I didn't say don't play the game. I said don't play the event. Two completely different things. I didn't say people can't have a different opinion either. In fact you're the one acting like I'm some villian for enjoying the event and quite literally telling me not to comment. You should really check your passive agressive, sarcastic attitude at the door.
I hear you, you're clearly enjoying the event and finding ways to benefit from it, which is great. My post was more about broader balance concerns and how the event might affect player roles and overall game health in the long run. I wasn’t trying to be sarcastic or dismissive, I just see the impact differently. It’s fine if we disagree on that.
That said, being told “just don’t play the event” on a post meant for event feedback feels a bit dismissive, especially when this event is supposed to celebrate the game's longevity and the dedication of its player base. Criticism doesn’t equal negativity.
As for you saying I’m flipping things and making you a villain — that feels like a bit of a stretch… but if the boot fits. Also, it’s kind of ironic that after I’ve already answered several responses, you’re still coming back and commenting on my feedback. You’re telling me I have attitude for sharing my opinion, yet you’re the one who immediately responded with “don’t play the event” just because you like it. That feels like an immature response, and honestly, it doesn’t help move the conversation forward. I’m not gonna keep going back and forth on a video game forum. You act like I’m saying you can’t have an opinion, yet you’re the one who commented first telling me “just don’t play the event”.

I don’t have an attitude, I was asking a probing question and assuring you it’s out of curiosity and not a set up. I never implied you work for BHVR, just asking what you would find satisfactory. Like how would you do it? I agree it’s okay to have opinions. It’s why I’m asking probing questions to get a deeper understanding of yours. I’m not going to apologize because you’re assuming, when I expressed it was curiosity and not a set up. So do or don’t give the feedback, it makes no difference to me, I’m just asking because they(the devs) lurk on the forums and might find whatever you have to say insightful. That’s all.
I’ll give you a pass but just know I’m not dumb and it was very condescending especially your comment about if I was “king/queen or whatever”. Fixing Dead by Daylight really isn’t that hard. Survivors just need a fair chance to actually play the game.
Tunneling and slugging at 5 gens shouldn’t be normal. Survivors are getting taken out in the first two minutes with no real counterplay. There needs to be stronger anti-tunnel systems that kick in early, and slugging should come with real consequences. If a killer leaves someone on the ground, they should recover faster or get basekit Unbreakable sooner. No one should be forced to bleed out on the floor while the killer patrols for easy 4Ks.
Solo queue is still brutal. No voice chat, no pings, no real info. Meanwhile, killers have full control and survivors are punished just for playing alone. Even a simple ping system or better aura-sharing would make a huge difference. Survivors shouldn’t feel like they’re playing a totally different game just because they’re solo.
Events are supposed to be fun, but they’re just more of the same grind. Killers play like it’s a tournament, and survivors are stuck trying to survive long enough to maybe get hatch. Why not reward players for using off-meta builds, trying new perks, or just finishing a match without tunneling or slugging? Give people a reason to play for fun again.
Balance is still off. Survivors get constant nerfs, while killer perks stay strong or barely change. Survivors rely on second-chance perks because they have no room for mistakes. Killers complain about gen rushing, but when every match starts with tunneling or slugging, rushing gens becomes the only option left.
There are still major bugs, broken hit validation, and cheaters running around unchecked. After nine years, basic match stability should be the standard, not a bonus.
None of this is about making the game easier. It’s about making it fair and actually fun to play. People are leaving. Survivors are burned out.
If BHVR wants this game to last, they need to start treating both sides like they matter. Survivors aren’t just filler content for killers to farm. Give everyone the tools to have fun and some incentive, win or lose, and people will actually stick around.
This new event is burning items and offerings. Even the new bloodweb mechanic. They finally added it in-game, yet make it so if we use 2mil BPs to level up, it clearly chooses the stuff you don’t want. How about make it so you can pick 1-3 items that would be first picks on the web? Who knows. I can only give feedback, I can’t give them all the solutions—unless I’m on the payroll 😂

