Post your builds!

The purpose of this forum is to either post your favorite builds, the ones that get you the highest escape/kill rate, etc. Just have fun!

This gives a chance for others to see potentially non-meta builds that work well! (OR just other meta builds lol)

NOTE - these escape/kill rates are specific to these builds, not the total escape/kill rate over past 30 days.

2nd note - if you post a build and also post an escape/kill rate - also show the specific escape/kill rate(s) for those specific builds plz :D

I'll start - as Dracula (The Dark Lord) - My current killer build uses the following addons/perks.

Addons: Killer doll (increases the amount scent orbs recharge the pounce cooldown for Dracula wolf form by 30 extra %). + Warg's fang (whenever pounce goes off cooldown, see the aura of ALL survivors that you have collected a scent orb from for 5 seconds).

Perks : 1. Turn back the clock 2. Pain resonance 3. Deadlock 4. Ultimate weapon. + Mori

This killer build over past 30 days (or really the 2 weeks I've used it) a 88% kill rate.

For my current survivor build

Leon Kennedy (the goat)

Commodious toolkit w/ brand new part/ wirespool

perks : 1. Botany Knowledge 2. Potential Energy 3. Deja vu 4. Lithe + BP offering.

This survivor build over past 30 days has given me a 46% escape rate

Comments

  • Killers first. Kill rates would be higher if I wasn't so dang tame-able 😭. Almost always let the last one out.

    Xenomorph: 68% Kill Rate

Idea of this build is to create scourge hooks using Jagged Compass for all game aura reading from Floods on the survivors and always show gen with highest progress. After hooking, travel over to force DMS once survivors have caught on to the combo. Harpoon Gun addon can also force DMS as most survivors are not aware enough to know when a survivor in chase is about to be injured by me which forces everyone map wide to scream. It and Self Destruct (faster vaulting in crawler mode) never leave any of my builds on Xeno.

    • Pain Res
    • Dead Man's Switch
    • Scourge Hook: Jagged Compass
    • Scourge Hook: Flood of Rage
      • Addons - Harpoon Gun and Self Destruct Bolt

    Hillbilly: 59% Kill Rate

This build is one of the most fun builds on any killer I run. The combination of Secret Project (cleansing totems and blocked gens give 30 seconds undetectable) and Corrupt Intervention at the start of the trial paired with Apex Muffler (silent chainsaw outside of terror radius) give you instant undetectable at the beginning of the match. After that, Thrilling Tremors keeps the undetectable coming and BBQ easily gives your next unsuspecting target. Only drawback is there is basically nothing to slow gens down, so poor chases can easily lose the game.

    • Secret Project
    • Corrupt Intervention
    • BBQ & Chili
    • Thrilling Tremors
      • Addons - Apex Muffler and Spiked Boots

Survivors depends on whether I'm solo or not. Ripley was my first P100 and who I play solo and have the higher escape rate with. Yui was my next P100 and love her so much, but originally I only played her because I needed fits to match my friends. I find my Yui has a lower escape rate because I am making too altruistic decisions solely because I'm with my friends if that makes sense, so I'll just share Ripley's stats.

    Ellen Ripley: 44% Escape Rate

    • Bond
    • Adrenaline
    • Empathic Connection
    • We're Gonna Live Forever
  • I've got a whopping 31% win rate with my Treacherous Crows, No Mither, Calm Spirit, Eyes of Belmont build for Taurie.

I got a good match of it last night in Hawkins poor Wesker struggled to catch us unawares because the birds kept ratting him out. I enjoy being able to be so close to killers with No Mither! I once had an old Tombstone Myers walk into me, receiving the KILL prompt and he still didn't realize he bumped into my bush.

  • I use an off meta totem build for survivor.

Blood moon map, with totem tracking and extra charges.

Perks consist of: inner strength for solo resets, overzealous for gen speed, lend a hand as a soft counter for slugging and good healing perk in general (lowkey broken if your teammates have resurgence), and lastly counterforce to facilitate the rest of build.

