I think I had this type of game like 4-5x times in the past two weeks. That's not a little bit, but not overhelming huge number I quessm
How many games did you actually play gotta put it in perspective here.....
-
So what do you class as out of control because to be fair i rarely see outrageous cheaters in my 1500 hours of playtime but i think this out of control term is being slightly over used in this community..

Even if so, I didn't get those either. But 5 fragment is today's reward not yet started. it is approx. 7 hours later.
Fair i am in australia so it is 4:30pm on the 13th for me....Gotta remember it is not the same time everywhere :P

think your only supposed to get the 5 Rift Fragments on the 13th not the 50k

so let’s say, me survivor plays the game… does nothing wrong you know, loops the killer, does gens and in general doesn’t do anything toxic… then i get downed and slapped on a hook…… anddddd the killer hits me on hook. start spamming m1 on me on the hook and nodding his head as if i was horribly toxic to them which i wasn’t.
is it right to be toxic back? some may say no, because then you are just as bad as them.
but some say yes because they deserve it and it’s revenge.
what do you think. because i personally think that if a killer or a survivor is toxic for no reason whatsoever, you have it in your power to be toxic back. but a lot of people would disagree and say well if you are toxic then you are just as bad as the community you know. so i don’t know tbh, i am not a toxic person, unless i have received toxicity.
can toxicity bring justified this way?
a lot of people just constantly say that this community is toxic.
There are killers such as plague that do such things to help with their ability has nothing to do with being toxic (ironic to say toxic when talking about the plague)
Also i think some hit a survivor to stop the scream since some have the most horrible screams.
End of the day it is just a game and people do things in game that people will always class as toxic....

Be as blunt as you want buddy I won't lose any sleep tonight lol! Look, I'm bored of this game. I run fun builds and don't care about wins because I've played the same game for 6 years now. I've won hundreds of games and lost hundreds of games. You really rely that much on blast? Aura reading perks make it so you don't have to waste your blast on one survivor. See 2 with BBQ? And one by theirself,, how would BBQ be a waste to you at that point? You think you've thought of everything man but I can think of 2 scenarios for every one of yours that you bring up. Peace ✌️
No need to get annoyed at him some like you me and others enjoy playing with different perks to see what is fun and out of the "norm" or just works better for us and our own play style. Some are more competitive and wish things to be more efficient, and not everybody will agree with what you or i or others think especially in the DBD Community when people simply post half the time to just start a argument, cause drama or just to be a dick.
The other party is not incorrect he just has a different view on it and how it plays for him, doesn't mean your wrong either just different play styles that is all.....Play what you think is fun and do not worry about what others think they are just sharing their opinion on something you posted if you were not prepared to hear it then maybe do not post it next time.

Imagine a company that made a game to make them money........IMAGINE the companies that created the original killers wanting to be paid for the use of their material......

I find this a fun build but i have tried this but i had nurses instead of jolt pure aura building you could even have Im all ears as well its the forever seeing doc build lol nowhere to hide

tunneled a quentin off hook because i was on ormond and the survivors were literally split cross map 2 on each side so then i activate his bt after a basement save and injure everyone and then hook zarina and accidentally found her upstairs so i just threw my hatchet. but im a trash killer for that when they got me down to 1 gen because they were teamed and literally split on every gen and 1 girl hid by a gen to keep working. I also didnt 3 hook any of them and waited til the end when i couldnt find the others or they used main building and i couldnt do anything without wasting time.
why do people still think a killer is bad when they split gen pressure like smart survivors and then the killer has to play in an unfavorable way. i have zero gen perks so why would i just let you guys beat me just so you guys can call me bad for losing XD.
Play how you enjoy it, you paid for the game nobody should be telling you how to enjoy it.....Nor do you need to explain your play style to anybody else especially not to entitled survivors here that think just about anything that doesn't give them an easy win is classed as toxic.