But the killers do have it easy nearly every match. This false narrative that every game is against sweats is built on lies and barely happens. Majority of killer games are against solo queue players. Killer mains just think they are deserving of winning every single game no matter what they do. Its being entitled, exactly what killer mains have been saying about survivors wanting literally anything that makes the game more enjoyable. But instead we get whatever the hell this event is, forcing survivors to stay in games (that they on average are forced to lose anyway), and half baked afk crows that needed over a week to fix because they didn't take any feedback from the PTB.
I get where you’re coming from. Survivors constantly get nerfed and told they're entitled just for wanting fair matches, while killers tunnel and slug solos at 5 gens and still act like the victims. That narrative gets used to ignore legit survivor feedback, and yeah, it’s exhausting.
But not every killer is sweaty, just like not every survivor is a cracked SWF. A lot of people on both sides are casual and just want to have fun. The game leans killer-sided, especially against solos, but that doesn’t mean every killer is some high-skill monster.
The real issue is the game itself. Events like this one feel punishing, feedback from us gets ignored, and survivors are left dealing with burnout. But pointing fingers at each other won’t fix it. Survivors and killers should both be calling out the systems and use their voice so that the devs do listen. Yes, there are toxic killers and survivors though.
If BHVR wants this game to survive, they need to start listening to both sides and stop treating survivor feedback like background noise.

oh okay thank you for answering. If I may ask another question, if you were King/Queen/Whatever in between for a day, how would you solve these issues? What do you think the best way to go about it would be, only asking as you’re dissatisfied with what they have attempted/implemented. So like what would you do? This isn’t a set up for a jab or a gotcha moment. Just curiosity.
Wow, thanks for the attitude. You asked a genuine question and then got condescending when I gave a thoughtful answer. King or Queen? I clearly don’t work for BHVR, and I even gave them credit where it was due in some previous responses, but your response just proves you’re not actually open to hearing a different perspective.
And just so we’re clear, it’s completely okay for someone to have opinions or ask for fixes in a game they spend time and money on. Players like me literally help keep the game alive. Acting like having feedback is some kind of crime? That’s not maturity, that’s just insecurity dressed up as a pick me. If you actually want to hear my response, you could apologize first, then ask me sincerely and drop the attitude or don’t respond.

What are some of the things you feel/think they are choosing to ignore, if you don’t mind me asking? I want to understand where you’re coming from.
Yeah of course! I can go on about the event and the remote hooking, same old event every year, etc. but I’ll tell you why I think they ignore us. Which could also be some things you feel need change that have been ignored, I’m not sure. I feel like BHVR keeps ignoring a lot of the issues us survivors (even some killers) have been bringing up for years. Things like tunneling, camping, and how miserable solo queue can be just don’t seem to get the attention they deserve. Survivors have been asking for real solutions or systems to help with these problems, but BHVR either brushes them off or gives band-aid fixes that don’t really solve anything long-term.
At the same time, killers keep getting perks that feel super oppressive to play against. Stuff like Scourge: Pain Resonance gives free gen regression, Deadlock stalls progress constantly, and Nowhere to Hide or Ultimate Weapon basically remove stealth or safe plays altogether. Add Call of Brine, Overcharge, and NOED on top, and it starts to feel like survivors are punished just for trying to play the game normally.
Solo queue is a huge part of the problem too. There's no way to coordinate, no team info, and if one teammate messes up or gives up, it’s basically over. Survivors end up getting the short end of the stick, while BHVR doesn’t seem to prioritize making solo play more viable or balanced.
That said, I get the killer side too—playing against really strong SWFs or top-tier survivors can be rough, and it’s not like killers have it easy every match. But the bigger issue to me is just how often survivor feedback gets ignored or downplayed, even when it’s about core parts of the game that clearly need attention.

