Preach,brutha!

If you feel like you have to use those perks that sounds like a lack of creativity and imagination on your part
-
We don't need Buckle up existing when we have WGLF and MFT. Buckle Up was redundant but also power crept the above combo
Endurance for 2 people absolutely should require 2/16 perk slots

They nerfed Chucky because it was too easy for him to abuse the scamper and get a lot of free hits. Its nerf is right.
After the nerf he will require a bit of actual skill.
I'm one of those people who hated Chucky because of how useless he is when he is on CD.
This nerf might get me to try him out again
-
Why not nerf Deadlock?
-
Any chance of us getting esteemed drow paladin Drizzt Do Urden?
-
Honestly? Good.
I hate to say it, but Chucky is Hella overrated and dare I say a Survivor punching bag; this change is healthier for Chuck and it let's him use hisactual power more...even if it might be a net nerf it's a plus for him in the long run.
I don't think anybody actually cares about the scamper nerf
-
We did it guys, no mither meta let's gooooooooo
-
Armoured Titans got cake, has a giant rod, and he isn't ashamed of bearing it all in front of survivors. Prime husband material right there.
Ada Wong+Mikasa Ackermann are scientifically perfect imo, although Mikaela and Steve are nice too.
I've never seen ST yet but Steve is great

They are the same ; Dbd physics are capable of warping space-time

Strictly speaking, teabagging also originates from a similar kind of gesture. Teabagging as such has become a staple of video game communication.
Is it immature? No doubts there. Is it bannable… likely not.
I feel like the reason that dbd players take "pretend r*pe" more seriously is because, like the real deal, you have no agency and the killer only does it because they know you are powerless.
Back in Halo you'd just spawn in and teach that person a lesson. Typically they'd ragequit because people can't handle what they dish out. But in dbd you just go on tilt and bring your baggage to the next match.
-
aim dressing kills The Spirit for me. It didn't bother me when she had OP add-ons that let you run Survivors over in a Honda civic but now that you have to actually play her, I just keep eating Aim dressings.
I feel like I sometimes can't afford to play around Aim dressing on her because some hits can only be got by slapping people before they can physically react.

Literally anytime I face a Pinhead now I'm like how. Either they don't know he is bugged or they just miss all his chains and M1 only
They must be Cenobites irl; true seekers of pleasure.

Depends on the killer/survivor, mostly.
But I recently took a long (about 6-7 week) hiatus to focus on BG3 and FFVIIR, and am really struggling to get reengaged/motivated. I get bored of DbD 2-3 matches in. Bought the newest chapter, mostly out of habit, but just don't care. Haven't even touched the new killer. I've had previous bouts where DbD started to feel like a hamster wheel, but not this bad.
Maybe the anniversary will be invigorating. Hopefully. But maybe after 4K+ hours I'm just cooked and I needed some perspective to see it.
How's bg3 treating ya? I beat 1 and 2 to hype myself up but I think I burned myself out on turn based more than anything between that and P3r
-
Let's not nerf Sable, thanks.
-
I feel nothing. No excitement, but no negativity either.
I guess with the game being in vacation mode, dbd is kind of out of my mind for now. Fingers crossed that the Anni will have something to excite me, though.
I honestly don't even care. Give us Springtrap, The Shark or The Raptor, do whatever but just please go the extra mile on this one.
-
I'm convinced that Knight and Pinhead will never be fixed. Nobody likes them so nobody cares, heck some even celebrate the state they are in.
-
If you bought a skin for a temporary competitive advantage, that's on you.
I specifically bought James Sunderland to be a Jeryl main but I'm not complaining that I lost my beloved survivor main, because I knew from Day 1 that it wasn't gonna last.

How exactly are maps killing this game? I get that solo queue has it rough at the moment, but how are maps a problem? Except of course for the new Haddonfield map.
For me it's the spawn logic of things like gens from map reworks/shrinking.
For example, 2gens used to never spawn in RPD main lobby. Then it became super common. We can blame things like Skull Merchant or perks all we want, but it's kinda moot when killers can just spawn in and realize they don't need to move.
-
Legions foolproof tracking makes them a phenomenal option for understanding survivor psychology, habits and patterns.
Docs cool and all but Legions tracking has more consistent uptime
-
On the bright side,if you've ever wanted to 1v1 a survivor @ Cowtree, the SM is the killer to do it with
-
I got 1 shot by a Slinger who had the Iri but he did not have it post match. I thought it was possibly a cheater then but there was nothing suspicious about the gameplay.

