No you don't understand. We need to nerf survivors more so killers will play something other than broken overpowered killers. They totally just won't keep playing stupidly broken killers.

Isn't Nurse the strongest killer in the game? With that thought, wouldn't she be included on the list?
I'm not asking for Sm treatment he's still very strong. You guys see any kind of nerf even if it's small as a skull merchant treatment it's your victim card y'all play
Because like I said, he JUST got 2 pretty big nerfs and your reasoning for wanting more is "no one likes playing against him". Your not pointing out any particular flaw with the balance, just yelling NERF IT MORE.
I don't mind the Ghoul except that first easy no skill hit they I'm not exactly thrilled about. When I go up against a Jason I more or less just don't play to win. Life is too short to duck walk for 30 min on a game. Most boring killing to go up against which stinks because the design, the spears etc are really cool and the thought process behind him as well …. Just nerf that power or limit it like Spirit and he'd be fun to go up against

Personally I think increasing the M1 recovery time after Kagune leap by a small/medium amount (Half a second to a second) would raise his skill floor and nerf the pallet munchers while letting good ghouls that can tech and cutoff still win the loops they've used their power well at.
Just nerf ghoul already nobody likes playing against him
Taking their time in needing in stages rather then accidentally over needing him is in my opinion the better choice.
Also saying they should be nerfed because no one likes going against em is a bit lame, no one likes going against legion for months after the removal of the moonwalking tech and depleting of deep wounds with that one add on

Legion main enters the room you dont speak for me, killers are strong right now. I only ever lose if it is a strong 3-4 stack other than that pretty easy.

Truthfully I think it'd be best if maps and things like pallet count and generator speed was determined by killers so if you play a broken ass like Jason or Nurse you get all pallets and sixty seconds but if you play a normal balanced killer you get regular stuff.

This makes more sense then the current iteration for the pallets. Gen speeds not so much.

Except certain killers (nurse) ignores 99% of pallets so you need something else. Or ideally just reworking nurse to be like oni where she has to work for her broken power.
I really don’t understand the point of posts like this. Anyone can post something like this without actual evidence that they are really seeing this in their matches. I personally haven’t seen much of Jason or Ghoul lately. Is there something that we are supposed to discuss here?
Sometimes I feel like I'm the only one not seeing these guys. The last time I saw Ghoul was over 10 matches ago and the last I saw Jason was over 20, like my most recent matches have been
That's what? 18 different killers in my last 30 matches? (Obviously not including my killer rounds) and only 1 Ghoul and 1 Jason in all of it? I know it's because I don't always take this game seriously so I probably am not the highest mmr on the planet, but it's just wild how much more variety I get compared to others. (I will be real though even for me I didn't realize how much variety I've had recently like wow)
Now that I've said it I'm about to enter Ghoul/Jason hell.

This. And it could be adjusted each 30 days based on their data. No brainer. Yet, hasn't happened in 10 years. Just killer power creep.
"Why doesn't anyone play the old killers?!"
Well, because all new killers have multiple powers that the older killers have. Duh.

It's not just you. It's the same for me. I always have a lot of variety when there isn't a new killer being overplayed. My last killers according to my stats were Singularity, Pig, Clown, Jason, Pyramidhead, Henry, Jason, Unknown, Unknown, Ghoul, Dracula, Springtrap, Dracula, Sadako, Trapper, Wraith, Plague, Jason, Chucky, Knight, Oni, Micheal, Skull Merchant, Plague, Unknown, and Spirit. So just as many Unknowns as Jasons. I don't really think MMR has that much to do with it. My escape rate is usually around 60% for the month so I know I'm not at the bottom.
Except certain killers (nurse) ignores 99% of pallets so you need something else. Or ideally just reworking nurse to be like oni where she has to work for her broken power.
The thing with THAT is everytime the release the numbers on killrates, Nurse ISNT at the top for any MMR ranking. Her position on tier lists is based off ppl's idea of potential capabilities rather than how she's actually performing, which ends up leading to killers like Pig out performing her on average. Until the numbers show that she's an unstoppable monster you cant escape from without handicapping, they arnt going to add handicapping to further lower her killrates.

I think that's a bad idea though. Like, let's say the devs added a perk that was hard for survivors to use but guaranteed they win and there's nothing the killers can do and if they fail the survivor dies instantly. The results would show the survivors who use it die a lot but ultimately it'd be broken since there's nothing the other side can actually do to counter it.

The devs already DO provide perks that are hard to use, provides massive benefits and has no actual counter. Hyperfocus for example has no actual counterplay the killer can do to prevent you from using it. Its 100% on your end if you get that benefit.

