She's been nerfed already via BHVR's incompetence and giving her audio bugs. Maybe stop using busted add-ons and you'll see what most of us are facing when using her, she is hard-countered by iron will which is used all the time and you can't hear anything properly right now with the audio being wonky.
But hey.. two can play this game, when is BHVR going to add ban modes so we can ban DS/DH/BT/UB since they've added SBMM already to this game and have turned it into a competitive game.
-
Needs to be removed from this game, holy smokes its annoying, play as hag and every time your traps go off someone will dead hard out of the way when I clearly caught them off guard, complete horse crap, and every single game it is used to extend a chase, not even once, numerous times, that plus DS and gens being super spread out = killer loses every time versus survivors that aren't drooling all over themselves while playing the game.

No joke, when I load up the game and look at the Killer Menu, I get spine chills and my hands start shaking from the stress and dread of playing another match that may go sour and frustrating and getting BM'ed by a cocky, well-organized and unempathetic Survivor team.
The amount of time it takes for me to mentally prepare myself for a round as Killer is ridiculous.
How do you screw up the atmosphere so badly, that the prospect of playing as the deadly slasher is literally more scary than playing as the meek and hapless victims?
Because this is a "fun party game" that has competitive elements to it now and the game is balanced around complete mongoloids rather than decent players. Imagine balancing starcraft 2 around bronze league players, this is BHVR's method.
-
You have basically three health states versus him. Only one that needs a nerf is survivors with all their hose ######### escape for free perks.

All Seeing addon needs a downside. I would prefer that it stops showing the aura when you start uncloaking.
Why do killer add-ons/perks/anything need a down-side to them whereas survivor ones never do? You probably have to get 3-4 bloodwebs to get one add-on, so they're hardly common in normal matches. He feels alright right now, if the maps were fixed (haddonfiled, mormond or w/e it's called) then he would be pretty good. He relies way too much on his add-ons to be good though.

A killer version of a second chance perk?
The most powerful equivalent is obviously NOED but that can be destroyed and outright prevented.
Ding Ding Ding! If Corrupt Intervention did more than 3 gens and didn't go away until someone did a gen it would be at the same power level as Dead Hard. NOED is a crappier version of DH, the old school NOED (pre-totems and 2 minutes) was at the same power level as dead hard.

Pilot: ps5 to air control, ps5 to air control, we’re about to take off.. <boots up DBD>

The MMR change has made my solo survivor games much better actually as my teammates actually do the gens and will rescue you off the hook and have a brain. The old system was painful for me because my teammates would let me die on the first hook quite often and just were too scared to rescue or do anything, that was annoying. Honestly the MMR system works great for solos but makes my killer games very very very challenging.

I absolutely adore(d) Legion due to their aggressive playstyle with their Feral Frenzy, window and pallet vaults, it was amazing to me, until I got into higher ranks and realized how ACTUALLY UNVIABLE Legion is. Sure, they can slow down the game immensely, but Legion's a basic M1 with no lethality in his rushes, so he gets looped so hard.
After realizing how much of a cutie pie Cheryl was, I decided to try Pyramid Head, and fell in love with all of his unique stuff he does. I loved the ability to just negate loops with my Punishment of the Damned and enjoyed giving Survivors the Final Judgement occasionally, until I realized how easy it is to dodge his PotD and how little Survivors will run through the Trails of Torment in the higher ranks.
I recently played RE3: Remake and loved Nemesis in that game, and how aggressive he was. I decided that I'd give him a try in DBD, since I never really played him that much, and adored the mechanic of the zombies, and enjoyed the tentacle whip as it was an easier to use Pyramid Head ability, until I started to think about how little the Nemesis in DBD actually represents Nemesis... and how hard it is to land whips on Survivors who are behind anything, since the hit boxes on everything is just so big. Can't hit through most windows as I hit the edges. I'm still sticking to Nemesis, but especially with the new SBMM, it's getting harder for me to decide to play Killer each day.
Are you me? I picked those killers and survivor as a main too, haha, but my gripe with nemesis is that you have to either whip people 3 times or he is a basic M1 killer. They need to make his whip injure people immediately and then I think he would be good, he’s not that great ATM.
-
Just aiming for the desired outcome BHVR is aiming for, where I tunnel one person, then the gens get finished by M1 warriors after 5 or so minutes, and then I smack someone with NOED and camp them.. BRUTAL KILLER! So fun!
-
Hard matches as killer, easy ones as survivor. Despite what the killvivor streamers tell you, this game is very survivor-lopsided and if people with an IQ over 80 do their objective (gens) then you will never ever be able to hook everyone 3 times, especially if they're running DS. If survivors play and want to win, you will lose. Survivors want variance in their games in terms of what killer they're up against but if you don't play one of the strong 3 killers then you're going to lose.
-
I play versus players that I can down pretty damn quick and they still manage to do the gens pretty quick because they actually do them rather than go out and scavenge chests/totems and pick their noses. I average probably a 2k now but I really have to camp and use NOED, I don't know how people do it without slugging/camping. If you have a big map you might as well just esc -> leave match, because decent survivors will make you leave the match with only 10-15k BP with a few hooks. Survivors that do the gens will destroy anyone now, my survivor teammates actually have a brain now and do gens which is nice, but my killer games are awful.
-
A meta-ish build I run:
BBQ/Corrupt Intervention/Sloppy Butcher and/or Nurses/Thanataphobia/Monitor and Abuse on small terror radius killers. You can still lose but all your perks actually are useful and there is no RNG on the totems.

