When freddy was fun? When he had to wait 7 seconds before hitting a survivor? Or when survivors could wake up mid chase by using self care? Or when he was given snares and all they did was make the survivors screams cause the slow is worse then clown's? Or when he had add-ons that slowed down the game and his only tactics was to bore survivors that they will give up? Or when he uses pallets that are useless against survivors that have half a brain cell and can remember where the real pallets are? He us just a boring killer and nothing will change it
-
Favorite:
huntress - feels good to land hatchets
Pig - she just feels good: her weapon is small and doesn't obscure your screen, she has stealth and game slowdown that you can utilize, her mori is fast ans efficient so she is just great to use
Least:
Shape, hag, trapper:
They all need to so something before becoming a threat and it feels boring, i want to chase and hit survivors asap
-
Freddy was never fun, plus he will not get cosmetics cause the license holders are not willing to cooperate with bhvr anymore

There is so much perks needs to make you m1 and they are not exposed perks. Nurse will lose those perks too. Still this does not looks fair to me.
Starstruck is only problematic perk on her. I'd change this perk instead nerf her with this way.
https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/3006132#Comment_3006132
She can not catch you with m1 chase, she needs to blink. And if blink hits turns to special, then so much perks will die for her. Making blink hits special attack does not look good solution to me.
Perk such as surge or leave the best for last, nurses definitely love using that top tier perks on her. Damn, how can i forget about hysteria, or third seal. Best perks in the game work regardless of anything such as pop, ruin, corrupt, and nurse only needs tracking perks

then you just have no idea and don't understand what it's about
How gate regression would help you survive in any way? Your are not the first one posting the exact same idea pretending to be a surv main. EGC was introduced to force survivors out, to prevent holding killers hostage, not to give killers free pressure. 99% gates is a valid strat just like camping and tunneling. Deal with it
-
Huntress lullaby should become a scourge hook with tokens only adding when you hook them on scourge hooks. Maybe also lower penalty a bit.
Bloodhound should highlight the aura of sprinting survivors who are suffering from hemorrhage outside of chase every now and then

I am so confused bro- why are you dying if a gate is 99%? Why would you want it to regress and drop down to 75% after they 99ed it?
Probably a killer main. But if he is really a surv player he is just bad and blames everything but himself for him dying
-
It's a great perk. You just cant see it's potential. No blood and 75% less noise on Ace makes him completely quiet. Plus it puts pressure on killer making it impossible to slug so they can't snowball. And it is particularly good against the Twins
-
Thanks goodness. Maybe I'll get a reliable teammate instead of yet another braindead kate. Kates are by far the most useless and dumb. They might even outdumb notorious megheads.
-
Otzdarva is probably the most overrated dbd content creator. He tries to be "chill" and "wholesome" but his mask falls as soon as he faces average skill survivors and even more so when someone taunts him. He becomes riled up but desperately tries to save his "wholesome" demeanor. Compared with streamers like zubat or umbra his hypocrisy is really showing. And i don't even want to talk about his obnoxious fanbase which consists of either kids or toxic manchildren. They are idolizing him and everything he says. Its as bad as Twitter stan culture.
-
I lost all my in-game progress in 2017 when my first account was stolen and then all my event cosmetics were taken away, while i have been playing the game since first free weekends(it was nurse chapter release) and i can't be more happier to at least have my event skins back. To be fair, you and your friends know you've earned them and why would you care for anything else
-
I always look at the survivor charms when deciding if I'm to give them the hatch

You're HIGHLY underestimating oblivious and stealth play.
I'm a pig main, and i know how to play a stealth based killer, the problem with oblivious is that it is shown in the survivor ui or ToT highlights the generator. You are not stealthy if the survivors know you have no terror radius
-

In my own experience ToT will get you suprise hits pretty often, and just because it is PH's perk doesn't mean it is meant for him, I have seen the perk work very well on legion.
Deathbound has let me know where multiple suvivors are, even if I dont go there the info is usefull. I have gotten suprise hits off the oblivious healer, and the perk will force survivors to stick together when it was better to split up.
Maybe if survivors don't have headphones or eyes it may give you some hits. Nearly every killer breathes, screeches, stompes, growls, or has other audio clues that are easy to hear without terror radius. So oblivious is a lackluster mechanic that works only at lower/mid tier of play

