This is a weird take. Every killer has an ability and 9/10 times players will exclusively use that ability…. That would be like complaining about Huntress using her hatchets. People can play the game how they want. If a billy wants to shoot themselves in the foot for using their chainsaw when it's not working that's on them.
Also, Billy's tech is very unique and if you learn it can be very satisfying and effective. It's really hard to use though and takes a long time to learn. That's all these players are doing.

Your point does not change the facts.
survivors wouldonly rarely if ever be winning a game again if killers could dc without penalty. That is what would happen, why would a killer stay in a game he won't win when he can just w for the next?
for bp and the attempt at coming back. Are you new to this game? I've been playing since 2017. There was a LONG period of time with no dc penalties for killer or survivor and it was fine lmao. Again, it's a 10 second queue for survivors and again you're not addressing the point. My point is the facts. Killers are forced to take on matchmaking penalties by hackers that want to hold games hostage and force you to DC. Anti cheat will never be enough to stop this.

Ok this is unnecessarily mean.
I don't have friends that play dbd either that does not mean I don't have friends at all and I never bothered to find friends that play dvd since I exclusively play killer so having dbd friends was never something worth to put time into
So what, you're just stalking me now lmao. Dude went after everyone that enjoys the mode for "Ultra Casuals"

Hacking is a problem that should be dealt with via the anti cheat.
Regardless that you don't have team mates that suffer when you DC as a killer, without a dc penalty my point stands. Killers would just DC when the game does not work out for them
Antik cheat clearly doesn't work and hackers always find new ways to get around it and make new accounts. Survivors can move on to another game with a 10 second queue time.
Everyone that plays survivor sees making a killer DC as a badge of honor. It's always funny and satisfying when it happens. the only one negatively impacted would be the killer. Again, stop ignoring my point. I was held hostage in 3 straight cames and forced to DC each time.
-
Crazy how many people don't care about the rampant hacking issue this game has. People care more about camping and tunneling than literal hackers. Make it make sense

Like sorry but I don't know how you are reading the steam charts when that is literally the lowest point on the chart and noway indicates that there is more americans playing even before that as it usually at that point it has been falling for about 12 hours from the peak hours I was talking about. Still the point why its the lowest player amount is the fact that there is a huge ocean between america and europe so there is no players in those times zones. When you guys have 4am there its only 8am in western edge of europe and here on the eastern side its not even noon yet. Are you seriously expecting there to be some players at that time? Still after it goes around 5am of your time oddly the player amounts rise to the peak inside six hours. That is when the europeans start playing not americans.
The steam charts show everyone lmfao. Yes the time for me may be different elsewhere but it doesn't change the amount of players on at that time. What point are you even trying to make at this point lmfao. Again, my point is queue times are going to higher at 5am est for everyone globally, which the steam charts validates what are you even on about

Steam charts paint a quite opposite picture as peak hours are between 6pm and 10pm of my time and as its now little over 9pm here that makes US time zones its around 10am to 2pm so are you claiming people in america mainly early morning or day? I would imagine even in america the peak hours are around the same 6-10pm. So Steam charts seems to indicate most players of this game are europeans.
You also think people speaking english means they are from north america sorry but english is quite universal language used to communicate over the internet. Most people are not from north america who write english on the internet or would you prefer I wrote to you in my language that you would not understand?
You want to base it on steam charts, yet steam charts literally prove my point. Looking at the time of 4-5 NA east the player count on DBD gets cut in half to even below half. Thats not a regional thing, that's all of steam and that's a pretty good reflection as to how the games player count is. Again, a majority of players are in NA, and when its 4-5am est 1-2am pst the player counts are significantly impacted. Proving my initial point.....

Just to point out this. You do realize people play in different servers than you so their peak hours can be totally different from yours. Time zones exists you know
Obviously but a vast majority of players are in the us. Odds are this person speaking English is in north America lmao. Even if not, when the servers slow down they get supplemented with players in other regions...... thats why you csn have 10 games of normal 30-60 ping and suddenly have a game where everyone but 1 players is close to 200....

Look at the time you posted your comment lol 5am.... No wonder your queue time is long.... I was playing until 4 and my queue times were only 3 minutes.

