Obviously fake.
good Edit but it’s fake
That looks VERY convincing, lol. They even have the killer name and everything.
Man it would be awesome if it was true :(
Damn it looks real, where did you find it?
On his phone's SD card of course, lol. JK
Looks great, but definitely fake.
Yeah whered this originate from, the photo.
Looking good but probably fake. I wish it was real, though. I'd love to play as a Xenomorph. These things are seriously scary but meh... It's probably bee boy afterall.
It’ll be fake as it’s photos. If it was true you’d get video as it’s harder to fake (still able to fake video though, just takes more effort)
Definitely a fake
No part of it passes behind the menu HUD, it's model is a bit too clear and nice compared to the rest of the picture, and the "the alien" text is of a different font and color than the rest of the menu text.
A good fake, but a fake.
this is certainly convincing, but once you look closer you see it's fake
Watch it be real and all these people saying fake will be all
Exactly my expression lmao
No, I just think this picture is obviously fake. Degrading audio and image quality is what fakers do to hide defects in their sloppy work. It's harder to spot defects in an image, audio recording, or video, if the entire thing looks and/or sounds like hammered #########.
Ask yourself: why does the supposed photo looks so terrible in the age of smartphone cameras with auto-focus? Some smartphone cameras can take pictures of the moon that are so clear, you can see individual craters. This looks like someone smeared grease on the camera and had a seizure while taking the photo.
If this ends up being real, whoever leaked it should go see a doctor.
I am on Team Fake as well..
mainly because blurr and not fitting height/nothing of the character behind any UI elements.. and don’t chapters come with unique backgrounds nowadays? plus I really don’t want to get my hopes up. Alien would be amazing.
whats the source of the images?
It looks cool but it’s fake.
why is there black goo coming out of the skulls eyes if it’s not alien? What other reference would it be? If it’s not a reference or clue to who the killer is well then, Why is it even there?
but to be honest, I want it to be Pennywise. Alien would be satisfactory. Candyman..... NO... just no. He would be boring
So why bring it up? I didn't take my stance into account when evaluating this or even mentioned it at all.
I'd love to believe it but something about it just doesn't seem right.
The skulls represent the skulls from the DbD logo.
No the black goo. There were jars filled with black goo aboard a space ship on planet LV-223. You know, the egg sacs? Remember those?
Sorry for the leak but it will be the Engineer with the black goo mori
Gotta say that I haven't seen the Alien movies. Just the first AvP movie. Still though, it looks just like the DbD logo anyway as those skulls are dripping the colour black.
You still haven't said where you got the photo from...
Is this real?
@Peanits @PatBrutal @not_Queen
@Rizzo90
Why would the devs confirm whether a leak is real or fake?
Fake=they say it and problem solved
Real=no answer
In my opinion
Or they can,ya know.. lie?
Nobody would ever lie on the internet.
Agreed
The model is probably just directly out of Alien: Isolation.
the background doesn’t look that convincing, if you look closely there are some „white dots“ right from the Alien model for example that are the exact same in both pictures: seems like they used the same background picture 2 times.
I don't really think this is real, but remember how pig's power got leaked? It was a very very low quality screenshot that was hard to read, but it turned out to be true.
Did anyone see Stephen King's deleted tweet he tweeted about 10 minutes ago it read "Can't wait to be scaring the crap out of people in dead by daylights upcoming 'In Space You'll Float Too' Chapter."
I suspect the killer is a PennyMorth.
why are leaked pictures allways shaken?
ikr, lol
No, I don't remember. Do you have a link?
ANOTHER LEAKED PICTURE?!
@Orion
Alien would be the most boring addition to the game in my opinion. We already have one monster (demogorgon), a second one, alien, would be too similar. I'd rather have them come up with an original monster killer than getting alien from the movies.
i think its fake (which doesnt mean the next chapter cant be an alien chapter, just that i dont think these pics are real)
though i would certainly LOVE to get a Xenodoggo to play with!
Couldn't disagree more. You can't seriously want another killer with knife 🔪 surely.
What if it could run low on hands and feet (about Hag height) and quickley. That would be super spooky and scary, I think...
I want Pennywise, Candyman or Pinhead. They are really cool and unique, alien is just too similar to demo and nothing special. Also cosmetics would be really limited for alien.
The pig leak had a little more substance to it as you could see some of her unique perks behind the power description. Plus that leak had the killer and survivor models leaked which where higher quality than this. If this leak is true than where is the survivor model?
I'm personally in team fake, when you see a screenshot as blurry as this you have to be a little skeptical. Although if it's true than I wouldn't mind an Alien chapter.
In situations like these devs tend to stay quiet. If they debunk any leak that came then once a true leak comes if they don't say anything it's basically a confirmation. That's why they never debunk leaks as if a true one comes and they still say nothing there's not a lot people can speculate about.
That's clearly a small version of a regular screenshot. Could've been fake, but it's different from this situation. OP's picture is supposedly a photo of a screen (not a screenshot) that's somehow extremely blurry and jittery despite the fact that smartphone cameras have things like autofocus. OP also hasn't said where they supposedly got this from, as far as I know.
EDIT: For comparison, here's a real picture of a screen that @Dead_by_Gadfly posted in another thread:
See the difference?
It's very easy to create a clean background, the white specs are from embers that appear when you switch a killer, my bet is it is fake.