Trails of torment and deathbound arent that bad, especially deathbound. It might not be as good as a nurses calling but is certainly better than monstrous shrine.
Imo Wraith has the worst perks. Predator is actually worse than using no perks, and the other two are almost useless.
I don't agree at all, trail of torment obly works for 15 seconds and gives a visual notification to survivors everytime it's used. Deathbound is basically a bm. They healed far from you and you can't do anything to prevent them because they are already healthy.
Shadowborn is really good on hyper aggressive killers like the nurse or the huntress. Sloppy and bloodhound can be a decent tracking tools and predator is just a QoL perk
-
I really like dwight, he is so adorable, especially his cute little grunt when you put a RBT on him. I remember I've put all 5 RBTs on one Dwight just to hear it(I've also let him escape afterwards).
I also like David due to him being an aggressive altruist according to his lore and perk descriptions and that's pretty much my playstyle.
Laurie is my favorite female survivor, i mean, she is iconic final girl and you can think whatever you what about het perks, but she is not afraid of the killer and ready to give them a fight anytime.
And last but but not the least: Claudette. Her style is exquisite, if you want to shine she is your choice. Her rift golden dress and her "traveling healer" head looks so well together she basically shines brighter than the gods
-
Ash is trash. His perks are useless to say the least.
As a killer i would say pyramid head has the worst killer perks, even monstrous shrine is better than 3 of them combined.
-
Any means necessary. I had a blast using it so it remained in my loadout
I also use hangman's trick from time to time after it's rework, but my stable build for killer is: mad grit, agitation, iron grasp, bbq/pop/corrupt intervention.
-
Adam. He has to pay for the chaos the game was turned into the moment deliverance was brought to the fog.
-
Laurie. Iconic final girl

Any survivor on any hook

No. You just get a boost in benevolent emblem for every saved survivor, even if it wasn't you the one who saved them

Idk, ask his boyfriend Dwight ...

from this part of your FIRST (OP) post here: "So i thought that implementation of "killer avoid" system might lower the amount of frustration. Let me explain: you will be able to avoid killer and you will not be matched with them. For example: you don't enjoy slugg-involving Oni's playstyle, so you avoid him as a killer and he will not appear in you games until you remove him from your list. Also time restriction is likely to be added to prevent permanent avoidance of certain killers for them not to have endless lobby simulator."
7th and 8th word is "killer avoid" thus we are still talking about both of them when I responded. guess you don't have as good of a memory as the written word.
Great mental gymnastics! I would say you are on Olympics mental gymnastics champion level! Just so you know, the part that you have quoted isn't the end of my post. There is a continuation and i highly recommend you to read it.
you responded to the comment where i mention ONLY "map avoids" screaming about "killer avoids". At least read full post before commenting something.

how will letting people say i won't play against clown help the clown main get out of waiting for a lobby??? it WONT.
Are you deprived of the eyes or suffering from severe case of dyslexia? How did you manage to see "avoid killer" in "avoid maps"?
-
Ok. I got it. You don't like waiting in the lobby as a killer but enjoy games where survivors kill themselves on the first hook and you get minuscule amount of BPs and lose pip. But what about the second part of my suggestion? Why no one is saying anything about "avoiding maps" this will benefit both sides.
-
@Fibijean said:
I doubt it will lower the frustration for the killers that never get matches because their favourite character happens not to be popular with survivors.
I addressed this particular issue with suggestions of adding the time restriction on the "killer avoids" so you can't permanently avoid one killer

Because you made a point about rushing gens to against poor killers to "not feed their kills" when often times it does just that.
First of all, i wasn't me who mentioned doing gens.
Secondly, it's the most efficient way to play, better finish all gens before survivors were hooked twice. Even if killer has noed it's easier to find one lit totem than 5 dull.
-
@Steve0333 said:
https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/1125723#Comment_1125723
But if you are doing gens too quickly when the killer is doing poorly then you are potentially feeding their ability to kill other people because there is a good chance they have NOED.
What's the point bringing up noed if you have created discussion about BPS? If you want to ask about noed just create another thread dedicated solely for noed discussion

That's just my most recent screenshot.
Anecdotal evidence? Have you not seen the rest of the forums posting their own evidence of the terrible matchmaking?
Maybe you want more screen shots from me though. Okay. I can oblige:

https://us.v-cdn.net/6030815/uploads/901/FTP98V3BVT1R.png
And before you go "Oh, that's only a couple more screenshots", well, I've only played 6 or 7, maybe 8 matches of DBD in 2020. Only two of those matches was against a red rank killer -- and those two matches was literally the same Huntress player back to back.
For each you screenshot i can provide mine. I hope you understand that matchmaking problem may appear due to lack of players in your region.

Not like killer rank matters with matchmaking like this.
https://us.v-cdn.net/6030815/uploads/784/TEVOME5TLAMR.png
May as well just paint every other color that's not beige with a red coat of paint if you're playing killer.
And then paint beige ranks with purple.
You should stop posting this same screenshot under every post even slightly connected with machmaking. You understand that you are literally cherry picking. By using anecdotal evidence you don't prove anything. You just show your sheer ignorance.
-
I'm playing as a mad grit, agitation, iron grasp, corrupt intervention drill pig in the red ranks. I couldn't care less for the ruin change. To be honest, i stopped caring after the first thousand of hours spent in this game.

