I dont get why people think BHVR is gonna ever put a IRL serial killer and profit from it. Thats kinda insensitive.
-
What if legacy returns as a reward for rank? For example each rank reset you get points, the higher the rank, the most points you get until you have enough points to buy a legacy cosmetic piece. For that ranks have to be reworked to be meaningful.

Feedback: Her model is accurately far better from Quentin and Laurie.
The only changes I'd suggest are make her eyes alittle small and less open and make her jacket's pockets stuffed.
The folks that are saying she is Quentin equivalent version are just overreacting. I am impressed they hit close to her original look, if they do the suggestions I've stated she will be good.
-
I believe it was stated Konami lost the source code of SH3 plus its asets. I do think they could've made her eyes alittle small and make her jacket's pokets stick out more.
-
I'd rather give more BP to survivors.
-
I think he is fine where he is.
-
Its not really an offering that guarantees free wiggle escape. It's power comes with the killer and hook distance, giving someone enough time to sabotage, or when you are picked up and the hooks near you are already used and theres no available hook near you. Petrified Oak benefits from big maps the most.
-
I don't really get the reason of that decision as well. Maybe to make the addons get lost equally like killers addons? But playing survivor already gives far less BP than playing killer.
-
Maybe make him burp or something to create a gas surrounding him, and maybe cut down his bottle preparation to not take a century or give him normal walk speed while preparing them.

His terror radius isn't bugged, his music is just quiet until he actually starts the chase. You just need a better ear for his music/terror radius.
Why should breaking the chain himself stun him? That means no matter what, even if he does use his power skillfully and successfully, he gets punished, then we have another Legion on our hands.
They definitely need to look at his TR also I am also back pedaling on the suggested hook break stun, I suggested it a small 1.5 sec stun but not the same way he gets stunned if a survivor breaks the hook, Its just that the interaction with his hook unbreak and noed making it kinda OP, but its just noed and can be taken care of.
-
The tactics you've come up with to get an survivor or catch them in an error. Also the vast options of perk builds that doesn't boil up to only using 8 perks

Your response to me giving you legitimate advice that was blanket statements that could be used in most situations was to come back with more specific scenarios expressing your lack of skill and knowledge in how these characters work or how they are countered. Then when I called you on it, you acted like a child with "love it when people escort to". So the only one in here trolling is you, and I don't understand why they allow players who don't take the time to learn the game to be allowed to join discussions on the forums. It doesn't help the game move forward, and only causes toxicity like you are bringing.
Count my statement as blanket as you want. You gave me advice, I gave you realistic view of the advices you gave me. Then you escorted to be toxic 'youre just a yellow rank' then you cried wolf i was toxic to you when i called you out. Maybe you should play as survivor more.

Boy do you have a lot to learn about the game. I'm not going to sit here and argue in pharagraphs with someone who belongs in yellow ranks.
Love it when people escort to "you're just a yellow rank", usually they admit defeat when their mouth gets shut. Also Im not gonna sit here and argue with someone who's probably trolling or entirely delusional. ☺️

I know it’s a way to defend. But a lot of SWF play this game to just try to ‘bully’ the killer. Constantly chasing you around and taking hits for other people. The fact he can’t injure you until you’ve either broken free or been hit, makes him an easy killer to terrorise. As people can just keep denying you that hit. Also, you’ve neglected to mention why you want to hear people scream across the map? And how it makes your game experience any different?
Its just an idication to know whenever or not he is chasing someone, same way you can hear an survivor scream while being in chase with Doc.

