I also think the game has come to a point where it feel more as work then anything else
If you see the game as work take a break.
I assume you know you get breaks at work right?
Some places give you PTO days so you take a longer break.
I don't belive that a game feel like work, is conected with amount of time in the game.

Yea if you are not running meta it seems gens can fly. If you want to go for chases then you should just run CI, PR, and Pop. Basically the meta before 6.1 which makes downing a survivor give massive slowdown.
I have too ask Call of brine, would you say they nerf it in a good way. because I understand way they nerf it, but the way by lower its numbers. Feel like ruin it's use

I've had luck with Jolt and Deadlock against TB+BNP groups. Sometimes you need to let further gens go and control an area.
Edit: Forgot to mention that a smart survivor will try to lead you away from people doing gens, usually just drop chase and pick up on someone else, causing a decent amount of value from Jolt.
I use Jolt on ghostface, and plan too test is on plauge

https://forums.bhvr.com/dead-by-daylight/discussion/380097/gen-looping-to-end-game
The buff to pop has brought it back up to usefulness again, 30% of current progress on top of the 2.5% total progress in basekit makes it so to reach the old 25% pop the gen only needs to be at around 55-60% progress. Because of that i have been rolling around with a few different builds that works well on most killers:
- Gen Defense:
- Pop Goes the Weasel
- Scourge Hook: Pain Resonance
- Lethal Pursuer
- Scourge Hook: Floods of Rage
- General strategy is to use lethal to find a target quickly, and pain res a gen hopefully before it gets done, using lethal to get an idea of which gen it was. Then run to it and pop it. By the time that happens i have regressed that first or second gen a ton and can start the snowball from there, using floods of rage to help me in a chase
- Hex Build:
- Hex: Devour Hope
- Hex: Undying
- Hex: Pentimento
- Hex: Haunted Ground
- This is a build that i think scott jund has started using recently but i have used it for a while on more m1 killers and it leads to good success. Generally, if they don't cleanse totems, you get devour rolling and the game comes to a screeching halt when that happens. Or, if they start doing totems, they are likely to hit haunted ground, and if they do, the game again comes to a halt as they all start hiding. Once they start doing totems Pentimento slows the game down.
- Most games i find that i have 2-3 stacks of pentimento going and the game is slowed down so much that the survivors are basically forced off the gens to do the totems, of which there are many at this point, giving me time to get 2-3 hooks before they cleanse them all and swinging the game to my favor.
- If they proc haunted grounds on their first totem cleanse you have an opportunity to get a 5 stack pentimento which is amazing. So i'll try to hold off using pentimento until they get a few gens done to see if they cleanse them all. 5 stack pentimento with 2 gens up is basically a guaranteed win at that point.
- Slug Build:
- Knockout
- Jolt (Or another if using a killer that uses their power frequently)
- Infectious Fright
- Sloppy Butcher (or addon that gives it and swap for something else)
- I like to run this build if i get in the lobby and see like a ton of flashlights, so i know they are gonna go for a bunch of flashlight saves.
- The goal of this build is fairly obvious, you just slug everyone and never hook. Even if you might be tempted to, just never hook. Be prepared to get a lot of hate for running this. But it is actually quite effective. Sloppy slows the game down to a crawl as they try to pick each other up and heal (generally people try to heal up when they see slug builds) and infectious allows you to immediately start another chase if you can, OR if infectious DOESN'T go off, you can still use the information from that to find out where the survivors are, by eliminating where you know they aren't. So even if infectious doesn't go off, don't hook the survivor, go to where you know they must be based on that.
- Knockout makes it so it takes a while to find them and slows down their recovery, sloppy keeps everyone injured, and you'll be downing so many people that jolt will proc many many times on the same gens as people try to power through them and forgo healing once they realize sloppy is in the picture.
- I don't think the new slowdown perk that slows survivors is actually good on this build because it is too short of range to do anything about. The exhaustion one might be decent if only to deal with the new made for this perk, but in general i find jolt to work much better. I'd consider swapping Jolt for some more passive slowdown like deadlock if you are using a killer that uses their power a lot like wesker or something. Or thana if you are playing someone who can injure a lot, like legion or plague.
When I see ''current progress'' on a perk, my mind often go, okay bad. But mabye I should give it another chanse, also thanks for the build discribsion. Slug builds I think will be more commen, If current trends keep going.