Funny I don’t see “Nemisis has no counters” anywhere near my comment. I said he’s a pain in the ass. He’s an anti-loop killer. Anti. Loop. Put 2 and 2 together man, the only person having fun is the killer.
This has to be the funniest post i have read to date......A survivor (entitled one at that) that thinks it is unfun being chased and having to loop killers. So what do you think should happen? Should the killer just not chase you at all would that make your game fun??? Like i can get the camping and tunelling to a point, but to now hear that a survivor complaining about anti loop being unfun wow mind blown...Why even play the game seriously if you think the fundamental part of the game is now unfun the "chase"...
Before everybody hated Legion now poor Nemesus come on he is adorable he is like a clysdale horse walking around.......Blame all those pesky wesker fans out there lol......

I'm going by what I see on the forums.
Which certainly is not the majority of the player base is it. So far the main concern is from survivors worried about being held hostage on hook.......Like currently there are over 40k playing DBD right now your telling me that you are able to speak for them, and know what they think by just half a dozen threads on a feedback thread??? That is truly some amazing stuff....
As i said stop the melodramatic posting its the ptb things will change by the time its over so do not even know why your so flustered for we all know what is in the ptb at the start generally gets changed. So maybe FREAK OUT when the release comes

I've been playing both roles since release on consoles (I now play on PC as well). Yep, killers are absolutely freaking out because they can't camp as easily as before.
Please dont speak for me i am not freaking out....Seems its more survivors in this thread that are freaking out over being held hostage on a hook.Your not speaking for all killers you can only speak for yourself.

Exactly. Killers just want to camp people to death and now they are scared of this perk, lol. Don't camp.
I am assuming you never played killer with that statement or not that much at least........Lets say a killer is protecting his 3 gen and it happens the spawn of the hook is in the middle of those 3 gens the killer is patrolling and is within that range, he is not camping the hook he is protecting the 3 gen while the hook is also being semi protected it is called a strategy....They are not sitting there face camping but they are still being punished by that perk for simply protecting and patrolling the 3 gens.........Not their fault that RNG of the hooks and gens put that killer in that situation and i have seen it many times especially on smaller maps like dead dawg saloon. You may not get it so much on the larger maps but it can occur.
Why assume killers are scared of a perk lol anyhow remember it is just the PTB so most likely be changed by release anyhow.. I am glad that there is something for the survivors to use maybe now they will be happy and move on :)

It shows the character of people when things get tough or they don't get their way they simply give up. Why even play if your just going to give up continually your just a selfish player....Anyhow I do not know why your so mad and so entitled but after reading so many of your responses you just seem to be a very angry person that should actually take a break from the game if it is causing you to be so mad all the time.

Camping/tunneling shouldn't be removed entirely, just make it more difficult to do and less rewarding. I don't care about the toolbox and brand new part. I have a ton of those things because I never used them until the update that buffed killers :)
why honestly i am not trying to be a dick but why....It has never been done in any PVP Game that i know of so what makes this PVP style game any different?? You ALL have many second chance / endurance perks so it seems to me it does not matter how many you have or what measures BHVR put in it will always always be a contention of argument because at the end of the day survivors not all but a lot are so entitled that they wish that easy win and forget that they are in a team game and its not just about them escaping, and have been so used to the crutch perks and all of a sudden they are not there and you have to use other "meta perks".....
Finally if you can loop a killer for 4 gen then you done your job did you pip in that game did you earn your bloodpoints. Is this not the main reason you play each match to get your bloodpoints and get that pip does it matter whether you escape or not, get tunneled or camped at the end????

Game 1: One player starts afk and dies fast.
Game 2: Cheater - we all die within 40 seconds.
Game 3: Killer leaves after first gen.
Game 4: One player dc's after getting downed in the first minute.
This is what is stopping this game from becoming very popular. The concept is amazing but why do you devs constantly fail, year after year, to fix these OBVIOUS problems?
Disconnection penalties clearly don't work or don't matter. For reference, I've not once DC'd or left a game early.
How are any of these the fault of the devs???
- AFK Player --do you know why they are AFK can you see through your screen to see what is going on? Maybe their was a emergency or something you do realize real life happens and is more important than your fun in a game sorry stop being so precious.
- Cheaters - Occur on both sides if not probably more survivor cheaters than killer but both sides are affected
- Killer leaves after first gen ---- Refer to point 1 maybe real life happened and something more important came up.
- Player DC on first hook - They get a DC ban not much else you can do increasing it just punishes those who have network issues etc. Plus how are you to know this players internet didn't just get up and die on him so much assuming from you....
There is no multiplayer game that can 100% prevent cheating.

