That looks pretty cool haha
. Was it super dark for the survivors as well or is it just a killer related bug? -
Pretty nice! Keep up the good work and doing what you love
! -
As far as i know, gens don't go faster when the killer closes the hatch, and yes you should still be able to open it with a key.
This is what i heard and not experienced myself so it might not be 100% correct.

I honestly don't dislike anything from 'The Clown' so far, i can understand it's a bit annoying to get caught by the gas and being hit, but it certainly isn't something that needs to change imo.

Looking nice so far, keep up the good work! Hope you are having a nice day.

Anyone sharing their experiences from the PTB and the Hatch so far?
For me everytime i closed the hatch, i felt regret, my games last 5-10 minutes longer looking for a survivor who's too scared to do anything and hides a lot (which i can understand). I'd rather have that survivor escape then and play my next game where things are happening.
I just gonna keep it open, i let the last survivor escape once i finally found them because i can't imagine it being fun for both parties to search or hide the entire time. Doesn't feel worth it just for that last kill.

It happened to me as well, it seemed like it got bloodpoints from an older date. My perks on Tapp got reversed as well from what i had a couple of days before.

It just ain't good (imo) how they are lit up straight at the start.
I would love to test out huntress lullaby and third seal more for example, but most of the time they rarely last a minute in the game.
Bit of thinking could be that they aren't lit up before certain requirements are met:
Hex: Ruin -> One gen needs to pop before one totem becomes a hex totem
Huntress's Lullaby & Devour hope-> Two people need to get hooked before one totem becomes a hex totem
Thrill of the Hunt would be better as a regular perk to be honest..
Third Seal -> After hitting every survivor once one totem becomes a hex totemAll of the effects are active straight from the start (so the first gen they need to do has Ruin effect on it, but no totem yet to get rid of it).
And if survivors decide to cleanse all normal totems first, they punish themselves for the Lightbringer emblem and they will get less points.Things like that, this is just what i thought of in 5 minutes 'tho, needs some adjustments.

Fair enough. It is essentially game over at that point. I still believe my first point stands however.I've received feedback from several players as to who to prestige and some have suggested that Bill wasn't the best due to his moaning - which really made me experiment with different characters sounds in game as well as the frequency of their groans. Admittedly I have not gone into extreme detail with measuring sound levels and in a kill your friends lobby, however it is noticeably louder when you are playing the character and actually listening out for the groans.
This makes me kinda sad as I am a huge fan of the L4D series and Bill pretty much got me into the game.

If Bill is the main reason that got you into the game, you should play with Bill. Don't step away from what you like, even 'tho the game might be harder because of the moan, there's always iron will to counter that if you really want to.
Now it will be in your head that everytime you get found while being hurt, it's because of Bill his moan. With another survivor you might've been found as well but that's what you can't exactly know, because every game is different.
My advice is simple:
You like Bill a lot, play as Bill.
I can't tell if it is louder, but always play how you want, and with who/what you like. Despite the result it will give you the most amount of fun. -
I'm looking forward to everything
New killer/survivor, perks, maps, the cosmetics, gameplay changes....
No matter what happens i love to adjust after updates, even when things get more difficult or less powerful.
I find it fun to adapt and make the most out of every situation.Bring it on!

Hindered will lower a sprinting survivors movement speed from 100% down to 96.25%. I'm not sure if that alters walking/crouch speed at all though.Awww, that's a bit dissapointing that it only does 3.75% :[.
Never looked up the stats for that so thanks for sharing the knowledge, have a good day! -

I can understand that people really want to see a change but for me personally, the hatch isn't a problem at all. The closing mechanic seemed ok, but i can imagine survivors just hiding out somewhere, keeping the game hostage, and making it even longer instead of actually doing something
Having 3 kills as killer is great already, having a psychological battle with another player by simply waiting, just for getting the 4th kill, it just seems so absurd for me.
People can do what they want but i rather just roam around looking for a survivor out in the open and feeling Lucky, than creating a waiting game to see who presses M1 first.
But again, that's just me. -
I'd love for Meg to have different 'sport' outfits that have flags on them, people can rock their pride in DbD, or get killed and put their country to shame...
But that would be a bit too much i guess
. -
I'm very happy that i can already play it tomorrow, i thought i had to wait a couple more weeks! I don't think many of us expected to be playing the new stuff so soon! Positive thinking

