  • I heard the devs talking about a feature that allowed survivors to see eachothers perks in the lobby. Is that an update that's still being considered?

  • Simply put, killers have identities and reputations built up through their gameplay. Doctor makes you anxious about those last 3 generators. Myers makes you paranoid and always checking your back. But Leatherface, while not very viable in high ranks, is the one killer you dread being caught out in the open by. Adding more movement speed on Leatherface will help reinforce that identity of be

  • I thought of this idea on making the end-game more fun and exciting. Killers can close the hatch (like it was in the OG PTB). After the hatch is closed, The Entity starts leaving clues/breadcrumbs for both killer and survivor. Killer clues will lead the killer to the survivor, and survivor clues lead to an escape route (whatever it might be). Killer clues consist of trails and faded scratch ma

  • Hey Y’all, I have an idea that might help with the hex totems.

 1. Like NOED a hex totem remains dull until activated. Example Huntress Lullaby: Will remain dull until a survivor is hooked. Then the totem becomes active. This way there is an element of surprise. Also a survivor can’t stumble across your hex before you have the chance to use it.

 This should only ap

  • Self Care, as it is, is balanced. It's one of the only good survivor perks that exists right now because most survivor perks are useless. Killers have many perks they can choose from that benefit them, survivors only have a handful and just because they're used a lot it doesn't mean they're overpowered and doesn't justify a nerf. DS is the only current survivor perk that should be reworked to a n

  • I think No Mither as a whole is conceptually flawed. It all around is more of a handicap than a perk really. It brings you down a healthstate permanently, and it's only real strength disregarding other perk synergies, is getting up from a downed state, which can be summarized as a far worse and situational selfcare. Not only that but it requires at least 2 other perks from 2 different survivors

  • Trapper: Increase base traps he can hold at a time up to 2 from 1, Adjust bag add-ons to allow him to carry 2->3, and 2->4 Make the animation apart of the setting time making it a proper 3 seconds down from 5 Traps on the ground spawn set Traps that are sabotaged will give trapper a cumulative 1% to action speed(I.E. • First of all, "Dance with me" sounds better as a name for this perk. Ok but to the case, it has minimal effect on the killer. Tier 3 of this perk, 75% increased wiggling effect and almost every killer had no or minimal trouble carrying Kate to the hook (with or without agitation or iron grasp) - confirmed after the game. Hiding aura of the hook is situational, so it could stay as it is. It

  • Hello, Devs. It is RogueGoddess. There has been some stipulation on the concept of SWF, and I found that there is a rather easy solution in mind that would be of assistance. No perks would be lost, nothing would be slowed, and everything could be a bit more leveled. One of the biggest problems with SWF, that I have found on PS4, is that a lot of the players are lower level, and all rely on

  • For the past several months for me playing as a survivor I have noticed that The Hag was literally extinct. No killer would choose her whatsoever. Ever since the announcement of her buff/rework earlier in the afternoon, I noticed that a few killers finally started to pick up The Hag. Now currently I am playing as a rank 1 survivor and the past several games that I had I was facing similar ranked

  • Have a skill check on the start of a survivor working on generator. It would be a normal skillcheck that would activate the moment a survivor starts a Gen. Too many survivors use this exploit to not be affected by a perk designed to slow progress. This is an easy fix to this.

  • What do you guys think about changing the mechanic so there's a skillcheck to muffle your scream with increasing difficulty per Madness stage? I feel like it's way to easy to find people with Doctor as he is but I wouldn't want to change his playstyle too much. Currently regardless of the player's skill, stealth/jukes are impaired and can at times simply seem unfair.

