wait so it's free without need for prime subscription ? and every one can use it?
No, Last month the reward was a Plague skin that was previously in a rift before. That meant if you had obtained the skin through the rift your prime reward was useless and irredeemable.
wait so it's free without need for prime subscription ? and every one can use it?
No, the last one was a plague skin that was already in the rift. If you already had the skin, you couldn't redeem the code. And you can't give away the code on the official forum. Lol.
No, Last month the reward was a Plague skin that was previously in a rift before. That meant if you had obtained the skin through the rift your prime reward was useless and irredeemable.
ah yes this one true i gave it to my friend because i also already had i from rift. but bruh anoter trash reward ;/
1 ######### charm, then skin most of people already had and could not redeem it and now this. i wish i didn't buy prime. i should just use free try get blight skin and leave.
Really disappointing reward, should have included auric cells if they were gonna do this. I also already had the Plague skin so last month's reward was useless too. What's going on BHVR?
People are paying money monthly for Twitch Prime just to get this loot. You know that, right?
Just earlier this month, you gave out a free code that gave people 300,000 Bloodpoints. And people who pay for a monthly subscription where they can get rewards from you get 400,000 Bloodpoints.
They could've at least made it 2 Mil BP. No ones paying for ingame currency that's FREE to get.
But they're not paying for it...? They're paying for Prime, and this is one of the myriad of things that are supposed to entice people to shell out for it.
None of the gaming rewards are individually meant to be worth the price of a Prime subscription, that's not really the point of the whole setup. A lot of them are in-game currency like this, even.

You have to pay for prime to get the reward right?
A paid subscription that doesn't exist just to give you that thing. No single Prime Gaming reward is worth the price of the subscription, and nor should they be judged on that merit, because that's not the kind of deal that it is.
They are a freebie for people who already have the subscription, not a thing that is meant to be worth you getting the subscription on its own. I know I've pointed this out a few times now, but a lot of the other Prime Gaming rewards are currency (and almost all of them are comparably minor if not, such as Pokemon Go's 30 Pokeballs and that one game's single player banner), because that's the kind of deal that they are.
There's still room to criticise this for being a little low, but the offer being for in-game currency is not itself a problem.
If it's free then why do you have to enter your credit card information to get it?
no you don't. You only need to claim it. If you are talking about Prime Subscription. It's nobody's problem if you only pay for a subscription to get free stuff. You paid for the service. If you paid only for FREE give-aways and you aren't satisfied with them... well complain to Amazon in that case, tell them that you need more free stuff.
Because otherwise these are completely free giveaways, you didn't pay for the skins. Read your subscribers agreement if you don't believe me. you paid for the service. Nobody told you to pay for a service you don't need just for free stuff now and then. But the BP was completely free.
But as always it's the internet. People complain even about free stuff :))