My only 2 problems with DBD monetizing is solo surveiwer chapters and the price on basegame
the solo surveiwer chapters cost the same as killers and in both cases of the surveiwer chapters they had a overpowet peck that made everyone buy them.
as for the base game I just think asking 20 erou on steam is extremly over price for what you get

Resilience and Off the Record for the surveiwers.
for the killers I would have said Scourge Hook: Pain Resonance, but it has been nerf to a bad state.

If your perks are important enough that your teammates should know what they are, then you should have told them before the match started.
I for one don't need children telling me what they do to my mother on a normal basis, thank you very much.
Then mute voice chat, I wan't it to make it better to work togehter. But I don't wan't people are force to use it, but I can't for the life of me see a reason. That the voice chat is there and people can mute if need be, you are really telling me you never notice that VC has a mute option in all games. Because game dev know there will always be a bad actor, but also know that teamwork need communication.

We joined an instance, and i left my computer 20 secs (tops) to show my wife how to do, one from my team saw that i was afk short while, he spend the rest of the match following me around and screaming all hes lungs could, about my moms private parts...
A big NO thank you to this suggestion.

So I'm not allowed to disagree with people otherwise I'm "dismissing?" Again, seriously, go find me a video of the scenario I mentioned, because until then there's deadass no reason to argue that bubba camping someone on the hook for a 1k somehow isn't uncounterable
Run to hook find or make a opening to unhook, his chainsaw is a big risk for him and if does not use it, then he is just a m1 killer.
when unhook happen, bubba go for a chainsaw swep. Run into locker and wait for tantrum end, the momment it end. You have to get out, this not easy. when you have gotten out you are pratical save, if he get you or anybody else. After you got out of the locker, then the blame is on the person who got taken. For doing a miss play, he has not have much going for him.
I say you dismissing, because you are dismissing. I tell 4 out is not that it need any help to happen and you think that I am a killer main, but I follow the bloodpoints.

Why do killers care if the survivors have a boring experience getting a 4 out anyways? Also that's cool that everyone else says it's fine or too easy but they are just unarguably wrong in the case of the killers I mentioned. Show me a video of a team with no perks getting a 4 out against a camping bubba, please
and this comment is why I ask if you a troll.
4 surveiwers with no perks is really good in most cases.
also I would you are the unarguably one, you dismiss what people tell you and don't even read comment too the end.

Honestly I had thought ppl wanted ds disabled in endgame to make 4 outs harder, but I think the reality is ppl don't want 4 outs to be harder, they want them to be impossible
What people wan't is to make 4 out, a big thing.
They wan't it too be a heart pounding thrille ride, where people are yelling yes when they get through the gate.
Or atleast they want something closer too that, then killer can look at 4 surveiwers. Who can play around and make a fool out of the killer. You say it impossible, but everyone else say it is fine or to easy.
-
I would use killers who can use the fact that Hex need to be taken down.
I use it on: Pig, Doctor, Trapper and skullmerchant and three out of does 4 can easy protect the hex and one of them just gift surveiwers more to do.
Put I can't see it be good on legion, they don't really have time to focus on the hex

If anything it sounds like you're the one who doesn't want an L in the end because not getting any kills is apparently really that devastating? You know why endgame is a pain for killer? Because they're probably about to lose the game, or do you want that to just never happen?
I am fine with getting 0 kills, but in that case all I can do is wait before I can go too a new map.
And there is 4 people who know I can't do anything and won't leave before they have shown me how powerless I am.
And you won't that to be even more commen, honestly if down, hook and 3 other players can't save. Just say ''gg what a game'', because to be honest, you basicly asking the samething as a killer who ask for the hatch not spawning if he 3 kills before all gens are done and the gates can be open before the last player fix the remaning gens.

