I don't like them at all. The least they could do is make it to where it can't be used with infantry belt or add ons that add hatchets or make it alert you if they have it once it hits someone, like NOED or Devour hope on the third token.

How does "try to keep you awake most of the time" translates to "wake urself up midchase" ? Nice twisting bro.
There are a lot of pallets that spawn the same way all the time. Jungle Gyms, Shack, "C&L" (not sure if there is a term for these) sometimes map specific pallets that cannot be faked unless they've already been used. If you wake urself up all the time, you can remember used pallets and remember the pallets that spawn at a random location. Ofc its not guaranteed that these will still be there later, but this will increase your chances of surviving by a lot.
"Dont let him hit you? Jeez, how did no one think of that" again, nice twisting m8. I said "dont let him hit you right away" meaning that a lot of players just wait at their gen or an unsafe spot until the killer is already to close. If you get his heartbeat while working on a gen (being awake) you got ~6s to get to a pallet for safety. But most survivors greed to much and get punished for it, which is a misplay on the survivor side.
As freddy you dont chase survivors that are awake, its a waste of time.
Because midchase is when it would be most important to stay awake, since their is a passive sleep timer, you can't wake yourself up during a chase. "you can remember used pallets and remember the pallets that spawn at a random location" You mean the pallets that can and will be dropped and replaced? Cuz apparently we should just drop early for Freddy to just replace them whenever he feels like it. And what about the fact that you can't be at every ######### place in the map at once? Even if you could memorize the pallet spawns that you seen, there is a huge chance that some of them are fake pallets you're looking at. since, Freddy can place pallets where one COULD have spawn as well. The don't let him hit you right away was a misread on my part. "If you get his heartbeat while working on a gen (being awake) you got ~6s to get to a pallet for safety." You mean the pallet that is more than likely a fake since we're told that we should drop them early? "As freddy you dont chase survivors that are awake, its a waste of time." ######### yeah, Freddy's chase survivor's that are awake, that would be giving up pressure cuz "hur dur no sleepy sleepy" It isn't a waste of time if it creates pressure, which it does.

Sometimes it can be a cheap easy way to end the match faster, used as an exploit to get one cheap escape by DCing (honestly the most undeserving), it can be a fair and balanced mechanic that rewards the survivor for being able to ellude the killer enough to actually find the hatch, it can be a way to reward survivor's who have enough awareness to remember where a hatch spawned, or can reward them for being lucky, or it can be annoying as some survivor's find the hatch early and just hang around it giving them an almost gauranteed escape unless they somehow ######### it up or get unlucky. But most of the times for me, it tends to be fair. The only thing about it that bugs me is that the survivor's think they've actually won because one person escaped, like no a 3k is actually a win for the killer.

Freddy is strong yes, but only if you're asleep. I'd increase the passive sleep timer and thats it.
Fake pallet freddy isnt even that strong compared to snare spam freddy. Just wake urself up, remember the pallet spawns and drop fake pallets once you've fell asleep (to help ur mates). Try to keep you awake most of the time, dont let him hit you right away and he'll be a regular m1 killer with a teleport.
remember the pallet spawns? When it's different every time? And even then you don't know when other survivors have dropped pallets for him to replace? Also, you can't exactly wake yourself up midchase. Don't let him hit you? Jeez, how did no one think of that? That's something we can apply to literally EVERY KILLER.
-
Because with Devour, it rewards you for getting hooks as well as not camping, while NOED rewards you for the survivor's completing all the gens.

You got DC'd on one time and suddenly the penalty hasn't made any difference? LOL right.
Maybe don't slug to 4k and they won't DC for hatch. 🤷
Maybe don't do a legitimate strategy in the game that is annoying, and they won't exploit the game for a cheap, undeserving escape. Fixed that for you

You know how the Trapper can walk in his own traps?
I feel the clown should be affected by his afterpiece tonic.
Like blinded when walking through it, no need for coughing as he does that all the time already.
And when you walk through it with a survivor on it you will drop them.
Food for thought!
Trapper can also have multiple traps placed throughout the entire map, unlike Clown who is limited by throwing the bottle, and it's there for a limited time

Wasn't his power to turn himself into an m1 killer? And even then, specifically to someone he had to put to sleep first(which took forever)? No thanks, he deserved a rework.

Isn't supposed to be a challenge for the killer to have a 4k? It's considered a win having 3k, and what I have understood from this post is that killers should always have 4k every time survivors commit mistakes. With matchmaking nowadays, maybe there's a good survivor and the other ones are garbage.
Main idea: We won't get always a 4k every time survivors play badly. If it was supposed to be like this, then we would get 4ks at least a 90% of the games.
The point wasn't that they wanted the 4k, the point was that survivors can exploit the game with little to no punishment

The survivor that DCed, did they happened to be downed at the time and you were going off to hunt the last one/find the hatch? Or did they DC on hook, ooooor did they DC after being hit?
That doesn't matter, if you DC to give someone hatch, it's an exploit

You can tell the survivor mains from the killer main in this thread.
Survivor main: "bro, you got the 3k, what's the problem?"
Killer mains: "I don't think survivor should be able to DC to give the other survivor a free escape, it's an exploit in the game and should be punished more."
Also survivor main: "LOL just mad cuz didn't get free 4k"