I'm sure the events will get better in the future, right now their main focus is operation health. Which the community basically demanded so I do believe other things are suffering a little more because of that, but we’re getting what we wanted so there’s that. I like the idea, it does feel a bit too killer sided. I’m not sure if it’s because of the event conditions, new content drop, or because of the patch so I’ll not speak on why. It can just be a growing pain as the community adjusts.
I agree with you. I don’t want to take credit away where credit is due. BHVR listens to fans, sometimes, and they also fixed a lot of things. This event is for the 9 year anniversary. It’s come a long way but at the same time—it really hasn’t. Sometimes the tiniest buffs or nerfs can make or break the balance in this game. There are just some things that they choose to ignore.
-
If you’re looking at the numbers at face value, then yes, records were broken. Did the event break records or did the DBD x FNAF collab? Let’s not take credit away from the popularity of FNAF and BHVRs successful decision to bring FNAF into the game. To say it’s because of the event, is not true. Did the event bring in more players? Of course. Every event does. Are they new players or returning players? Are they FNAF fans who want to play a game that is different but with their favorite game characters? These are questions that are indeed thought about when looking at the facts. Some players only play when there are events. Especially, returning players if there’s a popular new licensed killer AND an event. I think two things can be true at once.

That still means the event has been the most successful one so far.
Either way you spin it, it's broken all previous records.
again, it’s not the event that broke records. It was FNAF being introduced that brought more players to the game.

The killer was released two weeks ago.
All time player high was 3 days ago...and that's just from Steam.
Whether they're new players or veterans, more people are showing up to this event than ever before.
Peak for today alone was over 100k concurrent on Steam alone.
That's millions of players across all platforms, most likely.
People are clearly logging in to play at record numbers.
It will probably go down during the week, per usual.
This happens every-time a new licensed killer comes to DBD though. Some people have no clue what DBD is, so within that two weeks, people may be hearing about it or finding out that FNAF has joined DBD and are trying it out. If you never played a game before and that game has an event, it would not entice you to play that game. This event didn’t just bring in all these new players out of nowhere. Am I saying this event has nothing to do with older DBD players coming back to play? No. Just that FNAF is the main reason why there are more players. It has a huge fan base. That’s like if they brought in a new Taylor Swift skin for Fortnite. Swifties would play the game immediately without ever wanting to play it before, simply because you can play as Taylor.

This event is driving killers away, too. Something's changed, and my matches for the last week or so have been absolutely bonkers. Gens are flying way too fast
That’s unfortunate! I will say that it is because of the killers who are constantly slugging, tunneling and bleeding. For the most part, survivors are trying to have fun. Yes, there are survivors who are toxic, but a lot of us just want to have fun. I go in the game knowing I probably won’t win. Doesn’t mean I don’t try my best. If I go in 10 games and 9/10 games I’m being tunneled or slugged at 5 gens, I’m gonna start bringing in gen builds to give myself a shot. Just sucks that it’s like that. I wish I had a solution so that survivors and killers can just have fun in game and not have to sweat every second just to give themselves a chance.

In my region the event queue for killers is DOUBLE the normal queue. It's just a horrible event and miserable to play on the survivor side. I dropped the event queue entirely after doing my challenges. Slightly more bloodpoints is not worth the headache.
That to me is just sad! This is an event celebrating 9+ years of this game being up and running—thanks to the loyal players. Yet, here we are, having to result in us not playing the event. It’s just all around sad.

honestly, 2v8 feels more like a "real" game than 1v4 does. because in 2v8 momentum never really just stops. you never really feel the effects of camping/tunneling. often at least a few people escape and a few people die. its fast paced. far more saves happen. far more chases happen. generators speed is quick so you don't feel like you're just wasting your life sitting there doing nothing. and hilarious things tend to happen in 2v8 that would never happen in 1v4 just due to there being so many people/killers. 1v4 used to be so much fun and feel actually pretty accessible to new players. but now they've streamlined the game so hard towards high level play that its sucked a lot of the soul and life out of the game. i used to play WAY more killer back when killer was actually difficult because it's genuinely not fun when half your games are literally just free wins because the matchmaking decided that me, a player who has played 15,000 matches of DBD, should be matched with new players.
I couldn’t agree more! They should keep 2v8 in the game all the time. You should be able to pick between 2v8 or 1v4. Only problem is we’d need more players playing.