@Starrseed said:
No DC penalty means games won't be finished so I'm this case no game where the survivors are winning would be played to its end and only games where the killer dominates will.
The second something goes sideways the killer would dc cause why not?
- First chase was to long
- Mind game didn't work
- Power missed
- Pallet stun
- Any form of save be it torch or palette
- Lost a mind game
- Doesn't like the map
- Doesn't like a perk that got used
- Doesn't like hex spawn
All this would just make killers dc
Except when a killer DCs, survivors can instantly queue into another game. Sure, players are petty and will DC over the smallest thing, but you failed to address the main point: the hacking. Have you ever been held hostage by hackers? I literally had a game where I said "screw it" and went AFK for 20 minutes, and the game was still going, and I was still trapped in the game. I have faced so many hackers lately, and my penalty is up to an hour, and there's nothing I did wrong. This is the issue. The game used to exist without matchmaking penalties, and it was fine. The issue is survivors are a team, so when one DCs, they all suffer. That's not the case for killers.
-
Sorry. Most people have friends, unlike you apparently. The mode is a great way to have fun with friends, or to grind out BP in survivor mode. Also, queues arent 10+ minutes for killer in 1v4. Longest ive had the past week is 4 minutes. This is an ultra loner take.
Also, the only complaints i see about this event is how survivor/killer sided it is. The average DBD complaints lmao. I don't see anyone mad at it's existance.

The cap is now 5 million, but yeah, only BP earned directly in trial is capped.
Part of the confusion is probably coming from quests, as the BP earned from completed quests appear as part of the endgame screen and still get added to the player's BP even if the cap has been reached. It may look like matches are still awarding bloodpoints even though it's only adding the quest BP.
Nah. We were watching it every game. he was getting it from matches. It was really weird
-
update- he capped at 9.6mil
-
i personally think it shouldnt be a free hit and needs to be skill shot. also really need to fix the hit reg
-
literally had a game where i said gg killer and it went to gg ****** and they got mad and told me i was getting reported for saying a slur lol it's nuts
-
Just be better? idk what else to tell you. onryo is a mid tier killer who is just an m1 with map control.
-
I have this happen by literally the game ending. The game will end whether i escape/die as a survivor or game ends as a killer. The moment the end game screen pops up it will just say that the server isnt responding and wont get anything

You are wasting perk slots on killer who has stealth from start….
Also highely map dependant. Not going to do much, if survivors have vision around the gen.
Basically the perk that makes the build work is Tinkerer, because it tells you where to get to stop survivors from finishing gens.
If you used Tinkerer, Whispers, Surge, Pain res/corrupt it would be way stronger build.4 undetectable perks on stealth killer is just wasted.
Saying you won against X don't mean anything, when you can't show how good survivors were and how did you play.
Comparing true stealth killers to an undetectable build is ignorant and the difference between undetectable and full stealth killers is that while undetectable you can spend the whole chase at full speed without a red stain
You really think stealth is going to win you chases when survivor know about you? It's useless when survivors have LoS and red stain can be hidden simply by movement, so stealth in chase only removes skill issue.
and again, Skully just need to use drone for it, no need for any perk…way to just discredit everything i said with nothing to actually base it totally neglect me going against your comparison point attempt. Loading up on stealth perks absolutely helps and makes her stronger. Thats like saying you shouldnt load up on m1 killer perks because theyre already an m1 killer. what youre doing is strengthening and expanding on what shes already good at and again you just need to stop talking because youve never even attempted the build. Don't try to argue against something you clearly know nothing about. Also nice cop out. Just discredit my example because "i didnt see it so it didnt happen" crazy absolutley crazy.
and skull merchants drones only last for roughly 18 seconds with addons and you cant spam them in a chase. having tinkers and trail are extremely helpful when in a chase as well as giving you generator information. Theres nothing wrong with expanding on what makes a killer good by investing perks into that.
I did also say that plaything was more for an overkill and you can run any perk you want for a 4th it just makes them be even more paranoid until they find their totem, but every perk there has way more benefit than the stealth. It's crazy how you downplay everything. It almost sounds like you dont even play the game at that point.
Dark devotion- Will make the obsession unable to heal and do anything for the most part until it wears off do to always hearing your radius. Will also keep survivors away to prevent co-op actions
Trail- gives you generator information because once that wears off you know that either its fully regressed or a survivor is on it. as well as keep survivors away from it
Tinkerer- this ones obvious so i dont need to explain it
and again i did say any other 4th perk works. i swap it out frequently. Spies/Lethal/Pain Res are other ones i frequently use. Also devour hope is great with this depending on the totems spawn.
"You really think stealth is going to win you chases when survivor know about you? It's useless when survivors have LoS and red stain can be hidden simply by movement, so stealth in chase only removes skill issue."
This is another redundant statement. if you take proper pathing you'll almost never be in LOS. How many maps are just 100% wide open with no obstacles? 0 literally 0 If that was the case you literally wouldnt be able to play as killer. Also yes, Hiding red stain helps but its not the same and being undetectable doesnt make up for a "skill issue" Red stain can still be very easily seen through and around obstacles even if they moon walk because its extremely bright and has a wide cone. While trying to mindgame with manipulation of your red stain you can very easily mindgame yourself and hinder your movement in the process. And if the survivor manages to break out of the Chase momentarily theyll have no heartbeat or indicator of where you are.
You act like survivors can see the killers aura 24/7 and im severely annoyed by you saying that running stealth perks just makes up for a "skill issue" with that logic i hope you only ever play perkless killers because youre essentially saying at that point that all perks are just used to remove skill issues…..
run gen perks because survivors are doing them too quick? must just be a skill issue since you cant put enough pressure without them.
Running chase perks? must be a skill issue because you cant finish a chase quick enough.
Running lightborne? must be a skill issue because you just cant help but stare at the light while being locked in an animation…. and you say i have flawed logic. Okay buddy, okay.