Yeah but from what little I know about League, sometimes losses are irrecoverable, if somebody is ultra fed then it's impossible to take them down, just like it's impossible to do 4 gens with 2 survivors alive, or get 12 hooks with 5 gens done.
Had a game where I had your standard South American player that fed and spammed the surrender vote and insulted his teammates in broken English. I was Kog'Maw and farmed up well while my teammates did as the forced 50 percent win teammates do best (they sucked).. long story short: we wiped them and then I was able to take out the mid towers extremely fast and we barely took out their nexus. I think the way the game works now is that it is somewhat a team game, but you can still save yourself if your teammates suck. I like it that way and don't want to lose because my teammates give up.
-
Yes, it is complete horse crap. There is no killer equivalent that acts as a 'get out of jail for free' card. You have NOED but it can be countered with bones. There is no counter to DS, and at high ranks when you're playing a sweat group you need to remove people quickly and not play as a 'Killvivor' a.k.a. a streamer killer. Survivors can hook bomb you and get a BT hook save and then DS you if you try to take them out during EGC. There is no counter to that unless they don't cleanse NOED.
-
Yeah, can’t wait for it to be like League of Legends where your idiot teammates spam the surrender vote instead of trying to make a comeback. That was annoying and demoralizing too. Someone would feed and then would spam the surrender vote. It would be the same here if someone got downed quickly. No thank you!

Traps start counting down when a Gen is done, so if you trap someone and the last Gen done, it will count down.
Yeah but I remember her old builds were centered around playing NOED and bear traps with the endgame. She’s bad now!

Just to make it clear, they will die if they pop if the helmet is active. So if you put a trap on their head and immediately after they pop a gen, they have no choice but to try and take it off or look for hatch. But if you put it on after the last gen pops, then yes, they can walk out of the gate.
Ah I see, I rarely play her unless I have a daily. She’s bad to play and that’s the only way I’ll play her but my build with her is end-game oriented and now realize why Jeff’s helmet wasn’t bleeping after I threw it on his head when the last gen finished. I love BHVR! Nerfing useless stuff since 2017!
-
Wait.. you're telling me they don't go off after all gens are popped? Jesus I've been playing her wrong for a while. She is now officially dumpster-tier as a killer. Her niche was extending the end game and punishing people that rush gens and leave, but now.. wow, she is maybe the worst killer or near the bottom.
-
Big maps make the nurse not so great, small ones make her a god. I’d say blight is better than her on big maps but worse on small ones and the spirit is behind both of them.
-
It’s just BM, haha. I’ve had a gunslinger repeatedly shoot at my body on the ground after he finally caught me. I also enjoy repeatedly chainsawing a cocky survivor over and over again with bubba. Don’t care if I lose, they want to ruin my fun and I’ll do it back to them.
-
Yes I’m a hoarder, I have no shame in showing off how many things I have that I’ll never use!

Also noticed how the range of the pallets seems to be bigger? I mean, i can get hit by a pallet and still have to move closer to it, in order to break it.
It reminds me of the old days with the BS vacuums, I think they mucked around with the hit boxes, wouldn't be surprised if we could be looped more "by accident". Really pissed off because some of those "hits" are match deciding hits. Especially against sweaty rank 1s.

See Bubba and chainsaw or for more skilled campers just grabbing the survivor going for the save
I've played versus bubbas that revved the chainsaw at 5 gens at a hooked survivor and only ended up getting the one. The ones that sit by the hook are usually bad.

Unless they're the Wraith, anyway...
If you can't hear the very loud growling and the shimmers in the distance then I don't know what to say! Sometimes survivors will get sacrificed, that happens! Oh no! It's a lame playstyle but do the gens and you'll escape. Again, I only see these types of bad killers around rank reset time. Good ones may or may not proxy camp/tunnel, but they still struggle versus good players.
-
I live in Asia.
During the day I have about a one minute queue for survivor and an instant queue as killer.
During the evenings I have a 10-15 minute survivor queue and an instant killer one.
We will see how things go from here but if they nerf killer stuff then eventually survivors are only going to be playing versus sweaty meta killers with a long queue time.
-
You need teammates that utilize borrowed time and are willing to protect you. Very rarely do you meet killers that are quick at ending chases and sit by the hook.
-
Enjoy your long queues if killer gets nerfed.