When you know how to. Freddy just stay awake, or watch for the snares/pallets. Spirit watch for the grass, keep quiet, be mindful of your scratch marks (Iron Will is a good perk against all Killers). Nurse know how long she charges her teleport - open spaces is actually easier to loop her than around pallets.
There you go the basics for all 3. Honestly I would prefer any of these three over facing a Huntress personally. Huntress requires a lot less skill, and delivers a lot more punishment when you lose the mind game, since she gives a lot less oppurtunity for survivors to abuse second chance perks.
You just listed a ways to counter and lets look at the scenarios you've listed from a realistic perspective!
Freddy puts you in dream state if he hits you and its gg if he trapped a loop, can't be awaken while in chase. Iron Will is the only perk that counters Spirit but if shes smart enough she will not give you a chance to mindgame and not every loop has grass around it. As of Nurse, you can only punish bad Nurse players who overshoot their blink. Good nurses will blink short distance and if they are mindful of when to blink and save charges then its gg.
Also I disagree about Huntress, she requires more skill to play than Freddy and Spirit plus she can be mindgamed with wasting her hatchets.
So from your opinion and experience, you can outplay Freddy, Spirit and Nurse but you have problem with the most counterable killer from them that is Huntress.
-
@TheLastGreatStar said:
Why do you need to hear them scream across the map though? It’s such a random request. What does that actually do to make your game better? Lol. And my bullying comment was towards if you meant have them scream louder in general, because so many people love running in between you and the harpooned survivor to take a hit. So this will just make that a bigger occurrence.
Why is bodyblocking a hooked survivor considered 'bullying'? Thats one of the ways to defend an hooked survivor.
Also it wound't really matter if you hear an overmap scream and you are far away from and slingshot survivor.
-
I had moments when the killer accused me of being in SWF. When some killer's games doesn't go well for them, they always boil down to 'I got outplayed by SWF' when thats not always the case. Players that are soloq and are overly alturisting and look over their teammates exist as well.

There is literally no need for discussion. Your opinion is so one sided and irrational that it really IS just bait. A killer that is not only very difficult to use but is also one of the most harshly punished for making the slightest mistakes, has to wait more than 6 seconds to use his power while being HEAVILY slowed down, moves at 110%, and is completely ######### over by the way hitboxes are designed doesn't need nerfs.
His terror radius is large enough that it requires a perk (M&A) to be mildly useful; his weapon is already loud enough notifying everyone that he's shot, any more than that is overkill; and you have to be JOKING about adding another cooldown to him. He's nurse's younger brother, being slow as ######### and having to suffer through a cooldown/stun every 2 seconds.
Love it when people discard my opinin as 'one sided' when they don't agree with it, easiest way to counter argument nowadays I guess.
I played enough games with him without M&A and had survivors complain about not being able to read where I was comming from.
@TheLastGreatStar said:
- His terror radius is fine how it is. He’s supposed to be a semi-stealth killer. You literally have a Spine Chill icon which is one of the best counters for stealth killers.
- Why should they scream? Is it so you know when to run in between him and the harpooned survivor to stop them being hit? Seems like a typical bullying tactic. If that isn’t the reason, can you explain? As you don’t hear survivors scream across the map from basic attacks, so I don’t see why they need to scream from this.
- Why should he be stunned when he releases the survivor? If they aren’t injured already, they stay that way when he breaks the chain. Seems a bit unfair for him to suffer a stun for something that’s beneficial to the survivor.
Why do you think an simple survivor scream that can be heard overmap when hooked is gonna enable bullying? Outside of SWF.

You mean 6 of them you learned how to counterplay, and that's just your opinion from your perspective instead of looking at the scenario from the outside in. I don't have an issue with any of these Killers, including Deathslinger. Actually I would say Deathslinger is the easiest to mindgame out of the whole lot.
I just listed all the Killers who have an easy time taking advantage of safe loops.
Nurse, Freddy and Spirit are indeed very easy to be looped and mindgamed /s

Couldn't this be said the same about Huntress, Nurse, Spirit, Clown, Trapper, Freddy, Hag, Doctor, and Legion?
6 of them can be looped and mindgamed while the others aren't offering that much of an counterplay.

I disagree about the TR changes.
I think if you get shot from the healthy state, that you are automatically put in the injured state. The fact that getting shot doesn't do that is just stupid.
He is terrible with pallets, so making him drag survivors across them would be a good change.
He already has a stun as long as legion's (without addons), which is the longest self stun in the game for killers...
He reloads after every shot.
Survivors can maneuver way too much while on the chain.
He needs some buffs, not some nerfs, imo.
My break hook stun is to prevent the one shot from noed he can do. Also his tr needs to be bigger or fixed because it keeps cutting off and you can't really indicate if hes near you or not, its messed up.
-
Nurses calling is definetly a really good perk to run on him just like how infectius fright is good on oni.
-
The delusion makes me crack up lol. Freddy definetly needs to be looked at.
-
Personaly, if they slightly shrunk the hitboxes, it would kinda fix the issues. I think the size of the hitboxes are also contributing factor of getting questionable hit.
-
He's not really a mobile killer so his stun power is kinda compensating it. It's just that some of his addon combos makes it almost impossible to pre-vault or drop a pallete. He's not overpowered.