The full stealth build actually makes her playable to the point where it feels unfair.
Works mainly on soloQ and you need map where you can break LoS. If it was actually strong then Ghostface/Wraith would be even stronger than that.
Ive put a large amount of hours with this build… Don't make an assumption if you havent played the build lol. I literally had a game a few nights ago against a 4man ttv swf 3 of them were p100… 3 of them had syringes and the other had the agent… still got the 4k. In my personal experience and opinion, it is a strong build which is why i said any buff is welcome so long as they keep the stealth drones. and no map has posed an issue for me yet. i even have plenty of success on erie and auto haven.
Comparing true stealth killers to an undetectable build is ignorant and the difference between undetectable and full stealth killers is that while undetectable you can spend the whole chase at full speed without a red stain. Without a stain to read the killers positioning and movement it becomes VERY difficult to loop. Not to mention the info you can get on loop from her drones.
wraith is just a stupid comp because he can't even attack or grab while in stealth and with ghostface once you swing you are no longer in stealth. Not to mention you're going for Exposed with Ghostface. Youre not going to be trying to sneak up and grab or loop without exposed that often at all.

Expecting your team mates to put a minmum amount of effort into the game that involves picking a perk that is not outright detrimental to the team in this team game is not an unreasonable expectation. It's time that BHVR completly reconsidered their design of no mither and that a "challenge perk" should not exist.
Im sorry but this is stupid. Every game has something like this. There are still benefits and builds around no mither. Not to mention making survivors able to see eachothers perks will also effect adept challenges. Also tome challenges for randomized perks. Again, every single team based game has things implemented that some people may deem detrimental to their team. If youre that paranoid of getting a team mate with no mither consider finding friends or not playing the game at all.
-
As someone who mains merchant any buff is welcome. Ive come to learn that as long as her drones give undetectable i will have success. Trail, Devotion, Tinkerers, Plaything (or honestly any 4th perk) The full stealth build actually makes her playable to the point where it feels unfair.
It still sounds like merchants rework is still really far away. I dont think theres a date yet (correct me if im wrong) But trickster will be first so my guess will be 4/2- Kaneki —> Mid chapter, Trickster rework —> June/July FNAF—> Mid chapter, Skull merchant rework.

It's interesting as in the very first DBD trailer with claudette hiding in the basement from Trapper, that POV was used, so I'm confused as to why it never ended up in the game… Would add more of a claustrophobic feel to the game at least.
I also believe that they do that effect in the survivors tutorial. It's a neat POV but the information you get by being third person in a locker is too beneficial to just scrap for a simple pov change. It looks cool but would inevitably frustrate players

So would you be in favor of the immersion/making it harder for Survivor to see outside of the locker via 1st person perspective idea? With Head On being the old way to aim the stun?
I wouldnt be against it but I don't think its necessary. I think theyre fine the way they are in my opinion