Some perks activate when the last gen is done, some perks could also deactive when the last gen is done, might as well do that with Decisive to give it a little bit of a nerf.
Or another thing i had in mind is that decisive strike doesn't immediately put you off the killer's shoulder, but it gives a huge increase on the struggle bar.
If you succeed with decisive the struggle bar goes to 80% and you have to struggle a little bit more to get off. Meaning that it is still effective if you run far away from hooks on purpose but if the killer is close to a hook he at least won't lose all his progress after a (maybe) very long chase. -
I'll do my best to get along with everyone, otherwise i'd be on the hook the entire game
.But in all seriousness... i have no idea, Feng Min maybe... i can appreciate the competitive attitude and i'll be there to support her because things got so rough!
-
I find this a hard one to find good solutions for, but indeed the SB activating after a couple of seconds while running could be convenient.
In terms of the stealth killers (Myers/pig/wraith) getting punished by the perk is indeed annoying, it's logical that a perk can counter an ability but SB is very common and you might get your ability countered by 4 survivors in one game. Maybe a 'stealth' fix to it is that SB only triggers in the terror radius, so when the wraith uncloaks you can hear him anyway and the terror radius could appear a couple of seconds after he's fully uncloaked (so that he can use his speed burst effectively), for the pig the terror radius appears after she's done with her Dash attack and for Myers.. well.. he can get a good hit or stalk a good amount of the survivor who can't run away so fast.
It is a big downgrade for the perk but survivors can cover a massive distance after they are hit and get their gameplan going from there, while the killer also made progress in hurting someone, preventing them (probably) from doing gens really fast once they escaped. -

The hag is my favorite she was the first killer I tried out(mind you I did awful the first few matches I tried her)and she is the killer I have the most game sense with I love tactical approaches in games and shes based around just that!! and Im doing really well with her now win more than I lose a matchGood job, keep it up! There's few Hag players out there so i'm always happy to see people enjoy her!
Hope you're having a nice day and have fun with your games! -
This was a pretty hard choice to make...
I choose Meg because she's the one i started with, i played a lot of Feng Min as well so it could've been either of them for me.
But... that new survivor from the teaser 'tho... she might take the #1 spot soon...

I'm going with Tapp but i like all of them to be honest.
I also really like his perks, they ain't the best but i like to use them. -
It ain't always easy to deal with those situations, but keep in mind that no matter what you do, good or bad, people will always find something to bring you down or to point out.
Keep on finding enjoyment in what you do and find satisfaction in how you want to play the game, there will always be complaints, people will name you things that won't make sense, but in the end it is still a game which is not perfect and creates some bad situations. There's not much to do about really bad comments or insults/threats, they can stay in your head and ruin your day. It's a skill to move past them and keep on going, it takes time and experience.

The game is very hard for new players, especially when rank reset is there and you can get paired with really good players, for now you should be good 'tho. Rank reset happens every 13th of the month and puts players with high ranks back to lower ranks.
I'd honestly recommend to play killer first, the survivors can be really annoying with T-bag gestures and very good loops that can make you lose the game, but it's important to know how the game works. As killer you will learn more about scratch marks, sound notifications, gameplay... All of that will eventually come in handy when you play survivor as well, because you know what the result of your actions will be towards the killer.
For really basic gameplay i'd recommend 'The Trapper' or 'Wraith', but be warned that these killers ain't powerful, they should give you a feel of the game 'tho. If you want a powerful (free) killer, you can try out Nurse or Hillbilly, they have a different playstyle but after some games you should get the hang of it and probably get some satisfying hits
. -
Voted for the hag but i like a lot of them.
I just find it very enjoyable to play as the hag with Mint Rag and Rusty Shackles, i teleport to somewhere and they don't expect it, always hoping i gave them an enjoyable spook while they play
.But i really like huntress, doctor and nurse as well, they change the survivor gameplay (imo) and that's what i like.
-
The Pig for me! Never played so much Killer before she got released, now i love it! Even 'tho she's far from the strongest, i just really love to play with her, being sneaky at times, getting heads to pop.. It's all very satisfying and that's the most important part, no matter if i get 0 or 4 kills
.
