She's pretty boring to play against, but I think most killers since 2019 have been pretty awful. She's alright to play as, though.
-
Just bumping to his cause nobody has ever explained why this suddenly appeared in the game. It's happening all the time now.

Thats only joke or guess but if they are right they are cheating becuase only cheaters can see who is on other side unless you are watching streamer and see yourself in his lobby.
Yes, I was kinda guessing they were cheating. Usually I wouldn't condone such a thing, but if it saves me from playing against a ghoul, I'm okay with that. 😂
-
Sometimes in my pre-game lobbies, a survivor will say 'Skip this lobby, it's a ghoul' and at this point, I don't even care where they got this information, I'm just happy they shared it.
Nobody has time for Ghoul matches, especially in solo. I would skip every single Ghoul game and trade them in for a Blight. They're just miserable to go against.
-
Probably dash slop knowing Behaviour. I really hope they do him justice though.
-
Yeah, I tried to mention to the team that the current system punishes survivors when killers cheat, but didn't get a reply. I get the AI killer bots quite often. They've recently rebranded too, so they know they're not going anywhere, and Behaviour are likely not going to stop them.
-
Rancor. I can go a whole match and not take a hook, be productive, do gens, great chases. Then I'm exposed and instantly out of the match if I'm caught. What kind of BS is that?
-
Ghoul. I still can't believe that mess was released to live servers.
-
They're going to delete your post. Every time someone brings this up, they delete it. I don't know their intentions, but it feels like they don't want us to discuss it. It's a major problem.

alright i have a stupid opinion, is Franklins that good of a perk, ive seen so many say its strong, but i dont see it being better then other M1 perks like STBFL or Sloppy Butcher.
I think it used to be, or at least I sometimes used it, back when it reduced charges. Not so much now though.

Ghoul just makes me miserable
Agreed. If I was tasked with designing the most brain-dead killer who can 4k with minimal effort, I'd design Ghoul. It's so mind-numbingly boring that I'm surprised it made it to the live servers.
-
I'd say Ghoul is worse. Minimum effort killer for maximum impact. Although Krasue is definitely a close second.
-
I don't mind survivors giving up. I wouldn't want anyone to play a match they don't want to play. My main issue is teaming! I can't express how much teaming with the killer pisses me off.
-
I'm in two minds. I think Jason is a fantastic character, and in the right hands, I'm sure they could make him unique. My worry with Behaviour is that they make him a dash killer. I'm already bored to death of the reworked Myers; we don't need a Myers in a hockey mask, too.
-
You can tunnel whoever you want, but I'd probably not tunnel them personally. Sounds like they want your attention. They've probably got DS and DH, so they want you to waste your time chasing them. I'd ignore them for a bit.

How AI solved it? I tried it several times with ChatGPT and Grok and it can't solve it at all. It only says about some pattern, but yeah it says that result is Jason but how?
I don't know if I'm allowed to share the findings on here, cause I guess it's a spoiler. But I can send it to you if you like?

That doesn't really say much, tbh.
AI can make mistakes. You must always personally verify whatever answer it gives you.
Oh no, I totally agree. I seen it on Reddit, then i checked for myself. It's undeniably Jason. There's absolutely no doubt about it. I kinda wish I hadn't seen the post tbh.

If we don't solve this, then I hope BHVR will show us the form of solution to this, 'cause I'm curious
AI solved it already. It's Jason.
-
It's the only online game where my playstyle is determined by the ping check at the start of every match. Hit validation is shocking in DBD, but I can't see them doing anything about it. It's become the norm.

It makes hitting skill checks more consistent for one thing. There are almost certainly other benefits with Powers and Perks but I can't confidently say what. I do remember that some drops wouldn't trigger Balanced Landing except at certain frame rates, though that may have been patched by now.
Oh, that's crazy. I use hyperfocus quite a lot. I used to use it with stakeout, but I soon learned I didn't actually need it to hit the skill checks (or at least 90% of them). I play 120fps on a gaming laptop.. I just thought I was awesome. 😂
-
Does having a higher FPS give you much of an advantage?
-
I agree. Wait times are not usually too long here, but I go through maybe 3-4 killers before one decides they'll take us on. I wouldn't even mind if I played SWF, but I'm usually in solo or a duo. They dodge at the slightest inconvenience. Toolbox, flashlight, etc.

