' even more, but reverting the slowdown be an ideal change? Would be much less sluggish leaving his trails around the map.
-
You'll be a toxic killer main in no time 😈

I dunno about full on rework. Make rat liver base kit, make it a little easier to shred maybe, and faster portal traversal. He also should be quieter.
Most importantly, he needs a Christmas sweater and fluffy slippers.
Demo would be overpowered as hell with a Christmas sweater.
-
I always thought the transformation idea would be great for a werewolf-type killer. Transforms into beast mode and runs around fast on all fours or some #########.
My personal dream power would be to bing a bell and be invisible.
Wait...
-
Yikes.
-
Nurse's + Sloppy is definitely a great combo for playing him in a hit-and-run playstyle.
As his power lacks chase, you could also go the route of using chase enhancing perks such as Enduring, Brutal Strength and Spirit Fury.
Exposed perks work great as he excels in getting ambush first hits where other killers wouldn't - like MYC and Dragon's Grip.
PGTW is always good, and Surge is great if you want a gen regress perk that doesn't make you go out of your way.
BBQ and Thrilling Tremors work great for tracking.
So many perks work great on Bing Bong :)
-
Long story short: fun is subjective.
-
no, he's the best because he go stabstabstabstabstab
-
Slugged for ages for the 4k as Spirit when the last 2 survivors were alive, all because of the dumb ass '4k as Spirit' Rift challenge.
Felt like such a scumbag.
-
Personally, I despise her playstyle.
Chasing's my favourite part of the game, almost every killer has different variations of chases that require back-and-forth moves and mindgames between the killer and survivor, and running all the different tiles in different ways.
Hag doesn't bother with any of this, in fact it feels like she avoids chases entirely. It's just trap every loop, survivor runs into it, spam CTRL, get free hit. Woo.
-
Some of me favs <3
(Legion's looks way better in-game, very bright luminescent)
