I've stopped playing but I do come back to the forums to see whats being debated. The reasons i've stopped playing aren't really a shock to anyone. Overall it just feels stale, and gameplay has just got a bit boring.
Recent events and game modes have been very disappointing with either terribly designed mechanics, lack of new content, or a lack of rewards/progress to keep it interesting and engaging.
It also feels like matches now are too fast paced for me. For me personally it never used to feel like this, and therefore it just gets stressful to the point of thinking "why bother" for the amount of reward/BP i would get for matches which would only get me like 1 or 2 bloodwebs. Theres no incentive for me to play.
Some other decisions such as the "horror" leaving all of the maps (a good example is coldwind, general darkness and fog) also sucks the fun and energy out of matches for me. 2v8 used to drag me back for a while but i don't see myself coming back any time soon unless there are some actual meaningful changes made to the game.

I did have it, game crashed, and now i don't have it. Paired with bloodweb errors, no BP after a match, AND getting hardly any cakes in bloodwebs this is off to a very bad start

And to confirm, does this result in a crash to desktop, or does it drop you back in the lobby/menu? Is there a crash/error message?
It's on PS5 so the entire game closes, no error messages appear apart from the usual PS5 "report issue" notification

I do want to check in on these crashes as well, though, so I can escalate them to the team. Would you be able to give me any more details on what's happening during these crashes you describe (i.e. where they happened; was it a full crash to desktop)?
My crashes in particular have been on PS5, i'm able to get to the endgame screen but it crashes randomly on there. I'm not doing anything specific on that screen just the usual scrolling between the pages! I don't think it has been saving the bloodpoints from the match either when a crash does happen

I haven't caught up on the gameplay too much but did anyone test with a controller? It seems tricky to control on controller from a very initial look

I actually really agree. This is the first time in months i've really enjoyed playing killer (and survivor but to a lesser degree). The killer feels smooth and fun to use on console/controller which has honestly surprised me. The power is very satisfying with not too much of a punishment for missing. Going against him there feels like a decent counter and room to breathe. Very much enjoying the chapter so far and i'm glad you are too!

I had a feeling this would happen. Why have they been so cheap with BP these days? Are BPs coming out of BHVR wages? haha. For real though I would have like proper compensation after wasting so many BPs to buy them

Also wondering this! Watching videos of the PTB it strikes me as similar to placing old freddy snares, which tbh was very awkward/annoying for me on controller. But very interested to hear feedback from actual people testing!

Scan lines dont "scan" if a survivor isn't moving i don't think. Theres also a cooldown after a scan line eventually does scan. It's pretty weird. Can also crouch and move through them and it doesn't do anything either lol

The Sadako point agree somewhat lol. I used to play her a lot but I haven't the slightest clue the specifics of her power are any more. As a casual player I don't have the capacity to keep up with so many base changes so i just gave up lol. We need some in-game detailed specifics for killers now and i'm not sure why they haven't done that when they're preaching about "quality of life updates".

Do they not use AWS? They're restricted by that and there aren't any more data centres in the USA as far as i'm aware. So ask Amazon not the devs lol. Someone can correct me if i'm wrong lol

I actually ended up using oppression, eruption, surge and pain resonance and it was done pretty quickly into the match. I felt bad about stacking so much regression and felt naked without my comfort perks but i needed my challenge done so 🤷♂️
Edit: i'm not actually sure oppression actually counts as damaging 3 gens or not so i could have dumped that perk for something else lol

I think there is no scenario where survivors can win against this combination of current Clown + Haddonfield.
It might just be impossible.
I literally just had this combination and genuinely you'd think the clown was speed hacking - i'm returning to the game after a break and it's actually a joke lol. Feels miserable to play so i'll be taking another break lol

I'm surprised by my stats because they're very incorrect lol. Unless something has happened to it and it's just missing loads of data for periods of time. It originally loaded the correct data but now it's missing a lot.

Agreed. Still awful to play against. The cooldown between the jump and an M1 needs to be increased and that vault speed needs decreased. It's incredibly unfun to play against. It's just a lose-lose situation most of the time.

"Escape 1 trial". Solo queue. Was a mess. Never again.

I literally had my first experience of the killer using this after holding a 3 gen for the entire match. Basically scammed out of extra BP, all survivors showed as "dead" and lost my item because the killer got bored holding his 3 gen and wouldn't commit to a chase.

Devour Hope is the only Hex Perk actually worthy of its Hex category honestly.

For real though i only feel like hexes are worth it with Thrill but then that's a whole perk slot just to protect my hex :(

I just started playing again after a short break and soloq has been the most miserable experience. If i'm not being hard tunnelled out of a match it's my teammates screwing me over or not lasting more than 20 seconds in a chase. It's wild.