Because if distortion recharged survivors would have even less of a reason to stop holding M1. Why do you people want to streamline the already basic ass survivor gameplay by buffing something like distortion? Or is getting off of your generator for five ######### seconds really that terrible?
Don't think such a buff will dramatically overbuff survivors who run it and they wont become invincible.

As ChiTenshion said, you don't wanna waste your stacks. Once you know what the killer has, which can be a very important information, you know what to do to save your stacks. And when to use them on purpose if you need the advantage. And to be honest, killers don't run 4 aura reading perks.
There are games of course where aura reading perks and addons combine and suck up your stacks pretty fast. There are also like "total information" builds for example to assist Huntress snipe shots. But these games are very rare, and if you balance around that, you would be aura immune in the rest of the games. And you even get a good amount of advantage with your 3 stacks nevertheless, not forgetting about the information you have
Again, I don't think it will be unbalanced and you wouldn't be totally aura immune if its done right.

That's where the power of deduction comes in handy. Distortion triggered? These are the most likely culprets:
- When a Survivor is hooked - BBQ & Chilli
- When you're healing - Nurse's Calling
- When a generator has been popped - Rancor
- When you're downed - Deerstalker
- When you perform a rush action - I'm All Ears
- When you enter the basement - Territorial Imperative
Can also be used to figure out Killer addons but the list starts getting too big.
And thats why it should be rechargable, there are so many aura reading perks, yet it wastes tokens on perks that aren't that benefitial of you knowing they exist like Deerstalker or Territorial Imperative
-
@Deadeye said:
Exactly. It is an information perk basically. Not an aura immunity perk
For an information perk that barely lasts to tell you what the killer is running, it sure is not that useful.
-
I don't see problem with that. Sitting on a locker to counter BBQ contributing nothing to the team is a time waste and not every survivor is hiding from it anyway. It will be great counter to nurse's calling too. Also most of the time its not a great idea to camp near the killer's tr just so you can recharge tokens.
-
DS and BT wouldn't be mandatory if the game's design didn't allowed camping and tunneling.
-
you can see how much the hitbox is quite expanding beyond poor Dwight's back.
-
Just pressure gens and other survivors while you are slugging.

Yes.
BT should not have unlimited use (when the conditions are met). Either 1 use each for anyone that has it equipped, or at the absolute least it should have a massive cooldown.
I agree it should have a cooldown if they allow BT to counter stealth killers.
-
Insidious should not counter Kindred with already how limited communication it is between soloq players. Why should it be like that?
-
@Huntar said:
The counterplay is to do gens.
Yeah tell that to soloq players who also probably should look for totems as well to avoid noed while someone is getting stealthcamped.
-
Technically is there aim assist when you try to attack someone as a killer? Why does your aim move towards the survivor when you hit M1?

Ok, I misunderstood what you meant, I think they would clog up the basement hooks, maybe they could be placed on the walls, but I don't see the necessity of it.
Its okay, I suggested the basement because I think they could use alittle more presence for killers.

I was talking about killers -_-
-
@Rizzo said:
The basement is killer's property, it wouldn't make much sense.
I like the idea of putting them on jackets, but not every outfit has a jacket.
Then why does it make sense for them to be hanged on hooks?
-
@Rizzo said:
I personally like them, i don't think they are barely noticeable on survivors, but i'm curious, why should they be in the basement?
Why shouldn't they? Just hang them on the walls or the hooks.
@humanbeing1704 said:
they should be on the jacket or shirt of the survivor I barely ever notice it on their side
Agreed, some cosmetics that are long even hides them.
-
Also I forgot to add something, charms are barely noticeable on survivors, it would be cool if they were made more noticeable and be shown on survivors like a badge.
-
I think the ruin nerf is to make the game more appealing to new players, and to make space for something the devs are preparing for killers.
