I still don't see a problem here.
You can't just claim the killer wouldn't leave the area. If he doesn't leave - that's okay, I get killed, I'm okay with that. But if he gets kindly notificated by The Entity after one minute that I'm currently sitting in that locker - that's questionable.
One minute is not half the endgame when there's a downed survivor.

Did the Billy have Whispers?
Because if he didn't have Whispers he wouldn't have know to just wait somewhere for your to show up.
Also, in professional circles we call this a "check mate". Does it suck? Yes a lot. Does it need to be fixed? Not so much.
Wasn't really paying attention, since I was discouraged by the ridiculous fact that the AFK system in the videogame gets you killed.

Crows are fine, and that isn't camping because he didn't know you were there, and if he did know then you were dead anyways and again, that isn't camping.
If he didn't know, what did you do hide in a locker right near the gate? He was probably just sitting at the gate waiting for you or the match to end, and you hid in the worst spot possible and naturally it eventually got you killed and it would have regardless.
It also urks me you actively call him a camper, like it's HIS fault in some manner, which is obviously nonsense.
I was by the exit gates when the killer downed the second survivor on the other side of the map. The third survivor decided to leave, I decided to save my teammate and got stuck between the shack and the exit gates since the killer already made it to me. I had two choices: either hide in a locker inside the shack and wait till the killer goes back to just downed survivor and then leave the game, or get downed by the NOED. The killer decided to snoop around the shack for approximately a minute. There legit were no chance I could get out of the locker unnoticed. Who knows, maybe they would even go back to the downed survivor, but one-minute-bored Entity gave me no opportunity to find out.

@willcenx No it should not be "fixed" as it is not really a problem, super rare and the effect you requested has far more negative impact. I think it is a quick shot in a way of you got temporarily frustrated and posted about it. The "solution" you offer is simply a bad idea and it will not be a common situation.
Unfair? If the team didn't manage to cleanse 5 totems until endgame, that's a survivor problem they could have ironed out during the game. If this happens it is simply a bad position you (the team) has put itself into.
Crows serve like an AFK indication? This is not the only purpose of crows. The patch notes say "survivors that bore the entity". You don't have to be afk, you can stall the game by hiding in a locker. Or would you prefer 45 minute games where the killer runs around the map opening every locker?
The behaviour above has no gens around anymore. You are talking about a NOED situation which is endgame. If there would be gens to do and the killer camps a locker, be happy to waste his time while your team does the gens. So I believe you that the killer will not stay and then you don't have problems with crows. What's your point?
And if the killer chases, you can leave the locker. And then the killer isn't camping. And that wouldnt be unfair in any way or related to the crows. If you stay in a locker for over a minute, in any of the above situations, it is simply your fault. And regarding the AFK: again like above. If you bore the entity by idling in a locker scared, you get the crows. That's the point
You started talking about the people who would be encouraged by this change to idle out decent portions of match hiding in a locker, I responsed that it wouldn't work out for them since the killer won't just camp a single area where they are, once again, idling out. Respectively, they will have to move to the next area. So, it turns out their behaviour stays the same even after this change. What's the point of giving this example? It won't encourage, as I think you're trying to call it, bad plays (not sure how this is even a bad play since it seems like a solid tactic).
And nope, it's not my fault if the game decides to punish me when I'm trying to play smart and don't leave the locker, it's simply a bad design, for which I propose a simple solution.
And nope, I'm not scared of the killer or anything, I'm trying to, once again, play smart, and The Entity is kind of dumb to not see that. Now we're back to the previous paragraph.
Also, I'm not talking about the unfairness of the killer having NOED, I'm talking about the unfairness of inability to wait out till the killer leaves due to these crows. Sorry, I'm not a prophet to predict that the killer is going to hang out in the area around the locker I've chosen to stay in. Turns out it's a simple RNG that decides my fate? Should I say 'bad design' yet again or we can do without it?

Say "bad billy" in chat? Do you really want that to be "fixed" so that half of the players that did their gen and their 2 heals idle out until gates are open or hatch appears? And how many of these situations did you have already? I never experienced that. Pretty sure this is a quick shot, like you were annoyed by that and just yell out for a second. That would be a bad change
So if this is a 'quick shot' you think it should never be fixed? I would actually get over it and move on if I didn't see a couple of similar posts around here a while ago. Is it unfair? Yes. Do these crows serve like an AFK indication in these situations? No. Would it take a long time to solve? No, I'm pretty sure it wouldn't either. I see no reason for it to stay like that.
Also, how exactly those people whose behaviour you've described above would be able to idle out if this change went live? It's not like the killer knows their exact location and is ready to sniff around. If there are more gens to do, believe me, the killer won't just stay in the same area for a whole minute even it there's a hatch nearby. If all gens are powered, believe me, the killer won't just camp exactly these gates near which you've chosen to stay in the locker. But if you accidentally happened to be in the locker for a whole minute while the killer was chasing someone else in that area, it wouldn't be an AFK situation.

That's not how that works. The PTB should always be open for people to test literally everything before buying it. Why make people go through the 1000 different opinions on a killer when deciding whether to buy them or not, when they can test it for themselves for a few games and develop their own opinion on it? Or do you not care what people think about things outside of things that are brand new? Oh and also, going by your logic of "playing clown on plague when we need Freddy feedback", then every killer should be disabled except for the one that got attention that PTB, right?
Killers that are accessible on PTB except for the one that is brand new are already accessible on live servers, so everyone can play them without even having to move on the PTB. I'm not sure I fully understand what exactly you got offended by. Have you just randomly picked a topic to trashtalk devs? I'm sorry if I'm wrong, but it really does look like this.

The way you name Hag makes me laugh.

