People aren't going to have a good time when players become good at this killer. I think the power design a little problematic.
Yes, he's slow, but his power is so quick to trigger that you zone for free. If you're dodging on the audio cue, you're going to get hit. This is 4.4 Nurse without a blink fatigue. And it's not quite like PH because there's a clear lock in and delay on his ranged attack. This just appears.
One issue i have is that a lot of the times you get while not being inside the hitmarkers, even while fully healed
-
I know someone who has the same issue. Every other game he gets his drops instantly. But for DbD be has to message behavior every single time yo claim them. He has linked and unlinked and relinked and nothing changes

Yeah it is TERRIBLE! I am gonna find out right now what causes it, just played one match vs Springtrap it might be because of the cams or it is just an all killer thing
I believe its due to interacting sith the doors in general. Sound was fine until I went through a door
-
I have a similar problem not sure if the same but, I noticed that once you interact with a door the audio bugs
-
I don't mind having to play killer, I hate it but i don't mind it. 75 hits tho, I pretty much just have to cheese it and slug, I can understand wanting players to play roles they dont tend to play, but this isn't the way to go about it. For the sacrifice survivors I pretty much just tunneled just to get the challange oit of the way, and now I'm slugging for the hits. Great way to draw me in to player killernrhanks behavior

How does it play on Switch 2? Any improvement?
I have not even downloaded it. it's on Nintendo's list of games that have problems starting on the switch 2. So I didn't even want to waste my time.
-
Please make a switch 2 version and not just update the switch 1 version to be playable, it looks and plays really bad
-
There is no day one patch as behavior has no way of knowing what hardware thry are working with, the dev kits were giving to a few company's. As far as weknow dbd has problems starting on switch 2 so they haveto update the switch 1 version. Behavior if you see this please make a switch 2 version, switch 1 looks like garbage.

Chaos shuffle is rigged anyways. I git unbreakable 5x last night.
Plus the addons for killer should BE random.
Survs are forced to play without Windows oportunity meanwhile killers have a buffet full of food
Gave us all perks to do with the killer terror radius, killer was undetectable almost all game
-
Add more generators inside. It has the same issue as the theater, zero reason for the killer to go to 1/3rd of them map unless they want to throw the game. All this work that went into the main building just to rarely be used as a chase area. Why do you keep doing this?
-
It's not even that it's easy to 3 or 4 gen yourself, the killer just needs to not go towards the theater and the game is done. Having gens spawn in as an auto 4gen already is bad game design. It's so easy to move one gen to the parking lot and even shrink th ststue side a bit and done
-
Just had this same issue I did stun him I the middle of him hitting me with his power
-
Don't understand how these were allowed to be put out like this.
-
Killers basically want one survivor gone before the game starts, that's why a lot tend to tunnel at 5 gens.
-
The map feels a bit large and both sides of the ship are dead ends, besides being difficult to rptoect gens its survivor sided
-
Dead zones, dead zones everywhere
-
Very strong map for survivors with connected tiles, but a lot of the tiles just become dead zones once pallets are gone think a lot of maps just need ro have more built in vaults over a pallet that turns into a dead zone when gone. Over all though survivor sided against most killers
-
Trying to cross from one side of the map to the other is just a death trap the middle is jsjt to much of a dead zone.
-
This map has a bad habit of spawning gens in and outside of main building, doesn't happen a lot but it happens.
-
@StalkingYou said:
until they actually give a basekit incentive to play nice then that's going to continue to happen
I know this is a month old, but an incentive will not lesson tunneling. It will just help the killer mains that are arelady good without it, and do nothing towards killers that actually tunnel.
-
The main building and side building are fine, but dead zone in the middle needs something . Please don't just add clutter, or breakable walls as changes.
-
The map favors survivor a bit, as much as I hate to say it the window in the front is really strong. Maybe expanding on the boiler room
-
The needs an graphic overhaul, there are a lot od dead zones, the more the pallets get removed during the match the bigger thry become.
-
The thing about Tunneling is that a majority of the communities solution is to incentives not tunneling, to give the killers a plus for not doing it. As smart as that sounds, it wouldn't solve tunneling, while just helping killers who already don't tunnel. If killers want to tunnel they will still tunnel. With the event we had with the deep fog I think we get maybe a decent solution there. Make it so killers can't see hooked survivor auras, and when they are hooked the survivor is teleported to a random far hook. That way when a survivor is unhooked the killer can't just head back to ir to tunnel. This would also help against A-hole survivors who like to unhook in front of the killer.
-
No I am not, my other skins play their music just not that one

