bloodlust = DS, BT, UNBREAKABLE, ADRENALINE, OOO
poor quality bait
-
and they will still surprise us making something even worse

If a killer Mori all survivors after first hook, they don't even get a rank point, so if you do so, as a killer, either you are really dumb, or you just want to ruin the experience for someone.
Considering the amount of toxic survivors around, that love to teabag, flash spam, etc. I'm not surprised that some killers are doing this just to piss on survivors during the bloodlust test.
still backfire, imo
-
commercial intent. they rather sell you broken killers like the twins than fixing existing ones that everybody already own
-
asia isn't exactly "the rest of the world" compared to usa, you know? europe, south america, africa and oceania are a thing... this forum isn't NA only, there are people from all over the world.

I wonder if someday huntress' hatchets will stop disappearing and making survivors to splash blood WITHOUT changing survivor's health state and also stop hurting survivors that didn't get hit.

Without bloodlust I've been having an extra experiment, perkless on most killers(except trapper and wraith) most matches end up in 2-3k which for me is a tie(2k) and 3k is a win.
So I think this would also help the mmr for everyone, it would no longer be outperked, it will be outskilled.
I've been having to play more scummy but it is what it is for the extra test.
Who would be in favor of removing perks for the weekend?
2k isn't necessary a tie just like 3k isn't necessary a win. a 2k where you 3 hook the dead survivors and 2 hook the other 2 is totally a win. even a 1k with 1 3 hooks a 3 2 hooks should be a win if you got gen rushed. killing 3 on first hook by camping or moring is totally a complete loss.

considering how bad bhvr is with statistics they will only see the final result (4k) and say: "bloodlust is unnecessary"
they will ignore player's ranks, addons, items, offerings, if survivors were a 4 man swf or 4 solos

Yes, some killers are unplayable now.
git gud, tbh

gen rush, there is no other option
-
trapper with RBTs
-
they don't really care about console players. my girlfriend always play with all doors and windows locked to try to see anything in the maps (she plays on ps4)
-
this killer has been released 3 months ago, everybody knew this was a bug since ptb and yet bhvr decided not to fix it until they screwed with match start killers animation and everybody saw the blight was buried 1m in the ground LOL
-
as killer: gen rush squads.
as survivors: campers.
-
She already have coldown, you know...
-
I started enjoying killer once I stopped caring about killing people because if survivors are optimal, you are not going to kill anybody. I just want to go there, try some cool shots with huntress or some hard chainsaws with billy. That's all I care about

I mean that's a fair criticism. Maybe I'm a little biased cause I never use exhaustion perks other than for archive challenges. It def needs a shorter cooldown. 60 seconds like saboteur wouldn't be that bad.
They probably have tested a shorter cooldown and decided it would be too powerful, but I agree the 2 min cooldown is too long. But at least the cooldown only applies if you complete the action (unlike saboteur)

Well alot of people on here saying its too weak to be an exhaustion perk. So why in the hell does it have a 2 minute cooldown for something so weak? You honestly thing its a strong enough perk to justify a 2 minute cooldown?
I agree it should have a shorter cooldown, but not exhaustion, IMO. Imagine not being able to reset a pallet because you used you Sprint Burst? It would make it a worst perk than it is rn...
-
you can put a smile on your face because NOBODY will ever force you to prestige any character!
-
because it has its own cooldown
-
because the first is meant to award good killers, the later to award bad killers.

Fair enough. Sadly, it seems bad players will always find a way to DC. Honestly, I wish Struggling was automatic, with a 'give up' button when it's down to 2 Survivors (so you can give up to give your friend the hatch).
That would fix it. Babies would have to wait out the match or afk (which is reportable) or quit (which is bannable)
This could be a better solution for the hook suicides, I like it. Unfortunately, Mathieu already said that wiggle and struggle are meant to be manual and uncomfortable. RIP dualshocks ☠️

I didn't even know this movie existed until this community started talking about it (I'm from Brazil). My grilfriend who is more a horror movies person, have never seen it too, but at least she already have heard about it.
Recently I made the exact same points you made (except the classic and the bonus) in this post in another discution. I totally agree with all of them.
That said, I really really hope you are right.

It's easy to punish hook suicides:
After <x>-length grace period (Say, 12 hour) to learn the game, anytime you try to Kobe twice and do not struggle, it counts as a disconnect.
After 12 hours, most people will realize that trying to kobe is bad, and will know what the struggle phase is and how to not die in it.
Besides the fact that this is a dab solution, it is easy to bypass
Bad solution because
- The killer is sluging everybody, kobing is the last resource
- The killer downed the last guy, kobing is the last resource
- The last guy opened the door and is teabagging the killer instead of trying to save me, kobing is the last resource
These situations I mentioned earlier don't require struggling if you fail kobing.
Easy to bypass because
All you have to do is struggle a little not to qualify as a quitter and than quit

I dunno, PC/Console devs really seem uncaring and deaf toward players suggestion who begged for ages who's actually on the mobile version of the game.
Visual cues, bots, QoL improvements with the blood market, all those suggestions asked frequently got aknowledged by the mobile devs and it feel very unfair.
I hope this is not the case, makes no sense not willing to make the best for the game and the players. I just would like to know if it is that hard to port mobile code to console/PC, since it looks like they actually share the same code :(