Bubba, hillbilly, oni, plague, huntress (particularly with cooldown addons or iri head), trickster, pyramid head, stbfl, myers, pinky finger, original pain, etc.
All these killers/tools allow killers to pretty much guarantee or near guarantee a kill for free just by camping someone on the hook. I can understand the anti-camp system being disabled in endgame being more fair for the average killer, but that's not a luxury these other killers should get.
It is so unarguably stupid that a bubba can get their first down in the endgame and then guarantee they die just by camping the hook. As survivor it doesn't matter how good you are or how well you played the rest of the game, if the killer has someone hooked in endgame, they're gonna die and that's that unless someone has deliverance.
I have no problem with the general endgame camping scenario where survivors can coordinate a 4 out if they work well together, it's when these tools are involved that it's a big issue.
Obviously I don't mind if any buffs are implemented to compensate for any of these things becoming worse at camping, especially myers, I definitely don't think Myers needs a net nerf.
Maybe a hot take but getting to endgame with 4 survs alive is way WAY more deserving of a 4 out than getting 1 hook is deserving of any kills, as to say, getting a single hook doesn't deserve a kill *in the slightest*
what about no, this just make endgame more of a pain for killer and it is realy bad right. killer can only wait for the other team too leave, if they had a bad game with no endgame perks. And it is not uncommen for that to be drownout, what you are asking is giving killers a harder time for a bad game. Because you don't wan that L in the end, it does not sound fair too me.

Or my team mate tell me ''I have Repressed Alliance'' now I know I am being a road block and have too go away. And everyone will feel better, because players can be teammates.

https://forums.bhvr.com/dead-by-daylight/discussion/comment/3432944#Comment_3432944
2. Instead of voice commands I would like something similar of a ping system or pre-written message system like the one on mobile. There you can click on messages like "the killer is near me", "I go rescue", "focus on gens", "don't finish this Gen" and more. These messages are then shown to the others for a few seconds.
- as someone who have playede Friday 13th the game, TF2, counterstrike, wow and left 4 dead 2. I know how much voice chat can make games where you play with others less headic

As a killer and survivor main I gotta say hexes in general are pretty weak since If a survivor runs any sort of totem build for boons or inner healing then the hex is going to be found pretty fast and even if then there’s always a chance the hex is gone within the first gen.
I suggestion for quality of life to hexes in general is make it to where a survivor has to complete a generator in order to cleanse a hex totem if not the the entity will block the totem until the survivor completes a gen.
Either that or decrease the cleansing speed which hexes are cleansed without thrill of the hunt and rework thrill of the hunt into something more useful
Edit: another idea I have for hexes is maybe make a side objective to do that takes like 30-60 seconds and until the objective is don’t the entity will block the hex or a merciless storm like set of skill checks
The only thing's about hex and boon I would chanse is
you can't blesse a hex totem, to make hex more of a counter to boon
or
Killler break boon as base kit, nerf boon basic
and Hex spawn far away from surveiwer

you could also just slug them

Casually maps in which main buldings have a second floor that has no hooks. It is not casual, and survivors use offerings to go to those maps.
Condemn Sadakos are a bad example, they do work most times.
Scratched mirror Myers is also a bad example, it has counterplay. He is slow and has no access to bloodlust, appart from not being able to lunge.
Boil Over on second floors has no counterplay most times unless that floor has a hook, and when used with sabo and no mither it forces a slug, which nobody wants due to the boredom it brings. And you may say that the perk by itself is not the problem, well same thing happens with Call of Brine and it got nerfed, so if that perk was worthy of a nerf, Boil Over is as well.
Is there not a killer perk that counter boil over?

