Yeah, it's because playing survivor is easy compared to playing killer. It's less stressful when it's easier
-
you deserved what you got, there would be no need to slug if you didn't abuse that perk
-
How to loop, to not hide in a corner because of the tr, to not waste good/god pallets, how to prevent 3 genning. Mostly the basics like that.
-
Detective's Hunch with a map makes cleansing the totems so easy. If it's such a problem for you then bring Detective's hunch and a map

No

From they way you're describing it, it could be BBQ and Chili. Knowing where you are after hooking someone sounds exactly like BBQ and Chili, and is common on Huntress builds
-
@OniWantsYourMacaroni said:
Reworking huntress hatchet hitboxes would also require reworking survivor hitboxes which just won't happen considering how much work this would be
so you're saying the devs won't fix something that needs to be fixed because it requires effort? Sounds exactly like them to me.

@Temporary_Solutions said:
Survivors should not get 60 seconds of invincibility because they have a funny perk, all they have to do is make it so it only activates if you are in the killers terror radius
that won't work with killers with insidious, wraith, tier 1 Myers, Ghost face while cloaked, or pig

Totally against it

Everyone blames bhvr at the moment, but you know what is more important than this camp situation?
making some improvements to the public build since the test build
they intentionally released an unfinished chapter and added a giant amount of bugs with it: emblem bugs, hillbilly randomly overheats, you literally can't play victor if you get stuck, survivors getting hit through lockers with victor, animations are bugged, no progression bar on healing, legion's speed, killer chase music is survivor chase music, an exploit to noclip inside new autohaven garage while in dying state, etc...
just wait till they fix these blatant bugs first, wait till twins are actually playable, and then we can talk about changing the killer...
Legion's speed is bugged? I knew something was off with his speed
-
@[Deleted User] said:
day 1 and complaining about the new killer
twins has nothing going for them other than a campy playstyle, you can blame behaviour for not listening to feedback and being lazy
This is literally me blaming BHVR
-
@Kebek said:
And what prevents you from getting saved exactly ? You mean that if another M1 killer just stood there it would be easier then saving from killer possesing victor.
The fact that Victor and Charlotte are both there? You get close to unhook, Victor lashes on, if you chose to unhook then they switch to Charlotte and down you, then bt doesn't proc so you go down too. It's simply too good of a snowball effect for literally no effort.
-
Why is actively ruining the game for others looked down upon?* fixed that for you
-
You forgot to mention that several killers being nerfed to the ground, and nerfed more for good measure

I know this, but it doesn't explain why the queue times for killer for example are longer than survivor in the morning and shorter in the evening. It's been like this since i remember. There has to be at least one day where people are playing more survivor in the morning so killer queues are shorter.
uhhh.... yes it does. That just means that people tend to play killer more in the morning and play survivor more in the evening wherever you're at.

Whatever my dude. I genuinely don't care, it just came across as unnecessarily aggressive in what was a civil conversation. If you didn't mean it like that, that's on me.
This is about as civil as I can get in an online discussion with a person unless I am actively trying to encourage them. I absolutely do not understand people, and my words often sound harsher than originally intended.
-
For them to do a chapter soley for bug fixing and game balancing, rather than adding new killers/survivors and cosmetics.

Never complained, just expressed my opinion on the subject. Imagine being so hypersensitive over video game discussions you jump down peoples throats for having discussions. Very cool, dude/ette.
Imagine viewing someone saying "You just want to complain more" as jumping down someone's throat. Who's the hypersensetive one here?
-
I also think Black water swamp should be reworked. That map is a s s
-
Amount of people at the time or amount of people playing as killer/survivor at the time. If few killers are playing while many survivors are playing, que times for killers are low, while survivor que times are increased and vice versa. If few people are playing, oof. There's also ranking that's taken into account.

Fair, but like I said, in the right conditions it'd still be far more powerful. It doesn't really matter, as we have no idea how they'll be reworked and any ideas are just speculation.
Map, detective's, memerizing common and good hiding spots, literally just looking for it. There is so many ways to go about finding a totem, Devour Hope does not become more much powerful from this idea, you just want to complain more.
-
happens to me a lot too. I'll spam the space bar, but it's like the game doesn't want me to pallet stun until I'm hit.