What are you basing your statements on?
did you read everything on this post? FNAF is the reason why more people started playing. It has nothing to do with this event.

It's almost always a bad idea to introduce your friends to the game. I specifically tell people not to play. In a perfect world, I'd love to enjoy the game with my friends. But I know from my own experience that it's not a great experience and frankly predatory mechanics are what keep a lot of people sticking around. I'd rather the people I love not get as sucked into it as I have.
As I stated, “I finally got some friends to come back to Dead By Daylight”. They are not new to the game.

I don't understand these posts. Just don't play the event. It's that simple. I have went from 70/30 killer main to 95%survivor main simply due to the crazy amount of BP I can farm. Between the instant Qs, the 1.5x mult, and all the offerings I'm getting 200k BP on a bad game, and games are only lasting about 10 minutes on avg as survivor. I don't feel like having the devs take time and focus to balance a 20 day event over new content, or base game balance is a good way of keeping the game going. If the event balance bothers people, they can just play norms.
If you don’t understand these posts then maybe you shouldn’t comment on them? But you’re so right, nobody can have an opposing opinion on anything in the game and if they do—they shouldn’t play the game. The devs have had YEARS to rework this event, but that’s ok. They can’t even balance out the normal game—for the most part.
Maybe putting more thought into events that celebrate their loyal players (whom also try and recruit new players) and longevity of the game isn’t the best idea. Thank you so much for showing me the light and freeing me from all of my dumb opinions on this game/event. You’re so smart. -
One of the only reasons why they’ve hit over 100k was because they brought in FNAF. They hit their highest mark this year because of FNAF. They always get higher player counts when they introduce a new licensed killer.

There are currently no Killer-Bots. And while I know that BHVR is working on them (mainly for the Custom Games), I dont think that a Bot will EVERY be somewhat as good like an actual player. At least for the more complex Killer. Sure, a Bot will be able to play Trapper or Wraith, but I dont see that a Bot can play Blight or Singularity (as examples) in a way that it might actually be interesting to go against.
Also, the game ends when the Killer DCs. And I would rather have that than having to play against a Bot.
(But in general, my opinion has always been that Bots dont belong in Public Games. Especially the useless ones we currently have)
Yeah the bots now are just….well they are there lol if there was an improvement to the bots so they can use sound instead of seeing through walls, could be something to explore. But I agree that bots will never be like an actual player so it’s not something that’s too important atm I imagine.

@Sava18 said:
I don't think killer should be replaced with a bot, more than one survivor bot and it's alt+f4 worthy. Survivors don't deserve to queue up against a bot that they didn't intend to.
DC penalty should be 5M/30M/1H for both sides
Survivor should not be able to void the dc penalty by "SELF UNHOOKING" . This isn't defendable by the way, it's not that I don't want to have a conversation about it but that there's only a couple below mediocre arguments against me here. I've seen them all and removing it will help in the long run(a whole 3-6 months).
There you go, I just fixed 1/8 to 1/10 games easily.
I agree for sure. Penalty for both sides, maybe killers is less?
I'm a survivor main but I do feel bad for some killers when other survivors are being toxic or they are getting obliterated about to lose the match with no kills. If the killer wants to dc at that point— I’m totally cool with it. BUT there are times the killer definitely deserves a dc penalty.
IMO when you’re playing killer and you dc, you aren’t really letting anyone down since you don’t have teammates. When a survivor does it, you’re letting three other people down.
The bot I think could go so many ways. It could make the game easy, sweaty, annoying, funny, etc. you just never know. I think it would be cool if it was tested out, but also playing against a bot or having them on your team is so dull.

Not here for a troll but when you put yourself out there, youve got to take what comes back, even if you dont want to hear it.
Discriminate? 🤣 yes when a random new profile with 3 posts wants to start off telling someone that the game doesn’t revolve around them after doing what? That makes complete sense. Sounds like you want the game to be completely as YOU want it. This game doesn’t revolve around you so if someone wants to go in a locker for a perk the game gives them, don’t you think it’s a bit hypocritical when YOU get mad because YOU assume someone’s hiding? So yes, keep trolling.