I think a lot of that is to due with the fact that most people have accepted that if they go down, their game is likely over.
Could be wrong, but that's the attitude I've seen. Especially for early downs.
I really think Survivors need a mid-match or late-match comeback mechanic. I think that would help out a lot.
My headcanon is that BHVRreleased the My Little Oni because of people feeling like that and wanted to experiment with that angle.
-
Pain Res, please. I don't care about notifications or screams, I just hate the garbage token system
-
Is the offering kill switched or just GoJ? Does this mean I have a 100% chance to go to Greenville?

I've said for ages, if a Survivor wants out, they should just glue themselves to gens and do nothing else. Quitting is such bottom behaviour.
Also, I love that people only really pay attention to the annoying and bs behaviour of most of the Survivor player base when the popular person(s) talk about it
Glueing yourself to a gen in order to die is great until the killer realizes that you've given up so they just grab you off the gen then let you bleed out

Slugging is not the problem. It's hardcore slugging. There is a difference in that there is nothing wrong with a killer trying to get a second down right after the first (sometimes even downing everyone, if they all group up). But the situations in which a killer completely refuses to hook anyone until all survivors are down are terrible and should really be looked into.
Base kit Unbreakable was a horrible idea but I reckon that when 2+ survivors are on the ground at the same time, it could work. Make it relatively slow for 2 survivors and faster the more survivors are slugged. And for the love of god, rework Knockout. A perk that only works for hardcore slugging is a terrible idea.
That Unbreakable basekit change was so odd to me. It was meant to be a nerf to mass slugging/bleedout but all it did was legitimize slugging by giving it a certified Win Condition.
I justwanted the auto mori to only apply when the last survivor alive went down to prevent losing slugs so we all can go next :(

What they need vs what I'd like them to have are very different!
What I want:
https://forums.bhvr.com/dead-by-daylight/discussion/370508/tatarius-legion-update
What they need:
- Score Event for Frenzy downs
- Survivor pools of blood shown in Frenzy (reverted from patch 2.7.0)
- The power gauge pauses when performing actions in Frenzy (Frank's Mix Tape base-kit)
- Oblivious Survivors can be seen on Killer Instinct when within range (works for Doctor so it should work for Legion)
- Increased speed during cool-down to 2.3m/s (was 2.07m/s)
- Decreased darken effects during cool-down
Other than that, fix their bugs and tweak some of their add-ons.
Some of those are great ideas, honestly I would be so happy with seeing blood trails. Do they really not get a score event for Frenzy downs? That's really odd
-
It's still bad. Even when I don't notice it on my end, I've been seeing killers get lost trying to find my body. At first I thought I was being humped but I quickly realized my body was probably teleporting around.

Legion needs a buff (yes apparently this idea is completely absurd)
Out of curiosity, what is it that you think they need? A
-
After 3k hours no, there is no maining anything.
I did consider myself a Legion main, because I believe they are the best killer to get better at the game with. I played them when they were considered a killer with useless power, but for me that Killer Instinct allowed me to hone my macro skills while everything else came down to micro skill.
Legion can't kill anybody without using basic m1 gaming so I credit my skills all to them. I wanted the killer that would give me results, and Legion is like being Rock Lee or Goku with the training weights on. When they come off and you get to use a real power, you feel unstoppable lol.
When I use a killer who has specific or unique ways of looping, like Wraith or Spirit, I find myself going back to Legion to cleanse my palette to keep my skills and muscle memory sharp.
Legions omnipotence is what naturally made me a Pinhead connesour because I'm used to figuring out where all survivors could be at a certain time.
-
We're you doing a glyph? There's a certain type that can expose you
-
Jeez, people sure get worked up over Distortion users. Everybody is quick to fall back and swear by their anecdotal negative confirmation bias of "Distortion gaming" but conveniently never mention the heroes that use their Distortion to Bob and weave past these info perks to go for a ballsy rescue because the killer, most likely a Huntress or Wraith, is proxy camping the unhook because wverybodys injured and mangled and is securing the 2nd stage with Ultimate Weapon or whatever.
Too many times people try to position themselves to make a play but they catch a stray Nowhere to Hide. The fact that people handwave this perk off as only a perk for immersed and selfish people is rather disappointing.
Fact is, there is no other perk like Distortion for risk taking, ballsy objective go getters. The initiative takers. We used to have 100% Iron Will, but that's gone now so now we only have Distortion. And auras have only gotten more ubiquitous since Iron Wills nerf

What are you even saying… using Lethal to tunnel at 5 gens?? How is that possible??
Are you saying that getting into chase quickly from the start is actually tunnelling? What? I didn't even hooked anyone yet, so how can I tunnel someone?
I'm not saying that being chased at the start is tunneling, but rather I'm just trying to explain why Survivors don't want to be the 1st one found, despite that being the optimal time to be found because the whole map is your oyster.
Take your average Wesker game, for example. You being hooked firstgives the Pop+Pain Res to obliterate a Generator, then you get inevitably proxy camped because a Survivor will have to go there. Then you may as well put the unhooked Survivor on death hook for pressure. Then you may as well just tunnel them out.
I call out Lethal specifically because there's no chance to really prepare, there's no "search" phase its just immediate target. Lethal paired with strong regression or gen block is sometimes just way too much.
BaBack When face camp was allowed, the camp meta specifically was Lethal+Deadlock+NOED and that build was the easiest 2k a killer could ever ask for. Your only option as a solo is literally don't be found first.

