Yes, let's just nerf tunneling. Again. Because Survivors can't win without massive hand holding.
I mean, Survivors already malded over tunneling & got basekit BT. Which they abuse with bodyblocking, then mald some more about being trunneled.
Then they cried over camping & got a camping timer.
They screamed over '3 genning' (Their own fault, btw), and now Killers have limited gen kicks.
What's next? Weeping over being slugged and demanding basekit Unbreakable?
Malding over the Killer closing hatch & demanding basekit Key powers?
Why not just remove the Killer's ability to play. Make all Killers a bot. That would make Survivors happy.
No, wait; Then they could not trash talk the Killer upon winning with all their BS hand holding.
now you know the key.
survivor don't know how to save the hook, don't know not fix been 3 gen. The mistakes of the survivors are borne by the killer.
killer can not Take advantage of survivors' blunders, just because survivors Can't handle those.
but after the anti-camp & anti-3gen is Implement.
survivor still don't know when/how to save the camp & how to not fix to 3gen.
so survivor still no change in the escape rate.(80% player)
nerf blight add-ons, even -50% speed, just because they don't know how to dodge it. so need hit to take effect(ring & tag)is nerf(rework) just because survivor don't know how to do. they even not play blight.
If want them to understand the killer's abilities, killer's abilities need to Intuitive and simple like Huntress.
a little complex like blight and Skull Merchant will smash the survivors brain.

after Sacrifice they will back to a ghost.
No. They don't get freaking invincibility as a ghost so they can do gens untouched.
as ghost survivor, they can't perceived Terror Radius, only can see close, move slower like carry a Xenomorph turrets.
And yet they can still complete gens and follow the Killer around, reporting on everything he does over Discord. And the Killer can't stop them. No. The idea is garbage.
other The Living Survivor status affects the Ghost Survivor repairs speed:
No, because Survivors coming back as untouchable ghosts after they die is terrible.
try to down multiple survivor to the ground, see that is terrible or not.

they not play for fun, they play for win.
Maybe they find winning fun? But of course, you don't approve of that, so you want Survivors to come back as freaking untouchable ghosts that can complete generators.
Because, according to you; Killers winning is bad and Survivors should be allowed to complete generators while being literally invincible after they die.
Trash idea is trash.
this idea when killer only know tunnel is trash for those killer.
not Implementation ghost survivor, just change Scourge Hook: Pain Resonance & Pop Goes the Weasel.
Tunnel Built on hook gains, if nerf a little those hook gains perk.
tunnel will be 1k build.

other The Living Survivor status affects the Ghost Survivor repairs speed:
0 survivor on hook or dying state: 0.65c/s (if gen in Regression State is 0.4c/s)
1 survivor on hook or dying state:0.4c/s (if gen in Regression State is 0.15c/s)
2survivor on hook or dying state:0.15c/s (if gen in Regression State is -0.1c/s)

MFT is still very strong. Pair it with DH and you're insanely hard to catch. Granted you actually have to have some skill to use DH now, but MFT paired with it is insane. Also it screws over Legion, Deathslinger, and to a lesser extent Skull Merchant.
maybe is very strong, but carry rate is not very optimistic.
31.5% down to 2.7%.

killer still have to Do everything they can to kill as many survivors as possible.
survivor still have to Cooperate to escape, whatever they do. and as always "Death is not an escape"
some survivor unhook themselves 3 time, and not struggle in Struggle Phase.

killer can dely Sacrificed to avoid survivor been ghost.
So the Killer's choice becomes:
- Sacrifice a Survivor, and they come back & do gens while being untouchable.
- Not sacrifice a Survivor...at which point they do gens, plus can heal, do flashlight/pallet saves, and can pick up other Survivors.
What a stellar choice! How did I not see the genius of this idea sooner?!
and ghost survivor only can fix the gen, so the fix speed can Adjust to 0.25~0.75c/s. downed survivor can not be heal up by ghost survivor.
So the 'Ghost Survivor' can just focus on gens, which helps his living Survivors win. And the Killer can't stop them.
Nope; Still a bad idea.
so killer need smart hook or Sacrificed the survivors. not Brainless sacrifices.
Essentially; You want to force Killers to 12 hook, or be punished by having invincible & unstoppable 'Ghost Survivors' working on gens.
All because you dislike so-called 'tunneling', and 3 gen setups (that Survivors inflict on themselves, BTW).
The idea is a broken mess that tips the game so far in Survivor's favor that it would become unplayable. All over this idea that Killers should be punished for trying to win without Survivor approval (What you call 'Brainless sacrifices'), and Survivors should be rewarded with literal immunity/immortality when they die.