Really strong build even if you don’t end up playing against hexes and it isn’t the same boring SB/Lithe second chance build that everyone runs.

For killer it’s a bit more loose and killer dependent, I play a ton of different killers so one build doesn’t really fix.
But my favorite combo by far is furtive/friends and machine learning; then either lethal on strong M2 killers or devour on my M1 killers for that surprise factor. Haste/undetectable go brrrrr

  • I mainly play killer so I thought it's be fun if I shared five fun builds that have gotten me good kill rates on some of my favorite killers:

    Hag 72.66% Kill Rate

Monitor & Abuse | Turn Back the Clock | Hex: Plaything | Corrupt Intervention | Mint Rag/Rusty Shackles + random numbers add-on

This build allows you to get your traps setup early with the amazing pairing of Corrupt + Monitor allowing you to have a very small TR as a short killer. TBTC is really good on Hag as you do not need to travel across your entire setup to get gen regression. Plaything is really good passive gen slowdown as most survivors hate being oblivious and will likely go searching for their totems. Undetectable with Rusty Shackles/Mint Rag allows for free hits or grabs.

    Skull Merchant 74.34% Kill Rate

Gift of Pain | A Nurses Calling | Deadlock | Gearhead | Manuscript + Geographical Readout OR Expired Batteries + Infrared Upgrade

Perks that benefit from injured survivors are really good on SM as you have on demand undetectable whilst being a really quiet killer. You can go around the map getting injuries for and chain them together with Gearhead, then get free downs with Nurses Calling. Once people get unhooked on GOP they will heal slower so you can use nurses to sneak up on the survivors with your undetectable. This build keeps you doing something all the time since you have insane map knowledge while playing SM since you get direct locations on claw traps, nurses, gearhead, drones, crows, ect. Then you use that knowledge with your undetectable for free hits and downs.

    Dredge 67.42% Kill Rate

Floods of Rage | Pain Resonance | Jagged Compass | Make Your Choice | Field Recorder + Lavalier Microphone

Pain Resonance + Jagged Compass gives you great info as you can hear which survivor is on the gen, then see which gen got Pain Resonanced. Make Your Choice is really fun on Dredge as you can place your remnant nearby the hook and instantly teleport back once the unhook is finished, and you have aura reading on the exposed survivor from Floods of Rage

    Plague 63.64% Kill Rate

If you hate exhaustion perks this is the perfect build for you:

No Way Out | Infectious Fright | Mindbreaker | Blood Echo | Olibanium Incense

No Way Out is great on Plague. Infectious Fright is literally the best perk to run on Plague as many times you will get downs in corrupt purge and not know whether or not to slug for an extra kill, or to just take the hook then go searching. Mindbreaker stops survivors from instantly using SB or Lithe as you approach. Blood Echo is pretty good on Plague as you typically get everyone affected by it and many survivors will want to cleanse your infection to not get affected by Blood Echo which is why I run Olibanium Incense because it allows you to instantly infect the survivor that just cleansed. Its also very good during end game as most survivors cleanse before getting saves and/or opening gates.

    Doctor 60.71% Kill Rate

Monitor & Abuse | Nurses Calling | Nowhere to Hide | Discordance | Both of the Calm Add-ons

You zap to get map wide aura reading with your 38m TR then get a 10m TR and sneak up on people, very fun. I only use this build on Doctor as most people expect skill check or regression. Honestly you really only need Monitor + Calm Add-ons but I'm a huge fan of aura reading perks as if you can start and finish chases faster people don't have time for gens.

I unfortunately don't play Doctor much anymore since I'm on my P100 Trapper grind and have ran out of the "Calm" Add-ons for him.

Anyways I hope some people end up liking and using my builds, they're all really fun to used when you learn how to play with them. Let me know if you ended up using them!