The Ghostface should be the next part of this game that has to be revisited. This killer is totally unfun and frustrating to play against, especially for casual players.
There is no real counter to his power, since you can be exposed while literally standing in front of him and staring at him. This killer is the ultimate tunneling machine, since he can easily counter BT and down people right off the hook again.
Most GF players rely on tunneling and slugging.
GF should not be able to hide his red stain and his TR. It benefits the killer way too much without requiring any effort any effort.
The ability to crouch spam should be taken away, since it is abused by almost every GF killer.
I can see the devs' original intention when creating this killer, but sadly these things are abused by killer main players.
Please make facing ghostface enjoyable for survivors.
Only thing wrong with GF is the wonky reveal system. Other than that, git gud

yeah, you’re right.
but people will still dc for hatch purposes. it’s literally unavoidable not that it’s right, but it’s still a thing.
I know, but the person I was replying to was trying to compare a legitimate strategy with an uncounterable exploit
-
@StrodeWins said:
i think it’s a strat. it’s definitely not fair, but it’s a strat. it goes two ways though, say if the killer slugs to get a 4k, then i guess the one who is slugged who DC’d and the killer are both in the wrong...
Those two are completely different, slugging can be countered with unbreakable, while DCing is just an exploit.
-
Oh boy, another post from a whiny survivor who didn't get a free win. The whole point in the gate being powered when the hatch got closed was for to have a chance to escape, not a guarantee.

His lunge is the same as any other killer and his teleportation ability has a long cooldown. That's already pretty balanced.

Because his animation doesn't line up with his lunge

Oh god it takes so long, it's basically waiting simulator for me. I'll be watching YouTube to the point of forgetting I'm playing the game, and I alt tab and am still not in a lobby.

Probably Freddy, as his rework gave him so many abilities. As a killer main, I agree that he is really powerful. And think that I get more kills than I normally would. To get the ability to teleport as well as snares or pallets, and his insane lunge, he is very powerful and hard to play against. I'm not saying get rid of it all, I'm saying maybe just reduce lunge a little bitor remove the ability to get rid of teleportating to gens. As a person who would not know the full effects of this nerf, I would suggest this.

All of them, I'm just a bad survivor

Why do you follow the guy who just got unhooked anyway? And waste 60 seconds to wait in front of the Locker?
If they want to run into a Locker and waste time, let them do so. If they have Inner Strength or Adrenaline, grab them out so that their heal is wasted.
Not too hard tbh.
If a killer runs make your choice, it's possible to down the person who unhooked, chase the one who got unhooked, and then the survivor got into a locker. All within the 60 seconds.
-
That would make sense imo, I would definitely go easy on survivors of I knew they were baby survivors, and if they are purple/red ranks I would probably Dodge because I'm like rank 14 ish

I like deja Vu, it helps me know if gens are too close to each other and I can work on one of them to prevent gen locking myself. Not to mention if you bring a map with glass bead I think, you can show others where the gens are if needed.

Or they are dead. Or ran out because the Killer had NOED and they dont want to deal with that.
I think, if you really have Deliverance ready and want it to be used, get the Killer to chase you when you have not been hooked so that he does not hook the guy that was already hooked twice. Like, Teamplay.
Ever heard of tunneling? It doesn't matter how hard you try to get a killer's attention if they simply ignore you

And do what unless it was already opened by someone else? You can't open it in the Dying State.
No ######### Sherlock but unless the the other 3 survivors decided to hide in a bush before being found a killer, they most likely opened a gate

Doesnt really matter. The Killer can just leave you slugged for one minute.
It would only be a waste of time without any change of the Outcome.
That's if they think you have DS and you can still crawl to hatch
-
@thesuicidefox said:
It's supposed to be that way because as the last survivor you can't get saved, and if you kobe/Deliverance the killer will just down your again and put you back on the hook. It's pointless to even do it, so they just make you die right away to not waste anyone's time.
It's still possible to escape from the killer if you are the last survivor. For instance if you have DS and you didn't use it, or an exhaustion perk.
-
You can't
-
@Dreamnomad said:
It's always been this way. It works that way just to save time. If you are the last player alive and you get hooked then it's impossible to be rescued. If they changed it so it wasn't that way then the killer would just sit and wait until you run out of unhook attempts and you would die anyway. The .0000000000000000001% chance you have at survival with deliverance isn't worth wasting everyone's time over.
So what? All this does is punish a good survivor for surviving the longest. Even if it means the killer will stay on the hook, if I want to actually use my perk, I will use my perk. There are ways to actually get away from killers if you unhook yourself

I’d like to see some character POVs. How’s Dwight’s self confidence in the face of being the “leader?” Would Nea rather be in the US than in the Entity’s realm? Does Bill ponder the fate of Zoey, Louis and Francis a lot? Is Feng frustrated by the language barrier?
Adding to that, I’d like to see character interactions, or at least some characters thoughts on other characters (or at the very least the return of the Baker quotes). Do Kate and Jeff ever talk music? Do Claudette and Jake swap survivalist tips? Do Bill and Tapp swap war stories? Do the teens like Laurie, Quentin, Steve and Nancy ever discuss school?
Heck bring it to killers as well. How does Freddy feel about being subservient? Do the Legion get to see each other? Do any of the killers feel any regret? Do any of them let survivors escape purposefully, like the Pig?
Thats the kinda stuff I’d like to see.
All of these I want to know

Wouldn't it make sense that the newspaper is gibberish? The map was created by The Entity, and it wouldn't exactly know what to put on the paper, as it probably doesn't know what a newspaper is for.

Or maybe... And this is a hot take here... But maybe not worry about other people who leave a match they obviously don't want to be in and let them play the game they paid for the way they want to and you play it the way you want to.