All Ghoul needs is the removal of the "cancel tech" (pallet vault without the downside), and not being able to cancel on top of survivors mid dash (which stops him dead in his tracks, instead of stopping at the end of the slide). That will introduce much needed counterplay to the most offensive strategies used today.
Animations could also be improved to give a clearer picture for the survivors to when the Ghoul is letting go of M2, as right now, there is a significant delay between the power being canceled, and what the survivor sees (time difference between power cancelation and visual kagune lowering).

Hyperfocus has the counters of scream builds, gen regression, gen blocking, and builds that make skill checks harder. There's no perk that survivors have that is an automatic win if you are just that good like killers have with nurse.
Isn't Nurse the strongest killer in the game? With that thought, wouldn't she be included on the list?
Because strong killers are not allowed and having strong killers that are popular is even worse. Nurse being strong doesn't matter as much when you don't see her that often. You'll get more Nurse post after other popular killers get reduced to junk.

Theres no perk that a killer has that effects great skillchecks or can make them harder.
So your counter for the perk that im not allowed to know is in play is to keep interrupting the survivor that I dont know has the perk while at the same time building stacks for Huntress lullaby in the hope it isn't cleansed. I need to do this BEFORE you get skillchecks.

Oh so you'd also be fine with survivors knowing in advance what killer they are going against since they also aren't allowed to know who it is until it's too late or are you gonna gonna not say anything now that you realize how bad your argument is?

My point was I wouldn't know the perk was in play and who has it until the score screen. Im suppose to keep interrupting THAT guy, but the perk has no tell or animation that its being used.

As mentioned previously, scream builds, gen regression, gen blocking, and builds that make skill checks harder. You don't even need to know who is running it. Like just run grim or pain res and you are already countering it. Seriously I don't get what your problem is here. If your issue seriously comes down to them not having a tell, I'll clue you in. They have toolboxes, because it's utter garbage without a toolbox.

A toolbox isn't a requirement, just a stacking effect. Your saying i should do various actions which MIGHT effect someone if they're running that perk. Pain res for example MIGHT trigger on the gen they're on. The scream perk MIGHT trigger in their area. They might not even have the perk and are instead using another perk that also has no tells that requires a different counter like Overzealous. Unlike killer perks which almost ALWAYS have a tell allowing perceptive survivors to figure out the entire loadout, thats not the case for at least half of survivor perks which makes talks of countering them pretty iffy.

Just had a game where it popped up with no toolbox. The entire loadout is perks that the killer has no way of identifying funny enough, although I guess 5 moves ahead can be guessed if you really pay attention to the pallet toss.

Cool, so your still just gonna say you want to be able to see all survivor perk loadouts in the lobby or do you have an actual point?
At no point did I say I wanted to see ANYTHING in the lobby, but if your going to suggest perk specific counterplay then there has to be a way to identify the perk in the MATCH at least. Even if I brought Ultimate weapon for example specifically to counter this perk, it doesnt help if I dont know which of the 4 survivors has it until the score screen.
Ultimately incase you forgot how this conversation started... Similar to Nurse which hypothetically could be unstoppable if the player controlling her never made a mistake and played like a machine, Hyperfocus similarly is only being kept in check by player skill with skillchecks. It COULD have drastically higher success, but player skill is the deciding factor. Ppl failing to hit greats is the only reason its not having much higher escape rates.

Dude, just bring pain res. This is getting pathetic. And no, hyperfocus is not the equivalent of nurse.

Yeah, having something in the game that has a high skillfloor which if used to its maximum potential would allow you to finish your objective faster than anything else ISNT comparable to...having something in the game that has a high skillfloor which if used to its maximum potential would allow you to finish your objective faster than anything else. It's me, the random killer.
In dearly hope dbd won't go down the path of keeping killers with a high skill floor viable. The crayon man is a sickness.
Nurse actually takes some skill to play tho so she's less played. I see the occasional goat nurse.
They just gave him afew significant nerfs. Going full "skullmerchant treatment" so ppl dont pick a killer isn't a good way to approach balancing.

At least on Jason I’ve gotten substantially less death threats than playing the tall Brazilian woman.
I’ll take what I can get at this point
but they dont want balance, they want to not face good killers.
No because Nurse requires more than 2 hours of practice to actually be good.

Yeah seriously that'd be such a good idea. Imagine the game being balanced every month like that. Truly insane.

Yesterday I've been lucky… i didn't go against Jason or Kaneki. I wish you guys the same!
I don't mind top tier killers, what bothers me the most is that it's miracle to get killers with less than 80 ping.