I don't 'excessively hide', I just run Distortion on certain characters and play stealthy if the killer is coming.
I still do gens whenever I can, still unhook and heal and still do chases when I can't avoid them, but I know my limits and I know despite having so much time on survivor, I simply am not good in chase and never will be. No amount of throwing matches to try and improve in chases will get me any better and it's far better for my teammates if I focus on my strengths instead.
The game isn't all about chases, I hate chases as survivor and don't really like them as killer but I'm good at other aspects of the game, so I focus on those.
And there’s no problem with that! Not once have I been mad about another survivors perks that they use, unless I’m killer (which is because I just hate playing killer). I also don’t know how some players don’t get that this game is meant for everyone to do their best and get out alive while having fun. Once the game is completely taken seriously, all the fun is taken out. Just sucks that there’s people who cannot understand someone else’s gameplay so they ruin it for everyone.

I don't see how this is trolling, I answered with resolve to your post, how can survivors see you going into lockers? Your doing it in front of them, so my suggestion was to not go in to a locker in front of them as you wouldn't a killer.
You had 3 posts when you commented. Also,
“Instead of getting the dbd world to revolve around you, why dont you try not using lockers around survivors, you wouldnt do it in front of a killer now would you?”
so now I’m having the game revolve around me simply because I wanted survivors to stop being entitled and selfish and throwing games because they ASSUME I’m hiding? I can’t even go into a locker in front of someone who I’m suppose to take hits for and unhook, heal, etc?

I think some people here agree with you. The post was more so for survivors who don’t seem to understand that there are locker perks. Just because they don’t use them, doesn’t mean other survivors don’t or can’t. If I see someone doing that and have a feeling they are new, I’ll help them out and have them follow me to get stuff done. If they don’t, not my problem anymore.

You're the one talking about ppl getting mad about you hiding in lockers. I've got more than double as many hrs as you and I've never had that happen once. So naturally I have to consider you might be the problem. My goal is to get a 4-man escape so if I see someone not making gen progress or taking chases consistently it's not good. Efficiency is key and lockers waste time.
I’m not sure how not touching grass is a flex, but 👍🏼. Also never said anything about me hiding in lockers. You should read the post again. Just remember you decided to comment on this post after hopefully reading it beforehand. So me simply letting other survivors know that throwing a game because you saw someone in a locker DOESN’T mean someone’s hiding all game and definitely doesn’t mean that I don’t do anything as a survivor lol The fact that you have NEVER had that happen to you is great! But also most likely a lie, IMO. Also, it’s funny you think you know how I play as a survivor because I go into lockers from time to time to activate perks that help us out. My post wasn’t intended on getting people as upset as you seem. It was to let other survivors know that lockers are not only meant for hiding. Thanks for your input though!

not to condone the behavior but if you are at 0 hooks while the team is getting slaughtered and the gen symbol didn't appear next to your name in majority of the match on top of that, you still going into lockers to avoid the killer will upset your teammates.
I agree with this! I just don’t think we should be making assumptions right off the bat. If I’ve been doing gens, taking hits, unhooking, getting hooked, healing, etc. then I go in a locker to use inner or built and you wanna throw the game, that’s bad sportsmanship.

Yes, I also have around 2k survivor hours in the game. Not sure if you read the part about the perks that need to activate inside of a locker and everything else I do in game. I’m not afraid to take damage or a hook at all. It’s crazy to assume you know someone’s play style because they asked their teammates to not throw a game simply because they THINK I’m hiding.