  • Okay so my idea is trappers setting time will be lower so he can place them faster while not wasting time of course behavior shared this same interest so here is my twist to it. So my idea is If a survivor gets in a bear trap the trap will instantly down the survivor unless another survivor saves the survivor in the trap now a lot of people are gonna say what is the point of struggling. • Current idea: You become obsessed with one Survivor. Earn a token for each succesful hit that is not dealt to the obsession. Each token grants a stackable 5% decreased cooldown on successful attacks. You can earn up to 8 tokens. Attacking your Obsession will make you lose 2 tokens (tier 3). You can no longer gain tokens if your obsession is sacrificed or killed. Mine: You become obses

  • I have one suggestion, instead of immediately taking the heal back down to 0 if the SC heal is inturrupted, have it gradually degrade. It would only unheal SC heal progress and the degrading would be faster than how quickly SC heals you. By doing this, it’d still have what you’re trying to do (that being not healing in a chase/by the killer), while also letting other survivors still be able to hea

  • I hope this changes to Freddy! Are awesome! Reduction of "Fog" in Freddy's world, only "fog" for the survivors. Reduced sleep transition from 7 to 4 seconds, during the sleep transition, survivors can not interact or are slowed down for 4 seconds. "Wake up" is no longer possible with the Self-Care perk These changes I hope for Freddy, the developers named some changes of these, what do

  • I think that if you’re going to go with the “running will have exhaustion not recover” it should only apply to Sprint Burst. Applying this change to all sprint perks would nerf them too much, and it would also make Vigil virtually useless, seeing as you’d have to be walking to gain it’s effects. If you’re looking for my opinion on SB, I think it’s powerful, but not overpowered. The only change th

  • I LOVE your guys ideas on the Self-Care change as killer main who also loves playing survivor. However I do think it's a little rough to make it an immediate loss of progress if you stop for any reason. Let's say you're at 75% on your Self-Care and a fellow survivor comes over to heal you. It would be faster to hold onto your Self-Care as if you let go to allow the other survivor to heal y

  • I think the best way to balance SWF is to handicap the SWF team itself while leaving the killer and other survivors alone. This way killers aren't being buffed to the detriment of solo survivors, and survivors aren't being buffed to the detriment of the killer. For the most part, a solo-queued survivor and the killer each have 4 perks. Occassionally, other survivors might step in to help, addi

  • The proposed change to Sprint Burst that was revealed on Q&A #2 isn't really going address its main issue and what makes it so strong and picked by so many survivor players. Currently, Sprint Burst allows survivors to instantly burst into a 3 second run speed of 150%. That power alone with addition of aim assist on killers melee attacks can create an effect similar to the Dead Hard's, wher

  • let me begin by saying i love the doc, he's currently my fav killer and i put most of my killer hours into him. That being said, he's only really effective at higher ranks if you have godlike timing or are lucky. I think the problem arises from his stance switching mechanic. Simply put the time it takes to switch stances after shocking someone as they try to vault to hit them takes almost as much

  • I'd like to see a system where certain generators can be activated by interacting with certain power boxes, and you would need to activate 3 of these power boxes to activate all of the generators. Each power box will activate 2-3 generators that are in the area and will only take a small amount of time to complete the action. Having 3 powerboxes prevents the Killer from just camping a power bo

  • I really like the devs idea on making it stun the killer in place and i am honestly elated by the fact that they are considering this as the possible rework. No more bullshit free escapes. A balanced perk that the killer can have some good counter play against while also allowing the survivor more wiggle time or to have a friend get into position too flashlight save or body block. This will make

  • One thing I don’t see brought up on this forum a lot is map discussion. There are a lot of bad maps in this game but I think The Game tops all of them. This map introduced a concept of a multi-layered building with 2 floors, 12 rooms on each floor. Some of the rooms start blocked off, waiting until a generator is finished before the sliding the doors will half open allowing entry. The hatch alway

  • Hex totems are one of the most annoying systems in the game from both a killer and survivor perspective. As a survivor when you start a game and immediately get hit by ruin it feels unfair as you're already being penalized literally from starting the game. Then you either have to complete the generator suffering through the skill-checks or spend your time looking for the totem, which costs you b

  • 1. Make complete Healing process uninterrupted (like breaking totems or sabotaging hooks and traps) - if you stopped for a second, you should start the process all over again. Also increase healing speed, so you would have more chances to patch yourself up without being spotted. explanation: The only part I don't understand about healing that it's completely safe, you could do it wherever you

  • Hey guys, I bet you all have met a host that disconnected immediately after the match started. Lots of you surely put offerings like Bloody Party Streamers or Escape! Cake and were surely disappointed that you've lost it, just because the host disconnected. Well I ran into an idea, that if the host disconnects within like first 1 minute of the game, everyone gets their offerings back,