Honestly I've gotten stuns I know I shouldn't have gotten. So I'm on the same side of the pallet as hillbilly he charges at me I throw down the pallet he gets stunned and teleports to the other side of the pallet. Like how does that happen.
It’s back to the pallet vacuum days! Survivors need more safe spaces!!!
-
It’s a “win more” build. You either get them all at 5 gens or it’s just your average swf killer stomp because they spread out on gens. It punishes people stacking gens but punishes the killer if survivors spread out and you’ve got multiple tinkerer procs going off at once.
-
I always get gen rushed into oblivion and walk over to them at grandpa speed and yeah, no idea how you do it!
-
Bad survivors need a rework.
-
Happened to me three times in one game… why man, why?
-
It’s been so long since I’ve had a survivor t-bagging at me and running towards the house.. oh wait, how I remember why everyone hates the map
-
Don’t even know how this ended out in a real environment without proper testing.. it’s ridiculous how bad the quality control is. Come on.
-
Yes, they’ve added it and you can get a stable 8 FPS with it based off of their optimization ability.

Its not random. When freddy got nerfed, all the super toxic players who were just there for the ez kills jumped ship and went on to the next super easy strong killer. And thats wraith, hes not hard to play but he gets results pretty frequently. Its simple, if wraith ever gets nerfed they'll find a new killer to turn into the next toxic stereotype.
Want to know how I know you’re a survivor main?
Hes still a friggin 110 speed, m1 killer that can be looped and survivors can still spread out and do gens…
-
Bad players complain about 110/ M1killers, I never thought I would see the day that people would complain about a very mediocre killer.
-
TLDR!
Cleanse the bones you noob. At most NOED gets one person in the higher ranks, and then the good survivors will cleanse the totem and hook bomb with borrowed time, don’t you worry you little pub scrub, rank 20s I tell ya..
-
I have yet to meet a good trickster. I honestly am quite glad when I hear his chase music off in the distance because I have yet to meet a good one, lol.. sorry!
-
Cleanse the bones or face the consequences.
Sincerely,
A solo survivor player
-
Cleanse the bones and don’t cry, that’s the motto, and I say this as a solo survivor/killer player. SWF have no reason to cry about NOED
-
DBD is one big grind, I think if you want to be a completionist it’s worth doing, I just am slowly aiming at getting those P3s done on everyone and getting the tomes all finished too. The cosmetics that you can buy and/or get from the rift blow away the P3 ones though, and only Freddy and Nemesis at the moment do not have any cosmetics I believe. But all subject to change.
TLDR only go for it if you’re a completionist looking to do a huge grind.. but that’s what the game is all about IMO so it’s worth it
-
Run perks that will hold the hands of the people that somehow have ended up in your lobby and probably had a lobotomy beforehand.
Borrowed Time for the campers
Prove thyself to rush gens and easy BP
Deliverance for obvious reasons
Any exhaustion perk or Bond so you can save yourself
Do all you can and don’t quit. Make the solo survivor experience better.
-
If I’m feeling stealthy and have challenges that require me to play that way I’ll usually play as Adam. He has a black trench coat and you can easily juke people in the bushes with him and/or hide in dark places. He’s a beast and definitely the best stealth survivor. Female survivors with any dark clothes will work too because they’re tiny and hard to see in general.
-
The amount of times and ways that survivors throw games is astronomical, this is a deterrent to those that are passionate about throwing matches and need to be treated like a toddler because they haven’t learned to not ruin things for others yet. Act like a toddler and enjoy the timeout. Don’t let the gate hit your diaper on the way out.
-
If all I see is the unhooked person and the other person is a ninja, I'll eat the DS and finish them off. Survivors need to work together sometimes, I am not going to just "let you go" because you are entitled. Don't want to tunnel? Then give me someone else to chase. I only tunnel when the person is a troll or I don't see the person that rescued. As for the people that play "efficiently" and tunnel, well that's too bad, but I am sure those people eat DS all day, it is what it is. Work together a bit and tunneling isn't that big of a problem, I see killers trying to tunnel and I will body block them and "pull aggro" so to speak. Try a little bit and enough with the QQ. Don't expect anything from either side and you'll enjoy the game more, just expect the worst and put up the best fight you can, that's all you can do..

You can use both Enduring and Brutal, they do stack. And certainly dropped pallets are common enough that you would get benefit from both every match. Of course that is two slots specifically to help in chases with pallets so that means giving up a tracking or slowdown perk but if just shrugging off pallets gains you back enough time efficiency then it could be worth the investment.
Also I would argue Brutal can work on Blight as well since Blight is uniquely able to catch up to survivors with Lethal Rush after breaking the pallet. Technically Blight also can break pallets using Lethal Rush but that only helps in certain situations, if Blight gets stunned by a pallet then using Lethal Rush to break it at that point isn’t faster than just breaking it normally.
Good info on the blight! I always run the sweaty loadout on him, but maybe I'll have to try out brutal strength on him sometime to see how that works.
-
Brutal is only useful on the clown, everyone else is better off with enduring if you're doing a pallet-oriented build. I think that you can't go wrong with bamboozle on a lot of killers too as it shuts down the killer shack and jungle gyms and makes you vault quicker too. Enduring + Bamboozle on a lot of killers is an amazing combo (especially M1 killers).
-
Everything seems okay on my end. I think that having a darker environment is good for the game, and am happy with the direction they're heading in with these maps. I am tired of bright maps that are gigantic <cough cough> mount ormond <cough cough>.