@MSX_exe said:
One of my biggest complaints when playing killer are:
1. Maps (thankfully they're slowly getting looked into)
2. Spawn locations
Because of the RNG of spawn locations you can load into a small map and go straight ahead where everyone spawned and pressure all 4 survivors or you can load in the middle of Azarov's resting place where all 4 survivors spawn separately and by the time you finish one chase, 2 or 3 generators get done just because you got unlucky with spawns. Also, when you load into a big map as a low mobility killer, if you check an area where survivors didn't spawn, they can get one generator done before you even find anyone. This is purely down to luck, unless you run 1 or 2 early game perks that help you with that. People will probably say something along the lines of "just run Corrupt Intervention and/or Lethal Pursuer". But the same logic could've been applied to survivors over a year ago, "if you don't want the killer to runnel, run Borrowed Time, if you don't want to get face camped, run Deliverance or run Kinship", yet survivors got both Borrowed Time and Deliverance partially basekit. The reason Borrowed Time was so popular is because it felt necessary to bring, same as today why Corrupt Intervention is one of (if not, THE) most popular killer perk. It's so good because it allows the survivors to not get a headstart on the killer, because if you don't run that perk, 2-3 survivors can spawn on different generators with toolboxes and brand new parts and do 50% of 2 generators each before the killer can even find anyone. I recently had an instance where I posted on Reddit a match of Ghostface on Grim Pantry, I spawned at shack, 2 survivors spawned in the main building and 2 spawned to my right, I got a survivor marked as soon as I came to main, got a down in less than 20 seconds because the survivor played clumsy, and just as I got a hook, a generator got done, which I couldn't do anything about just because they spawned separately. It's really devastating as killer to see that. That's already 1/5 of their objective done when I just got my first hook. In my opinion, this is unfair and spawn locations need to be looked at and changed. Alongside that, I think Corrupt Intervention needs to be partially basekit like Borrowed Time and Deliverance got, that will help mostly low mobility killers that need it the most. My suggestion, have it active for X amount of seconds until you find a first chase or hit. The perk remains the same so it doesn't feel necessary to bring, but a nice thing to have.
Before anyone calls me an inexperienced and entitled killer main, I have 3000 hours in this game and most of them are on survivor, but I'm pretty experienced as killer too.
Please let me know your thoughts.
(Also, nerf off the record and bring back Decisive Strike to a 5 second stun, please).
this is to the spawn, I think for totem that need fix. As for killer and finding surveiwer I think the problem there is, we have 2 perks that help you there, but you need 2 differnt chapter for them and new players who need those 2 most. might not get those chapters, so it is more a new players are trouble kind of deal.
and yes DS need too go back up to 5 sec, I player mostly killer and this perk I never see it and would love too see it more

I only see it being used to BM, antagonize, or annoy the killer.
I just want to point in the killer's direction, not give away my location to headphone killers.
I think if we make it so that if the killer is in ear shoot of it rather then hear it they get a reval location, but if there is a ithem like radio or recoder, you can then trick and play a mind game against the killer. Or make perks around sound commands, like a perk that make it so the killer hear it from another direction or make voice command to the killer to get them follow you. you could even make a perk where after the killer hear that voice command they don't hear gen or other play for a time, it would be a Quick Gambit combo peice

The devs should consider giving the survivor emotes an audible function, akin to clicking your flashlight to get another survivor's attention.
Pressing the key/button to use the Beckon emote once just does the beckon gesture, but pressing it twice back-to-back makes the survivor also go "Psst!" while beckoning.
Same for Pointing. Once for the emote only, twice to make your character go "Shhh."
----
These are easy to implement since those sounds are hardly affected by race or gender.
Just don't make it audible to the killer and put in a cooldown for the audio portion of the emote to prevent survivors from spamming it annoyingly.
I would say ceep it audible too the killer, Because I can see way more use of that in time