So you're excessively hiding, and not doing your fair share of the chases? And you're hoping the rest of the team will carry you, because you don't want to help with chases? You're making the survivor team worse by excessively hiding.
Do you know what's better than excessively hiding? Learning how to be good in chases, so you can actually be useful, and help your team.
You got all of that simply because they use the perk distortion? 🤔

Another reason for lockers:
- I lost a Distortion token when a survivor was hooked. (BBQ & Chili)
- Someone wrecklessly traded and got hooked soon after. I now have 1 token left.
- Another survivor was downed before I could get close enough to the killer to replenish my tokens.
- I hop into a locker for 7-10 seconds to save my last token and wait out BBQ...
But no... Kate saw me go in. Guess the first place she ran to when she was found and chased. My gen.
And why was she found? Because she didn't use the forbidden locker to hide her aura from the killer.
See that’s why when I’m on hook I immediately check the indicators on the left to see progress of gens, who’s injured/healed, who’s being chased, etc and the auras. This helps me in that situation get an understanding of why someone would go in a locker at that time.
I’d much rather go in a locker for less than 10 seconds and then unhook so I can take an extra hit (inner healing). Just smart play in my opinion 🤷🏻♂️
I healed someone during endgame with my medkit and used it up. Pointed them towards the exit gate and ran towards a locker and of course they followed me to the locker. Then proceeded to try and open the locker and throw a pallet down and vault out of there so when my medkit was finally fully charged the killer was also fully charged and knocking me to the ground.
All I did was heal them and try to get them to open the gate while I healed myself 🙄

If so many survivors are trying to get you out of lockers that you need to make a forum post about it asking them to stop... maybe you are spending too much time in lockers.
I’m not even going to feed into the trolling because you have no idea how I play as a survivor. As I stated in my post, there are perks that you have to use lockers for. built to last and inner healing are two of them.

Because there are situations where the survivors give you every reason to camp someone out. If I hook someone and all 3 survivors swarm me around the hook, then guess what I'll do?
I'm not going to run across the map and wait for them to reset and remove any pressure I have on them. The same is true when even 1 survivor is obviously near the hook. 2 survivors are not progressing faster than I am in that situation. When all survivors are injured and I have someone on a hook, then why wouldn't I camp them? Before they can even attempt to get an exchange they will need to heal.
By nerfing tunneling and camping you also make the survivor role more forgiving for mistakes because you take away any possibility for the killer to capitalise on their mistakes, which incentivises them to play even more reckless. This is already a problem. I've seen a lot more Deliverances over the past couple days. Why could that be? Surely it's not because they can simply rush the hook, get an unhook because I can no longer stop them and get their Deliverance for free, is it?
The funny thing about tunneling is that right now it's stronger than it has ever been. Because instead of healing, they'll rush gens with Resilience, which also takes away the possibilities of a safe bodyblock. Instead of running DS and OTR there are a lot MFTs and WoOs. Basically survivors try to progress their own objective as fast as possible and completely ignore any defenses they might need. 1 year ago before 6.1.0 killers actually had a risk when tunneling someone. That risk is no longer there. And that is to a degree on the survivors themselves, that make it so easy and so much more necessary.
I don’t think killers understand that’s our main objective during this event. It’s the event offering for us to get extra bps after completing gens. Only this event have I seen “gen rushing”. Even when survivors aren’t gen rushing, killers claim “well idk what your progress is on gens” as if that’s an excuse. It’s also a reason why they are trying to push BBQ&C for this event. This whole thing about killers having to “apply pressure” has been overused. If anything the survivors have been putting pressure on the killers with trying to do their objective. I personally think killers are so used to winning and getting what they want, that they can’t handle when gens get done fast. This isn’t for every killer either. Like I said before I’m ok with the bleeding, tunneling, camping etc when it’s last resort and it’s not every game I play.
-
I’m not gonna lie, EVERY SINGLE GAME that I have played this past week has been killers camping, tunneling, and bleeding. I totally get when it’s a killer here or there doing it, but c’mon. This is getting to be a little too much. It will be at the start of game or after we pop one gen. I even have recordings of it because it got to be too much. Even killers just sitting there throwing bottles at me or singularity shooting his eggs or whatever at me while I’m bleeding out. It’s getting out of hand. I haven’t seen any survivors being toxic and I will be the one to say when survivors are being toxic. We get it, everyone wants event bps but there becomes a point where it becomes too much.