nope, just most of player play DBD very bad.
they not play for fun, they play for win.
lights out events now Almost no one play.
Players play it only to get tag decorations, this event is obviously a lot of fun, but no one like it.
"tips the game so far in Survivor's favor."?
even anti-camp and anti-3gen not increase survivor escape rate at all。
Why can you conclude that this change will "tips the game so far in Survivor's favor"?
May this change that would make the Killer playstyle more aggressive, survivors get lower escape rate?
the ghost survivor can Completely resolved some survivor unhook themselves 3 time, and not struggle in Struggle Phase, then be Sacrifice by themself.
Are you just afraid of change? As long as it's changed, it will be booed?

or leave them on the ground 3 min delay the Sacrifice, the survivor that in dying state only can crawl, cannot fix gen or heal others or something else.
killer even can use dying state survivor as a bait to free hit other survivor Not to be looped by that saving survivors.
you need play more killer, Take advantage of the survivor's dying status, not Brainless 1 down 1 hook tunnel.
OR
you not good enough as killer, you have to carry perk like: Pop Goes the Weasel+ Scourge Hook: Pain Resonance
let perk and luck not your skill to lead 3k 4k the trial?
"So the 'Ghost Survivor' can just focus on gens, which helps his living Survivors win. And the Killer can't stop them.
Nope; Still a bad idea."
is a good idea, because it gives survivor a chance let them teammate to save them, so they will not Blame the killer.
like anti-camp, some survivor still blames killer camp, even their teammate never trying to save them.
Ghost Survivor can and only can do the gen, if killer can Put pressure to the other survivors(hook、hit to dying state), the ghost survivor The fix efficiency will be reduced , survivor even have a ghost teammate will still be 3k 4k.

nope, I mean killer only need 3~6 hook hole trial is enough.
let the survivor have free unbreakable let survivor and killer play more intensity.
because player always play Stable but boring.
DBD apparently encourage killers to use a more aggressive playstyle.
(like camp, camp is very stable for killer, stable for less 1k when anti-camp hook catch is not implementation)

So your 'fix' for tunneling and 3 genning is "Allow Survivors to keep trying to win after they have died, and the Killer has no counter to it"?

No.
Survivors don't get rewarded with immunity and any form of repair speed after they've lost.
why not? it against tunnel and 3 gen camp
-
hatch will open in begin the trial will not toxic. lol
-
Survivor ghost
when survivor Sacrificed, thier will be back to trial. Can only interact with generators by 0.75c/s.
-
survivor after so much buff but escape rate have no change.
so maybe is killer being too powerful.
-
@CammyChameleon said:
Asking for too much I think, we don't need nerfs to more killers/perks, we need more changes to maps preferably. Survivors are at a perfect strength arguably more so with Insta Heals and BNPs still being 22.5 second time saver.
Not too much, like all down no hook just slug, it truly delay the trial by killer.
Survivors are not at a perfect strength. even have free Borrowed Time, 8 kick limit per gen(ant-3gen).
Survivor Escape rate still have no change.
may let pallet need became more. like 2016 LT have 2 pallet.

Your justification for nerfing Killer perks is literally (It's too strong.) Any stats on that?
some blight after add-ons nerf still have stats that in 95% Trial survivor can't finish 5 gen be 3k or 4k.
so I think that still too powerful.
-
Spirit add-ons
Rusty Flute & Rin's Broken Watch
These two add-ons are quite powerful, making survivor have no chance to dodge it:
- Increases the Recharge rate of Yamaoka's Haunting by +20% & +15%. (was 40% & 30%)