The Spirit definitely has a counter. It's just restricted unlike other killers' counters. If you made it to a point where you can't do anything but guess where she's coming from, you played it wrong. You've chosen the wrong direction to run and got screwed. Even in this case you have a chance to escape because of, you know, 'flipping a coin'. But some people insistently consider it's because The Spirit doesn't have a counter. I'd highly recommend this kind of people try to play a bit tactically rather than 'loop-loop-loop'. And in addition: take IW and walk off when she phases. Second strongest killer in the game, you said?
-
There were a lot of those annoying moments I've encountered playing swf or even just solo queue when the killer camps this last survivor while having NOED active and you just can't save your teammate. I think that is when this perk comes to play. These few seconds really can save your or your teammate's ass. Even though I agree this is very situational, there are on the other hand many situational perks like this one, so let's just face it: they are here just to fill some popular channels' fun perk builds. Behavior either can't or don't want to shake meta, or just lacks imagination.

My advice? Don't run Stridor. It'll screw you over more than it'll help. M1 Survivors then chase after them in your phase. They're real easy to track when injured.
Edit: Best add-ons are YA, WS, PB, DU, KT. Only use MDR if you're using Russian Roulette Spirit and Gen Protector Spirit.
The only confusing thing with Stridor is that it expands the area in which survivors' injury sounds are audible, so it can sometimes make you think that the survivor is right in front of you when they're not really near you. You can get used to it after a couple of games. But in general Stridor is absolutely worth perk slot. And yeah, it counters Iron Will in a way.

Nah. She's perfectly fine. In design and in gameplay. The best killer they've ever done imo.

What changes are you hoping for? My bet - they are gonna make it so his power ACTUALLY breaks after ONE SECOND of looking at him and fix that thing with camera spin. And MAYBE they'll get rid of the sound he emits. And that's all. That's not gonna make him viable tho.

Sounds have been busted for quite some time now. They've acknowledged this fact and said they're working on it right now.
Are you playing the PTB? I can't because I'm on PS4, but I've read that they've lowered the chase music and indoor or behind walls gen sounds/footsteps have shown some improvement.
edit: grammar
The chase music is definitely quieter on the PTB but I couldn't test much because of queue times. Let's check out what things are gonna be after this patch release.

I don't think so. The teleport is quite long and the survivors can see it coming.
You take Discordance, Surveillance and Pop Goes The Weasel and survivors are f***ed.

At 9:50 you can see that his power bar isn't being decreased. I suppose there's a certain condition that determines if the power bar should be decreasing or not. People say that the Ghostface should be in the survivor's FOV - that's when his power bar starts decreasing. But this can change of course.

I really hope these floating tapes won't be in actual release. Are they gonna keep this crap? Looks incredibly ugly and also makes him more noticeable.

*just another joke about Nea being the killer*
-
I don't know man. It seems to me that they kinda ran out of good ideas with the last two killers and they started to combine already existing powers with each other trying to create something interesting. But they end up creating something poor designed. And now this killer... But that's just my opinion. The Spirit's power's cool tho. It's simple and at the same time pretty interesting and powerful. Imo the best they could've done - they've done it with the Spirit's chapter. But who knows... We will see what it's going to be.
-
God daym, this man snaps his fingers again... What the hell, dude, stop this already!

I got banned for 'Unsportsmanlike behavior' back in december. Since I didn't do anything wrong except dcing, guess I got banned for that. I dced so many times as killer, literally several hours of constant dcing almost every day. The thing was that I wanted fun matches, and having fun was almost impossible at high ranks because of swfs. But after that ban I changed. I realized that I ruined the game for others by doing so. And swf is not the end of the world like I thought, I treat it like a challenge now and it made me so much better at doing my job as a killer. Sure, I still dc sometimes, but not so often and not for said reason.

Even if the killer knows your area, that doesn't mean he knows exactly where you are. Think about it, can you know exactly where the killer is just by hearing the heartbeat?
Yeah, you're right. After that you have two exit gates one of which needs to be opened. And since there's notification that the survivor have been opening the exit recently, they have very little chance to survive this. Alright, got it now. But the hatch still isn't needed at all. Just give the last suvivor this timer and two powered exit gates, and that's it.

The way you're describing it makes it sound like you would die in the same scenario even without the collapse, so I don't see why you're complaining now.
Yeah, definitely. But there's an exception - the killer can close the hatch now, so there's no hatch standoff. It means killer can just kill the survivor if he detects them while staying on the hatch, so the hatch itself loses sense. I mean, yeah, closing the hatch powers exit gates, but the survivor can't open it while being chased, so he dies anyways. I'm not complaining, I'm just curious 😉

There is no game mechanic that automatically exposes survivors. If you mean NOED, you can also break totems. The killer is standing still doing nothing; use that time to do whatever you want.
By being exposed I mean being detected 😅Sorry, english isn't my first language, so it's hard to properly explain things sometimes.
-
@Orion said:
There are still generators that the survivor could repair, just like it is now. It's not the devs' nor the killer's fault that the survivor chooses to go to the hatch.
I know, yeah. I'm just trying to say that if the killer stands on the hatch - the survivor can't choose to use the hatch anymore, so doing gens is the only option. And if you do the gen, you are exposed. So that's a straight death. And what's the point of the hatch then?

Its in the variables.
I checked 3 language.
"....action speed penalty of"+ x +" to a maximum of"+x*4+"........"
You can't judge without having the actual code. They can have section of "visual" variables which they haven't updated yet, they can have manually written description for each perk. So calm down and stop raging.

There are plenty of new interactions and the killer seems to be very well designed, with the way it rewards you for using the power and actually punishes survivors for not countering it.
However, only mobile killers rule in this game, so there's not much to be expecting.