Ive never seen a round where a survivor was cheating and the rest didnt leave the gates because of it. Half the time people dont even know theres a cheater till the killer calls them out in the end game chat. So i highly doubt it works like that. Its more of a courtesy thing like you don't feel like escaping for free due to the other players cheats so you stay to make it up to the killer player - by choice. But for some reason they were convinced its mandatory and reportable.
The thing is, sometimes killers will try to convince you that a person was cheating, just because they lost.
I was playing with my partner (sitting next to me) and four of us escaped. Straight away the streamer said my partner and one of the solo survivors were cheating in a duo. I explained I was a duo and could see his screen. He then accused me, my partner, and the solo player of cheating. I just laughed it off because I knew he was doing this to save face in his chat.

I've just been watching Otz play and honestly, you'd think something terrible had happened to a love one, the way he reacted after losing a match. I've never seen anything so dramatic.
I genuinely didn't think people took the game that serious. When I play, I'm not really bothered about getting out of the trial or getting a 4k, I just want to have fun and maybe cause a bit of mayhem.
I don't tend to watch Otz btw, so maybe it was all for the audience, I don't know..
-
I can't believe the mods or Devs haven't actually acknowledged what's happening in Wekser games. 🤯

@TicTac said:
Which region is that? Maybe you can switch to another server, where you still have a decent ping.
I dont have any experience with public lobbis, but i played KYF with people around the world. Its harder as survivor, but better than bots.
I'm in the UK so I think my nearest server is London. I might try VPN to somewhere else, see if it makes a change. Thank you.
-
I wouldn't use Myers as an example. He's a terrible rework. I've always assumed it's because he's tiny and nobody can see him around high loops. I think that's fair tbh.

Mastermind has been quite common killer for me to face 1v4. See him more often than I see Blights even before the change.
It must be a server thing or an MMR thing. Blight, nurse, Ghoul are the main killers I face, then on the very rare occasion I'll get Pig, Wraith and Wesker. I'm in the UK so I'm guessing EU servers? Where are you?
-
I think it's strange that in regular game mode, we see Wesker maybe once a week. Now because he's full of bugs and exploits, we see him every other match. Behaviour, is this not suspicious to you guys at all?
-
Yeah, add them to 2v8, but remove them from 1v4. They're the least interactive killer in the game and extremely boring to vs.
-
Yeah same. Only when I hit back, I was running across the landscape as if I'd escaped. This update is bad..
-
Why hasn't he been kill switched yet? I've just played against him twice and they're just exploiting bugs! It's a joke.

Okay. 🙂

can be minutes when they crawled in some corner. Also why are they allowed to leave then? They played bad and now they don't have to sit it out? what i am saying i find it weird that i am forced to hook bots, while the survs can go next
MMR in this game is almost none existent. I've been playing since 2019 and I still to this day get new players in my lobby, so "playing bad" is probably not right, you were just better than them/had more hours in the game.
A by-product of slugging is abandoning. If you don't want them to abandon, don't slug. Not the hardest concept to wrap your head around.
-
You've forced survivors in to a no win situation and you're complaining that you have to now hook those survivors to get the win? What is it, an additional 30 seconds?

oh ok ignore me then. I think its a nice sound but I also think ghoul and plague are satisfying. I was worried I was bugging peoples games for second
Do you use that head? I'm having difficulty understanding how anyone could think that sound is pleasant? Maybe we're hearing different sounds?
-
Yes! I think it should also tell other survivors when someone is exposed. If I'm the obsession and I know the killer has friends til the end, I'll usually jump in to a locker and people have questioned why. It's silly that this information isn't given to other players.
Even in end game, if I'm exposed and the team expects me to go for the unhook, I have no way of explaining why I can't, I just look like a jerk. The HUD could do so much more to help solo survivors.

The new Rift skin and yes it gives me a massive headache
Oh really? Maybe they're gonna need to take a look at that audio. If it's affecting more than one of us, it's likely affecting many.