As long as they fix gens spawning incredibly far from each other, sure. Remember, there are two teams in the game. There shouldn't be extremes for or against either side. Survivors aren't the only players. Sometimes I'll spawn into a map as an m1 killer, and the gens are all miles from each other. Rng goes both ways.
yes I understand that, This map has always had this problem with spawning a large amount of gens on 1/3 of the map, just like shown here.

BHVR's idea of making the game harder for survivors is to make dead ends. They started with the Saloon then with Midwich and now with The Game.
Ugh.
Dont forget yamaoka it has some dead ends in the main house too.

its been soooo easy to cleanse totems. every game, we cleanse rundying or devourdying so fast its not even funny lol.
there was a reason it was so strong before.
And in some games going against fast killers blight, spirit, etc. Sometimes it's almost impossible.
-
So what did killers do before undying existed? Just lose

I solo usually, but try to be mindful when I know where the killers are at and when I see them doing traps I undo the trapper's and if I have a fleshlight the hag's too. They wind up camping me for it if they happen to get me afterwards and it's around the area, at least after the second time I do it to them. If there is los and I finish the trap in it they get real mad sometimes, and I kind of feed off of it now. I consider it a win if I get them mad enough to throw the game. It gets tedious enough that you have to make your own games within the game. When I'm camped on my own terms and it was my goal, I'll still struggle. Otherwise as a power play I'm out and into a new queue lol.
Since it's gonna be a game where everybody is in control of others' experiences often more than over their own... I'm gonna be in control or I'll find a match where I can be. Which is why no matter how quick the queue gets I don't like killer any longer. I feel like some pasty nerds are sitting behind a desk thinking, "this is gonna be your lessened experience every other patch, and you're gonna learn to get used to it" and I'm like, "nope. survivor is the best killer frak you". Survivor even kills other survivors better sometimes.
You typed fleshlight lol

I love playing killer, and going against an obvious swf you go to a gen after you hook someone and see them on bbq and they are long gone by the time you get there it's pretty great feeling.
I'm a solo q player and I just assume all killers have bbq, so I'll be long gone before young get there, I just count to 5 and then start moving

Play with your friends. I don’t care about that.
But maybe play the game as intended once in a while instead of with information bloat.
Honestly as a solo q player, I think they should introduce proximity chat, but killers would complain about it.

I wish the Devs would just finally balance the game around SWF and the fact that they are almost always on comms. Don't hate the players, it's not their fault that they want to play with their friends and use an advantage that the devs promote.
I play 100% solo queue, I can say that the game is super swf sided, but solo queue is terrible more often than not, nerfing perks to balance swf is going to destroy the solo queue base, and all that will be left will be swf, unless they do it correctly, which so far they've shown they can't. Take in case undying, not that strong of a perk against swf, but in solo queue where you can never tell what the other survivors are doing, it was a horrible perk to go against, so I'm glad for the nerfed. I think maybe making it so if you are in a swf you can't use the same perks as another player in your group could be a good solution, but then again I feel they'd complain about it. I also had a change for DS if you touch a gen, get fully healed, or get inside a locker the perk should deactivate, because doing any of those things means the killer is not tunneling you, the locker part is there because lockers were made to hide from the killer not to jump into them to avoid their hit, which in turn covers the head on/ds crap. But obviously I'm going to get a lot of hate from other survivors for even thinking of touching their crutch perk.