The censorship is fine. Because you can be 18+ and still not really deal well with slurs.
The problem is more that the Chatfilter is just bad. Some Words go by but other normal words (or just character names) get censored. And this has nothing to do how strict the filter is, it is just badly implemented. Normal conversations are censored, but if you are a bit creative how to tell someone to end themselves, you will be fine.
@Topic:
Agreed. At the very least it should be able to disable the Chatfilter. I dont care if some random person on the internet insults me, but I do care about my normal texts ending up as a bunch of #s… And it would be totally fine to have the Chatfilter on as default and you have to go to the settings to disable it.
Slurs and hate speech are one thing but basic cussing is fine. The worst part is how you cant even say the term "killer" and so many other basic words lol im pretty sure the letter "S" is also blocked. It's just so silly
-
Agreed. I dont understand this. The game is rated M for Mature. No reason to have such crazy censorship when the games meant for adults.
-
I personally don't want them to add pennywise. I used to love the IT movies but after reading the book the disgusting and unhinged thing he wrote into the sewer part about the children is just awfully heinous. I can't support that franchise as a whole and lost a lot of respect for stephen king for that
-
Lockers shouldn't be buffed. Searching lockers are way too time consuming for killers. If you properly go into a locker without being close enough to the killer or leaving scratch marks near it, the odds of killers searching all the lockers in a vicinity is very unlikely unless your playing in low mmr. If lockers were to be buffed it would be too much of a detriment to the killer. If you want to prioritize anything in the game you can always design a build around it. Gens/Looping/Altruism and even lockers.
If youre smart about your locker use theyre still very good and useful

Honestly, I’m not going to rant at all or be mad because this does seem like a hard tactic to fix considering the style of the gameplay mechanics. However, the little meter or bar progression for when a killer is camping you is completely broken and useless. I mean the progression moves way to slow when a killer is in the radius and is obviously just sitting there looking at you. (Which might I add that when I get off the hook they are just going to tunnel me after I made it to second hook stage so there was no point to getting off the hook). But the other 90% of cases that I have seen which seems to be a thing that is plaguing my games at the moment is that every killer main knows exactly how far away to stand so the bar doesn’t move at all or they are constantly walking right by the hook patrolling on these indoor maps where I am literally unable to be saved. I mean it just feels like an extra slap in the face when not only the in-game mechanic to counter this doesn’t work it just makes me not want to play the game at all, and I mean it’s kind of inexcusable considering this has been as issue in the gameplay for years. Dunno that’s just my opinion though from a regular person just playing.
This is solely to prevent face camping. Theyre not going to stop proxy camping. It would never work. Killers will continue to learn the range they can hang out at to not fill that bar. They also don't want to punish the killers for simply walking by or doing a task nearby the hook. Camping will never be unavoidable or preventable. If someone's being camped, the best you can do is gen rush. If you get camped just move on to the next one.

I wasn't the one that ended an introductory response by saying all losses are simply skill issues and insinuating I'm part of the younger generation and spoilt.
And I'm not putting words in your mouth, it's why I was questioning what you said. I'm working off of the quote you seemingly posited, as exploiting systems is an ability one could leverage to overcome what would otherwise be considered losses, (curse yourself for not doing so).
Though speaking of putting words in mouths, I never said that the TOS are pro/con tunneling/camping/slugging. You're the one making the association between that when I was mainly using it as an example as to how your quote can be used in a malicious manner. I was also using it in reference to the survivor using cheats to pick themselves up, so you're twice off-the-mark.
You also probably don't play survivor much, if at all (or you didn't actually read the post), as you'd be able to gauge that my slugging proposal is still heavily in favor of the Killer. You never even touched on the anti-tunneling aspect which is much more volatile in terms of impact, seemingly focused on blind defense of slugging as a whole. So as far as a proper discussion, I doubt one would have been had in the first place.
I play both actually and i mostely play survivor lol ive been playing this game since 2017….. Also the cheating point was a total strawman and you know it. that ahd nothing to do with my point in the slightest. and you 100% were saying that TOS is pro/con tunneling because you wouldnt have brought it up in the first place einstein.
"We have a Terms of Service for a reason. I could try to hack the game or use cheats as a survivor to give myself the ability to pick myself up, but that isn't in accordance to the rules. And rules can be fair or unfair, well thought out or not, and changed. Get off your pontificating blinded high horse. Unless you're actually advocating to use cheats?"
- Cheating was never mentioned and has nothing to do with anything i said in the slightest. Hense it's a strawman
- Also mentioning this to a conversation about tunneling/slugging/camping is %100 implying that you thought the TOS protected against it.
- Obviously if you had basic comprehension skills i was saying that there are plenty of ways to counter tunneling/slugging/camping so instead of complaining and adovacting for unecessary changes that will likely lead to more changes you should learn these counters and get better at the game. Was i harsh? yes. This constant complaining about something that isnt and shouldnt be changed is ridiculous. Players will always find a way to exploit something and make the game as easy as possible for themselves. It's better to learn than to complain.
Crazy actually crazy response from you
I apologize for the double response for some reason i still wasn't seeing my first reply for an hour so I thought it bugged out and didn't post.