It's the new Rift skin, yeah, specifically the head. You're not the first person I've heard say it's bothered them. The skin is cool but listening to that sound is not my favorite either.
Oh no. I've never in my life felt physically sick as a result of audio before. Guess I'll be skipping those matches moving forward.
I genuinely thought it was a bug or something. Who on earth thought that was a good idea?
-
@Rokku_Rorru said:
Forgive my ignorance, but how does the sound make you feel sick?
Well I didn't think it was possible until that match.. 😂
-
Are you kidding? Remember the killers pulling their hair out when it was only 5 seconds. The drama of it would be fun to watch though.
-
I get about 2-3 slugging Billy's/Blights every time I play. Their whole build is centered around slugging with no intention of hooking. I'm fine, I'll abandon after two downs in solo queue (nobody has time for that in solo), but if this becomes the norm, the Devs will be forced to introduce anti-slugging, and then killer mains will cry because they brought it on themselves.

So fire up speeds up what?
- Increases the Action speeds for the following interactions by a stack-able 4/5/6 % per Token, up to a maximum of 20/25/30 %:
- Picking up and dropping Survivors.
- breaking pallets and walls and vaulting
- kicking gen
Survivors objective is to survive and do gens, killers is win chases and hook or kill survivors.
This perk works more in late game and its not winning chases that fast as fast track reduces gen time, fire up isnt even top tier perk which cant be said about fast track before its last nerf.
I see your logic but you comparing car vs bike here (in terms of exsample both speed up your travel speed from just walking or running), thats how accurate your exsample is here.
My point originally was that neither side should be punished for doing their objectives. Fast Track and Fire Up both punish (or punished in the case of Fast Track) the other side just for doing their objectives. I'm not and never have been a Fast Track user, so I don't care about the perk. It's the activation of the perk and the double standards that bother me.

this guys just compared fast track to fire up LMAO I just can’t with the community of this game deadass
Fast Track speeds up a survivor's objective, and Fire Up speeds up a killer's objective. What exactly are you missing?
-
I've seen it myself and thought it was probably a "tech." The game is far too inconsistent to know what's actually intended, what is a by-product of sloppy coding, and what is cheating.

Of course you're allowed to feel what you feel, but there's so much nuance lost here. "Punishment" is very vague.
Imo, as long as a perk has realistic counterplay I'm personally okay with it activating upon the other side completing part of their objective.
How do we counter fire up or coup?

Deadlock is 4x25 seconds, fast track is at max 18% of gen progress pernamently which is 16,2 seconds x4 which is less but its pernament progress meaning nothing will put it back and only thing that did that before and needed nerfs was BNP which gives now 10% so fast track on all survivors gives then all togeather 64,8 seconds of pernament progress on gen thats more then 66% of one gen and combining it with BNP each is 25,2 x4 which is 100,8 seconds pernament progress which is like 1 minute and 40,8 seconds so thats not small time and its pernament.
Bare in mind that deadlock doesnt effect all survivors just the ones that are on most progressed gen right after other gen was done but this pernament progress effects killer a lot especialy the more he hooks the worse his fates gets because of single perks.
I had teams like this where fast track and toolbox with BNP of each survivor was common thing and these games were one of fastest in my life around 5-6 minutes even when I played good without huge mistakes so it changes the game alot only cheaters made my games faster.
Not to mention deadlock bloks that gen but other perks cant damage it.
For record pain res causes 20% damage 4 times per unique hook, its 18 seconds of gen damage per stack and it makes the killer go out of his way and spread hooks so even when its very strong perk it actualy pushes killer to play more nice and healty to earn this perks rewards. But fast track gave survivors passively stacks when killer hooked someone which is against this healthy playstyle of spreading hooks everyone wants to have instead of tunnel vision and on top survivor doesnt get 18% of gen progress but 18% of pernament gen progress so its makes that gen take less time to do even when its regressed to 0%.
Healthy perk indeed.
For me it's not what the perks do, but the double standard. Neither side should be punished for doing their objectives.

That's not true.
There's like seven hundred rules for survivors have to play and anybody who doesn't follow the killer rulebook for survivors deserves to be griefed, BMed, and abused, in match and out.
But we're not talking about these silly made-up rulebooks, we're talking about the logic the devs use to make or edit a perk. I don't think either side should be punished for doing their objectives, but they are.
-
Absolutely! It seems like one rule for survivors and another for killers. Devs need to either equalize the playing field or admit that things aren't about what's fair, but rather which side complains more.