I mean Autohaven, Coldwind, Macmillan, and Springwood are the maps you get most often just because there is such a dumb number of variants of them.
I don't mind new Autohaven even though it sucks for trapper, but Coldwind usually comes with an offering and an Object of obsession and it's just ugh... I hope the next map rework is all of the coldwind maps for the love of god please let coldwind be next.
Also dont forget that auto haven also has the exploit where it spawns 5 gens on one side and 2 on the other.

im pretty sure that disabling a map from appearing could be done on their backend, so there would be no need for a hotfix or anything. don't quote me on that though
also, i thought swamp was the only map with an exploit atm? what other maps do?
On coldwind the totems tend to spawn in unreachable places, autohaven has a chance of spawning 5 gens on one side and 2 on the other
-
@Mew said:
havent seen swamp much until recently, which is weird considering the exploit
youd think the devs would just... disable the map, but nope
Well with the fact that they only like putting patches out every two months, as well as admitting that they rarely work, this doesn't really surprise me. But then again if they disabled all the maps with exploits, we'd have like 2 maps left

I don't mind coldwind farm, what I mind is that 90% corn map we kept getting sent specifically to that one.

I've been getting mostly Coldwind as survivor, which is wicked annoying with the totem bug.
As killer I was getting more variety.
I had that at for a time too, it kept sending me to that one too, it's like it switches every week. It kept sending me to the one that's 90% corn, you would think they'd find a way to fix these small bugs, but I think they're just leaving them in since they're gonna rework them eventually. A "why fix a map we are going to rework"mentality.

Next time just save up 9,000 shards for the character. I’ve never understood the draw for the shrine. Why wouldn’t you want all the characters, or at least the ones that you don’t have to pay real money for?
Because I'm not gonna play them, and I dont want their perks? Why would I waste shards on that
-
As much as I hate to say it the only way for DBD to die is if a game comes out that's the same, but does everything better, but I dont see that happening anytime soon.
-
Why is this still happening almost 2 and a half months later, I know this map is mostly likely gonna get an update soon, but that doesn't mean you can ignore the bugs until then smh.

Crap like this. A matchmaking system that allows it's players to fall all the way back to begginer levels, and thereby destroy newer players.
My bad I see it

Heal up. Stridor is somewhat helpful on non-injured survivors but incredibly useful on injured survivors. If you can tell that a spirit is running stridor heal at every opportunity.
Let me just tell her to stop chasing me so I can heal to counter strider.

Honestly if I see 1 hooked, 1 downed (typically next to the hook) and notice the 3rd survivor is about to get downed as well (typically near the hook, too) then I will stay on my gen just so I can get into a match with more competent survivors.
Yup, cant do much in situations like that, but when one is hooked with kindred, I'm getting chased so I take the killer away from the hooked survivor the other two players are both on different gens, and neither want to go until they finish it and the one one the hook hits struggle.

Your putting the blame on 1 side while it goes both ways.
I've seen both solo's as well as swf play like this.
I always play solo and don't care about escaping but just pipping.
I'd be happy to sacrifice myself to rescue others.
I've seen a 3 man swf where 1 was downed, I got chased but he lost me and chased another.
I go to the downed survivor and who do I meet?
Yup the one who got chased and even tried to heal the downed survivor 🤷♂️
I had were I kept rescuing everyone multiple times, but when I got on the hook the just went on a gen close by and let someone from across the map rescue me.
They didn't took it lightly when I brought the killer to them and pointed to get them, which he did 😂
So yeah it ain't only solo people, goes for swf groups too
Never said Swf were not selfish, I play alone, I've had a swf, just leave me with a key after I kept unhooking all 3 of them, I mostly play games where no one is swf, as far as I can tell, at least the swf are helping each other solo qs tend to not care enough to take risks, they dont like getting exhausted for a save, don't like taking aggro for others
-
@malloymk said:

I guess you should take some agro a lot earlier. Then it might be zero dead. One on each exit gate, with plenty of time to coordinate a save.
"I died on my first hook" is the cry of a player that doesn't have a simple grasp of how the game works.
Yup, they don't like taking aggro, they want to unhook me, heal me and then let the killer tunnel me while they hide instead of taking a hit
-
@bjorksnas said:
sloppy butcher is the culprit, 124% healing speed * 80% modifier = 99.75% speed not enough to be red but also enough to make it faster
really? I feel really stupid then.
-
Just make it so if they touch a gen, it deactivates so they cant do gwns in front of you, besides that its fine.
-
Run detectives hunch to counter a perk? Sounds like pay to win to me.