Why bring up TOS in the first place? It %100 was your intention to use the TOS as a reasoning to to go after Slugging/Camping/Tunneling in the first place so don'e even try to gaslight me because you realized what you aid was absolutley dumb.
You also seemingly cant understand the context between why i would insinuate a "skill issue" even though thats not a proper way to refer to that at all. Camping/Tunneling/Slugging is counterable. Instead of whining and trying to find ways to "fix" it learn the game and how to be better. Odds are, any changes that are implimented to "fix" these things will like lead to more issues, confusion, bugs, and balancing issues that just arent worth it.
Also you seem really upset by my quote
"All losses in this world are due to a lack of ability. If you want to curse someone, curse your own weakness"Thats just a fun quote from our next DLC Tokyo Ghoul that semi correlates to what i was stating.
Also I've played a lot of both killer and survivor and I primarily play survivor. I've been playing this game since 2017....
Maybe stay away from gaslighting and strawmans in your next reply. Okay?

That being said, thats probably easier said than done

It's not that bad of an idea, but kind of pointless (at least for PC) because of custom icon packs. Maybe a better idea would be a way to sort the perks based on functionality or even better a custom sorting option where you can have your favorite perks on your first page or so.
-
This…. Is horrible…. Im sorry, but in no world would this be viable. Also I don't think that Trapper/Pig/Wraith are that bad of killer. Especially pig. She's pretty strong if you know how to play her right. Theres plenty of tweaks they can do but changing the maps exclusively for a select few killers makes no sense.
It would also be way too complex especially with variating perks. This would lead to A LOT of bugs and oversights, as well as balancing issues.
It's creative, Ill give you that, but it think it's time to go back to the drawing board.

Yeah, like at some point you just admit "We've lost." All the other games of this genre at least had players who understood that, and didn't demand anything extra be given to them. If I was in a losing match on Friday The 13th, I'd just do as long a chase as I could, even if there was 10 minutes left on the clock and no realistic way of escaping.
And you're right. There's no skill in hiding. The killer just cannot physically get you... because he can't find you. That's why Ochido's video of "I juked Tru3" from back in the day was such a joke, because he hid for all of 5-10 seconds, on those old dark maps, when we all know survivors make zero sound at random times.
The devs have to realize that sometimes, and I mean sometimes, your audience does not know what's best for them. Most survivors on this game are ultra casual, and would hide forever if they could, because the killer doesn't have anything at base except the AFK crows to find them. But even the experienced survivors can take advantage of it. The devs need to push looping as the skillful thing. Don't get rid of stealth altogether. Survivors can have their Dance With Me, Quick & Quiet, Lucky Break, etc. But leaving it up to mere chance for the killer to find people, when they've just been hiding for 5 minutes, that's not fair/fun for the killer player. You've got to give the killer a "closing out the game" mechanic. Survivors have hatch for free and that's never questioned. Why can't killers have something?
At least someone gets it. Though i dont think hiding/slugging/tunneling/camping should be tweaked too much if at all. Theres a few changes id like, but theyre really not necessary to change (other than item cycling to avoid crows. thats annoying for everyone involved. killers and survivors.). As frustrating as these things can be they've been here forever and trying too hard to correct these "issues" will more than likely lead to more problems and balancing issues down the line. It definitely can suck sometimes, but at some point, in a match you just gotta get out for your own sanity.
It's always nice to have a development team that listens to its players. However, a game that listens to its players too much is just as bad if not worse than a game that doesn't listen at all.

Like, bro, you aren't my college professor, EVERYBODY knows what that means, and if I wanted to go there, "lol" isn't a word, yet you used it, showing your ignorance, at least by your morality, from what I am getting from you, thank you, have a wonderful rest of your day good sir.
What a pointless and still ignorant comment to make lol at least make some semblance of a coherent argument.
"That also is exactly what I said about the whole "ego" thing, I said the exact same thing you JUST said my guy. You say that wasn't the point yet just said practically the same thing I said, it's so painfully easy to comprehend mate."
This whole tangent you went on has 0 context and makes 0 sense. I said a lot at least state what part of my reply you're referring to with this lol. Maybe don't show any of this to your professor. They'd probably flunk you.