Honestly, I don't care if they will hook-suicide (which should also be punishable). I'm flat-out tired of salty babies disconnecting and then coming on these forums and going 'It's sooooo unfair! I only disconnected SOMETIMES!'
Husks and bots are not meant to replace players. They're meant to soften the sting when a 10 year old plays on his big brother's account and ragequits. The infants still need to be punished for being too immature to actually play the game.
I just want to remember that the killer also gets punished by an early hook suicide.
- Hooking only one time this survivor will not grant you extra BPs for hooking him 3 times
- Early hook suicides usually lead to more first hook suicides which leads to even less hooking and even less BPs
- Less hookings = less emblem progression = the awesome experience of 4k depiping
(hurdur ranks mean nothing hurdur) - Gaming isn't about easy wins, is about playing a fun game. I don't enjoy a 4k when the first one was an early hook suicide
Punishing hook suicides makes ZERO sense. The game can't understand if the person just suicides because wanted to DC or
- The killer is sluging everybody, kobing is the last resource
- The killer downed the last guy, kobing is the last resource
- The last guy opened the door and is teabagging the killer instead of trying to save me, kobing is the last resource
- The killer is facecamping, I'm out
- The killer is insidious basement camping, I don't want people to come here to die, I'm out
- The killer is a pig/gf stealthily proximity camping, I'm out

Hi all, I just recently switched from console to PC. I'm used to using a controller because of console. I have been using a controller on a laptop but wonder if I should invest in a decent keyboard.
about "I should invest in a decent keyboard"
Don't you think you are getting better with a expensive keyboard. I play the same way either on my G4m3r_MECHAn!c_k3yB04rd or in my everyday wireless slim keyboard lol

@Entity_Hugs said:
https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/152783/why-bots-arent-a-thing-yet
Nope. Add the bots but still punish DCers.
Bots will never be as good as human players, and, frankly, if people are too immature to finish a game because 'Whaa! I got 'tunneled' (whatever that means to me)' or 'Boo-hoo! I don't like Ghostface!' then they deserve bans, regardless of if there's bots or not to replace them.
I agree that punishing DCers is necessary in current game state. BUT if the idea is replacing them with a bot you can't punish them or they will just hook suicide. You can't replace a hook suicide with a bot, the DCer will not be punished the same way, the remaining players will be punished.

I started playing on console, I played a lot but never were good enough to loop, I always played stealth and went instantly down. I only started playing decently on PC. It feels like the camera control is more precise. But maybe this is personal. If you are a survivor main and you feel that you are doing good with the controller, I don't think you need to change.
But if you are a killer main, you should totally go for the M&K. Sometimes my gf ask me to play some killer games on console to do some dailys and it feels like hell. Playing killer on controller is so painful. If you are facing marginally good survivors you will suffer.
-
cause i like it spicier

How are you still getting caught? Surely if you're being tunneled every other game you should be in chases the majority of the time. So why are you so bad at looping that you still end up dying?
you have no idea how slow learning i am

it's a mix of the capsule hitbox with latency. happens a lot against huntress too. corners are deadly.
-
I would like to turn off walls, pallets and vaults too, pls, they obscure my vision sometimes... ty
-
yes, sure, remove one of the two killers that require skill to play as. also, add more freddies and doctors. ty

I would use the blood point offerings... if they actually gave a decent amount of blood points.
It's honestly LAUGHABLE that you could actually LOSE more blood points than you actually earn from the bp offerings.
keeping them in your inventory doesn't give you more BPs than what they cost you :)
-
I always use a brown offering/item when I feel like using nothing. My girlfriend uses nothing because she says she is tired of using a full loadout just to be face camped, tunelled out of the hook by small brain killers... She also never get BPS on killers' bloodweb because she hates giving BPs to toxic red ranks swf that she faces as a yellow rank killer...
-
it only is an infinite if the survivors know what they are doing. as most of red rank survivors have no idea what they are doing and just press w, sometimes funbus isn't even touched during a match...

No i mean wait until killer leaves the area. The reason i am asking is because idk if its taking the game hostage
they can and they do. and it's pretty annoying tbh. survivors punish the killer for their own mistake. I mean punish because as a killer I have ZERO reason to leave the area with the gens. If survivors refuse to do the gens they end up making the match painfully long

I recently played a group of players and thought... this is far too well organised so asked them afterwards whether they were in an SWF using communications. They responded no and they were solo.
You can imagine my surprises a couple of matches later at seeing them again in a lobby, what were the odds!
Why do survivors lie about being in an SWF?
was it a 4 man swf or 3 man only? all of them said they weren't in a swf? I ask because I play solo and yesterday I got 2 matches in a row with two guys that were playing swf. if the killer from the first match have asked if we were in a swf, I would say no and if he saw us on the next match together again he would think I was a liar which wasn't the case... a solo getting a 2, 3 man swf repeatedly isn't that uncommon...
BUT if all 4 said they were solo and then you got all of them together the next match, yeah, they were probably lying...
-
thank you guys for taking the time to answer me. really appreciated!
-
it helps killers that use noed to be able to use the perk faster, if you know what i mean...
-
The perk is already sufficiently hard to activate to be wasted this way...
-
"Some games I guess you just can't win..." this. Some people just don't understand this. I'm glad you are making a good use of the bell man...
-
I've set two macros in my mouse, one for struggling other for wiggling. They make exactly what you are hoping for.

TBF, as someone who's been beaten so badly that I have memory problems (morbid, I know), when you're in that level of panic, you also don't think to LET GO of what you're holding.
You'r body goes onto auto-pilot for anything that's not 'Protect me'. if you're holding something, you keep holding it, for the most part.
That also makes sense, sorry OP, your suggestion was discarded
-
you are in the floor, dying, suffering from pain, ,screaming in agony, your muscles are rigid, your heart is pulsing like crazy because you just got hit by the evil incarnate, the blood is flowing out of your body, you are about to be hanged on a hook and all you can think of is holding tight to a stupid flashlight. instead of being able to drop items, survivors should always drop the item when downed.
-
I would buff solo queuers
- Kindred Baselkit
- Remaining Totems Counter
- MMR
