Dwight's actually based on a real person who doesn't work at bhvr but was a friend of the office. Just happens to bear a strong resemblance to MCote as well. A few survivors are like that, the rl version of Jake was on a dev stream once.
"Our game is really frustrating, but we wont fix that so just go play something else" is "Good and legit" advice
Except that the specific question he was responding to was about how the poster was getting genuinely angry and depressed in real life from playing Killer from how unbalanced the game was. How is suggesting they take a break not good advice? The entire stream had the devs already talking about their plans on balancing the game, so what do you think he should've said? Repeating what they had already talked about earlier that stream?
People have taken that quote out of context maliciously for years. No f*cking sh*t he doesn't interact with the community much anymore, with how immature and whiney it is.

You contradict yourself.
Think about it, this person was saying that the frustration of playing killer was damaging them mentally, but they still continued to play despite this, which means that they really care about the game. One of the lead developers saying "You should just play something else" kinda seems like a big middle finger to the people who want the game to succeed

They might care about the game but many of them also want the game to work as they want, without givinig a **** about the other side.
Just take a look on the forums, most of the nerf/buff threads can also be translated into "change this because that's what makes me lose and instead of trying to use my skills to deal with it i rather have you devs to nerf it"
NO! They are precious and must be protected. They enjoy filtered mineral water, nitrogen rich soil and lots of shade. Keep all sharp and blunt objects away from them.

I agree with most you said. While some things can definitely be improved, most of the community just rant on impulse after losing a game and want everything going their way. They basically want to win all the time and every obstacle to that needs to be crushed.

You completely agree with what i said because i said "MOST of the nerf/buff threads", not "ALL" ;)
With the release of our 4th Realm Beyond update, we wanted to highlight the changes to Character Models and Animations, and share a bit about what you can expect to see in future updates.
You are mistaken sir/mam, that right there is Claudeet, Claudettes older sister. She's no longer in the entities realm, Trapper snuffed out the last bit of hope she had.
Tldr: This is an archived version of the DBD forum, it has all posts, comments and media. The archived data will be published at the end of October. This site is not in any way affiliated with or endorsed by Behaviour Interactive.

He's probably playing Civilization or something.
Imagine him as a playable survivor. I bet every single persom playing survivor would pick him.
I will never give up my Claudette. And if they ruin her model with the upcoming model updates, I will riot.
Dwight is probably the closest thing we'll ever have
Wasn't Dwight suposed to be some kind of M.Cote?
Now I will always see Dwight as a Mathieu. Thanks guys.
Maybe I should start memeing as Dwight.
Can't blame him, Civ is such a great game.
That's also one of the reasons why i like him so much, it was a good and legit advice which sadly triggered a few snowflakes.
I would say around the anniversary.Maybe earlier in some other stream
I think we can all agree that Mathieu is our spirit animal.
same pal same
the game wasn't the best when he was here but in the time he left we got the twins I think they are a killer but idk I only hear screaming
Clowns minuscule buff or 3s reload
Broken maps
And there is more but I can't see it over the ui
Maybe he wasn’t in the mood for pointless insults towards his person lately?
i guess we will see him in the anniversary stream though.
He's a living legend. I think we can call him just by "Cote", like "Elvis" or "God".
I can just imagine killers tunneling cotes' strangely?
Were there people actually doing that? That's quite sad
The MC of the ote
I dunno why but I laughed so hard trying to imagine this. Teabaging as him would look so hilarious.
He'll probably be on a Dev Stream at some point, he's also, probably very busy.
Or saying "go play Civilization" while the killer sees you going through the exit gate
Awesome, thanks. Hope to see him soon.
Technically Dwight was supposed to be some random BHVR employee but end concept looked closer to Cote. 😂
At about 34 min mark they introduce the guy Dwight was supposed to look like and they talk about it with concept art. https://youtu.be/skyydYkbpw4

Just wiat till he gets added in then we'll see
....destroy claudettes
I don't know that

Frustrating is a personal feeling, that doesn't mean everyone has to feel the same way when playing killer.

Model Updates? Where'd you find that at.
Second paragraph after the nurse pic.
Thanks.
They changed her once before, Meg and Jake too. 😂

When the game has been doing a pretty good job so far
I always considered Dwight to be Coté