And most of topics are about current game problems.
No i am not missing your point but yet you miss mine anyhow you have a great day. Maybe i should come in and complain they need to do something about survivors body blocking or flashlight blinding me on every pallet stun.......Oh that is right survivors can do whatever they wish but hey a killer can't...I get it you seem to think that killers need to do things that ensure your fun and ensure that you get a better chance of a win but you as a survivor do not have to reciprocate that or complain if we would ever dare to do the same in return like ask you to kindly not
- Body block
- Flashlight killers at every pallet drop
- Teabag
- Do what it takes to win a game .......
To be crystal clear I do not tunnel or camp at 5 gens I find it boring and you lose points for camping so yeah thats another thing.

Yet another one that doesn't seem to read the post let me repeat it AGAIN how many threads and discussions of the same issue do you need??? Are we going to make a new thread everytime one of you survivors have a bad game and just want to rant about the same thing that has been discussed in multiple other threads just go find one and bump that one instead of filling a forum with the same complain. Same goes to killers doing exactly the same thing when thana was nerfed.....
There is a difference between a discussion and you all just starting thread after thread just to cry that you lost a game

When this games coding is full of spaghetti and they can't seem to get hit reg/ping latency between killer and survivor right. Let alone things like dropping pallets, stunning the killer but also being hit. Or swinging at a survivor vaulting a window, them just barely landing on the other side but your weapon bouncing off. Lets also talk about the numerous bugs each patch brings. Like how incentives were talked up as an easier way to get items and level while taking BP away from WGLF and BBQ. But then immediately turning it off and not prioritizing fixing it until basically the next chapter is out.
It astounds me that not only do they think people will support the other 3 games, but that people ACTUALLY will and pretend things are just fine within DBD. They act like they are Bungie or some #########. It's wild. They honestly need to stop funding other projects and hire new coders and quality testers
Not really going to sit and explain economics to you but ultimately BHVR is a company made to make money.....Simple....They are competing against all the other major game companies so yeah i wonder why they are diversifying...
Also do you even know what spaghetti code actually means...

DbD is my favorite game nowadays, besides all the problems and toxic players (on both sides) I am always trying to have fun and look the good side of it. But, I don't know if it's me, but it looks like that after the big update (that changed the meta) the game got worse.
I am a surv almost 90% of my plays and I am getting the feeling that I am being tunelled and campered a lot more since the update. And this is not the only problem, when a surv is being camped I try to exchange hooks to give the other player another chance, but with Save The Best For Last being used as a meta, I can't even exchange hooks, I don't have the time to get the hit and save, I am always getting the second hit or being "catched" when trying to unhook. Sometimes I feel that I can't even pass from the other side of a pallet after a hit with STBFL.
Don't get me wrong, playing as a killer is hard, I suffer a lot as a killer (and a lot more before this update), but playing as a surv is getting worse and worse. I can't play this game without getting ansious and angry about how things are turning.
Besides all that problems there are always "ridiculous" hits - even after jumping a windows and starting walking I get a hit, or the pallet not being dropped for some reason when I reach them and pressed the button (I really don't know what is happening with this). And when I can survive until almost the EGC and there's only two survivors, almost all killer leave me on the floor or keeps dropping me to rat out the other surv (I made another topic about that on this forum).
Well I just want to know if it's only me that have this feelings, but for now, I will keep away from this game for some weeks to keep my mental health intact.
The hit box issue through windows comes down to "lag' remember the servers favour the killers ping and there is also the silly hit validation problem that has always existed lol....
Yes tunneling and camping has increased it is not against the rules and no i am not saying it is a good play to do at 5 gens unless its a bully squad that is just being dicks. So please do not think or assume as a killer i think it is a fun thing to do at the start i personally rather not be staring at a survivor on a hook the entire match.
This is new to survivors not being the "power role" for a change and the role has now gone to favor the killer side more now but i can garantee that won't last long it's a game and will evolve and change over time and to honesty expect balance in a 4 v 1 style game is not that easy you will always favour one side over the other.
I have noticed a lot more survivors Disconecting on their first hook or just simply giving up on first hook so killers are not completely to blame here why would you give up on the very first hook of the game it just shows how selfish some are.
Anyhow if your getting that anxious and angry might be time to take a break from the game lets hope things get better with the new chapter.