i am laughing at the MFT change. 5% haste? The 3% one upset killer players and this guy is like reverts the changes and increases it to 5%.
yes, because now MFT is too weak, that survivor can not know how to use it.
-
Dead Man's Switch
now killer have so much way to Transfer obsession, so old activates is good for now:
After hooking the Obsession, Dead Man's Switch activates for the next 30/35/40 seconds.
- While activated, any Survivor that stops repairing a Generator.
- before it is fully repaired causes The Entity.
- to block the Generator until Dead Man's Switch's effect ends.
- Affected Generators are highlighted by a white Aura.
can only be obsessed with one Survivor at a time.
-
Item
survivor have 2 hand.
so, survovir now can carry 2 Item in Trial.
-
Blight Power
Fatigue duration: 2.5s→2s
but blight will have twice fatigue.(Meaning full fatigue is 4s.)
-
anti-facecamp is good.
if survivor Failed to hide and failed twice in the chase, leads to being hooked up. that is survivor not good enough.
survivor have 2 chance to escape form killer case
-
like old MFT, if Adrenaline not broken why such survivor take it in match?
1 of survivor in match have 30% chance have adrenaline. it almost all match survivor have less 1 adrenaline.
killer have no way to Prevent adrenaline from taking effect. unless don't let survivor open 5gen or close hatch.
Terminus perk is useless when against adrenaline.
sure Terminus can prevent survivor be heal to full by adrenaline, but can't stop they be heal to standup.
and don't have any way stop the speed boost. unless stop survivor fix the gen.
in this version, survivor have high chance fix all 5 gen. only need survivor Hide for a while In the beginning of match.
-
Guess why the killer isn't hook?
because hook make killer weak and give survivor powerful.
-
now is weaker Executioner.
if want play Onryo, just play executioner.

By that logic, We would not need an Anti-Face-Camp System anyway. But clearly we do and that is for a good reason, getting face-camped and tunneled without hope is literally why people have quit this game. And Sure, this game could be niche and only for a group of hardcore players who can take the pressure. But actually getting more mainstream and allowing less 'hardcore' players to have a smaller chance of a bad experience. I embrace that change from bHVR.
So I'm fine with player Killer that way; No I cant just stand there and guard the survivor up close without penalty. I need to find the other Survivors. That's what the Entity would want too, its quite clear bHVR can and should discourage these bad strategies.
Im not for keeping the game in a state of bleeding players, and neither is bHVR.
ok, let 16m→40m, even Huntress need 1s to hit survivor by Throwing axes.
make killer never gonna hook survivor up, just 4 down and slug.

95% of games killers simply proximity camp and it's the best, no-skill strategy to get a 4k. Please BHVR do something to solve this quality of life issue for survivors. You could kill it overnight by doing these things:
- TELEPORT OCCUPIED HOOKS: When a person is hook, the survivor and hook transport elsewhere, exactly like the cage of atonement, or give the survivors a perk that does the same thing.
- RAISE BLOCK CAP: Raise the limit on how many times players can block other players - we should be allowed to block killers who continuously proximity camp as their base strategy.
- FIX THE ANTI-FACE CAMPING MECHANIC: This is only about proximity camping in that you are training a generation of killers on how far away from the hook to stand. So, allow the timer to continue if the killer is above you (e.g. proximity camping the basement) or a survivor is nearby and being chased (not realizing they are killing you by being in your proximity). These are far more common occurrences than the concerns about what might happen for the killer.
- ALLOW SOLO SURVIVORS TO PLAY CUSTOM GAMES AGAINST AI KILLERS: Even if just giving us quicker/easier access to the tutorial with Trapper and allowing survivors to switch the maps. This doesn't directly help proximity camping, but survivors need some love since the 6.0.1 patch war against survivors.
OK.
We're no strangers to hook~♪ (hook 60s for a stage)
You know the rules and so do I~♪ (16m ant-camp、TELEPORT、10s buff、Activated perk)
A wholehearted sacrifice's what I'm thinking of~♪ (even not hook)
You wouldn't get this from any other guy~♪ (another killer will play same as this)
I just wanna tell you how I'm feeling~♪ (Don't want to win, just want to torture)
Gotta make you understand~♪ (In the match, use practical actions to make you understand.)
Never gonna hook you up~♪ (Because hook survivor is useless)
Never gonna Dropped you down~♪ (because killer never pick survivor up)
Never gonna run around and desert you~♪ (camp downed survivor)
Never gonna make you dry~♪ (will pick up survivor in 3m59s)
Never gonna say goodbye~♪ (let survivor Down from the killer's shoulder)
Never gonna pick you up and hook you~♪ (just slug)
-
hook only lock 2 stacks.
if some survivors have 4 or 5 stacks, hook it but only lock 2 stacks.
they unhook but BHVR think Sadako will chase another survivor, but most killer won't.
because if take down that survivor, hook it it will lock another 2 stacks, there have 4 lock stacks in here.
but lock for what? 7 stacks execute? it already have 2 hook.
Sadako now is just that the weaker executioner doesn't even have the Partition Wall Damage power.
Transmission? A survivor can turn off all TVs for 70 seconds is useless power.
Inserting the tape into the corresponding TV is nerf for Sadako, meaning that the survivor only needs 1 stack to greatly reduce Sadako's power.
If BHVR continue nerf a killer just because most of the survivors don't know how to deal with the killer's abilities (Those survivors didn't even play as killer single match)
don't make the killer power complex (For those never play killer stupid survivor)
hillbilly、huntresses power is Straightforward for those stupid survivors, dodge it is easy, hit by it is not good.
blight power is complex for those stupid survivors is too complex, when dodge it? how it work? they never play they never know, they just want nerf blight so they can Escape. No matter how bad they play.
BHVR:I think we did a pretty good j——ob so far.
(The frequent changes have left most of the survivors who don't read the update notes, dying every match, screaming nerf the killer, and even that killer as weak as #########.)