  • My comfort builds

Freddy - Corrupt, Brutal, Zanshin, Batteries (add ons: Red Paint Brush, Swing Chains)

Pig - Corrupt, THWACK, Plaything, Surveillance (add ons: Rule Set No 2, Tampered Timer. I prioritise untrapped survivors, so prefer add ons to help passively pressure the trapped ones)

Survivor - Empathic Connection, Empathy, Resurgence, Babysitter. Item is whatever i feel like.

Couldn't tell you my kill/escape rate as I don't use the stats site, but I win more than I lose as killer. Don't play survivor much anymore but I'd put my escape rate around the 40% mark.

  • This has been my Jason killrate and build for the past 30 days. I threw ALOT of games giving ppl escapes who brought cakes during the event, so this is excluding that.

The vast majority of those escapes are actually from hatch since I generally dont slug for the 4k unless I see scratchmarks or something showing the last survivor. Jason's mobility is just nuts if you know how to utilize it. Maps like RPD become deadly.

LMAO. I'm def gonna wanna be your killer teammate in 2v8 tommorow/this coming week XD. We'd be unstoppable

Im not that good on most of the roster and Jason probably isn't getting added to 2v8 yet. Hes really good at handling certain window loops that would NORMALLY be major pain points for other killers. I'd go as far as to say Jason has no bad map.

Also helps that sleeping bag gets slept on...no pun intended. They actually decided to BUFF it while its IMO his best addon.

I was equally as baffled at that buff. Sleeping Bag is INSANELY good

I'll GLADLY accept that tradeoff for the sauna rock nerf we all saw coming. I love using it to swap targets constantly and keep up the pressure.

  • I have a few builds for my favorites, so the kill rates are not attributed to any specific build, just my overall ability.

Skull Merchant: 67.71% Kill Rate all time, 71.43% last 30 days

    Build 1;
Turn Back the Clock | Scourge Hook: Pain Resonance | Scourge Hook: Gift of Pain | Scourge Hook Jagged Compass
    Add-ons: Ultrasonic Speaker, Adaptive Lighting.

This has been my go to build since Henry was added. I prefer to lean into Skully's stealth, hence Adaptive Lighting. Gen regression is maintained primarily with Turn Back The Clock, with Pain Res acting as a support. I prefer to use 2 Pain Res early in the match, then save the remaining 2 for mid-late game. Counter intuitively, I actually use Jagged Compass for its ability to point me to the gen with the most progress so I can zero in and interrupt it as needed. The ability to create more scourge hooks is just an added benefit. Gift of Pain serves a dual purpose as the Hemorrhage can be taken advantage of thanks to Skully's on-demand stealth, but if I miss the heal interrupt, it provides some passive gen defense with the repair speed debuff. Ultrasonic Speakers are pretty much a must use if you want to get any benefit from Claw Traps, naturally.

    Build 2:
Call of Brine | Nowhere to Hide | Pop Goes the Weasel | Oppression
    Add-ons: Expired Batteries, Ultrasonic Speaker

My comfort gen-kick build. Expired Batteries act to save me a perk slot from Lethal Pursuer so I can get into my first chase ASAP and get the hook-Pop-repeat cycle started. Call of Brine and Pop for immediate and sustained regression on kick, Oppression to reduce the likelihood of survivors leaving partially completed gens on the map for later, and Nowhere to Hide to determine if I have any rats nearby that could interrupt CoB. With this build I rely more on my chase and laser-tagging than stealth.
    ————
Knight: 66.27% Kill Rate all time. Not played in last 30 days

Lethal Pursuer | Nowhere to Hide | Pop Goes the Weasel | Oppression
Add-ons: Town Watch's Torch, Call to Arms