No matter how you spin it, 400k bp is really cheap.
Yes. It is. A subscription to a service that has nothing to do with Dead By Daylight. It's just free drops in it for countless games. So you didn't buy the BP. Nobody told you to pay for a subscription you don't even need.
No matter how you spin it, 400k bp is really cheap.
I'm not spinning anything, I'm reminding people what the context of this reward is.
With all of the context that I just laid out in mind, I actually agree that 400k is a little low! But I'm not gonna be mad about it because that's such a weird, entitled thing to be mad over, it's an optional freebie in a group of generally kinda lame + underwhelming optional freebies for other games.
Yes. It is. A subscription to a service that has nothing to do with Dead By Daylight. So you didn't buy the BP. Nobody told you to pay for a subscription you don't even need.
Justifying daylight robbery by an incredibly rich company making a fortune during a global economic crisis?
Couldn't be me. Y'all stay safe tho.
I don't justify anything. I just said that people complain about free stuff and you didn't pay for the BP. Amazon has nothing to do with Dead by Daylight. It's free drops. Nobody told you to subscribe to Amazon Prime
Y'all going out of your way to defend this is exactly why BHVR and Amazon feel like giving 400,000 BPs away as an "exclusive reward" is acceptable.
Not defending it, reminding people of the context.
Criticise it all you like, so long as you understand the context. Specifically, the context of what the other Prime Gaming rewards are.
If you haven't picked it up already, I don't personally think Prime Gaming is worth it! At least not on the merits of the rewards, because they're very rarely all that interesting.
Y'all going out of your way to defend this is exactly why BHVR and Amazon feel like giving 400,000 BPs away as an "exclusive reward" is acceptable.
So what if they give free stuff to their subscribers? Why would you even care, right? If you are a subscriber, it's just free stuff, if not... it's not really your business what others give to their clients, right? It doesn't affect you
The fact you perceive this as "free stuff" is an absolutely insurmountable win for Amazon and BHVR. They've marketed so well that people genuinely believe content you have to pay a monthly subscription to receive is free.
Well if you subscribed to a streaming service just for free lootbox stuff in it, that is kinda dumb really, sorry to tell you that. It was your problem to begin with subscribing to something you don't even need just for some free "bonuses" (which you ended up not liking afterall).
Amazon themselves literally state that after your free trial, Prime Gaming is "Just $14.99 per month."
You perceiving the content as just "free added bonuses" gives them the perfect excuse to deliver low-quality rewards 🤦
like I said. It's YOUR problem if you subscribe to a service you don't need for random free drops. Because that's really dumb. And if you cancel or don't subscribe, this doesn't affect you anyway
Amazon themselves literally state that after your free trial, Prime Gaming is "Just $14.99 per month."
You perceiving the content as just "free added bonuses" gives them the perfect excuse to deliver low-quality rewards 🤦
But what you're not paying for is any given one of those bonuses, you're paying for all of them plus the free games. Also, I'm pretty sure it's just a regular Amazon Prime subscription, right? So that is what you're paying for- any specific reward in that group is effectively free because it is not the thing you're paying for. You're paying for Amazon Prime.
Again, most of them are like this. None of them are designed to be the main thing you buy the service for, they're designed to be freebies that come with the thing you actually paid for.
I'll repeat that I have a low opinion of this service, just to be utterly crystal clear that I'm not defending it in general. I just think this specific criticism is a weird one to apply to any Prime Gaming reward, it's so wildly off base to what it is that's happening there. Would you work up this much fervor for any of the other rewards...? The GTA Online one is also just currency, after all, is that a ripoff because buying Prime just for that currency for that specific game is massively overpriced?
oh and by the way, my subscription is 13.5 RON/month which is only like 3$ or less. So it's cheap as hell for me. I can buy a pack of smokes with 2 months of membership
like I said. It's YOUR problem if you subscribe to a service you don't need for random free drops. Because that's really dumb. And if you cancel or don't subscribe, this doesn't affect you anyway
So it's dumb because you think it's dumb?
I'd like to think that whatever people subscribe to and their reasoning is none of other people's business.
The service: Subscribe monthly to receive in-game rewards!
People: Oh hey, that sounds cool, I'll try it out.
You: Wow you're actually really dumb for subscribing for the advertised rewards and expecting to actually get decent rewards because the core of Amazon Prime is a delivery service so it's unreasonable to expect that they could possibly deliver in any other market.
And it was very dumb to subscribe to something you don't need for some free bonuses. That's really on you, not on BHVR
I'd like to think that whatever people subscribe to and their reasoning is none of other people's business.
Oh absolutely. My personal opinion, that it's dumb, but the reason behind it is theirs only. I'm just laughing that they complain about free stuff. Unless they didn't need the video service to begin with. In which case it's sorta dumb and funny to buy something you don't need
"It was really dumb of you to pay for a service that was advertised, expecting the company to deliver to the standard that was advertised, and that's entirely on you and not on the company."
This kind of attitude is EXACTLY why companies continue to get away with consumer rights violations and underdelivering on services. The level of out of touch is ASTOUNDING.
well go to Amazon then and complain the the free stuff included in their services aren't cool and you don't like them lol
Probably that's part of the reason they make millions because people like you buy stuff they don't even need.
If something is technically free then it really isn't free. Like be real.
I really feel like you're not engaging with the core of what I'm saying here.
To make it more simple: You are not paying for just that. You are paying for a wide variety of things, and the group of things that contains the DBD reward tend to be minor things like in-game currency specifically because they are designed to be bonuses complementing the main thing being charged for.
People are paying money monthly for Twitch Prime just to get this loot. You know that, right?
Just earlier this month, you gave out a free code that gave people 300,000 Bloodpoints. And people who pay for a monthly subscription where they can get rewards from you get 400,000 Bloodpoints.
Whoever is approving these rewards is so out of touch.
At a time where people's money is more streched than ever, those still willing to pay upwards of £100 (GBP) yearly are rewarded with what I could get for free in 3-4 games. It's honestly insulting.
You are implying that ppl pay for Twitch Prime for the sole reason to get Dbd rewards. Which is totally out of touch with reality. Most of the ppl pay for prime to get free amazon delivery or prime streaming access. Twitch prime subs and Prime gaming rewards are just the icing on the cake. Acting like you are entitled to get some nice game rewards because you pay for it, thats just incredibly embarassing.
Oh absolutely. My personal opinion, that it's dumb, but the reason behind it is theirs only. I'm just laughing that they complain about free stuff. Unless they didn't need the video service to begin with. In which case it's sorta dumb and funny to buy something you don't need
I mean to be fair, it looks bad on BHVR regardless of how absurd it might sound. I understand what you are saying, but at the same time they aren't gonna be let off the hook that easy (no pun intended)
I think 400k as an exclusive reward (the wording PG uses) is pretty yikes when you consider it's not even in-game shards but points that you can easily earn from playing some matches.
People already have and they themselves acknowledged that they had underdelivered.
"We are extremely sorry for the misunderstanding due to the use of the word "exclusivity". Although we strive for 100% customer satisfaction, we completely understand how frustrating it must have been to face this situation. Our team is currently working on fixing this wording for future drops. We truly apologize for disappointing you."
well 400K BP isn't even exclusive. you earn it by playing. Exclusive means an item which is impossible to earn otherwise. And so earning BP is not exclusive to Prime.

Correct. Exclusive means something that isn't available in any other place and impossible to acquire by any other means

Damn, that's it!? They couldn't even at least round of up to half a mil?

pretty boring, give me cells or irids if you don't wanna bother making prime exclusive outfits. in fact i'd rather have cells/irids in general.
See my original statement.
That unfortunately wouldnt surprise me.
oh my... people complain about free shlts
Don´t hope that.
You will never get free Auric Cells.
Auric Cells is money - you can buy licensed stuff with it that BHVR would have to pay. BP and Shards are their own currency.
You will never get free Auric Cells.
tbh a charm would be worse lmao. but they SHOULD just give us auric cells
It's not free.
Why? You bought 400K BP with your own money?
It's a reward for a paid subscription.
As a reward for having amazon prime, here is 1 hours worth of gameplay in BP
If they can't give us new outfits, they could at least give us 20.000 shards to buy one for ourselves