What are you on about? I didn't even respond to or quote you here. I didn't even read your posts until just now, lol. My comments were in response to another post that was made before you said anything, and I didn't criticize you or miscomprehend your point because I didn't read it.
Calm down, buddy.
Because youre criticizing me on one point then turning around and agreeing with it in response to someone else lol it's hypocritical. Im allowed to defend my stance when people want to twist my words and not even acknowledge or comprehend what i even said.
"Calm down" Is just a cop out for you to not acknowledge or respond to any point i made lol. You made your bed now lay in it instead of just saying "calm down". Im calm but ill continue to defend my stance when you want to leave out important details and context

I agree, if the game is lost and my one remaining teammate is just hiding, I'm not gonna extend it just for the heck of it.
The point of the game as surv is to avoid death and escape, if escape is no longer a realistic outcome, I'll die in chase or pushing a gen. There are limits to "but the point is to avoid death". I don't mean to seem like I'm condoning going next, I'm talking about like there's 4 gens still up and only two of us are left; a real "the game is effectively over" scenario.
And what if you avoid being found for an hour? You've lost anyway, wasted your own time, and gained nothing. Pointless.
And let's be honest, just immersing and trying not to be found may be the easiest thing to do in DbD, you're not even using any skill. There's no fun in it.
Crazy that this is what ive been saying the whole time yet you criticized me for it… The only part that people have an issue with is me saying that the survivor should have cut his losses and if the killer has an ego for wanting to slug for a 4k then a survivor trying to hide and stay alive for as long as possible is in the same boat. It's also pretty obvious that hiding is worse than slugging. At least someone is only slugged for 4 minutes before bleeding out. A survivor can hide indefinitely if the killer cant find them. Which everyone seems to be ignoring the fact that in the OP they state that the killers ego stalled the game by them slugging. Therefor they are accusing the killer of having an ego, not because of the EGC but by him slugging. Thats all my initial point was.
"So while you get the killers job is to kill, survivors job isn’t be in chase or offer yourself up, it’s to escape. Anyways long live stealth"
Yet here you say if escape isn't realistic you'll die in a chase and push gens. Ive said that so many times lol. Also ive stated that my comments arent just referring to the initial commenter its the slugging debate as a whole and i was criticizing what other people were saying on it. Maybe read all of my comments before coming to a judgement and i mean actually read. Not scan without taking in the information or find 1 or 2 points to grasp on.
4 gens with 2 survivors left and 1 of you being a few seconds away from bleeding out and the other is actively slugged, escapes not a realistic outcome in that case.
"but checks notes, seems like they were trying to stay alive and be a team player for a chance at the door since one other person was still alive."
Team player for a chance at the door? That was unrealistic. Its very clear it was a game of attrition until one of the was full dead. Now it sounds like neither one of them wanted the other one to die, but in that case it's best to let one bleed out and get hatch. It's very clearly hopeless and all youre doing is stalling and dragging the game along.
In the OP they stated "Me and my teammate were doing gens, but at extremely slow rate, so basically we were hiding from the killer almost the entire match."
You read that correctly? At that point it seems like theyre occasionally taping a gen for a handful of seconds at best before hiding. That doesnt exactly sound like doing generators.
"Take aggro, lead a chase and either die and move on while your team mate does gens or has a shot at hatch."
Is something that i stated in a previous comment. You literally say practically the same thing as to how you should handle an unwinnable situation.
You implied that people are comprehending my point yet it's painfully obvious that you yourself arent.

"In what i said, both of them are in the wrong and if the killer has an ego for not hooking the survivor and slugging because they want a win then the survivor is just as guilty of the same thing." What this implies is that you didn't think the killer has an ego, yet, if they were to, so would the survivor, would it not? Everybody and there aunt knows what that means mate, ain't got a reason to be nitpicking mate. Also, you NEVER stated that you didn't condone what the killer said, not once good sir. also sir, if you want to speak about grammatical errors, it is spelt solely.
"everyone's complaining about the killer but the only thing they did wrong was throw a fit."
That was in my literal first response to you lol.
""In what i said, both of them are in the wrong and if the killer has an ego for not hooking the survivor and slugging because they want a win then the survivor is just as guilty of the same thing." What this implies is that you didn't think the killer has an ego, yet, if they were to, so would the survivor, would it not?"
That's very obviously not the point I was making so don't misconstrue my words. I was saying that the killer doesn't have an ego for wanting to win and if he does have an ego for wanting to win then so does the survivor. That's so painfully easy to comprehend.
Theres also a major difference between making an ignorant double negative sentence that grammatically doesn't make sense from a spelling error clearly made from typing too fast lol. Good try though mate.
It's really not that heavy mate, it seems as if you took it a tad bit personal

it’s not that people don’t comprehend what you’re saying, it’s that you’re taking a situation that didn’t happen and implanting it into the topic, while simultaneously belittling people for not understanding. What you’re talking about is an entirely different topic not related to op’s question.
Everything I have stated is relevant and applies lol please tell me what I implanted