Pretty much the same build as my second Skull Merchant setup for the same reasons. With this one though, I start the match by running to the largest concentration of survivors on the map (ideally if 2 or more are jumping on the same gen), get within about 20-24 meters so they don't hear my TR, and then send my Jailer out to their position with the added range from Call to Arms. I then actively ignore the survivor detected by my Jailer and instead head to the gen being worked on while Undetectable, often times getting a grab in the process. If I'm particularly lucky or in the zone, I can get a hook and another injure or two before the Jailer finishes that first chase. For the remainder of the match I try to keep at least two areas pressured at any given time. Jailer to keep someone busy and extend my Undetectable as long as possible, Assassin for chasing injured survivors in hopes of an easy down while I'm chasing someone else, Carnifex only for breaking pallets in chase.
    ———-
Myers: 59.50% Kill Rate all time, 73.44% last 30 days

Turn Back the Clock | Agitation | Thrilling Tremors | Silent Shadow
Add-ons: Memorial Flowers, Fragrant Tuft of Hair

I'm actually in the minority of long time Myers players that actually enjoys Slaughtering Strike. That said, I do get a kick out of OG-style Fragrant Tuft Myers. The idea of this build is to rapidly down and hook people in Evil Incarnate mode while Undetectable with Silent Shadow. Trilling Tremors block gens, but is mainly used to show me which gen is being worked on so I can beeline to it after a hook, with Agi helping to facilitate that, while TBtC stops any work on the gen at range as well as add a jump scare and confusion as I come in with an insta-down attack. An argument can be made that Judith's Tombstone would provide more synergy for this build than Memorial Flowers, but I found that since Evil Incarnate mode is reduced to 40 seconds with Tombstone, it's too easy for the cycle to get interrupted if the survivors play smart and/or sneaky. Plus MemFlowers provide consistent value throughout the match up until end game when Silent Shadow fully kicks in.

  • My top number one pick for killer is deathslinger with a 55% kill rate

    I like running:

    • Pain res
    • I’m all ears
    • Corrupt Intervention
    • Any perk
    • Iri coin addon and any addon that gives me faster reload speed

I like running corrupt so that the survivors are more likely are gonna come to me so I can find them easier

For survivor I have an average of ~44% escape rate between my top 3 survivor mains

    My solo que build:

    • Lithe/5 moves ahead
    • Reassurance
    • Empathetic connection
    • Hyper focus
    • Toolbox or medkit

This build works for me because I get to support my team while being self sufficient (Lithe for looping and Hyperfocus for gens)

    My swf build (support):

    • Kindred
    • Aftercare
    • We’ll make it/desperate measures
    • Reassurance/No one left behind

This makes the communication easier for me and my friends since we don’t know the clock system for each map and the healing speed and other bonuses are nice to round out this build

Also if you’re struggling in chase and have a lot of survivors prestiged try:

    • 5 moves ahead
    • Trouble shooter
    • Quick Gambit
    • Salvations cry (new aurora perk) or any perk

I found this out while playing the PTB and honestly it helps you orient yourself better and supports you in chase

  • My billy build:

    • Addons:
      • Low Kickback Chains
      • Steel Toe Boots
    • Perks:
      • Enduring
      • Bamboozle
      • Lethal Pursuer
      • Barbeque&Chili

It's a pretty cheap, highly aggressive build that allows for whacky chainsaws while still requiring you to keep up pressure through chase alone.

    My quanton build:

    • Item: Brown Key w.o. addons
    • Perks:
      • Dejà Vu
      • Five Moves Ahead
      • Resurgence
      • Sprintburst

It's my goto survivor build. I loved the value of resurgence after it's release, so i substituted Bond with the brown key. Five Moves Ahead replaced Windows of Opportunity completely due to my basic map knowledge being okayish after 4700 hours.

    As offering it's always BP.

  • Lately I've been playing mostly wraith with 84% Kill-Rate, that's the build:

    image.png

Tho I don't play much killer lately, because I don't like waiting 5 minutes for a game.

For survivior I mostly use DH + DS + Resilience + one perk I feel like using