I'm literally shocked and disgusted by how toxic you are towards the community. The grind reduction BS has been mathematically debunked multiple times using calculations and even excel spreadsheets. You don't even need f'ing spreadsheets to notice that your "grind reduction" reduces the grind for veteran players. New players are screwed up more than ever. I don't even feel like playing a single match since the amount of BP I get (~38k per game) is absolutely trash. I would have to farm for over 28 hours to get ONE character to P3 and REMEMBER!!!! We have to prestige p0-p3 every character one after another in order to make the most of the new sick system.
I'm done.
Not sure how Mandys response to you was so toxic and easily disgusted you!!! ..... She explained quite well and respectfully that there was other ways of earning bloodpoints. Seems your the one misreading or reading too much into it, or simply just having a temper tantrum because your not getting your way....

this made me laugh sorry.......Such entitlement....your more the problem than a camping tunneling killer....What an attitude does not care about his team just about himself but expects others most likely to ensure his fun and wins because he refuses to actually learn to adapt, do you actually believe things will always stay the same in games? I'll agree that is a flex maneuver, but it's a long shot away from holding survivors hostage. The whole team has to botch tremendously for everyone to go down altogether (bubba being the exception). For as long as I've been playing; in most cases only the survivors can/could actually take a match hostage. The few ways killer could do it were patched out.
Think your missing the point here or misunderstanding what i am saying. I agree that survivors put themselves in those situations to be slugged that part i agree completely, but to then proceed to leave all 4 survivors on the ground to then bleed out for the next 4 minutes when your able to hook them, kill them and move on to the next game to me falls under the Griefing: Intentional Gameplay Abuse and is plainly toxic and unsportsmanlike.
I do not know why there is any reason to not hook all 4 survivors your not getting any points for that either i can understand one maybe two if they have boil over, or they crawl to a spot where they simply can't be hooked you got no choice but if you do have the ability to you should and move to the next game. So yes they put themselves in a position to be slugged but they are not expecting you to bleed them out either as they have no control over if you hook them or do not hook them that is on you not the survivor.
I am a killer main and i think this sort of play is just disgusting and a waste of my time i rather spend time playing a game than standing around watching a person bleed out.

It's not just learning the map. It's miserable to play on for both sides whether you know the map or not.
To me, it doesn't feel like it was designed for DBD and the gameplay suffers a lot because of that.
Maybe for you but i actually have no issue with the map as once you learn the map you have the upper hand as most do not know it well enough and it is great for killers like dredge or onryeo. Just like most things i found if people dislike something or it is too hard they want to get rid of it and will complain until is.

Still falls on teammates to provide altruism in that time.
Not speaking for that killer's intent, but I do this to get more chases and ignore hooks. I don't camp the downed survivors so their teammates are free to grab them at any point until I'm after survivor #4.
I get the strat to slug, and yes it is the fault of an alturistic team to get slugged in most cases, but not to be bled out that is just plainly wrong and holding the game hostage for no other reason but to be a dick, unless they ALL have boil over and or they have put you in a position not to be able to hook. To leave them on the ground purposely to let them bleed to death is just stupid for a killer too as you do not get any points for a bleed out death. It shows that killers character he aint there for the win he is just doing it to flex and show he is the power role slow clap to those that do that.