Because 10s Endurance is enough to survivor Escape from the basement.
Then go for the other survivor and don't tunnel. The basement still has un-sabotagable hooks (yes that's a word now) and a single long, narrow route to get to it.
Presuming you're proxy-camping (given the attempt to hit off the hook) then you can smack the survivor on their way to the unhook, making them an almost gudown after the unhook.
if survivor is good enough, killer can't smack the survivor on their way to the unhook.
killer need 15m away.
-
@pigslittlepet said:
Are you new? Basement is still the optimal hook position due to it one having 1 entrance and multiple hooks. It is still a great advantage for killer. If your survivors are hiding there just be glad their not on gens.
killer pick survivor down to basement take too long time.
it will give survivor 10s Endurance.
if survivor snake to basement (killer need 16m away so that snake will be easy) successfully save a hooked survivor, what ever killer hit, all survivor will get a pallet or window.
Most basements are under the shack or Main building。 Usually, there have At least 1 generator, at least 1 pallet, at least 1 window, at least 2 extra lockers.
Even if the killer carries Multiple search-related perks, it still will be easily counter by survivors perk (Calm Spirit、Distortion)
Can't catch the saver means survivor can Forcibly rescue the survivor that hook in the basement.
like I said, most killer, took the cost of time, but basement didn't pay off enough. hook in basement give too much to the survivors.
It's even better to simply carry the survivor into the basement without hook survivor.

Thats why I requested the other changes though, I aimed to make Trickster good and require smart counterplay to avoid dmg. He isn't easy and never will be, as long as stuff like main event is kept in check. Being 115 doesn't change that, he's limited by his ammo, lack of mobility, extreme precision, and sometimes map design too. I think all of that more than makes up for his ability being good. 115s just aren't good enough on their own without a good power to be a threat, as you typically need mobility of some kind to get hits.
Trickster would not be oppressive even with the stats i proposed. His power would still primarily feel the same way it always had, and has the same counterplay it used to. He'd just be better equipped to handle more situations and loops. If you don't want to lose your health states quickly, then don't let a 115 killer who has no mobility power get that close to you in the first place, and don't stay out in the open when he literally has a 48m warning range and has to hit you 6 times, giving you enough warning to start running somewhere. its simple really
44m Lullaby but Visually 40m.
Yes, survivor can 40m keep away from killer.
but survivor don't.
just like 16m anti-camp.
because survivor don't understand abandon that survivor or cooperation save. so anti-camp is come now.
Trickster is the same

I see a lot of people say this but with no explanation as to why. There's plenty of killers who are 115 that are much stronger and generally have less direct counterplay than Trickster. Just look at Blight and Billy on PTB, look at Artist, look at Xeno. Even Slinger has less counterplay than Trickster and he's 110, so I genuinely don't see why he can't just be 115 with his old stats, considering how fair his knives were across the board, and especially considering the nerfs I gave him to compensate his new speed and such.
Is there a single good reason why he can't be a good 115 killer, or is it just because of precedent? He's 115 right now and I still think he's less fair and interesting than old Trickster by a mile. I would at LEAST want to try it and see if it's actually too much, but nobody's willing to have that conversation it seems
like ptb blight.
if trickster want 6 knife/s it need a cool down when use knife damage survivor.
when trickster is 4.4 m/s 1.5s 100% knife dmg is good for trickster.
but trickster is now 4.6m/s killer, if 3.33 knife/s still only need 6 knife to dmg survivor is 1.8s but just Throw 1knife and use 4.6 to hit is too powful.
because if not dodge knife, 1.8s will be hit. but if dodge, The distance from the trickster will quickly brought closer.
Especially since there is no recoil at the moment.
4.6m/s OR Faster dmg by knife. is Choice by DBD.
this time they think this way is balance.
4.6m/s,3.33 k/s,8hit dmg. take dmg need 2.4s. even if trickster want to use fake throw, survivor still have a chance.