The only situation that is actually toxic is having all the survivors slugged and letting them bleed out, refusing to pick up anyone. This scenario almost never happens to even be worth mentioning or making changes to the game over. If someone sees this regularly I question the integrity of how them or their team is playing heavily. I play way more than most people and I never see this. Doubt I've even seen it once in the last 500 games.
There's absolutely nothing wrong with slugging for pressure or slugging one of the last two people while you look for the other. That's what the killer is forced to do because the hatch mechanic exists. If you don't want this scenario then argue for the hatches removal. It's just an RNG free escape chance for losing.
Slugging is not the same thing as bleeding survivors out. Those are two different scenarios.
When people complain about slugging, they literally are talking about bleeding out.

I am that person that b lines straight to afk survivors with Lethal Pursuer. If I am playing an infect killer I may just infect and leave, but usually it's straight to hook.
I always give these people hatch, but the past few times they've just sacrificed themselves. I don't blame them, there's no voice chat but still, to somebody I am a monster. Still, it's a terrible feeling when that is how the match plays out
I get it, babies cry and pizzas get delivered. But my perk value, bro :(
One of my buddies is really bad for this. Whenever we play, he ALWAYS feels the need tohit the bong as the match is starting and it drives me insane.
-
Survivors take gen perks and spend all match getting chased, or bring heal perks against a Plague.
Killers have to deal with it just like everybody else. If you want to put all your eggs in one basket, that's a risk you need to take into consideration.
We see all this Distortion because killers use Lethal to tunnel at 5 gens.

Seems fun.
I like this build a lot:
Second wind, we'll make it, wicked and alert.
But of an allrounder that is focused on healing and info.
Another idea for your build would be empathic connection.
Another wicked Second Wind enjoyer! Heck yeah!
A cool thing about self unhook is that you can apply BT and Babysitter to yourself for additional speed to dodge a hit. BT is awesome because killers can't count past 10 for your team mates, but for yourself that bonus move speed can be the difference that dictates whether you get healed or Deep Wounded

perk value bad, mkay

Tryhards ruin the game. It's fine to try and win, but actively refusing to let the other side do anything, either with your perks or add-ons, ruins the experience for everyone involved, and frankly, I doubt even the tryhard is having fun.
Pig isn't fun to play against.
If you're a streamer, stop putting TTV at the end of your name. The only person who might go watch your stream is the killer.
Wiggling should be buffed.
Maps should be bigger, and have more playability than just the odd pallet or window. There should be new mechanics, on both sides, that actually work, to keep the gameplay fresh.
If you're the last one, and you haven't been on hook yet, you should be allowed to attempt to get off the hook. It's not fair that you just die.
PPlenty Of times I watch a twitch vod and the survivors will come in and talk about the match I was just in. As the killer I'm the one that feels left out of the discussion </3
The real problem is that a lot of people with ttv just do not stream, like they're just making a joke by having you waste your time looking them up.

Bond is great with Open-Handed and Kindred. I run that with Prove Thyself once in a while.
On one of my last matches before they removed Hawkins, I tried Bond, windows and Kindred with open handed and I felt like I was omnipotent, I could see everything!
rhank goodness that Ultimate Weapon is on the decline
-
People love to powertrip over some perceived slight. Letting you bleed shows that I am big and strong and you puny
It's just sad
-
Bond, Adrenaline and, Deja Vu and Resilience
If solos ran Bond instead of Self Care, we'd have reached world peace years ago
-
It surprises me just how many Background Player TTV SWFs think I'm literally garbage person for...not picking up a survivor. Or daring to hit a FtP user
After dealing with 6+ successful Flashbang rescues, I think I've earned that head nod, but it's a little disappointing to give it my all in response to a team giving it their all but I'm the bad person
-
My killers have definitely been respecting the DS. It's been kinda nice, actually.
-
Bring a map offering. Scratch mirror isn't viable outside of a cherry picked environment. I've never seen a SM Myers actually play out a Cornwind game when their RPD, Lerys or Game offering get overruled. Boring advice but it's true.
OOther Than that, just recognize that it's Scratch Mirror and assume you are revealed at all times. Heal around checkspots and other safe places with Line of Sight
SM myers literally cannot loop, everything is basically an infinite against him so you need to make sure you don't 3 gen yourself or needlessly waste pallets