Doctor is getting huge nerfs and slight buffs. Survivors will experience alot less madness overall. Most importantly doctor is losing his treatment grabbing.
He was the only killer that could grab people that do the easy unhooking fakeouts and other grabs since dedicated servers ruined grabbing. Losing his grabs and passive terror us a huge nerf to a weak killer
Oh yeah and they are removing his exhaustion add-ons in favor of a skillcheck gimmick. Guess will be back to survivors unhooking right in doctor's face and with no reprecussions using DS and BT
If you ever played doc, you would know that grab was removed long ago. As usual, the most loud are the ones that don't even play the character.

All survivors are unique in that some may be able to have invisibility powers (Claudette, Adam, Tapp, Jake, Nancy, Kate, Bill), and some are quiet (Quentin, Ace, Dwight, Nea, Meg, Yui). While some are loud or can't blend in (Jeff, Ash, Jane, Laurie, Feng, Steve, David).
You can hear meg's grunts of pain on the other side of the map. Nancy and Kate have 0 chances to blend with anything.

Claudette: “And I oop.”
Laurie: “She’s the boogeyman.”
Feng: “You mad?”
Kate: “Y’all, really?”
Jane: “Are we a joke to you?”
Yui: “That’s it, I’m getting my bike.”
Honestly, Meg is the second ugliest female Survivor in the game. Just above Nea but right below Laurie. I’m not saying she is ugly, just not the prettiest compared to the others. She’s pretty average. Meg and Nea are both outshined by all the other girls, and I think that’s just a side effect of Behaviour’s models getting better with each chapter.
Laurie is bae.
-
Laurie, no doubt she will be the first one to kill if given an opportunity.

Perks:
- nerfed shadowborn (twice)
- nerfed spies from the shadows
- nerfed bloodhound
- nerfed No one escapes death (twice)
- nerfed Play with your food
- nerfed Save the best for last
- nerfed unrelenting
- nerfed thrill of the hunt
- nerfed iron grasp (twice)
- nerfed brutal strength
- nerfed deerstalker
- nerfed a nurse's calling
- nerfed franklin's demise
- nerfed sloppy butcher
- nerfed tinkerer
- nerfed remember me
- nerfed enduring
Also: resilience, adrenaline nor dead hard never got nerfed. Unless you can find me patchnotes which directly say so. Adreanline has been infact only buffed, while changed deadhard speed curve, which is not a nerf.. But if you disagree find me patchnotes which will say how they been nerfed..
Also in what way Yui's pallet perk been nerfed? if you are talking changes in PTB, i can add A LOT longer list of killer perk nerfs, if we take PTB changes into consideration. You added 4 perks to your list that has never been nerfed lmao
Shadowborn made you vulnerable to flashlights, sloppy gave only hemorrhage effect, noed was active only teo minutes and didn't gave you oneshots on level 1 and 2, spies was triggered even by killer.
STBFL and unrelenting combined gave you unfair advantage so their nerfs was a matter of time.
Tinkerer was reworked because it was useless with most addons.
Brutal strength was adjusted due to pallet breaking speed buff.
And your list has only one more perk. And i haven't named all nerf

Name every nerfed survivor perk. I will list nerfed killer perks. I will guarantee my list will be double of yours
Leader, selfcare, empathy, saboteur, balanced landing, dead hard, we gonna live forever, OoO, decisive strike, borrowed time, we'll make it, mettle of man, sprint burst, adrenalin, resilience, Yui's pallet perk(forgot its name).
I'll wait for your list.

Playing killer isn't fun, and I get the feeling the devs don't WANT it to be fun. I mean you always see Peanits talking about how important it is for survivors to have fun so that's why killers are always nerfed. So why doesn't that same logic apply to killer?
Yeah, right, BHVR hates killers. They are definitely the unloved child of dbd. You sound like someone who has played less than 2 months and thinks that he knows the game. I bet you have never faced double pallets, pallet vacuum, old superlong loops, pallet heaven, old selfcare, old flashlights, no bloodlust, no windowblocker, old windows vaulting(both bs survivors fast vaults and superlong killer vaulting), being unable to kick a gen, instant gen with BNP, sabotage meta, ruin not being a thing, BL and sprint burst abuse(due to exhaustion not being a thing as well as ruin) and many more bs things survivors had. You must be thankful to the devs, but instead you are whining here.
-
I hope everyone remembers all those "I'm quitting this game" killer's rants only because friend list was announced. They saw this little QoF change as an ultimate survivor buff that will grant swf win every match.
-
As a survivor, I smash my space button way to early sometimes and that results into me jumping it a locker instead of vaulting the window.
-

I have a spirit main friend who has enough to play with prayer beads every match, and I can bring an ebony mori every match as LF. These things aren’t rare.
Trying to argue with an entitled spirit main? Those "things" has no common sense whatsoever. Remember, they are the ones saying spirit is all about reading survivors, but when someone suggests removing the collision... oh boy, you better get ready for the pile of ######### they gonna throw at you