My guy, do not read the changes coming? Survivors aura will now be revealed to the killer's when its the last two when gens or nothing is being done.
It a bannable offense as in bvhr's rule that survivors ( the last 2) doing nothing is reportable which is 0 sense cause that is what the term surviving mean which is usually an unwinnable situation when its down to just 2.
Killers have abudances of perks to find survivors like good old spies and whispers can even work if they decide to use lockers. Yes killers should be punished for being greedy slugging third for fourth when the third willingly show themselves up to move on to the game.
Its like what you killers want? Last two hiding you complain but if third player show themselves you slug and look for fourth. A 3k is a win for me and I care not if the 4th get away oh well it aint the end of the world and am not getting 1million dollar prize. My viewers to me as a streamer is more important than 4k.
If it's an unwinnable situation there's %100 an issue when the survivors are doing nothing. I don't think their aura should be revealed. Do you really think thay just lounging around the map doing nothing is "surviving" you survive by escaping. By hiding and doing nothing you will never escape and if the killer can't find you the game will never end.
Don't be a hypocrite. You're saying if killers don't want to be stuck, unable to find the survivors they should preemptively use perks to help them in case that happens. Yet complain about slugging when there's plenty of perks to counter slugging.
If you don't personally go for the 4k that's fine there's nothing wrong with that but don't go after anyone else for it. You can't defend hiding while going after slugging. Two survivors hiding can be indefinitely theoretically. A survivor bleeds out in 4 minutes. There's definitely a difference between the two.

He ain't got no ego means he doesn't have any ego. Ain't got no is like… a colloquial way of saying doesn't have any. Also, the killer kinda did have an ego, exclaiming, "You're gonna get banned! How dare you! You're gonna get banned for holding this game hostage!" It just seems kinda weird to me how you say the killer doesn't have an ego yet they said they were gonna report them and get them banned for "holding the game hostage." Also, I'm not getting mad at the killer for slugging, everybody does eventually, though it isn't healthy for the game, it happens, it's just weird the killer is getting mad saying, "You're getting banned for holding hostage." even though they had slugged and could've ended the game earlier. They were complaining the game was too long and was held hostage when they could've just hooked the survivor. Also X3, I didn't ignore everything you said, I never said that it's bad for him trying to get a 4k, however, he was complaining whilst slugging, like, c'mon man, you can't complain WHILE slugging, if you wanted the game to end earlier, he should've just hooked, that's all mate.
You really do lack basic comprehension skills… When did i say the killer didnt have an ego? "aint got no" is a double negative. I get what you were saying by it. Just awful grammar thats kind of a pet peeve of mine. sorry. Again my point is the survivor was doing the same thing essentially as the killer slugging. Complaining about slugging for a 4k is just stupid. How is a survivor desperately hiing for an escape any different from a killer desperately slugging for the 4k. It's a survivors job to escape and a killers job to kill all of the survivors. For the millionth time my point was to not go after the killer when the survivor is doing the equivocal on the survivor side. Neither are wrong and neither are right. I also stated multiple times that i dont condone what the killer said end game. im speaking Soley on the actions during the game.
Im not fully defending the killer. Just saying that theres no reason to support and defend the survivor.