Using it no. I think it just needs to be built into all survivors. The game is set up to down, then hook, then sacrifice. Bleeding out players is almost always due to the fault of the killer.
"What if they all crawl to a corner" - Why didn't you hook after you downed the first one? Because I saw someone near and thought they might go for the save. Okay, go after them and down them but then hook them or hit them and as they run, hook the survivor that was down. There is no story I've ever seen or heard from in this game where a 4 person slug bleed out didn't involve the killer just not hooking people at some point. There is always a choice. Making unbreakable a 1 time use that all survivors just have, would get killers hooking people quicker and making the game flow better.
I totally agree with it being built in! If you could get yourself up at least once if you’ve been downed for more than 30-45 seconds or so

I agree with this! I think they should definitely have it built in, which would stop killers from slugging. I think 4 minutes to bleed out is a little too high, especially with the killers who will down all 4 survivors and let them bleed out.

Just furthers the need for all survivors to have a basekit unbreakable. Would completely remove slugging from the game or cause the killer a lot of stress to slug all 4 and then have all 4 up and slug them again.
So you believe all survivors should just use unbreakable and that’ll solve the issue? Because I believe that if all survivors started using unbreakable, killers will complain it needs to be nerfed.

I get that 4min's is unfun, but how often do you currently run into slugging killers aside from trying to get the 4k? Unless it's Twins or Oni it's been really rare for me personally. If you lowered the time to bleed out don't you think it would only incentivize killers to do it? What thoughts do you have that can make it a better experience?
I just posted a picture of how long it takes to bleed because someone said that it’s a short time.

It's not. When slugging survivors, they will shortly bleed out (even though it feels like a long time). So it's not holding the game hostage. The devs have said that a killer will not be banned for slugging.

"I’m not sure why nobody uses her"
she is surpringly hard to get good with.
and feels kinda bad until you do
Yeah I’ve never played as her before, so that’s good to know!

I typically LOVE going against hag (I know I’m weird). Maybe it’s because she’s not used a lot so it can be fun. I just got off the game and played against hag. I’m not sure why nobody uses her because this hag was AMAZING! We got 1 gen done and she really put pressure on us. This event has made it so gens have been going quickly but she knew what she was doing lol I ended up getting hatch but just like the person said at the top of the comments, if it ain’t broke, don’t fix it.

Then when I get into a match, I’m paired up with people who clearly aren’t even close to my rank
Yes, you complained about getting matched with people of different rank.
But visible rank doesn't exist anymore and grades aren't any indicator for anything but playtime between each 13th of the month, so I guess you mean skill or their overall playtime.
Now if they make the matchmaking faster once again, you will end up with even worse teammates because at some point the matchmaking progress will have to be completely random to be fast or instant.
You’re totally right I guess that means I was complaining just calling the people “useless”. You should also learn the difference between complaining and simply someone just stating something. I’m not sure why some people on this forum love to comment on people’s post and be rude, but do you. You can tell when someone hasn’t played dbd a lot before or is new, so please take the attitude somewhere else.

By the way, I just had a Sadako game were I avoided camping and slugging the whole game. There were 3 alive when I downed one and deduced they should be close to finishing the last gen. I teleported there, downed the injured one, but the other one finished the gen in my face and triggered adrenaline on the one I had just downed. This started a back and forth where I would slug the ones I downed to prevent others from reaching the exit gates, and the last person standing would heal another and make sure there were always too survivors standing, until I got the condemns and started killing them without spending too much time. In the end it was a really close game were the last survivor got killed at the exit gate entrance right after opening it. The person even said "gg wp" as it was a fun game for them too.
See that’s so much rewarding than face camping/tunneling! If I played against you I would’ve said gg too! As long as the killers don’t face camp/tunnel and they win, I will always say gg to them! I’m all about both sides having fun! Typically when 4 people escape I will give the killer my item or go have some fun with them around the map. That’s what makes this game so fun and engaging!