There is no counter... Pallets, windows, loops, everything a Survivor has doesn't work.
I hate to break it to you, but survivor's have more than just pallets and windoes. Ever heard of stealthing? Of leaving her FOV? of juking? She has counters, you simply refuse to adapt to the killer you're facing in favor of waiting for the one's you can't handle to be nerfed to the ground. That's like putting a light bulb into a light socket and waiting for the earth to revolve around you in order for it to put the bulb in itself.

oof, guess i've just never been in this specific situation.
-
There's a limit? This situation is so specific, I've never been in a position to find this out. Unless it's a new thing
-
Nurse is fine, they've already nerfed her enough as is. Learn to actually counter her, instead of complaining that you have to think/play differently around her.
-
It is absolutely fair, it can be easily countered before it even comes into play. Especially now more than ever, with the new Undying Ruin meta, everyone's wanting the bones gone.
-
You have 21 posts so far, and I am almost 100% sure it is ALL about adding Springtrap into DBD, no one likes spam, and Springtrap simply isn't an iconic killer. Both factors (especially the spam) makes me not want Springtrap in with a burning passion, FNAF isn't even a good game, it's just full of cheap jumpscares, the fanbase is terrible, and it makes me cringe anytime someone mentions bringing a killer from a children's game into DBD
-
I wouldn't hate it, and I don't hate it because it's just a game. If you can't handle something so small, I don't understand how you handle playing any video game that involves multiplayer at all.
-
People using a perk poorly does not mean the perk itself is bad. Self care is a constant, reliable, way to heal yourself if ever needed. You don't always have a buddy nearby to heal you. Bringing a med-kit is fine but it is a limited resource, med-kits lose charges, but self care is not limited and can make med-kits more efficient.

"Survivors are immersed AF and refuse to do their job"... which is... surviving.. ok killer main
Way to take my words out of context. I said that the one's who refuse to do the gens in hopes of the other survivor dying is them being immersed AF and refusing to do their job. That's not surviving, that's screwing the other survivor over, and holding the game hostage. Nice try tho

If it's modeled after Alcatraz, it's on an island, so indoor and outdoor.
Well if it's an indoor and outdoor, that sounds interesting and I would be into it.
-
Well if it's an indoor map, I already hate it. So far all of Dead by Daulight's indoor maps aren't good IMO

Survivor: Deja vu Bond
Killer: STBFL BBQ

I've seen this question pop up every once in a while. Their response tends to be stuff like The numbers will confuse the some players, the numbers will make it seem worse than it actually is, and/or It would take a long time to edit all the text IIRC

But the benefits outweighed the cons. When you catch 2-3 of them, sleep all of them and chase after one. Now you got 2 other Survivors trying to wake up, while you down the other. And you ALWAYS know where the other 2 are at, even when they wake up because of the noise notification. Being able to come up on them in any direction without them knowing also worked.
Yes, they do try to wake up, and can do it fast too. You know where they WERE at, they can easily move to a different position. Freddy was weak, and we don't need the old version back.

It's small... like almost facecamping small
Also I think Myers TR in T1 is 6m... Going off of the in game TR (which is basically undetectable... also why he has it in T1)
Tier 1 Michael has no terror radius that's why he has the undetectable in tier 1.
-
Don't you mean it synergizes with BBQ? Both are killer perks that go good together. BBQ doesn't show auras of those in lockers and IM Reveals the location of a survivor that leaves a locker.

Alarms clocks didn't exist and I don't recall Teammates being able to wake you up. You had to either fail a skill check or a Teammate fail a skill check while they healed you.
yeah, I messed up with those two. But still, The two I mentioned were still good options due to the fact that he wouldn't even be able to attack you while you were awake. The fact that you had to wait 6-7 seconds before being able to become an m1 killer to you is BS.

@Desh said:

Except he always knew where they were at on the map and for those not awake, they never knew the direction he came from.
If they don't wake up and were also a certain distance away. They had a few different options to wake themselves up to, alarm clock, fail a skill check, have someone else wake you up, IIRC adrenaline, be hooked (Not exactly a good way tho) They never knew what direction he came from, but he also couldn't touch them in that state.
-
No. Never. His old power was becoming an m1 killer to survivors he's used his power on. That is completely garbage. He may have been overbuffed, but he doesn't deserve to revert to that. No killer should at that level of weak.

How is that taking the game hostage? It's clearly a strategy for Survivors, just like camping, tunneling and slugging are strategies for Killers.
Taking you two hours to finish a game just means you're bad at Killer, no offense.
Refusing to do generators in hopes of the other survivor dying so you can get the hatch is not a strat. It's holding the game hostage. And considering the fact that they can immediately hide the moment they start to hear a heartbeat, it's reasonable to think they can hold the game hostage for 2 hours. It doesn't mean killer is bad, it means the survivors are immersed AF and refuse to do their jobs.

Well my point is that OoO is a balanced perk as is for solo survivors. It is only when it is used in SWF that it becomes a problem.
It's not fair when all survivors can know where you're at all the time, that's how it works when all survivors bring OoO. There is nothing they can do about SWF using it other than removing it all together.
-
When Solo Q ing is basically russian roulette of survivors that farm you to death, survivors that hide in corners, survivors that try desperately to go for flash saves and fail, waste all the pallets, survivors that go out of their way to team with the killer/try to get you killed, or actually good survivors. I would rather stick with some good friends who at the very least know what they're supposed to be doing, and do it decent.