@Neyar said:
The only way to resolve it is to make tunneling/camping less efficient than other methods. I don't believe you can accomplish this with any punishment or incentives though, and it would require a complete overhaul of core game systems. Which isn't impossible, just harder.
Take, for example, a system where survivors are treated more as a team for resources. So instead of 3 hook stages each, it's only first hook and then death hook, skipping struggle. However, now there are 4 collective hook stages for any survivor to use, that are used before their individual ones. Same number of hooks, 12 hooks and everyone is dead.
This nukes camping. You can technically still face camp one survivor, but they won't die until all of the communal hooks and their own hooks are gone: 6 hook stages. By then the other three survivors are already into their next match and you've died of boredom at the hook.
It also discourages tunneling. Until you have at least 4 hooks, it doesn't matter one bit who you chase next. In fact, if you aren't hunting your next down right away you are losing pressure. It becomes more efficient to leave hook immediately and chase someone off a gen to ideally get another hook before the rescue. Hook trading still works, but why only have two survivors off gens when you can chase a third?
This isn't a perfect system, but this is the kind of change that would reduce the 'efficiency' of camping and tunneling but still let people 'strategically' do whatever they want without implementing a punishment or disincentive.
Finally somebody that posts an actual idea to make something better possibly without doing nothing but complain about an issue without actually providing a possible solution. As a killer i think this would be something worthwhile to look at i think.
-
@DemonDaddy said:
Blame bad altruism from teammates, slugging is a good slowdown tactic that often provides a time minimum hooks cannot.
I think he forgot the bleeding out part since he did say the wraith left them slugged for 4 minutes which is about how long it takes to bleed a survivor out....Slugging is a tactic, bleeding out without a reason is just scummy.

Yeah that's fun, I experienced that except they all had No Mither + Soul Guard so for every 30 seconds I would have to wait 8 seconds to hit them every time to get them down.
But they're reworking RPD anyway so that should help. Still idiotic that when someone has died on the edge of the map on a hook, you can't hook survivors in the corner. Just make hooks respawn after people die on them. That would solve 99% of these issues.
The infinite boil over loop thing is not just in RPD i have had it in Ormond it just depends on the hook spawns whether it works or not, and if you do not have iron grasp and agitation i guess too but if you do not have the perks it is virtually impossible, and have no choice but to bleed them out.
Any other time its a scummy thing to do i don't care if it is not a bannable offense it should be as it is technically holding the game hostage to a point. It amazes me how some killers find joy in this type of game play and garantee they be first to complain about toxic bully survivors.

I am a 6000h survivor main (I only play surv, check my YT-channel Rastabooze if you dont believe) and I am seriously asking myself, how you could make it so unfun to play as survivor!
The only thing you do now is press W and press M1. You completely destroyed all the aggressive players. You actually reward defensive gameplay now. Players who pressured gens lost their ability to do so and find themselves healing each other in the corner, just to not get tunneled out of the game.
Tunneling and facecamping has gone up rapidly, cause when you facecamp, killers now have even better chances of winning, cause all gens take in general 1min longer getting finished.
I am high MMR gamer so don´t come with low skill issue (watch my vids!). I am so sick that you totally changed the game for dh and ds users. It´s a complete different game now for them.
And THIS game, I dont enjoy anymore.
To all the defensive gamers out there: I dont blame you, enjoy the game. I am soon out of this game, like many others. THIS update changed not only the game, but removed a certain type of players. And the killers are laughing about it.
I couldnt be more disappointed... cheers gamers

Being afraid is fine, but Meyers being able to one-hit everyone just ruins the match. It's not intense when everyone dies back to back within 40 seconds. Also, it's more than just a horror game, it's also like a sporting event for a lot of people. To be honest though, my favorite matches are when the killer slows things down and plays fair without camping hooks or tunneling one person too much. I try to do the same when I play killer as well. To me it's more fun to have a balanced match than it is to win, but to each their own. With the long queue times though, it's beyond frustrating to have a match end so suddenly.
It takes longer than 40 seconds for meyers to even get to tier 3 to enable him to do that since the time to tier up using those addons is like 200% longer. You talk balance when its a 4 v 1 match there is nothing balanced about that game nor when has DBD ever really been "balanced" .......
Meyers being able to one hit is not what was asked it was asked about whether he should be able to insta mori but honestly he is not the only one that is able to mori without the mori addon.
To be fair that build is more of a meme than anything else i do not come accross that many tombstone meyers.