- You can play and enjoy an online game without having a desire to listen to people scream obscenities at you.
- Lets say they add this, and it becomes default, and more people use voice chat. That means survivors will end up being more effective, and will need to be nerfed (as a whole). This means that Actual Solo Survivors, those who continue to opt out of VC, will get nerfed because of others using VC. Hence, this would be WORSE for Actual Solo Survivors. If you want VC, you're not a Solo Survivor, you're a SWFer without a group, get a group, it's not hard, there are loads of discord groups out there.
- TF is 'voice command'? Like Siri?
- yes you can do that, but nobody say. Oh damn it has voice chat, if I did meet anybody that did that. Then I would tell them that online multiplayer is not the type of game for them.
- I said it was a local, mening short range from from. So I can say run, stop or help.
- voice command, like click a button and your avatar say ''medic'' or ''yes'' or ''no'' or ''scotland is not a real country'' a voice chat if you have no mic

Not gonna happen. Most do not want this and it will make the game actively worse for it. Nobody wants 12 year olds screaming racial slurs at them, or people playing their terrible staticy music down their mic, or just randos telling them what to do. If this was in the game, it would be considered the default, so survivors who opt out would be dodged or sandbagged, and the game would end up having to be balanced around it, which means those who do opt out would be even worse off.
Voice Chat already exists as an opt in system, find other players and join them on discord.
1: you telling me, that it is bad when people will miss use it, Somthing you can report people for doing. Also who play Oline multiplayer game where communication is a deal breaker.
2: you then say oh it is bad for the game balanced, but right after tell me to do SWF. Like that would not work better for a SP.
3: you never adresse voice command, only voice chat. Please gift a feedback on that too

Because even if don't do that as a killer people are still claiming I do.
Sorry just had to get it out

That's what I mean. He doesn't look historical and the map is a little aesthetically underwhelming, to be honest. I'm talking about something that is strongly historical in aesthetics.
If the upcoming chapter is not good for what you are asking, then no.
Because you are not asking for historycal correct, you asking for YOUR historycal correct.
BHVR does do some good history chapters (mostly killers)
But that can only be seen if you read and analyse your sources

Okay, so I must admit that this treaht is weird to read, If you are a horror fan and know just a bit of history, but also if you look at the game lore. Let me break it down
Point 1 the horror genre: Horror have use sexaul theme in them for ever now, monster lure people to an early grave with there sexy body, is the most commen in old story. But when horror was begeing to go on the big screen, it became more a thing for the victem to beatyfull and in the 1970's sex was a big topic. Do to the youth movement in 1968, horror reflected that and in the 80's it became none every where in horror (slashes is the one who use it most and is big factor for dbd identeti)
Point 2 the history: okay this is kind of simple, DBD never claim to be histroycal correct and most people can not claim that they know how people dress in the middelages, that is a timeline from 500 to 1600. Just try to think how maney people live in such a long life span, there have to have been some saying ''I dress however I wan't'' just like today
Point 3 the game: WE HAVE MAGIC, THE SAW, TEXAS CHAINSAW, RESIDENT EVIL AND RINGU FRANCHIS IN THE SAME PLACE. I mean come on people, But it make no sence that peopel runing have naked to survive. 1 peopel never chose when there live is in danger and they have run, 2 the enterty can take peopel right out of the shower. It make less sence that there is not one in there undes, It make less sence that we got Attack on Titan outfit if we talk lore. What is the enterty a big otaku or weeb, I'm more sad that we have seen littel to no sexy halloween costum, but have 2 sexy male surviver's who get a ton of sexy outfit's. I claim foul!!
So yes in the end, I just wish for more sexy or fun outfit's. I mean ''villege people'' outfit's to men and sexy devil and angel outfit to the women, that kind of outfit's one's in a fullmoon could be good if I must be honest.

Why make it basekit when you can use the perk, I don't get people saying things is a problem and there is perk to counter those problem, but people are not using them, but say they should be basekit.
Am I'm not getting something or what?
-
Okay then I was wrong
-
Okay why does people forget there is a hand full of anti sluging perks?
If sluging become so big, why not use these perk, I mean Bill have one of the best and he come with the base game