  • Hag is an ambush killer . But compared to the current top tier killers she suffers without good addons. Low movement speed, lots of setup time, and easily countered traps put her in a lesser spot in the current meta. The Hag could benefit from adding new tools to her kit. There is precedent for adding new abilities to killers since the wraith rework a few months ago added a new blood tracking a

  • Dbd is a game in constant evolution, players growing expertise, introduction of new killers/maps/perks, had made so that in the course of the last year, year and a half, a lot of changes were made to try to cope, or improve the general game experience for both sides (even if usually killer side seems to be the one that most needed attention). Every player has a different level of expertise, and

  • These buffs would work for all killers and are not specific to any killers kit. Note that all of these at the same time would be OP but some can be used and these are just ideas that can be used, stacked or scrapped. 1) 5th perk slot dedicated to a hex perk. This perk slot, instead of being unlocked at level 10, 15 and 20, would be unlocked as soon as you unlock your first Hex Perk. This slot ca

  • A new map usually goes with a new killer. Where would you like those maps to be set? Here's mine: Desert/Canyon : While I'm tired of forests, there's other outdoor environs that could be used. Somewhere set in the American Southwest--sand, beige boulders, scrub grass and cacti. Maybe it's a trailer park, or an open canyon. Underground . Maybe a natural cave system, a subway station, or a

  • Ever since they nerfed it, I had the feeling that taking all of your axes was really overkill. Even with the purple add-on you'd only have three hatchets. I think the nerf was kind of undeserved, and I wanted to suggest something to tweak it a little bit and eliminate the problem, that people might have had with the add-on. The new version would no longer take away from your maximum of hatches

  • There is no mind-gaming there, just a colossal waste of time. Bamboozle was supposed to counter this but it only works on one window so the boosted survivors can still run you through that loop for an eternity.

  • Got a few things i feel would be hella awesome to add to dbd. 1. A game mode with 8 survivors and 2 killers and a bigger map. Have killers compete to please the entity while survs have power ups given by the entity to help them vs both murderers. 2. Hardcore mode for those who think the game is too easy. No hud or auras, 1 perk for survs and killers, no items, no add ons. 3. Cosmetic ideas: -Hu

When the extreme distance animal attack is performed, it will automatically lock and absorb on a certain corner before the human judgment! When the survivor falls under the plank, once the killer picks him up, 90% of the probability will be knocked down by other survivors! (Because of the narrow scope

  • I would like to share an idea I wrote in some other post, too. I thought it would actually fit to the Wraith, being a predator and everything. I had envisoned it like this: The Wraith can now stalk survivors in his invisible state. He does this by simply looking at the survivor in question and slowly fills a meter (He already gets points for stalking someone, might as well add some mechanic t

  • A little self explanatory. I was in a match with a really great flashlight, with the best addons, the killer was a leatherface and was chasing someone, I flashlight save them and he then goes after me, eventually hitting me and getting me away from my flashlight. I do my best to avoid getting hit, using pallets, and all the jazz (key note, I wasn't pallet looping or anything, was just running aw

  • Survivor hitbox when jumping through window is ridiculously big to the point were you can be clearly over the window frame and still take a hit that shouldn't be possible. When you make sure to time it right in an attempt to escape the killer during a chase, it's unfair that this happens.

  • Are they scheduled, like PC releases? Given the certification process that these large updates must go through I'm guessing someone from Sony confirms the completion of the process. But once learning of the completion do you then set a time for the update's release or "push the button", as Mathieu says, as soon as you get the news? If it is the former then will the update be released on Consoles o

  • Hello Folks! I recently thought about a rework on the weakest perks in Dead by Daylight for both Killer and Survivor, since there are a few Perks that are really not worth using in most cases. I really enjoy Build diversity and trying out new synergies between a few perks on both killer and survivor. So a rework/ rebalance on a few perks is a good thing in my opinion. Additionally i thought

  • I've watched enough dev streams to know that creating any Killer that's not humanoid is very expensive, but one can dream. The classic L4D Hunter is a good example starting point. Prowling and leaping at survivors then mauling them sounds very enticing... The Pig is not too far off with her prowling playstyle (even though it's not really viable and most people just walk), but the only thing