Crazy? Mate, all I'm saying is that he ain't got no ego, it's not his fault the killer decided to slug, why should HE have to let himself get caught? That's stupidity, you saying his ego refusing him to get caught and make the game last forever isn't his fault, he was simply surviving. Also, they weren't complaining, they were just saying that he could've just hooked instead of leaving someone slugged on the floor, which could've ended the game earlier. You said that the killer could've ended the game earlier by hooking and the survivor could've ended the game earlier by doing gens, however they legit said they were, but they were, it was progressing slowly because there was only TWO of them. He said that because the gens were very slow, so that they were basically hiding. Also, from what it seemed, it seemed more like the killer was complaining, yapping about how they were gonna get banned and that they were saying the killer could've prevented it if they hooked instead of slugging.
It's really not that heavy mate, it seems as if you took it a tad bit personal, though it isn't, I'm just saying that what I think of your opinions doesn't seem right to me, yet, others may agree.
Weird response. Nothings personal about it. Im just stating my thoughts on it. That's it lol. You questioned my stance and i defended it. Youre also ignoring pretty much everything i stated….
"That's stupidity, youre saying his ego refusing him to get caught and make the game last forever" All i was saying that if the killer has an ego for wanting to 4k for the win then the survivor has an ego for hiding to survive. Its the same concept on opposite sides. Not hard to grasp that. Thats the only point i was trying to make. People are being too harsh on the killer for just wanting to win but not holding the survivor to the same standard.
"You said that the killer could've ended the game earlier by hooking and the survivor could've ended the game earlier by doing gens, however they legit said they were, but they were, it was progressing slowly because there was only TWO of them. He said that because the gens were very slow, so that they were basically hiding." Yes, but if you had actually took in what i was saying you would be able to understand the point i was making. If there's 2 people left and 1 is constantly slugged with 4 gens it's a lost game and everyone knows it. There's a point when you should cut your loses and just get out. Nothing is going to happen by just crouching around tapping a gen for a few seconds then hiding when you hear the heartbeat. Especially when you have a team mate alive. Take aggro, lead a chase and either die and move on while your team mate does gens or has a shot at hatch. Is it really that worth it to sit there and frustrate yourself hiding and waiting just for a chance at hatch?
All i was stating is that the survivor in this situation isnt much better than the killer in the aspect of what happened in game and i dint like his initial "ego" comment he made because it was stupid and it's more stupid that people seem to think that the killer had an ego for playing for the win. It's just silly.
(Ps saying "He aint got no ego" is you basically agreeing with me by saying he did have an ego lol)
-
It's decent and has it's use, but it suffers from same fate as most of the perks in the game, which is that it is extremely situational. I think it works well when you have a killer that doesnt camp and you have a gen near ready by hooked survivor. chances are the killer wont go back to the gen thinking that the gen wont be touched until the unhook happens so it could easily get you to finish that gen then get the unhook without the killer suspecting a thing. Ive done this a few times. Other than that i havent used it for many other scenarios. Also decent when you go to unhook and the killer notices you or starts going back to hook and you can runaway after pausing the timer.
-
This would be cool but it's unrealistic. Edgar Allen Poe is a public domain. The issue with that is there has been many works derived from that, like disney, etc. If behavior were to accidentally make anything similar to or referencing anything from the disney's/anyone elses stories of him they could potentially sue behavior over it. It's not entirely impossible but there would have to be a lot of work to make it happen.
Also could be wrong on this and if i am please let me know how.

Apologies but his ego refused himself to get caught and made the game last forever? The killer kept slugging him, there is a reason why there is a healing mechanic, so you can heal teammates if they are injured or, for example, in the dying state, the purpose of the game is to not get caught so why would he allow himself to get caught? Maybe it's just me but that seems rather ridiculous good sir and did you not hear them say they were doing gens, progressing, though at an incredibly slow rate because there was only them and one other. They never said it was the Killer's fault that their teammate DC'd either. It may seem hypocritical and that they are "just as petty with just as large of an ego as the killer" in Narnia, however, this is planet Earth mate. @rainykee don't worry, you're good, the killer was just pissing and moaning, you won't get banned for it, keep on playing
More hypocrisy. Isn't it the killers duty to kill all 4 survivors no matter what? everyone's complaining about the killer but the only thing they did wrong was throw a fit. In what i said, both of them are in the wrong and if the killer has an ego for not hooking the survivor and slugging because they want a win then the survivor is just as guilty of the same thing. Also, the survivors "purpose" Is not to hide. It is to escape. Hiding may be necessary but nothing is going to change or happen if youre just hiding and what i meant with the doing gens thing is to commit to it. Not hide the moment you hear a heartbeat. Take the Aggro and try to loop/distract the killer while your teamates do gens. We can have different opinions on this, but the survivor is just as guilty of what they are complaining about.
again. Both things can be true. The survivor hiding made the game last way longer than necessary just as much as the killer refusing to hook. Two wrongs don't make a right. Im not siding with either of them.
Also looking at what everyones saying is crazy… What buggy bug said
"its sad how soon survivors doing their job of surviving will be punished and yet killers can always slug for 4k instead of hooking third and not be punished."
In what way are the survivors "punished" for surviving? Are you not asking to punish killers for doing their job killing? it's their job to kill all of the survivors no matter what… Crazy.
-
I mean…. You have no reason to complain in my opinion. I get it, it can be frustrating, but it's not the killers fault your teammate DC'd. You also say that his ego kept the match going? thats a little hypocritical because your ego refused to let yourself get caught and make the game last forever. No one should be punished for it and there is no right side. Killer could have made it easier and quicker by deciding to hook the third when he couldnt find you and you could have made the game easier and quicker by deciding to just do gens, attempt to save, ETC until you were caught instead of hiding, just to get it over with and move onto the next one. Youre just as petty with just as large of an ego as the killer.
I get where youre coming from, but theres times when you just need to accept the loss and move onto to the next one, rather then putting yourself through the frustration. This goes for the killer in your situation as well