Tragically your own experience doesn't match with the majority. If I had to count how many times I've been told something reportable (ie. slurs, hope your family dies, "Hey I know you from the Forums really glad your boyfriend died of cancer btw") by killers I'd run out of digits before hitting 10%. Same with survivors. Both sides contain awful, horrific people. Stop making this us vs them.
Show me exactly where i made it out to be Us versus them ? I think your just fishing for a argument to be honest as nowhere did i say anything that it was just one side, you also failed to show my other posts that stated that it does happen on both sides i just stated that in my experience i have gotten it mainly on the killer side from survivors, I never stated it did not occur on the killer side so maybe you need to stop trying to make it a Us versus Them issue.
I wish people would read and include everything instead of picking one single post and then take it completely out of context seriously stop being one of those guys....
Maybe i shall quote my other post just so you can see it and yet again read that i am only sharing my experience not at all stating that it never happens on the killer side just that i have not come accross it as a survivor maybe because i do not play that much as a survivor either. Stop trying to take what i say and twist it to something that i am definatly not trying to do seems more like your the one that is attempting that here.

that sucks man nobody should be dealing with that i never said it doesn't happen just has not occured as bad for me from other killers to the extent of wishing harm more so just the egotistacal dopes who enjoy flexing.
Either way not condoning the behavior it really should not occur i have unfollowed streamers for being toxic in streams etc i have very little time for that garbage. I get being angry at the game nobody likes losing but hate the game not the player never attack the player you never know what that person is dealing with on the other side..

I’ve been told to “hang from a tree” by a legion because he did poorly and I gave him a kill.
Why am i not surprised by these i think i get told to kill myself at least once a week.....smh it is just a game, makes me wonder how these people act in real life outside the game it does show the character of the person. Let us hope they grow up and mend their ways

Most of them talked like girls I overheard in Starbucks, which makes me question many things.
But yeah, I was an ######### at 13 and didn't know how to manage pain very well. I'm glad that I can do it a lot better these days because if I kept my ability to manage pain at 13 to my current self six years down the road, I'd be a ######### nightmare.
But yeah, I try to be better and to help people instead of hurt them. Maybe I can make up for the things I've said in the past, who knows.
That is all you can do is try nothing more, and sometimes you gotta let the past be the past cant change what has happened but can only change what your doing right now :)

I used to try to talk to them and get them to see how they might hurt people. I'm ashamed to say I was one of those kids once too. I didn't grasp that my words held power nor did I particularly care.
Talking to them never really worked out and it started to weigh on me heavily. I eventually just turned off all of my messages.
Mad respect for owning your behaviour in the past and realising the damage it can cause it takes a lot for somebody to admit their faults and to actually change it for the better. Talking to them does nothing but stress you out they do not care what you got to say to them its a reaction they are after and you talking to them gives them that knowledge that they got to you.
I feel bad for the adults that do this as they should know better at least if its a kid they have the excuse of immaturity and most likely will grow out of it but adults they know better and should really check themselves.

Yeah, that's what I was always concerned about.
You never know what someone else is going through and to push them over the edge...
I don't know how you handle that, honestly. The people saying it are probably just kids, like 13 or 14.
Me as a killer i just move on say GGWP and hit continue or if i get too many i simply close the end game chat so i dont even see it and just hit continue i do not indulge them with a reaction because that is what they are after. Be the better person i say and ignore it if people return the toxicity it just gets worse and worse and we are no better than they are.