But this doesn't prove that 6 is worse than 8. Current throw rate is 1 blade every 0.3 seconds or 3.33333333 blades a second exactly (no rounding, I don't round usually).
0.3*8=2.4
0.3*6=1.8
This would mean that making no changes to throw rate and having it be 6 blades to take a health state, thus, 6 better than 8. I can prove this further too. 44/8 is 5.5 health states. 44/6 is 7.33333333 health states.
6 better than 8 is not good for game
because he is now 4.6 killer
he power can not better than 4.4

In my personal opinion, The appeal of the survivors is:
Movement speed is too high, so nerf Rat and Crow(-50%). This is good, let survivor know the speed is Not the reason why they were slaughtered. they NEVER try to dodge is the point.
ring is too pewful, because if hit The survivors' respite is too short, there is almost no chance, and the frustration is too strong. so just nerf it, give survivor little chance (more than 2.5s+5s). let them know They NEVER try to dodge is the point. if not hit it never have effect.
tag 1 hit down but 10s CD is too strong? give survivor 2 chance, if their teammate can help them they have even more chance. if survivor help each other they will have Huge buff angst blight.
as blight player, I can accept blight getting weaker, but I can't accept blight just being a better spirt.
ptb blight is strong baby.
Formal blight is weak adult.
But the strong baby can Crushing weak adult, It's a disaster of game design.

I think I'll finally be able to play killer again for a while.
Only complaints I have as of now is that the tutorial add-ons are still garbage, c7 being the worst add-on in the game by far. Also speed is still multiplicative instead of a flat amount, it's still a very solid nerf but it would have been better to make rat/crow 3/5% and additive. Speed is still strong honestly but I think that would have been the better change.
reduced in strength?
don't need any skill, but still can hit.
don't need to learn how to use rush, is fun?
old ring need blight Increase hit rate, need practice, new ring Just using rush will provide a gain. and survivor don't have any way Don't let the ring work.
-
Now blight is more powerful but need less skill.
is not good for game.

need more than 15.

8/3=2.67s
8/3.3=2.42s
6/3=2s
6/3.3=1.82
main event:
8/5=1.6s
8/6.15=1.3s
6/5=1.2s
6/6.15=0.98s

I still fail to see how 8 blades are good when its objectively worse than 6.
when you are survivor you will know how
now 4.6 is 3.3 b/s 50% acc need 16b mean need 4.85s to hit survivor. and have 10% addons when in main event is 6.12b/s means need 2.6s to down a survivor
before 4.4 is 3.5~4 b/s 50% acc need 12b mean need 3.2s to hit.
if killer still 4.4 the 6 blades are good but now is 4.6 killer.

8 KNIFE LACERATION METER is good. can't low than 7
3.33 THROW RATE is enough for 4.6.
MAIN EVENT defult 5s
- E combo:+0.5秒
- D combo:+1秒
- C combo:+1.5秒
- B combo:+2秒 (8 knife)
- A combo:+2.5秒 (never)
- S combo:+3秒 (never)
B combo is enough 7s

I think you have no idea what you're talking about, that's not the point of my initial comment
1: I'm great at playing survivor and I'm a decent killer, I say this because I recognize my limits
2: I always slug when I need to apply map pressure, but when the match is over I look for survivors so I can hook them, if they are in the corner of a map where I can't hook them I just watch them
3: I don't mind losing as a survivor, but I get angry when I lose as a killer because I always say it's the map's fault (haddonfield, pale rose etc etc) or something like that (even if I'm playing like a neanderthal) , but I usually win most of my games
so you still think need give survivor free perk?
even now survivor have Buckle-up to Counter slug before all down, and unbreakable.
your win most of games is about 95%?

what are you talking about dude
I'm talking about:
If you're not good, you should practice more. If you can't afford to lose don't play.
The slug is the good tactics, And the no hook is good decision.
If you keep think the slug need anti-mechanic and hook is better. Buddy. Why don't you prove slug need anti-slug-mechanicby play killer?

you think all 4 survivor are downed is Relax hook time, I tell you that is not time to Let your guard down.
Survivors still have more moves waiting for you.

already give speed add-ons heavy downsides. The faster the speed, the greater the turning radius.
but need buff Plague Bile、 Umbra Salts, give them Increases the maximum Look angle during a Rush.
